Personality
Sakura, AKA Ruby, has a bit of trouble communicating with others. She's scared of making others upset at her, and she can't help but feel like others are a bit hard to approach. Her social issues are partially balanced out by her desire to help others. She sees Terrasphere as an opportunity to make new friends and have fun. Sakura generally tries to avoid conflict by running away from it, but having others around her comforts her enough to stand her ground. She'll try her best not to actively harm anybody, though.
Outside of Terrasphere, Ruby will generally avoid initiating conversation altogether. If somebody approaches, though, she'll at least attempt to talk to them.

Background
Ruby grew up as a fairly standard student. She attended school, studied a lot, and helped her parents maintain a garden in the front yard. She was never the best at school, but she did enough to comfortably pass all her classes. Her highest grades always ended up being in the art classes, a result of her hobby of drawing. Ruby never really talked to anybody through her schooling. She never wanted to bother anybody.
Fresh out of high school, Ruby was able to secure a part-time job working at a flower shop near her house. She was very quick to get used to the environment of the shop, but she had considerable trouble handling customers. Now, a few weeks in, she's a tiny bit more confident in her conversational skills.
One day, when Ruby was winding down after work, she noticed an email from one of the people she shared a class with in her last year of high school. Curious as to why this person would email her when they hadn't talked to her at all, or how they even got her email, she opened it. She noticed a QR code in the email which led her to a "Terrasphere". Intrigued at the prospect, she made a character.
