Seasonal Help: Autumn

There are all sorts of poultries that scream autumn. Turkeys, or satanic chickens as they're more commonly known in certain parts of the country, are one of them.

If you happen to wander around Solvale at this time of the year, you have likely come across a pinned poster at small Solvale villages of Protean Farm looking for helping hands.

It seems that their turkeys are experiencing a major bout of fall depression. Some female turkeys have no desire to brood, lay eggs, or take care of their eggs or their young. The farm is struggling to fulfill a massive order for the Solvalean Grateful Feast that happens every year in November.

If you would accept the farm's request for help, then it's time to roll up your sleeve and increase the population of satanic chickens. Are you up for the task?

Party Size: 2-4
Completion: Minimum 3 posts per person

Objectives
  • Figure out why the turkeys are depressed
  • Do something to lower the turkey's depression
Optional Mechanics: You may use these mechanics or ignore them and instead use the quest as a roleplay prompt! You can also make your own mechanics for your group.

  • Each person has 2 attempts at patching things up
  • Make a Quality Check (Mastery - Any) on cycle 2 (or later if you have a longer lead-up) to set yourself up for success. Beast Arts user may roll with an advantage.
  • If you don't like your result, you may push your luck and try again on a later cycle. However, you must stick with the second result. If you are content with your roll the first time, you may help one other party member narratively to give them an advantage on their attempt.
Results
  • Fail (0-19 / -1) Your attempt has led the turkey population to become lower than before.
  • Partial Success (20-49 / +0) Your attempt is lukewarm. You increased the turkey's population by a tiny bit.
  • Success (50-89 / +1) At the rate you're going, your and any other group's effort should lead to the farm being able to meet the bird quota.
  • Great Success (90+ / +2) You made the turkeys super happy, and as a result, their population has exploded. But, uh, if you keep going at this rate they are taking over the farm and establishing a new pecking order... with them on top.
End Score
  • 2P: min +1 to succeed, +3 to overachieve your goal
  • 3P: min +2 to succeed, +4 to overachieve your goal
  • 4P: min +3 to succeed, +5 to overachieve your goal
