@Hanno Futaba gave the hulking man the queue and he pressed rush on his UI. Not wasting time he would rush toward the goblin. The path he took was covered in dense forest but he didn't mind. Charging thru the brush till he could see a goblin in his sight. Grinning as he unleashed a crude lariat blow slamming his forearm into his chest breaking bones and sending him sliding. Finishing him off blow from his weapon slamming into his face and crushing his skull under its weight. Bring down the weapon and its full weight turning him into a pulpy paste.

"Yo Hanno the hobo goblin dead I'll keep you in place for now for any backup. Unless I am mistaken these goblins are oddly organized. This could be a bit more than just a bunch of dumb ones eh?"

The hulking figure would visibly shrug and then look at the mess of meat and bones. Next to him was a fire breaking out and a bit farther was a shaman he could kill. The waiting made him a bit more jittery so he started to twirl his weapon to build up power for his next strike.

"Aye @Elesis Blackstone get out of the fire! Damn it one of those goblins got me I just noticed..hm...how annoying"

Blue eyes stared from far away, watching Sarina get her ass kicked, for lack of a better way of putting it. For a friendly competition she sure was knocking on death's door pretty closely by the looks of it. That did not look too good. Where she and some of the other goblins stood, there was nothing but fire. A perfect crucible for him. Further urged on by Hanno's remark, understanding the meaning. "Right, more fire." He confirmed, even through his personal concern that using his flames in that more densely wooded area might cause some unforeseen problems.

But thoughts and caution were for someone else. Not for the man currently riding the high of crisping the bodies of goblins so easily, and watching the one, the only Croc man twist and then smash that hobgoblin flat. Something that in itself was straight out of an anime or video game cutscene.

Zelrius's dash forward placed him right next to Sarina, weapnos drawn, one blade going in front of the woman. "Move away, you don't need to be burned standing there." A thought that was meant to be reassuring to her, but he forgot the more heroic part of that. Stating it like the woman was more in the way or needed protecting. Maybe she wouldn't interpret it as such. If he was lucky.

Then began the Pyromancer's dance through the scorching field. Blades and flowing footwork. His legs came up, and twisted over each other, stepping back and forth, spinning him around with each slash and swing, flame followed and circled out with each movement. Burning the likes of the nearby Goblins and undefended Shaman.

"This but a possibility!" She replied, turning her head towards Sarina the moment Hanno mentioned the Faerin Goddess's name, sharing the reaction with her captain as her lips spread a little, wordless distress written all over her features right now.

"Captain!" Elesis shouted, needlessly so as the man was swift to act, and the fox girl followed behind, with her heart set on the offense once again and with a bloody grip over her sword as she rushed into the fray once again, following behind Hanno and Ghast.

She bent over as soon as her second blade was at reach once again, twins reunited and put to work together once again to cover the retreat and to support @Zelrius and @Herculean Drakecon to strike where it hurts.

"Not yet sire Herculean! Not until they falleth!" With how the man brought down the biggest of the bunch and the redhead culled the rest, she had to make it up to them and finish off the task, moreso now, in defense of the wounded.

Once Sarina was taken out of the blazing fires and a stray goblin begun it's pursuit, her iron intercepted it dead on it's tracks, digging deeper into goblin flesh this time around, with less restraint on her limbs and pressure on her shoulders as she let her heart loose for a moment, if only to pay the gobbo back the only way she imagined her fellow squire would: with violence.

And violence she gave it with a twist of her swords inside it's body, pulling out the blades for one final strike to end it's life swiftly, and as painless as she could afford it to be. Cruelty, even against an evil-doer, was something she hated the most. But the brunette wouldn't linger no more around the frontlines.

Not when a healer is needed.

"I did prepare this one f'r thee, miss Sarina!" Elesis sheathed her blades and pulled the lid off from her mug, the apple-juice aroma already permeating the air. Unfortunately it didn't mix well with the stench of this forest nor the smoke from the fire that broke out not so far away.

But smell has no say against the taste of her drink. Which would be proven soon enough as the fox practically forced Sarina to chug it down for her own good.

"HA! That takes care of you boogers! Ouch, that went rough but damn I didn't win that did I? Urgh!"


Even though Sarina said that, she still smirked as she leaned her staff against a thick oak and stretched her arms (a bit painfully) over her head.

All around were goblin corpses with the exception of those that had sprayed some type of thorns during the battle. Those Goblins were just skeletons, very brittle skeletons. The stench from earlier still lingered but was much lighter now. The afternoon sun still shined brightly through the treetops. There looked to be a good few hours of daylight left.

Sarina pulled out some ointment and rubbed her arms and legs with it, Offering a bit to Elesis if she needed it. She was obviously in pain but no longer on death's doorstep. In fact, she seemed pretty damn chipper for someone who both lost and almost died to goblins. The sweat on her face and the burnt edges of her clothes didn't lessen her good mood. It was a fight and she got experience. That was what mattered!

"....man. That was a HELL of a good time! That much closer to dueling Saya and taking her sword as my prize! I still feel my heart RACING! Helps to not have to smell so much of whatever that was. Hmmm, what the hell was that anyway?"


Her eyes fell on a decayed goblin corpse.

"No more goblins I don't think? Heh, welp!"


Sarina looked at the party each in turn. A small fire was relighting in her eyes with each person she sized up.

"In a bit I say we go to a cleaner spot and... whatcha think fellas? Go ham with me? Once I get back to the HQ I can't have this much fun again for awhile. We could spar without having to wreck the Hall of Heroes. I have a few tricks I didn't use here just in case. I don't know if they'll work any good but I'd like to try them on you! Whaddya say guys!!?"


Sarina Knights was truly addicted to her own adrenaline. She also had completely dropped the "I'm not a Lion" facade at this point.

The forest around was dead quiet. Yet nothing dangerous appeared. Perhaps you would rather investigate the direction the goblin torn in half came from? Monsters too, are good challenges. Or perhaps it was truly time to call it a day. Who knew when a Goblin Champion would come to seek revenge for his fallen green kin? More goblins would just be dull for such hardcore asskickers right?

That was the last of them, and now the man turned to echo the same sentiment as the Faerin had about their welbeing. "Is everyone alright?" Specifically concerned about Sarina and theFoxgirl - though Herculean had been hit by the thorns and taken on the Hobgoblin directly as well. It wasn't all that serious; just some goblins afterall. A competition that it seemed he won. Maybe he had tried a little too hard, in the end. He felt bad, hoping that everyone had fun.

But that wasn't what cut the deep frown into the man's face at the moment. That Goblin was already strewn away from many of his own limbs and extremities when it arrived. None of their attacks had done that. And there was still that foul scent emanating from deeper within the forest. His heart rate quickened some, wide eyes flicking back and forth through the trees. Unbeknownst to him, the air around him began to take on his anxiety. Heating and wafting erratically. Draining away at his energy in the process.

his gaze turned to the others, and to Sarina, and her offer of going back to have some sparring. But it felt... immature. Childish. When there was something greater at play here. Something else going on. He'd speak to the Lioness Knight , hoping the other three would hear his reasoning out.

"There are definitely more goblins in the area, you can always sort of count on that in the Astorean side of Brisshal. Spring and the coming summer and all, who knows what they're up to. Not to mention that stink. Maybe sparring can wait? Get some lunch, and we can head in further to see what's what?" It didn't come out as certain as he had perhaps wanted it. Offering even the compromise that they could take a food break, refill hunger meters, and take a second to rest. Maybe that would appease them...

Things quickly simmered out and he took his moment to de transform shaking off the hulking form. His body loudly and painfully came back to normal. Bones snapping back loudly back into place and shrink as mass is forcefully reduced. Shaking again as the pain went away but it was finally over till he transform again. The trinity shop lit up in his UI which he took time to read. Given the options in front of him, he would definitely want to fight more goblins. Not for the sake of doing it but that would be a tough fight for more rookie players. @Zelrius Would put his idea first and herc wanted to investigate more. The goblins seemed awfully organized.

"Oi i agree with zelruis even if its not our problem its ours now. This is more for every new player that comes across this area. Something about those goblins so organized rubbed me the wrong way. Any chance we could heal up and head out? Maybe eat and heal up first before we head out of course. We didn't take much damage but if anyone needs to re-up on spells and all of that.

He would see the opinions at this neato star called emporium which tickled his fancy. Even the cute girl saying she was rooting for them really pumped him up. He realized he has gained these oversouls things i haven't used yet.

Hanno suppressed a sigh seeing Sarina's overall reaction. She was ready for more training? That girl must've been tossed into a cauldron of energy drink when she was born.

"Always lively, aren't you? A training would do well. All the three of us are owing push ups and squats, after all. Since Herc-man and Zel got rid of pretty much all goblins."

He chuckled, then, crossed his arms as he pondered about @Herculean Drakecon and @Zelrius considerations to the smell, and to the strange behavior of the goblins overall.

"The Lions already roam the beginner area to try to take newbies to safety... I do agree we need to check this at some point, but some of us aren't in the best conditions."

Hanno pursed his lips, both worried and conflicted. If these goblins were plotting something, they needed to be syopped. But if they tried to intervene, failed, and by failing got them either dead or maybe even 'helped' the greenskin to get what they wanted.

"In an ambush they were already pretty numerous. I think we may need a bit of reinforcements to tackle the core of the problem."

Hanno gave his two cents.

She had plans to take a rest for the time being, yet to see her fellow squire push harder made her own competitive spirit brighten up, specially with @Hanno Futaba pointing it out as if this were the norm for Lion's in general.

"Captain, alloweth me wend first 'gainst Sarina! i wanteth to spar with her before the others beat her up." Elesis quickly turned over towards the faerin, with a spark in her eyes, having lost all care for having to break her bones doing push ups and squats the whole day post-sparring.

The topic seemed to have taken a focus over to the future of the goblins, or rather, of future incursions against them, taking turns to listen to each point of view from the group, turning over to @Herculean Drakecon and Zelrius with an apologetic smile. "I bethink not i can taketh on yond quest, friends. We wast did hurt quaint badly, and i bethink not i wanteth to risk t twice without some extra hands, like hanno hath said" Worrisome tone had her eyes peer over to Sarina.

Truthfully, her heart was shackled by fear ever since a single strike left her cold on the floor. This was a task meant for true knights, not apprentices like her and the staff user.

Cycle 4a: Day of Knights

There was something mighty stinky going on in Brisshal that day. So stinky in fact that it was best ignored. Sarina was happy to noblesse oblige that decision. The team of gob-stomping asskickers would relocate shortly after discussing the oddities and whether or not any more fighting should be had at all.

Sarina wasn't going to accept a bunch of push-ups without at LEAST one more fight! Ever since she fought the nameless tiger that day. Sarina itched to fight with a lot less caution, and a lot more adrenaline! Now was her chance.

That chance would come right at this spot. A cleared-out field with a lot of room for punting vulnerable targets and deflecting annoying archers with helicopter spins! Seeing how the redhead with them could turn the earlier area into a forest fire real quick. It was even better...

"This spot is good."


Sarina held her staff to her side like a spearman. Leaves passed by as a gentle breeze kicked up. No stench was upon that air. A deep breath as Sarina sucked it all in.

"The goblins were something. If we are always so much weaker than common monsters. We won't be able to protect Astorea and keep playing as we are. I don't know how I'd feel if it ever fell completely. On one hand, I'd be free to just goof off. On the other, a lot of people would have it hard. Having a home like Astorea is what makes this game playable for a lot of people. For better or worse."


The brunette thought about how easily Szofrit could have floored everyone. How she was one shot right in front of Levi. How strong some NPC in this game could be. The stories... the limits of the players... there must be a way to close that gap!

"Captain. Even though I'm a full-fledged knight. You sure have a lot more experience than me. I hear ya on holding back but I just can't! I want to be strong to protect others. I... didn't succeed in real life because I was bad at it there. Here NEEDS to be different. I need strength. Thou Art, you feel the same right?"


She looked at Zelrius and Herculean.

"Hercule was breaking bones left and right, turning into a damn lizard. And this guy... Zel? You could have gotten us killed with all that fire. It was GREAT! ...I feel like I still have so far to go. Do any of you know who Childress is? Lady Saya? ...and the one that helped Levi back then? I can't recall her name but her too."


Her hand gripped her staff tighter.

"Someday I want to beat each of them in a duel. I want to be the strongest in Terrasphere. Then Astorea has nothing to worry about. Zeus who when I'm done! For that, I need to grind hard! I have to break the limits of the game and if I can maybe everyone can! Are you ready? I'm going all out and some bones might break!"

    Starcalled Level 2
    When the time to face a Fated Moment comes to pass. Often the soul shines far brighter when it is ready to go further beyond. For those times in battle, there is Oversoul.

    All of your points together are recorded at the end of every cycle. On your turn, you may use special Oversoul Free Actions, consuming the points you have personally stored.

    Now that the Starcalled have reached level 2, individual Unique Oversoul Abilities have been unlocked! You can use these as soon as you have built up the required OP needed. Abilities listed as [SEALED] are unavailable until a later point in the story. These abilities do not consume OP. These abilities are based on the build, tags, title, racial traits, and DAs you register into an LFG. Once acquired these will be formatted similarly to Generic Unique ability cards (yellow) in the builder. They will reflect the version of your character when they registered only. Always be sure you have your build information up to date for the most appropriate abilities to be allotted to you.

    Act as a team and use Oversoul to swing victory from the jaws of defeat Starcalled!

    Methods of building Oversoul:
    • Every point of HP/SP damage dealt, HP Healed, or Buff Applied to any amount of enemies or allies= 1 OP
    • Half of the total damage received during the damage phase = 1 OP
    • Every ally tagged (max 5) = 10 OP
    • Enemy defeated = 25 OP to kill taker, 10 OP to the rest of the party.
    • Important: All Oversoul is accumulated at the end of the damage phase after enemy attacks are dealt out. So you do not actually have the points you gain until they are given out by the DM/Narrator at that time.

    System Details
    • Events without an LFG do not use the Oversoul system.
    • Oversoul cannot be used retroactively beyond the mentioned before/after definitions.
    • Whenever a teammate is Killed/KO'ed they lose all Oversoul accumulated.
    • All advantages granted to Critical hit are only 1d100.
    • Advantages from Oversoul free actions do not work on Wild/Reckless pair. However, other forms of advantage such as Unique abilities and enemy weaknesses work as normal.
    • Oversoul free actions may be combined together (enhance+force+chain etc).
    • Beware: You are not the only ones that have Oversoul abilities...
    | Gobal 0 OP Cost Actions
    Carry: (bonus action) You can move others. When you move, you can pick up a willing ally from any zone you move through and drop them off at any zone you enter afterward as a bonus action.

    Reposition: (bonus action) You may move any one adjacent non-boss unit (and some objects) 1 zone in any direction from their zone.

    100 Enhance: +10 Modifier to next roll (checks, attacks, saves, etc). This must be done immediately after making the roll you want to enhance.

    100 Force: Deal 25 SP damage when you deal damage. Does not work with aoe or splash. This must be done immediately after making the roll you want to enhance.

    200 Chain (You and Ally): Combine one of your next Standard actions with one tagged ally's next Standard Action of the same type (Attack, Defense, Support). Giving both actions Advantage. Must target the same enemy/ally or enemies/allies if aoe. Must be used on the initiator's turn, before rolling action. Your ally may choose to cancel the combo by not spending points on their turn. You do not get refunded if a chain is broken.

    400 Overaction: Use an additional Bonus Action (you may not double the same BA). This must be done before taking action.

    400 Cleanse: Remove all stacks of all curable ailments you currently have. must be done at the start of your turn before taking action or moving.

    500 Action Swap: Swap any action of your choice in your build to your current build sheet. This can be done anytime on your turn.

    500 Fortify: Negates your current Vulnerable state. This also brings Super Vulnerable back to Vulnerable. This must be done immediately after becoming vuln.

    600 Unite (You and Ally): Combine one of your Special Actions with one tagged ally's next Special Action of the same type (Attack, Defense, Support). Giving both actions Advantage. Must target the same enemy/ally or enemies/allies if aoe. Must be used on the initiator's turn before rolling action. Your ally may choose to cancel the combo by not spending points on their turn.       • While Equipped reduce all damage taken by 10. Deals 25 retal when you receive direct damage from an enemy and they are within range (automatically calculated in the damage phase). Blocks 1 stack of a curable ailment/debuff being applied to you every cycle. Roll a 1d3 every cycle and if 1, gain a Dissonance stack.
    • Soft Landing: (passive) Cuts Falling and Throwing damage in half.
    • Protective Awareness: (passive) (aura) +5 Reflex Save to Hanno and all allies within 1 ring of him.

Nothing fired up herc more than someone that could take a beating. He would grin like a madman and transform once again. She had spirit and he stepped up one thousand percent when she offered the challenge. The sound of breaking bones and intense growling turned into his hulking visage, Though he would wait to use his weapon. Starting off hot as he charged at her like a madman.

He would deliver the same lariat that he hit the goblin with but missed his mark. Still catching her in the chest then following up with a crude but effective uppercut. Though this would throw off his balance a bit to most likely catch a staff whack on the top of the head. It wasn't as strong as it could be but it caught him off guard and made him stumble back.

Something about that speech tingled her senses, awakened the extrovert within the introvert's heart. The true strength of a squire, so far that she became delusional about her true rank and position. And it only was supported by the way @Hanno Futaba intervened with a speech of his own.

"Thee two..." She sniffed a little, feeling herself at the verge of emotional tears, shooking her head off to set it back straight in the game: Feelings and chivalry aside, Sarina was their opponent now, and while being outnumbered for a spar sounded a bit too unfair...

Her heart awakened to adrenaline with Hanno's battle roar, giving her swords a twirl before rushing in. This time she didn't wait for him, didn't time her steps properly nor charged with the group. He spoke of recklessness, and reckless she would be.

"I'll showeth thee what this lion can doth, Sarina. Worry not about our bones, f'r i'll heal and breaketh yours as many times as i needeth to defeat thee!"

The fox roared, invigorated and stripped from fear once again. Her blades aimed to the torso, yet the edge alignment was true and through in it's attempt to strip flesh and bone alike from Sarina, just like the 'squire' might have wanted.

Nothing but safety held back.

The area was cleared out, and still yet, the man's mind lingered back to the danger's of the forest. Looking back, with his head turned in the other direction. It wasn't good, and now they were going to play fight in the forest. The world was really something, wasn't it? The other full steamed ahead, and Zelrius let his frown stay in place. This was... stupid. A waste of time. How could they act like this? -

Those weren't the thoughts of Zelrius. Those came from someone deeper within, someone who was always present. A man who saw the passing cars and walking streetgoers of any afternoon and echoed the same sentiment at them. Who would work a shift just to get his parents to shut up about having a job, because they didn't understand what it was he was going through. Maybe this was like that. He could just get through this, and everyone would be more interested in something more serious.

He shouldn't even be here, this whole thing was dumb. What an idiot he was for even agreeing to come out here for this stupid competition. It was better to try and get it done quickly, now that he had agreed. This girl wanted beat up? Then so be it. Ever one not to wait, but not motivated by his usual seeking of thrill and a real feeling of life this time, Zelrius went forward in a blaze. Swords drawn, stabbing and poking around the handle of her weapon and her stance of choice, looking to get around it. And letting this girl feel the fire the same way the Goblins would have. Letting the heat rise in the air, and the grass to wilt in his wake, however muted his current emotions and feelings were. Repressed in an attempt to not be judged.

With the roar of the captain came the force of lions, adventurers, and explorers!

Sarina wanted it and she got it! Her reaction to this? Duh, more ADRENALINE! There must be a point where she blows a fuse right? Well not yet. Sarina saw the challenge of the stocky faerin and used her above-average agility for a tank to partially evade the dismissive attack of Zelrius and the mighty blow of Herculean.

"BRING IT THOU! I SHALL KICKETH THY ASS!"


Tanking the hits Sarina spun her staff and it began to extend like some sort of Goku impersonation. It whipped around picking up the wind and everyone caught in it. Creating a small bit of time with the attack. She rolled out and ran, skidding to a stop and pulling one hand back. Her thumb bent inwards tightly and her fingers close together.

"Heh, watch this Zel. I've been waiting till we were out of the deep woods..."


The red light from her hand was a momentary indicator of the forceful thrust forward and ensuing fireball that followed.

"EAT PYROMANCY MOTHER FUCKERS!"


Seeing magic at play by so many up to this point and Vina's showcase during the spar at the Hall of Heroes. Sarina decided to take on a fiery proficiency of her own!

    Starcalled Level 2
    When the time to face a Fated Moment comes to pass. Often the soul shines far brighter when it is ready to go further beyond. For those times in battle, there is Oversoul.

    All of your points together are recorded at the end of every cycle. On your turn, you may use special Oversoul Free Actions, consuming the points you have personally stored.

    Now that the Starcalled have reached level 2, individual Unique Oversoul Abilities have been unlocked! You can use these as soon as you have built up the required OP needed. Abilities listed as [SEALED] are unavailable until a later point in the story. These abilities do not consume OP. These abilities are based on the build, tags, title, racial traits, and DAs you register into an LFG. Once acquired these will be formatted similarly to Generic Unique ability cards (yellow) in the builder. They will reflect the version of your character when they registered only. Always be sure you have your build information up to date for the most appropriate abilities to be allotted to you.

    Act as a team and use Oversoul to swing victory from the jaws of defeat Starcalled!

    Methods of building Oversoul:
    • Every point of HP/SP damage dealt, HP Healed, or Buff Applied to any amount of enemies or allies= 1 OP
    • Half of the total damage received during the damage phase = 1 OP
    • Every ally tagged (max 5) = 10 OP
    • Enemy defeated = 25 OP to kill taker, 10 OP to the rest of the party.
    • Important: All Oversoul is accumulated at the end of the damage phase after enemy attacks are dealt out. So you do not actually have the points you gain until they are given out by the DM/Narrator at that time.

    System Details
    • Events without an LFG do not use the Oversoul system.
    • Oversoul cannot be used retroactively beyond the mentioned before/after definitions.
    • Whenever a teammate is Killed/KO'ed they lose all Oversoul accumulated.
    • All advantages granted to Critical hit are only 1d100.
    • Advantages from Oversoul free actions do not work on Wild/Reckless pair. However, other forms of advantage such as Unique abilities and enemy weaknesses work as normal.
    • Oversoul free actions may be combined together (enhance+force+chain etc).
    • Beware: You are not the only ones that have Oversoul abilities...

    Carry: (bonus action) You can move others. When you move, you can pick up a willing ally from any zone you move through and drop them off at any zone you enter afterward as a bonus action.

    Reposition: (bonus action) You may move any one adjacent non-boss unit (and some objects) 1 zone in any direction from their zone.

    100 Enhance: +10 Modifier to next roll (checks, attacks, saves, etc). This must be done immediately after making the roll you want to enhance.

    100 Force: Deal 25 SP damage when you deal damage. Does not work with aoe or splash. This must be done immediately after making the roll you want to enhance.

    200 Chain (You and Ally): Combine one of your next Standard actions with one tagged ally's next Standard Action of the same type (Attack, Defense, Support). Giving both actions Advantage. Must target the same enemy/ally or enemies/allies if aoe. Must be used on the initiator's turn, before rolling action. Your ally may choose to cancel the combo by not spending points on their turn. You do not get refunded if a chain is broken.

    400 Overaction: Use an additional Bonus Action (you may not double the same BA). This must be done before taking action.

    400 Cleanse: Remove all stacks of all curable ailments you currently have. must be done at the start of your turn before taking action or moving.

    500 Action Swap: Swap any action of your choice in your build to your current build sheet. This can be done anytime on your turn.

    500 Fortify: Negates your current Vulnerable state. This also brings Super Vulnerable back to Vulnerable. This must be done immediately after becoming vuln.

    600 Unite (You and Ally): Combine one of your Special Actions with one tagged ally's next Special Action of the same type (Attack, Defense, Support). Giving both actions Advantage. Sarina's retaliation was powerful, and the fire was unexpected, nearly catching Hanno offguard. Thankfully Ghast had its tentacles risen, partially blocking the fire while Hanno took the cover to recover. "Damn-"

Hanno hissed, thrusting his shield forward and feeling its energy starting to entangle around his skin while he slipped his hand into his pocket to pull out an apple, taking a ferocious bite of it to gather a second wind before charging in, throwing himself in a body slam to try and stagger Sarina's movements.

Seeing that @Herculean Drakecon had become protective of @Elesis Blackstone.

"Lassie! Keep Herc-man safe!"

Hanno tried to push his shield to protect the lizard man, however, Ghast seemed to struggle about it, moving to protect Elesis instead.

"Took a liking, huh, Ghast?" He huffed, scowling before charging in, trying to cover @Zelrius as well, for another strike.

Seeing hanno was low on health and still trying to help out really inspired him. This entire time he had put himself on the line which was something inspiring. Suddenly a whirlwind-like attack smacked the hulking figure but he managed to get out of the way somewhat. The staff attempted to find a purchase on his body but he muscled thru it. Using his body to knock the staff away for a moment as he grabbed his playful night. She had proved herself more than worthy of being struck with it. His UI would start to flash Hitstun but his metamorph form pushed thru it. His body forcibly shedding the skin in a huge flex of muscle. It was his turn to strike back and it was going hurt.

Rushing at her would quickly build power by twirling it around him and catching the end of it. In a display of absolute power and fierceness. Bringing down the weapon on her shoulder but he would pull back the power. Instead, keep the weapon in its place and attempt to force her into the ground. The weapon itself was a three-ringed staff that was made for a mountain of a man that was Herc. The weight of the weapon was meant to catch enemies off guard enough to allow them to keep applying pressure.

Too many targets for Sarina, and yet she unfortunately lacked the skills to predict the girl would turn into a whirlwind of pain with her staff to strike them all, the weapon was about to make it's way straight to her face and she could kisseth her ass good night after that.

Too fast for her to react, but when the impact happened Elesis yelped, as it wasn't herself who got struck but @Herculean Drakecon, who got right on the way as her croco savior clad in scales, and her eyes shun with worries as the wounds begun to pile up on the man. Even the flames from the redhead found no purchase as Sarina proved a little too elusive for everyone in the group.

Elesis pouted a little, blinking once @Hanno Futaba caught her attention with an order she was more than happy to follow, smiling over to the Faerin as she yanked her mug off her hip, the apple juice bubbling and foaming all over it's wooden surface. "At thy orders captain!" And with that, Elesis pulled out an extra souvenir for Herc to get a taste of, a crimson elixir far more average-looking within the flask, which she mixed up inside the mug. The alcohol would dilute a little with this, but taste was no one's concern right now...

"Has't a wend at t, t shouldst maketh thy scale-self feeleth like morn once again" Elesis offered the mug over for Herc to chug down, a momentary respite granted thanks to Ghast, who had grown particulary... Protective, given the faerin's remark, which made her turn heads to face him then the dissonant shield maiden with a grateful smile. "Thank thee, Ghast. I owe thee one after the present day"
