If there was one thing anyone knew about Alia, it was that she was protective. Her husband had all but worn himself out to near brink of death. She had come in right as everything had ended. She had dragged his sorry ass off to a resting tent and stayed by his side making sure that he remained where he was until she was called away by another who needed her help. She was a nurse on the outaide and a enough of a healer or rather at leasr knowledgeable enough to help the others.

When she returned to @Seto Kurama 's tent her eyes went dark only for a split second and then a smirk came over her face. She wasn't exactly too angry but he had gotten up with out doctor's consent. She shook her head well aware of where he would have run off too and hoping that King Astor himself was well enough to deal with them both. By now the King shoukd know where one was the other would follow. As a wife it was not only her duty but her want to support her husband. It was also her duty to protect what was precious to her and to him.

As she approached the king's tent she saw him. She moved up to touch his shoulder. "Minister why did you not inform me and why did you leave without me?" There was a hint of you are so in trouble later in her voice but the words were also said with love. "Did you have any trouble walking here?"

After a few minutes had passed, he was beginning to wonder what Astor was doing in there. He could have been resting, which was fine, he could come back later, but If he didn't want to see him, he could have simply told him. That was one thing but If he was doing....something else in there? With a subtle grown, his eyes rolled at the thought. If Ilusa was in there, upto her old tricks, he was gonna kill her. She have plenty of time to procreate with the King later, even if the making of a heir was vastly important for the future of the kingdom. He had thought of distancing himself and maybe grabbing a bite to eat when he suddenly heard a very familiar, feminine like tone call out for him from behind. "Mister, why did you not inform me and why did you leave without me???" Immediately, he froze up, his hairs standing up high, his body beginning to sweat, he knew that voice alright, It was none other than his wife. It seemed he was caught.....much to his distain, though It wasn't as If he had aimed intentionally to leave her out of what he was going to do next. He was simply used to doing things on his own. Regardless, that didn't prevent him from adverting from her gaze with a nervous chuckle, and as he did, he ended up inadvertently caressing the edge of his cheek with his index finger.

Hehe....uhh...sorry about that...I just....well...all I could think about was our future plans and well.....I thought now was a good idea to ask the King. Sorry...dear, It wasn't my intention to leave you behind. I kinda just did it without thinking. With the exception...of some of our retainers, I'm used to do things on my own.

A few moments would pass before he would calm down. Once he did, he made a heavy sigh before turning in @Alia's direction, just as she If he had made the journey alright. Smiling, he nodded his head before resting one hand on his hip. As he spoke, his serious demeanor returned but unlike how It was usually, gentle undertones could be heard as he spoke.

No, thanks to you. I'm still not at one hundred percent but It can't be helped with how many wounded there is. There simply isn't enough healers to go around at the moment, not that's it really a concern for me. I've endured far worse...I'll live....especially If I have you at my side......I can always heal myself later anyway when my body back up to speed. Until than, I'll just take it easy.

Alia watched as Seto froze up and she almost had to stifle a chuckle. She wasn't actually mad. She knew as well as anyone else and probablt more so that he was used to doing things on his own and he said as much. As @Seto Kurama spoke a smile began to form on her face. "I am sorry, my love for making you do it by yourself so often. I am not angry but you do know how i worry. Even if others don't always see it." When a battle had to be won and libes of innocents were on the line Alia could be seen as a bit more of an ice queen, heartless, and cold. In times of peace she was not though. She was practical that was all.

She was glad that he was okay. She moved up to give him a quick hug and kiss. It wasnt like there were many people who would see the small display of affection anyway. Astor had not said anything so she spoke again. "It would seem our King is taking his time. Perhaps I should take a look at him too. I do hope that he is alright."

He found himself laughing quite a bit when his wife made concerns for the King's wellbeing. It looked as If she had either forgotten or didn't know Ilusa. He couldn't fault her for that, but had his wife known her, she would know better than to ask that question. As a consequence, this sparked him to make another smirk as he spoke up.

Oh I wouldn't concern yourself with that dear. If I'm right....or If it's just my luck, I wouldn't be surprised if the future "Consort" was with him right now. Trust me, there's no doubt she would definitely make him "indisposed" at the moment, given the fact she hasn't seen him in a long time. As much as a part of me would like to fault her, I cannot. After all, I did give her my word I would get her to Astor in one piece. I'm just hoping she won't be glued to his hip like the last time.

After having his fun, his expression and demeanor changed to something more serious

In all seriousness, she is a well capable healer. If I can trust her with my own life, than I can entrust her with the King's life. He most likely just over fatigued like myself from the battle. If It wasn't for his own magic, me and the others would have had it much more difficult. There's no doubt in my mind more would have died had he didn't...

Remembering than what his wife had said, about not being able to be there for him as much, he tilted his head slightly towards the ground and closed his eyes. It was clear he was trying to hold back his sorrow. Why was she apologizing? If anything, she should be concern or even angry. Instead of doing his duties as a father and sensei to his students, he was often here, performing his "other" duties. Was his wife really that forgiving? Or understanding of his thoughts? But how? How could she be ok with him abandoning Tsuruhime in favor of aiding those here? Who may not even exist? It was a question he didn't have an answer to, but that didn't stop him from eventually speaking. When he mustered the courage, he rose his head and stared at her with eyes of an almost broken conviction

If I'm being honest....I don't know how you can say that...Shouldn't you be angered by the fact I often put our family, friends and even students second....compared to the responsibilities I've taken up here? While I consider these people real, and worth dying for, I can understand while you and the others may not. It weighs heavily on my mind, knowing I often find myself at odds regarding on how best to spend my time. To prioritize my time between Tsuru and the people here who need me. I want our daughter to grow healthy and strong....yet I cannot abandon my responsibilities to the people here I've sworn to protect...

Alia had for thr moment forgotten about the future consort. Perhaps because she had not been paying close attention, although that would be a lie. It was merely due to the fact that @Seto Kurama was her main priority. It was not that she did not pay great attention to details and what Seto told her when they were together at home in the real world. Daddy's exploits here made for wonderful bedtime stories that their little one asked for now. She wanted to be a part but was too young. Alia had duties as a mother and as a helper in all things outside this world but she also knew what her husband found in this world worthy to protect after all the hardships in the real.

She forgot about all things when they kissed and embraced showing the intimancy without care for others. She gave a nod once he was finished speaking and she noticed his shock at her apology to him. She listened as he turned serious and spoke. She took a moment to gather her thoughts. "My love, the real world is safe in my hands. Do you remember when we first met here in the game and then in the real world. Remember my telling you my wishes there? So many of them have come true. We have come a long way fighting side by side with eachother. Here this place is our escape from there but we also built a life here and have those we wish to protect. I am concerned and would like more of you outside the game. And i can not claim to fully understand your mind. But, i know who i married. I know what has happened. I want to help you and sometimes i feel through the this place I can. Our daughter loves the stories of Seto's adventures what i can tell her. She giggles at the silly things that have happened. The students know its not been easy on you and they are patient. If by some means your duties here eventually help you there it will all have been worth it."

Alia hugged him again. She just wanted to be of more help in any way she could in or outside of the game bevause of everything that had happened to her and her family and his. The family they were building outside this world she could take care thanks to him as well.
