Amy was currently on a trip to Falderen to get some fruits.
It was something they had to do from time to time. Food wasn't exactly plentiful in Zalra, so crossing the border to Falderen to get some supplies was a semi-regular necessity.
Usually speaking, someone else would go... As in, someone who could actually see, but Amy insisted that she could do it, and that she wanted to do it.
The other nomads were worried, but Amy insisted enough until they trusted her with the task... Amy was glad. Amy was happy to be useful. She knew everyone else had better things to do than her anyways.
And so, here she was... Walking alone in a forest. Carefully moving her cane around until it hit a tree, then blindly moving her hand around the trunk until she could find a branch... Assuming she could reach any, and then moving her hand around the branch to see if she could find any fruit, hopefully one that she could recognize from touch, to be sure it was something that was safe to eat.
When she found a suitable fruit, she'd throw it into a basket and repeat the process. It was a very slow method of gathering, but Amy did not mind it. She had the time, and she was being useful for her family.
Of course, there was a risk of monster attacks, but Eastern Brisshal was much safer than Zalra, so Amy wasn't particularly worried about that. She was expecting this to be a pretty peaceful trip.
Right now, her biggest worry was... Getting this apple out of the tree. Her hand had reached it, and she was sure it was an apple from the texture, but... It was just a tiny bit too high up. She couldn't get a good enough grip on it to pull it out... Even after standing on the tip of her toes, Amy was still struggling... "Come on..." She muttered as she kept trying to pull and it kept slipping her hand.
