Somewhat strangely, Honeyhome was one of the locations that Mystia managed to completely miss when she first logged into the game and started exploring around. That's what she got for getting off the beaten patch so much! But at the very least, it meant that she got to gather part for her mech. Speaking of, the 10-feet tall machine was drawing in quite the crowd. If one were going through Honeyhome, it would be hard not to notice the blue-colored construct standing by one of the houses as if it was a street performer ready to start their act.

"REPEATING: THIS UNIT IS NOT MEANT FOR ENTERTAINMENT. PLEASE, DISPERSE. PLEASE, DO NOT USE THIS UNIT AS AN OBJECT FOR CLIMBING PRACTICE—!"

As the mechanical male voice rang out, the poor thing would do its best to carefully remove the small children trying to climb its legs and safely put them on the ground again. Once people figured that the giant mech wasn't a threat, they turned it into entertainment instead.

"WHAT SIN HAVE I COMMITTED TO BE AFFLICTED BY THE ATTENTION OF CHILDREN?!"

Just as it complained, though, the door to the building swung open, and out came a fae with a bag in her hand. Turns out Mystia was here with her mechanical friend because she wanted to do some shopping.

"Alright, that's all!"

Ryou was walking down the cobbled streets of Honeyhome with @Kat Otsu. They were talking about whatever else before Ryou paused, looking up. She saw the giant mech and her eyes widened. She had never seen anything like that, especially when she could be this close. She frowned, it seemed upset. She dragged Kat along as she began to gently scold some of the children about how they shouldn't mess with things that aren't theirs. Ryou had become a lot more motherly, especially as her coldness mellowed out. She told them to shoo. She gave Kat a sharp look, knowing she too would want to climb on this giant.

"Um... excuse me, I'm very sorry that they were climbing on you. I hope you're alright."

Ryou slightly bowed and then raised her head to look at where the voice was coming from. Ryou was standing there in front of her mech, her brows furrowed. She hoped that she didn't get the wrong idea from her and Kat just standing there.

Kat smiled as they wandered around the town, and was absolutely awestruck as she saw the giant mech in the middle of town. It reminded her of something straight out of Super Sentai. It was so biiiiiig! Kat's eyes sparkled as she stared at it and was dragged along by Ryou, who promptly began scolding the children for climbing on the robot. Kat was just about to do the same, having let go of Ryou's hand to begin doing so, when she saw Ryou's icy glare. She looked down and frowned a little as she moved back closer to her companion.

Ryou began to converse with the robot, and Kat noticed a girl a little smaller than her coming out of a nearby store. Maybe that was the robot's companion? Kat tugged on Ryou's hand, but Ryou seemed focused on her interaction with the mech to really bother. With Ryou giving no response, Kat waved to them, wondering who they were and what they were doing in the town. They looked like other players, based on the shopping and appearance, but one could never truly tell in this game. Kat supposed that was part of the magic of it all.

"HI! Do you know whose robot this is?! Is it yours?!"

Kat shouted at the stranger, with no real regard to if they were even involved in this or not. They were another person in the town that wasn't a child climbing on the mech. Surely they must know something!

Having the children called off seemed to help the mech's mood. Or at least that was the impression one could have, it might have been a bit difficult to tell with any kind of certainty since the giant construct could not make expressions like humans did to communicate their feelings. Even its voice was largely the same and would not betray if the being was capable of emotions that humanoids associated with personhood.

"FINALLY FREE OF THE LITTLE DEMONS. THIS UNIT OFFERS ITS THANKS!"

Mystia, who was out of the shop at this point, noticed the whole commotion and snickered. She figured that she'd draw some attention, but she didn't expect someone to show up and start scolding others for the way they treated an unknown machine that very well could have been more hostile than friendly. Approaching, it didn't take long before one of the girls turned around and asked the small fae if she knew anything about the robot. Putting on finger on her lips, she smiled.

"Mmm, nope! Not a clue~!"

The dismissive response made the mechanical golem turn toward Mystia and lower itself a bit before it would begin speaking again.

"FIRST, AN ASSAULT OF CHILDREN. THEN MY MASTER ABANDONS ME. WHAT TERROR THIS DAY IS."

The fae girl grinned at the bot's response before she made another step toward it. A gesture that made the machine extend one of its hands forward like a platform. The girl quickly stepped on it and then was partly tossed onto the construct's back where she would sit down on one of its shoulders, putting away the shopping bag and looked down at the other two girls.

"Okay, maybe I do know something. Thanks for helping my buddy out~! Name's Mystia, and this is my Magitech construct. I hope you two weren't too inconvenienced by this~!"

Ryou wasn't sure how to handle a giant robot. She had seen one in Tokyo for a promotion that Kat was very excited about. That one didn't talk or move, so seeing and hearing this robot was very jarring. Her eyes widened as she slightly bowed again.

"Ah-- um... you're welcome."

The booming voice shook her. She eventually looked down at Kat, raising an eyebrow before looking in the direction she was looking. There was another girl, even shorter than Kat. She couldn't believe it was possible. The girl seemed to dance around the question. She wondered why she gave such vague answers, but it all seemed to be a joke to her. She looked at them both amazed as she climbed on top of the golem. Ryou felt like if she were in the same situation, she'd fall and hit her head.

"My name is Ryou, and this is Kat. It's nice to meet you and your magitech construct. We weren't inconvenienced at all, but I've never seen a machine like that before. Did you build it?"

The thought of being able to build robots excited her. Perhaps with her magic she could do the same.

Kat stared up in absolute awe at the titan of a machine. At least, it was from Kat's height and perspective. The girl played a little coy with Kat's question, but came around in the end to answer the question thanks to the robot itself giving it away.

However, when the robot picked the girl up and she rode on its shoulder, that was when everything changed. Ignoring everything else, Kat looked up at her girlfriend, tugging on her arm like a little girl, a sparkle in her eyes.

"RYOU! RYOU!!"

Kat desperately cried at her girlfriend, wanting to get her attention for what she desperately needed now in this moment. They had both watched the girl get carried up onto the robot, but Kat needed Ryou to understand.

"I want to ride on the robot too! Please! I need to!"

If you didn't know any better, you really wouldn't know that Kat was a fully capable adult outside of the game. A capable enough adult to serve alcoholic beverages to people. Yet, here she was, begging her girlfriend as if she were her mother if she could ride on a giant robot, in a video game.

Kat continued to look up at Ryou with big, expectant eyes. She had already been denied climbing on the machine. She hoped she wouldn't be denied this as well.

Mystia half expected the crown to disperse immediately, allowing her to leave the area and get a move on. But two figures remained even as the children ran away and adults grew a bit bored of the show, despite of how fantastical it might have been. They also happened to be the ones that helped her mech while it was being mercilessly assaulted by said children, as far as the fae understood.

Leaning in, she allowed herself to be disrespectful enough to listen in on what they were talking about. She figured it was probably about her and her creation anyway. She was correct, too! In fact, one of them was even talking directly to her! Bah, it was so hard to hear from so high up sometimes. Letting the mech lower itself into more of a squatting position, she was now only a bit above the two girls and eager to have a conversation.

"Heya! Name's Mystia, and I did indeed build this little guy~!"

"NAME PENDING."

"And you can ride with me if you want!"

As she said that, the mech would extend both of its hands forward, providing a way for them to climb up if they wanted to. They could have gone up to take a seat on the mech's shoulder by Mystia's side, or they could have remained on the arms, and they would get carried around.
