As soon as Yugam was hooked into the bet, the metamorph quickly grabbed her own tankard. "That's what I'm talking about." Taunting the man before she downed the drink, "No, you ARE going down!"

After finishing the beer, she tried to walk and take another mug, but Lune suddenly felt her body getting warmer, especially at her core. "Wait..." The woman looked at her hands, slowly but surely getting smaller, along with her whole body. "Am I at my limit?"

Quickly trying to finish at least one more serving, she poured the content into her mouth but her body couldn't take that much alcohol any longer. "No, no, no." She stumbled forward, the mug fell onto the ground.

As Lune tried to support herself with the table, she rapidly lost consciousness as the drunken state overtook her. "I want... samgyeopsal..." It was her last words before she slumped onto the cold ground.

For all that big talk, Lune did not last very long. She downed her drink with a worrying ease that definitely made Yugam think, just for a moment, that she was doing better than he'd initially thought. And then she stood up. And then she wasn't anymore.

"Haha! Suck it, Noona! Guess dinners on you next time," Yugam said with a smug grin, refilling his own mug just to seal the deal. The man lifted the drink to his lips, tilted his head back. And back. And back.

Crash! Yugam was on the floor, just like Lune. "I...think I gave myself alcohol poisoning..." Yugam bemoaned. Because no human being should be able to have twenty drinks and be ok after that.

While Vina had knocked herself out of the running by falling down in the final round, she was still fully aware of her surroundings. She could hear Ronja reaching her limit and falling down as well, the vixen giggling softly before her attention was pulled towards another. @Luthien had approached her and was offering her a hand. Vina smiled, then took the offered hand.

Thanks Luthien~ Just give me a moment...~

Luthien would quickly realise Vina weighed next to nothing, and the vixen also got up surprisingly quickly as if to mock how dramatically she'd fallen moments before. Closing her eyes Vina inhaled deeply, gathering her restorative energies before letting them flow into every part of her body at the same time she exhaled, curing the poison called alcohol almost instantly.

Phew! That's much better~ (She blinked and shook her head.) Been a while since I got that drunk.

As if she'd never been drunk at all Vina stretched, then looked around at the two who'd still been competing when she and the brunette had already fallen. Looking at their expressions she chuckled, then turned to face Luthien again.

We can go get some snacks, but I don't think we'll have to wait long before those two finish their fun~ Are you all right, by the way? (She raised a hand and wiggled her fingers.) I can cure you as well if you want. I'll be offering the same to the rest.

Noticing that the green-haired elf who'd quickly left the competition had returned and picked up @Ronja Bubblyfoot Vina waved at the couple, trying to draw their attention before calling out towards @Fiora Di Angelo.

Hey there~ I can cast Cure Poison on her if you want! I'd ask her, but... I'm not sure she'd hear me.

Ronja's performance had been more impressive than her own, but from the looks of it she'd also pushed herself more than Vina had. One of the vixen's ears twitched before she looked back towards where @Lune and @Yugam also reached their limit.

See Luthien? We didn't have to wait long at all~

The tension in the room was palpable as the final round began. There was not a sound as the competitors began to take their first drinks. The tension eased a bit, as the competitors continued their jovial banter, cheering, and toasting to one another as the drinks were downed. However, much of the tension was still there as bettors in the crowd counted the drinks that each competitor took, taking nervous glances at the scoreboard, and understanding what each drink meant for the score.

There would be a mixture of relief and worry, as the competitors all managed to clear their first round of drinks. Murmurs went through the crowd, commenting on how none of these people should be still even in this competition. Nobody seemed like they would last long this round, and these initial murmurs were proven right, as Vina was the first to go down in the final round.

She took her loss in stride, despite those bettors hoping for her loss letting out a raucous cheer at the actual possibility that their favorite could still win. Many of the Landers had put enough money on the line, that they didn't even attempt to hide their shame at cheering for someone else's loss in the competition.

But it all grew deathly silent again as the third round of drinks was delivered. The bettors knew, this was the last round that someone could drink and they still go down for Luthien to have a chance. All three competitors took their drink, and as Ronja slumped to the floor there was another raucous cheer from the crowd... until they realized that Yugam and Lune were still standing, and showed no signs of losing this drink. Well, in all actuality, Yugam appeared to be hanging on by a thread on this third drink, and there were so many bettors that wished they could simply push the man over and end it there, but it was not meant to be. Yugam held on, and despite very clearly being on the verge of not doing so. Yugam and Lune were served drink four, and both knocked it back, earning their last point, as both fell.

The crowd was silent as both of them fell. Nobody knew how to react. They had expected to cheer the last person standing on. For the bonus points to be handed out and that person be crowned the definite winner. But now, nobody was sure. People in the crowd were certain that they knew who had won, but it was a close race, and there was a lot of murmuring and nervous chatter in the crowd as the final scores were tallied by the bartenders who were keeping track of everything.

Before the final scores were put up on the board, staff came around to help the contenders get back to some semblance of normality with water and food for all of them. Even Tipsy was seen nursing a mug of water, though if anyone asked her she'd lie and say it was just more booze, as she ate a bowl of stew given to her. Despite it all, everyone seemed in high spirits after the competition had finally ended, even many of the bettors, who were too drunk to fully understand the gravity of how much money they may have lost at this moment.

The final scores were placed on the board, crowning Yugam as the winner by a single point, and the man was marched back into the center of the arena to be crowned the victor. Despite the many bettors upset at his win, there were plenty of cheers to drown out their grumbling, as they were happy that the competition had come to a close and that everyone had a great time. Yugam was presented with a small handmade trophy of a golden mug to show his victory, and a couple of younger girls in the audience came forth with a purple paper crown and an embroidered sash that read, "The Drunken King" on it, as the arena jovially cheered and toasted, and continued their drinking and celebrations.
