MINAH

She couldn’t help the light chuckle that escaped her lips at the banter that began between Fiora and Sed, the elf raising her hand to cover her lips before noticing the stern gaze the brunette elf shot to Kalpa. Crimson eyes strayed away from the party as they all made their way towards the outskirts, glancing over to Yugam now before the elf bumped her shoulder against his softly.

"Sorry…"

Her voice was barely above a whisper, an apologetic smile lingering on the ranger’s lips as she looked at the man. She could tell he was tired, not that the elf could blame him considering the long day they’d endured so far, and a part of Lúthien was sure Yugam would’ve declined Kalpa’s sparing invitation had it not been for Fiora and herself being eager to engage.

Finally a small area wide enough for their antics had appeared, far enough from Hovelis so as to not gather unwanted attention while also ensuring they weren’t dueling in the middle of the road that led to the village… not that the elf thought many people would be traversing it as the night came closer, but it was still polite to ensure they weren’t in the way of others. The wave Minah sent her direction was returned in kind, an amused gaze on her elven features as she observed the interactions of the brunette and white-haired players.

"Well, boys actin' like boys, right?"
"Hey, beats drunken tavern brawls at least."

Lúthien took a moment to access her UI inventory, the elf withdrawing her violin bow and quiver from storage before getting set up herself. Minah’s duel invitation arrived then, the blonde readily accepting it before whistling in praise as she watched the match between Yugam and Kalpa begin. "Alright Minah, ready when you are~" The violin was snapped into its bow formation, a playful wink sent to the fellow elf as Lúthien’s fingers softly grazed through various of the flethings within her quiver. Once the brunette confirmed she was good to go the blonde would quickly draw out one of the arrows, softly pressing it to her lips as the elf seemed to blow ever so slightly onto the head, and nocking it onto her bowstring.

The moment the arrow was allowed to fly freely a large gust of wind seemed to surround it, though Lúthien’s aim remained low—focusing instead on the ground by the girl’s feet to avoid any actual injuries. The moment the arrow impacted the soil the gale intensified, the wind currents quickly picking up and hopefully disrupt Minah’s vision as the blonde attempted to circle behind the brunette.

Yugam

Kalpa

"May the best fighter win,"
"I put my bets on you."
He quickly added, covering his eyes for a second as the girl next to him turned out to not just be a jealous little girl. She really IS his, in a similar fashion to his own weapon, albeit without all the flashiness a sentient weapon has- His only had a talisman hanging from the pommel, his own lucky charm.

He wanted to call this a two v one already, but that only made the fight all the more thrilling, and so once Yugam approached he pressed onwards, high stance preparing himself to deflect a strike he already caught the trajectory of. Fast, and yet slow. A good option, yet predictable in a sense, it was a bait he couldn't have seen coming, and he didn't with how fast the Hunter moved. In a moment's notice, there is no blade, no dark-haired opponent.

The next he's peeking behind him split of a second before tragedy, aka, getting smacked with Unmei's flat of the chest blade, which sent him stumbling forth as if enough strength had been done to make him lose balance, and right before his legs could give up, the man twisted on spot to reveal water clogged around his empty left hand, taking on a circular shape that soon springed forth with a sharp motion of his arm, a hydro whip sent straight after Yugam's right ankle, in hopes of tripping the man with one quick pull.

"You two make a great combo." He had to admit that much, given that flawless coordination these two pulled off on him.

MINAH

"Hey, beats drunken tavern brawls at least."
Minah snickered, giving a glance over to Sed, somehow 'drunken tavern brawl' sounded all too familiar to what the hunk had been doing as of late... They both shared glances, with Sed double checking to notice Minah IS looking at him, adverting his gaze to look to the front and play his fingers on the air, pretending he is using his UI (usually that worked, since others can't see other player's UI's anyways)

"You seem ready for these too." She pointed out with a glance back at her violin-now-bow. "Wish my staff turned into a triangle. That's literally all I know how to play." Embarassment flushed her cheeks. But to get over embarassment means to admit embarassing things, right? That's how it works? "R-right. Give me a second." Snapping out of her own mind, Minah took a deep breath, closing her eyes and re-opening them as magic begun to flow from the void-coloured pupils, each vein across her face turned black, prominent as if tendrils had coated the surface of her skin, and the woman pulled out a wooden staff as high as herself, clad on charms and clicking bones at it's top.

And so she begun to chant for a spell, as many bones begun to escape from under her robes and some from the very dirt even, piling one after another as they begun to take shape into that of a skeleton! Immobile, spooky, but surprisingly clean. The girl quickly opened her UI, clicking through several options at her inventory. Before Luthien could tell, the skeleton had a bowtie and a pair of dress shirt cuffs and a pair of gloves for his boney fingers.

"Ready!"

Perhaps summoning his trusty Ser B right now wasn't the smartest, not against a ranged opponent, but thankfully she aimed low and not to hurt her. Unfortunately, that didn't make a gale of wind any less bothersome for her eyes, less so when she got some dirt on her eye because of it!

"Madam that's very smart of you, yet I must say I have no eyes to make a mockery of." The skeleton's jaws parted to speak, and once Luthien took the initiative to move, and noticing his mistress way too busy rubbing her eyes, the servant rushed forth with surprising speed, glove at hand to use as a striking weapon. "Gentlemen Technique: Bitchslap." The refined undead butler called out, just as he swings his glove to try and do just that: bitchslap Luth with it, albeit keeping most of his strength tucked away, because obviously he is a gentleman and would not hurt an elven lady.

FIORA

SED

"Hey Romeo, still paying attention?" Fiora snapped her fingers back once Sed distracted himself over exchanging glances with Minah, and subsequently tried to hide it. The blonde grinned, shooking her head off wordlessly, something the man took notice of and looked almost offended at it.
"What, you got a problem with me or something?" He retorted, grave tone had him squeeze his claymore tighter. The mocking look on her eyes spoke volumes to him. Did she saw something? Did she took notice?
"Why don't you man up, come here, and say it to my face." Fiora gestured him with his finger to come closer, salacious were it not for the clear taunt vibes that had, and the man turned red at that, as if she had just disarmed him with words alone.

Fiora didn't waste a second more than that to rush in as soon as she accepted the duel invitation, crossing her arms as light begun to twist and blur on thin air, before a set of short axes showed up on both hands, the raw size of the heads almost made them look like made to behead, were they not blunt as per the rules of a 'friendly' duel. They still were thick enough to work as clubs, and that's what she used them for.

Sed couldn't see it coming, with little preparation given, he could only stretch his hand out to let his aura warp him on a golden barrier just as Fiora's axes descended upon him, shattering through with sheer weight alone and striking at the man's chestpiece, force enough to drop him onto his back. But that wasn't enough for her, and like a full berserker she jumped right after him, knowing his armor would certainly keep him safe from her blows.

What she didn't imagine is that he could still lift his greatsword and even block her twin strike with it.

"...Crush weapons?" She questioned, caught off-guard for a moment once Sed smirked back at her. The amber crystal at the center of the hilt begun to glow just then...

"Try again." He replied, far more confident this time, as divine magic blasted a shockwave that sent her rolling through the dirt twice the distance she did to him, as if somehow that didn't add salt to the wound enough that he got a hit on her.

"Alright." She wiped the dirt off her face and slammed her axes down to use as leverage to lift herself back up. "You asked for it, virgin." She frowned, clapping both of her weapons together twice, like a bull pawing at the floor.

"Why don't YOU come closer and say that again."

Kalpa

Unmei struck Kalpa's back with a heavy thud as he stumbled forward, the first blow of their match going to Yu. Around them, the others had begun their duels as well, though the sounds of Fiora and Sed mouthing off too each other rose above all other sounds. They were almost loud enough to distract Yu from his fight. Almost.

The whip of water had come as a surprise as the man sent the crystal clear liquid towards Yugam's feet. It was almost impossible to see it as it sped through the air towards the man, but he didn't exactly need to see to know that he needed to move his feet if he didn't want to get caught in the attack.

The man lifted his right foot, just in time as he heard Kalpa compliment them and the splash of water spray across the grass. Yu stomped his foot down, intending to catch the whip, and force his opponent to either switch strategies, or come closer.

Except this wasn't a normal whip. This whip was made of water.

'Babo!'

As soon as the man's foot stamped the earth, the water swelled and wrapped around his foot and ankle before it was sharply pulled back, taking the man's foot out from under him so suddenly that Yu found himself on his back and in pain. "Thanks..." the Hunter coughed as he got back to his feet. "Good move."

The man began to roll up his sleeve as he locked his sights on Kalpa, any emotion draining from it, replaced with a fierce focus. The bandages around his arm began to stain themselves red, the crimson color spreading to the edge until blood began to drip down the man's fingers. "Guess I gotta put in some real effort now."

The ground between them erupted into a field of crimson spikes, sprouting from the ground as they charged towards Kalpa.

MINAH

There was a puzzled look on the blonde as she watched the taller man do a double-take towards Minah, before Sed seemed to busy himself with the controllers of his UI—probably arranging the duel invate between himself and Fiora? However the soft voice of the fellow elven woman soon had Lúthien looking back at the brunette, blinking for a moment as she processed the words before chuckling softly.

"A-Ah, I was lucky enough to find someone in Finweald willing to entertain my crazy ideas," A faint blush colored her cheeks as Minah glanced at her custom weapon. "I play the violin IRL, and since it also has a ‘bow’ I thought it’d be interesting to mix it up in a design with one."

She couldn’t help but think her opponent was rather cute in an endearing way, before watching intently as Minah took her time getting ready. For a moment the elf couldn’t help the faint worry that crossed her features as the veins along the woman’s face darkened further, before various bones and skulls began to appear all around them as they slowly converged in a single point. Furrowed brows were soon raised in surprise and delight as Minah completed her enchantment and the skeleton companion came to life, before clapping in appreciation as the finishing touches were added from the brunette’s UI.

"Oh Minah, that’s amazing…! Ah, he looks so adorable too, that bowtie is just perfect!"

It was the first time she witnessed someone summon a creature to do their bidding, but she had to admit that Minah’s butler skeleton was definitely an instant favorite. Once the woman confirmed she was ready Lúthien had launched into action, her plan seemingly going as intended as the blonde began stepping towards the back of the spellcaster, before the words coming from an unexpected source caused the elf to trip and stumble as he hopped on her feet a few times to avoid face planting onto the ground.

"W-Wait… ¿qué carajos? He can talk too?!"

It gave the butler skeleton opportunity to intercept the ranger as she’d come to a stop, his glove at the ready before the summon attempted to—"Did you just said bitchslap?!"—Lúthien barely managed to jump back and out of the range of the creature, a light and airy laughter escaping the elf who was clearly amused more than anything by this particular summon that Minah was controlling.

"Easily top five best summons out there, hands down~"

Another arrow had found its way to her fingers, the elf bringing it close to her lips once more before seemingly humming a little tune quietly. It caused the arrow to quiver in response, and when nocked back into the bow a faint melody could barely be perceived as the magic began to gather and condense at the very tip. A quick sidestep was taken by the archer as she lined her targets, before the arrow was let loose as it whizzed past the skeleton before imbedding itself at the ground by Minah’s feet once more. Seconds later a loud screeching sound echoed through the same space that the arrow had used for its flight path, and with some luck Lúthien hoped she’d be able to startle the caster and her summon.

Yugam

Kalpa

The whip retracted back to his hand, just as the water simply flew behind his back, where a canteen hanged loosely from his belt. The man simply smiled, awaiting for Yugam to stand back up after a painful fall. It was a spar afterall, and equal terms is what he aimed for.

"I know right? Hydromancy's pretty flexible, my dearest pulled this one trick way too many times on me." He talked it away, waving a hand in dismissal, soon enough setting himself into a far more serious look once the man of dark locks proclaimed it was about high-time they got serious. The next seconds would be valuable, far too much to let any detail escape, and once blood begun to ran down his arm, Kalpa's eyes widened in realization.

Hemomancy... He echoed inside his mind, closing the gap between them was everything, and yet he couldn't do so in time. Droplets of blood reached the floor underneath Yugam, and spikes begun to protude in his path. Momentum carried him onwards, and there was no time to pivot around the multitude of blood pointy ends. They reached, and just as the last went after him, the man simply banished on a blink of an eye, as if he had never been there in the first place, jumping in time and space to return back to his former position. A large message popped up on their UI's, declaring the winner of the match, and the blood that dripped from his neck quickly sealed itself aswell as the wound, as if the spikes had not cut through in the first place.

That didn't make the experience any less shocking, given his erratic breathing that slowly begun to cease. "Phew, I can't believe I left myself wide open like that, now I feel like I made you waste your time." His left hand reached for his nape at that. "Phew, well that was quick, but I gotta admit you are hard to read." He commented, yet kept himself from adding anything else: He knew by the first second Yugam talked that he wasn't having any of it. Tired, or perhaps just not having a good day all in all.

MINAH

A violin player even?! Minah couldn't believe it, they could be doing a whole orchestra if only Sed was willing to play the trumpet... Snapping back to reality with a shook of her head, Minah's lips quickly parted "Violin?! Woah, yeah that's way better than a triangle. Didn't expect to find a musician." Awestruck voice rolled out the compliments, as her own cheeks flustered once her keen eye took notice of the other's embarassment. "Hope it's not a touchy subject, because I think it's really cool that you are." She added, with a bit more confidence in her words now, assenting with her head.

"Oh Minah, that's amazing…! Ah, he looks so adorable too, that bowtie is just perfect!"

Oh but she wasn't ready for Luthien to reply in full to her compliments, that alone had her face turned red like lava, and even Sir B reacted by clearing his throat, despite having no means to exhale air or need to, the bonelord nodding in such an old fashioned way one didn't need much to tell him apart from the people of the present day with how formal he seems. "In behalf of my liege and myself: Thank you, Madame Luthien. I'm only ashamed I wear not a pinch of clothing. Despite the lack of flesh, It embarasses me greatly to be this expose-."

"W-Wait… ¿qué carajos? He can talk too?!"

"Language, madame Luthien!"
The butler merely scolded despite the clear usage of a different language, but his desire for formalities only gimped his ability to retaliate. A second of a doubt, and the ranger was gone from his reach, forcing him to straighten his posture and adjust his bowtie once again.

"I'm sorry I can't make him shut up..." Minah clenched his fists, fearful for a second until quite the hearty laughter escaped from her elven foe, and confusion bred on her bossom.

"Easily top five best summons out there, hands down~"

Words barely escaped her mouth into a babbling mess, which in turn made her summon stare daggers back even if he had no eyes, those hollow sockets just spoke a hundredth. Clearly unlady like to babble like that!

"Ehem. Thank you very much, madame Luthien. However, we should proceed with our spar." A pinch of nerveousness even rattled the poor butler's bones. He wasn't used to so many compliments, specially one as powerful as THAT last one. The fight thankfully resumed but not in their favour as Luthien begun to pull his bow in the faintest of melodies, and an arrow flew past sir B, whose hand stretched out to intercept the arrow mid-air, failing entirely and getting Minah to hop on her feet no sooner than that.

The screech, a wail from the living that tortured their minds and had B's head spinning, quite literally on it's own axis as the skeleton struggled to keep his head still, and Minah dropped to one knee, hands over her ears, whimpering for a moment before reaching out for the arrow and setting it ablaze with pyromancy, the trail of magic igniting along it's way and tracing back like a liquid fire towards the shooter, in hopes of splashing her with a bit of said liquid, albeit the cold flame wouldn't burn as hot as the real deal, either by inexperience or her own restraint.

That is, if it even manages to reach Luthien.

FIORA

SED

She would bite the bait this time around and charge in, cracking her neck right before doing so, arms crossed on a X shape infront of her and readying herself to strike down Sed in one final blow. Yet the man himself did not stand still, the stoicness on his features responded to her anger with a bull rush of his own, greatsword dragging over the floor on a low stance this time around. When it looked like their fight would reach it's zenith and their bodies would crash one with the other, so they prepared their next move.

Fiora went for a feint on her cross slice, switching trajectory to aim lower. At this speed the chances he guesses right would be unlikely, specially to which leg she would aim for, yet the reach of her weapons put her at disadvantage, and most importantly, Sed was not about to keep to strictly martial prowess.

His swing piled up the dirt and sent it straight to her face, blinding her quite literally for a few moments as blurry, double vision left her not only disoriented but with stingy pain all over her eyes as she blinked several times, way more than she should have when facing an opponent of his size. Sed's blade dropped across her chest with the fuller of the weapon, so to send the woman backwards with that ferocious blow that almost took claim of the air in her lungs. Entirely, that is.

By sheer spirit she stood on her two feet, not willing to bend the knee, instead switching weapons into a shield & spear combination, the towering hunk of magic that ressembled iron hefty, and limiting in movement, but just as protective as one would expect, with the blunt tip of her spear serving her on this new posture, ready to counter-attack on her next move.

"I thought I 'asked for it'. I don't see you doing anything." Sed smirked, his own ego almost reaching the imaginary rooftop above them.

"Shut the FUCK up and fight." Her mood dropped down to hell and beyond, her frown left a borderline murderous expression across her features, which Sed picked up quick enough.

Something told him he just had to hold the line and keep his head cool to win, specially against a woman with a broken pride like this one. Just one more good hit, that's all he needed.

The field of deadly thorns tore through the earth violently, and in an instant, the fight had ended. There was a great fanfare (well, as great as a UI with no audience could muster) and Kalpa rubbed the nape of his neck where on particularly nasty spike had lanced him.

"Don't worry about it too much," Yu told the man as Unmei returned to her human form beside him. "You fought well," the Hunter said honestly as the pair approached the other. The other man's weapon was a peculiar one, and one that afforded him a great deal of flexibility that nothing Yu wielded could afford him on their own. It was one of the reasons he was so often heavily armed, and why he'd chosen hemomancy over other magical masteries. He preferred flexibility and versatility, something that Kalpa had already achieved.

The distance closed between them, Yu went to shake the other man's hand before he looked down at his still blood-soaked hand. "Oh," he chuckled sheepishly before switching to his left, unbloodied hand. "Thank you for the good fight."

MINAH

"Language, madame Luthien!"
"Oh shit, sorry—wait, fuckaaah!"

She hadn’t expected the animated skeleton butler to actually chide her over the ranger’s colorful language options, much less one on a different native tongue from the one Ser. B used—so when the scolding came the blonde actually panicked as a string of words, and curses, tumbled from her lips followed by an exasperated and frustrated cry before Lúthien decided to just shut up for the time being. Until the skeleton had proceeded to name his technique, that is.

"H-Hey wait, that’s not fair—you were scolding me over language a moment ago!"

Whatever else she wished to argue had to be placed on hold however as a burst of fire quickly trailed back towards the archer shortly after Minah managed to combust the screeching arrow. Nimble feet managed to carry Lúthien away from the flames in time, before the magical fire seemed to reach its limit and fizzled back out. "That’s a pretty cool trick, Minah! Here, I’ll show you one of mine~" The sounds of scuffling to one side meant that Fiora and Sed were still in battle, however she’d caught the end of the conversation as Yugam thanked Kalpa for a good match and—more importantly—the sloshing sound coming from the waterskin the man had on him.

An open palm was pointed in that direction, the elf allowing her magic to concentrate and focus on the cool liquid found within, before a swift movement from her wrist had the water popping the cork open before the liquid was drained away from the skin as it flew towards the ranger. Her movements were fluid and practiced, the motions easily guiding the water through the air as it bent to the blonde’s whims before Lúthien attempted to whip the skeletal butler on the rear with it.

MINAH

Of course, when given a rightful scolding, the young lady just busted into more cussing! He sighed off gentlemanly. It didn't surprise him in the slightest, at least until a retort came his way at the usage of his noble techniques and their naming conventions. A fair assumption he deflected quite non-chalantly.

"Blame my mistress for that name." The butler replied, raising his right hand up to his chest, voice far more apologetic than implicative.
"You jerk stop dropping the blame on me!" Minah snapped, tapping her staff on the ground, and only then finally picking up to Luthien's compliments. She wouldn't be so easily distracted by these this time around, but she did watch awestruck while Ser B had to do all the job of preparing himself for an incoming blow.

Water begun to escape out of Kalpa's waterskin, the man just didn't notice in the slightest until the sound of these calm waters simply shifting across the air had him frown and turn around. "Hey come on I just had a refill at the inn!" He huffed, yet he couldn't help but smile after that. It just had to be karma for him and the plenty of times he's done this to poor Sed, right?

If only the big bulky man could see it, but he seemed too entangled on his own brutal fight against that knightess of this group...

Ser B. reacted almost instantly, stars shining within his hollow eyesockets as he swiftly turned around, his ribs breaking off his body and quickly re-shaping themselves through animancy, until they formed a weapon... A bucket! The bucket captured the whip, absorbing the water into it as a container, and soon, bubbles begun to foam within it.

"Ma'am, you have cussed enough, it is time for me to wash your mouth with water & soup!" He proclaimed, riding the high of his voice like prince charming himself!
Minah almost facepalmed on spot, stone-like features and half-lid eyes lazily focused on her summon "Soap... It's called soap."
"Indeed my lady! Indeed!"
He beamed, right as he took aim and yanked the bucket forward, sending the bubbly water (apparently that had soap on it) towards the elven ranger...

"She's not half bad either. Poor Minah though, she's kind of a newbie still." Kalpa crossed his arms, shooking his head off just a little. "She will learn. This is the best way to prepare someone for Terrasphere. Can't have newcomers just throw themselves into the outside world nowdays. It has gotten... Way too dangerous." And the many areas that surrounded Eastern Brisshal only got worse and worse.

It had turned out into a full frontal assault between the two knights, axes against greatsword, divine against arcane. One would say magic vs faith, but these were not landers and faith didn't necessarily count as an abstract entity excluded from the concept of magic. Divine 'magic' is called as such for a reason.

Yet meanings were besides the point, and their clash turned out to ignore defense entirely, opting for a full on offensive. Fiora's axes struck his sides together, blunt ends painful enough to make him groan out. Even all that padding had to bend the knee against the ferocious raw power of a crushing weapon. Yet his greatsword didn't stray behind, as the man replied with a furious series of strikes, holding the blade with his left hand to half-sword his way against a proper knight in armor like the blonde.

In the end, their weapons did one final strike against eachother, yet the ones to shatter were Fiora's, the arcanamncy just unable to hold true against real steel, the shock and surprise in her face had her backpedal in hopes of charging back up with a new weapon, yet Sed pushed on with a fierce kick to the chest to send her on her back right as she chanted the spell, and he took this opportunity to rush in, just as she tried to stand back up, and place the tip of his blade against her neck, forcing her to freeze on spot as the notification popped up, with her shooting glares back up at him.

"What's... What's with the glare." He said between loud breaths that had his chest heave just a little.

Yet she didn't answer, and the back of her hand quickly swatted his sword away to get herself back up to her feet.

Kalpa, at the distance, just watched and nodded approvingly at the man for a solid performance.

Water began to flow out of the waterskin that Kalpa wore, drawing both their attentions over to Luthien and Minah as Kalpa protested at the loss. Yu couldn't help but allow a faint smile to form on his lips though as he watched the pair duke it out. Despite being technically outnumbered, Luthien was winning, and quite handily. The man felt a small swell of pride for his girlfriend. Kicking ass and taking names, he'd expect nothing less from her.

Yet, the other battle wasn't going nearly as well for Fiora as blow after blow rang out in the dark of night, the metallic clang of steel echoing like a cacophony of poorly shaped bells. Yu crossed his arms as he watched the two warriors duke it out, just as a brief glow emanated from Yu's hip as Unmei left her sword form with a yawn, stretching her arms high above her head before crossing them and leaning against her wielder, closing her eyes. Yu made little note of the girl as he turned towards Kalpa instead, "So uh...who do you think'll win between those two?" the man asked. "They're pretty evenly matched, eh?"

A loud crack echoed through the night air, drawing Yu's attention back to Sed and Fiora, who now appeared to be weaponless, save for the shattered sword in her hand. Sed pushed forward mercilessly, kicking Firoa to the ground and placing her beneath the tip of his blade as the Victory banner flew into the air with Sed's name on it. "Nevermind."

MINAH

"Hey come on I just had a refill at the inn!"
"Sorryyy~"

The apology that was clearly anything but tumbled out of her lips when the white haired man called out upon realizing his water had gone missing, a cheeky grin on the girl’s face before she’d turned her attention back to Minah and Ser B. as the ranger prepared to whip the skeleton… except he managed to outwit her when the butler shifted its shape to that of a bucket.

"... it is time for me to wash your mouth with water & soup!"
"Water and soup? Wait, does he mean…?"
"Soap... It's called soap."
"Indeed my lady! Indeed!"
"Pffft—oh shit!"

A pout had crossed her features for just a few moments when her attack had been avoided, before the skeleton’s words had the archer tilting her head to the side in confusion. Her open question proved to be right on the mark as Minah corrected Ser B.’s choice of words, not that the butler seemed too bothered or concerned about it. Their dynamic was interesting and fun to watch, the ranger barely stifling a laugh before the animated bag of bones turned in her direction and attempted to utterly soak the elf with soapy water.

"Oh no, nonono!"

At least the blonde didn’t have to guess what was coming, the lithe elf quickly jumping to the side even as she blew out the air in her lungs with everything she had. The motion connected with her magic, the gust of wind produced enough to veer the directions of the contents away from their battlefield… though Lúthien didn’t exactly pay attention to whatever new direction the magical water was now discarded to.

A hand reached for one of the arrows in her quiver next, purposely allowing the hairs on its side to interact with her bowstring and generate a melodic note. It served as an anchor for her magic, another tune soon echoing through the space, before the arrow was released to strike close to Ser B.’s feet. The moment it hit the ground the soothing tune turned to another sonic screech, one that Lúthien hoped would finally put an end to their match—fun as it was the elf was beginning to feel the beginning signs of minddown starting to stir in her head, and she wasn’t keen on suffering one of those again any time soon.

Kalpa had his own share of pride, chest puffed out as his friend managed to get the final blow on their own knightess, and actions spoke louder than words in regards to Yugam's questions. However, the silver-haired daredevil felt like just a victory on a spar wouldn't do justice to his abilities. Not really. So he vouched, just like any good friend would!

"Sed's a good guy. A good player too, he is pretty good at close quarters. Not sure what drives him- Well I do, but If I told you, Minah would shove her boot up my ass. And I ain't dealin' with a mad little sister." He lightly chuckled, eyes darting back towards the caster, if only to make sure she isn't peering at them. It's hard to get rid of his sister's gaze, as if she always knew what he's thinkin' or saying, but this time apparently it turned out different...

Sed, having offered a hand for her, found his offer turn down with not a word nor gesture to match. The elf just stood back up and marched back to the fuckboy duo and sword girl, making sure to keep well out of range for the last battle still going on.

"Man, you sure are a pain to deal with..." Sed said, moreso to himself than Fiora, but the woman just kept quiet, like a cobra waiting to strike at the right opportunity, grayed out glare shuffling over to these three, with Kalpa acknowledging the woman with a light-hearted thumbs up shut down by silence. And then he gave Yugam that 'Damn who twisted her panties?' look on his face.

A part of Minah just wanted to laugh at the irrational fear Luthien had to water and soap. On the other hand... That's magical water and soap that probably stings like wasps, yet once Ser B attacked, that bucket and splash alike found none on it's target, as the elven archer moved away with impressive speed, and she soon picked up momentum herself, utilizing her summon as a screen to give less of an angle to get shot at, at least in the nice way Luth has been doing so compared to other archers she met. Good thing pain sensations were off for her.

Unfortunately, the butler didn't get to cover his eyesockets in time, nor his ears. Having done the wrong guess made the difference between ending up a skull on the floor or survival, and in his case, his entire calcium based form trembled to that screech, his body shook, rattling along before disarming itself entirely, crumbling into no more than a pile of bones with a skull on top of it.

"Ah! This but a flesh wound, madam. I can still fight so long as I have teeth." He admitted, ectastic from the battle, as his voice that roared like drums and carried the strength of an army's warcries... Yet that's as best as he could do right now, and to that Minah just sighed off, a hand reaching to stroke her forehead.

"I can't keep this dum-dum for long, my head's starting to hurt." And a bit of a nosebleed started to pour out of her right nostril, something that stopped as soon as her connection with Ser B was shattered completely and the boney assistant turned to nothing but dust. The veins across her features and hands finally fell to obscurity. "Haa, finally I'm feeling better." Minah sighed off, and the woman turned back to face Luthien with a quiet, if repressed smile.

"It was pretty fun, thanks Luthien! At least I learned a trick or two, and you got to meet one of my best friends in this weird gam-"
"Yeah you were amazing Minah... Even if well, you lost, but you were real good!"
Sed finally interjected, clearing his throat once more to try and get himself somehow out of that awkward situation, to which Minah just folded her arms against her bossom and stared back at him. "I mean it I swear!"

"Oh well, guess I have to believe you."
She retorted with a quaint little smirk on her features, one Sed stared at for longer than he should, but the man could not quite discern what it meant, and his mind only had the most extreme of thoughts at the moment.

'Maybe it's a hint? Ugh, I don't understand women enough to assume that'

"Well well, I guess you got us three beat two to one. Usually we would make Sed fight you all but, I think it's wrong to keep you all for longer. So you won!" Kalpa proclaimed, spreading his arms to the entire group infront of him. Minah clapped, fairly low at that but if only to add some energy to the silver scoundrel's antics. Sed, on the other hand, just seemed lost in a cloud made out of his own imagination.

Yu could do little more than snort in light amusement at Kalpa's mention of his little sister, Minah, shoving her boot up his ass. Given what little Yugam actually knew about the two, he wouldn't doubt that she would do that.

Unsurprisingly though, when Sed had offered Fiora a hand up, she had ignored him completely, standing up on her own with a huff, like the strong independent elven woman that she was. For some reason, Sed looked at Yu like the man would have all the answers as to why Fiora was the way Fiora was. Yu drew his lips into a thin line in response, his eyebrows rising slightly as if to say 'welcome to my life'. Fiora was a mystery to him still, something the man was certain she put great effort into maintaining.

Soapy water splashed at Yu's feet as Luthien diverted whatever weird attack it was that the skeleton had tossed towards her. It took little more than a quick strum of her strings for Luthien to finish the fight from then, the skeleton being reduced to a pile of bones before returning to dust.

Yu smiled at Luthien. Though he remained far more reserved in Fiora's presence than when she had beat Connington at his own game, he still wore the same smile as he had then, full of pride and happy for the elf's victory.

Kalpa's voice drew Yu's attention once more, and the man moved to stand opposite the three challengers, Unmei pouting at him for a moment, having almost fallen when he moved. Yu stood next to Luthien and Fiora before he bowed towards Kalpa, once again saying "Thank you for the match."

A sigh of relief escaped the elf upon seeing her last arrow achieve its goal, the butler's skeleton frame vibrating in sync with the screeching sound before finally crumbling into a pile of bones and a talking skull. "Ah! This but a flesh wound, madam. I can still fight so long as I have teeth." She couldn’t help the faint chuckle that escaped her lips then, the animated being was quite the lively character considering their natural state, but a quick glance towards Minah confirmed that keeping him around any longer was straining the fellow elf.

"Be sure not to overdo it, minddown can be quite a pain and a half."

She offered the brunette a friendly smile as the archer snapped the bow out of its combat configuration, returning its shape to that of a violin before quick hand movements across her UI screen had it disappear to the vacuum depths of her inventory.

"It was pretty fun, thanks Luthien!”
"Yeah, this was super cool! I’m glad my first PvP duel was against Ser B. and you, you’re both amazing~"
”At least I learned a trick or two, and you got to meet one of my best friends in this weird gam—”

Before their conversation could progress any further a third had entered it, cutting Minah’s words and receiving a glare from Lúthien though the blonde kept any comments to herself. Instead her eyes trailed over to her own teammates, falling first on the sudden quiet and distant form of Fiora. Ah… I see. Right, this burly man had been her opponent and—when taking into account Sed’s currently chatty disposition against the look on Fiora’s face—it seemed the knightess hadn’t fared well in her own match. For a moment the archer considered reaching out to her, before the thought was soon shelved away when Lúthien couldn’t think of what to say that might lighten the taller woman’s mood.

After all this was the first time she was meeting Ari’s IRL roommate, and aside from the few things here and there the man had mentioned about Nico she really didn’t know the girl enough—the last thing Valeria wanted was to accidentally upset her further by saying the wrong thing. Instead her gaze shifted over to Yugam and Kalpa, a wide and sunny grin on her face as she gave a thumbs up in the hunter’s direction before approaching. It was then she noticed Unmei, the sword spirit leaning closely against Yugam, and she couldn’t help but arch one eyebrow up in silent questioning.

Huh, that’s a bit odd… I wonder if other spiritual weapons are this touchy, or maybe that’s just one of different programmed personalities available to them by the game devs?

Food for thought for another day really, especially when the smile on Yugam’s lips quickly drew her attention over to him instead. It caused a soft rosy tint to spread on her elven cheeks, though the ranger kept herself more reserved around the presence of the others as her steps brought her closer to the gathering group as Kalpa spoke. She followed Yu’s lead when the man stood across from the white haired adventurer that had first approached them, and when the man came to stand besides her Lúthien couldn’t help but lean in just enough so their shoulders bumped against one another. A cheeky grin crossed her lips for a few moments as she looked into his eyes, before she gave a little curtsy of her own in Minah’s direction.

"Yeah, we should do it again sometime if we’re ever in the same area~"

Yet when it looked like they all had forgotten about it, Kalpa didn't. And it's true, because they won fair and square...

"Now, I said I would give ya' all something worth the trouble, so I'll do just that." His mannerisms nor tone seemed any different than earlier, just as much of a charisma devil. Yet Minah could tell once the man pulled from his front pockets - The ones he kept for valuables only - That the reward isn't just simple pennies worth of an encounter.

What came out of it ressembled a dagger, made out of volcanic rock and pulsating with a faint purple hue within it's hilt. However, the weapon is completely blunt, even the pointy end isn't exactly that threatening, and that should be note-worthy given it's material.

"Are you really handing that one over, Kalpa?" Sed jumped straight to intercept him with a glare. For all they knew, this thing had more value than it should be, and the man's stories didn't make it any less unappealing as a quest to undertake.

Minah, in all this, just watched quietly. Already used to disputes, but at the same time she felt relief in her brother dropping that thing away even after how much he stressed to piece the story together... Which only meant he had to be up to something.

Fiora tensed at the sight of that one familiar artifact. Did Kael handed that over to this guy, or do they both know eachother? Before any conclusions such as thievery would cross her mind, the knightess just shared a glance back to Luthien and Yugam. Poised with resolve, if not a bit too ready to unsheathe an actual weapon right now with how dagger-like her eyes were.

Kalpa just chuckled and pointed the dagger at Sed, at a safe distance that is. "Come on, you were the first that wanted to get rid of it in the first place." These words shut the knight off, and the silver devil turned his eyes back to the three infront of them.

"A week or so ago a friend of mine in the Explorer's league, found this in the depths of a mine near Honeyhome. Told me he barely made it out alive when two women saved his backside." He begun spinning the tale with a rather critical look on his face for the group. "This is a key, even if it doesn't look like it, and recently he found the entrance to Vana Archives. Strange enough, he sent me the key and told me he didn't want to deal with it anymore." A frown, perhaps the first he's ever shown to them, finally came to him.

"He's not the type of kid to give up. He's smart and resourceful, but something scared him away. Figures, he is a Lander so he could have died down there." A bit of rambling over it, Kalpa finally flipped the 'key', grasping it by the edge and passing it over to Yugam.

"I won't say this is the last time you'll see us, and that this can be sold to fetch a price, but give me a week or so to get the archive's entrance out of him and I'll send it over to you if you are interested. Best case scenario you find nothing but books, that are still a pretty coin in Terrasphere. Worst case, you find the gate of Vana'Metsa..."

Kalpa paused for a second, if only to use her palm menu once again. After a bit of fiddling with it, Yugam, Luthien and Fiora would all receive a friend request from him. "I'll keep you added just in case. Gotta stick together with good people eh?" He teased, and only now Minah's eyes snapped open at the realization of what he did, frantically opening her menu to send a friend request to Luthien.

"Yeah! Would love to hear you more of you three. Keep in touch, please?" She added, tapping her weird staff on the floor a few times, enough to let it sink a bit through the dirt.

Sed, as part of his tough guy act, just couldn't send a friend request. Not like it mattered, Minah and Kalpa covered it already!

"Either way, I wish I could sit down and fill you in the details, but we really gotta log off. At least Minah and I gotta cook dinner tonight so!"
"-I- am cooking, you are passing me the ingredients."
"That's our cooking duo."
He winked back at her, right before setting eyes on Yugam and stretching his hand out to him...

"Nice fight."
