Afternoon
Sunny and Windy
It was a sunny and crowded afternoon at the Sweet Deer, a tavern that received its name after its tavernkeeper, a deer beastfolk, that despite her calmness on her expressions and smoothness on movements that at first glance didn't seem hurried, had to dart around the tavern to attend to the eager travelers.
A festival, or at least the slow build up to the start of one, was running outside the village, which had caught the attention of many that decided to stay by Honeyhome, one of the few peaceful towns that remained in the world that was filled with chaos.
It surprised Magnolia to see that scene, as she pushed the door open to see what was usually the most peaceful tavern she had been on, to be turned into a rather crowded party, with lively outsiders clanking their tankards together, and even a bard making sure the place would have a lively ambience, strumming his hands on an harp while he sang happily along with the others.
Magnolia turned around, tugging her cloak that hid most of her maid uniform, that she always kept on her even when she was out of duty.
Carefully, she searched for a free spot- With most of the tables filled, and the counter crowded by rowdy people, she soon found herself forced to approach a table that was partially empty, saving for one seat, that @eden was sat on. "Excuse me, madam." Magnolia tried to catch her attention, keeping an arm's length away from the table, not daring to be too bold. "Is it fine if I share this table with you? I'm afraid today is unexpectedly busy." Her voice bore no particular tone, not a hint of annoyance, nor it was amicable. It was just neutral, and polite.
