Ronja chuckled at Nico's words, shaking her head. "... I'm glad for you being so confident about it... But I will be here with you... Regardless of what happens..." She said, looking at her girlfriend for a moment before her gaze averted at the mention of Nico's mother. From what she had heard so far, Ronja wasn't really optimistic about Nico's mother. But perhaps a facade could occur, but that made Ronja feel more concerned than relieved.

Another chuckle escaped from Ronja's lips at Nico's mini heart attack because of the wheelchair, and she squeaked when Nico lifted her up, holding onto her tightly.

With faces close, Ronja gave Nico a gentle kiss on her cheek, and looked at her. "Sharing a sandwich sounds fun... Let's have it..."

She said, letting Nico guide her and push the wheelchair. The dog was being a bit too much, but as soon as they got on line, Ronja pondered about the sandwich. "Haha, well... Mine as long as there is no meat... Eggs are fine though... They aren't hard to digest..." She explained, looking at the stall, already feeling her mouth watering a bit.

"Hmm... I'm feeling like having some spinach cream in it..." Ronja pondered, tilting her head to a side and then the other. "Spinach cream... Scrambled eggs... Melting cheese..." She mumbled, licking her lips.

Nico nuzzled against Ronja in response to that peck on her cheek, "And that's why we make a great team." She added, bubbly in tone as she begun to direct the pair over to their nearest food dispenser stall. Or rather, the line they had to endure before that.

It wouldn't be so bad were the stall's aroma not as intoxicating, practically making her mouth water with all the waiting. Being mere inches close didn't help, as the closer they got to making their order, the more impatient she grew.

Her eyes glued themselves on Ronja, listening as she begun to blurt out everything she wanted between two loafs of bread, right hand busying itself stroking the big mutt's furs as a new tick of sorts. "You already got me with the melting cheese and spinach." Nico replied, hands reaching to grasp onto the wheelchair yet again to push them both one step closer as the line came to an end with them at the very front of it. "Let's hope you can finish your half though. And if you can't, I'll just eat it for ya~" She mumbled out,

And just as she finished doing so, one of the girls at the stall haphazardly turned around after finishing wrapping one of the orders with her partner, adjusting her cap as she placed her hands over the counter and eyed both of them with a customer service smile at ready and a sweet yet straightforward tone. The tag on her dress shirt reads 'May', right next to the 'Sunny Subs' logo.

"What can I get you two?"

"One Torpedo Sandwich with uhh-" Giving a glance to the plastic menu to confirm their order, "Melting cheese, spinach cream, some scrambled eggs... Oh and one half with chicken please." Her mumbles were all caught up and written down on a sticky note, something she took notice of after a little while, more likely for her partner on the back preparing the sandwiches. "You sell drinks too, right?"

"Cuca Kola, Repsi, Snipe for sodas both normal or lite, and we also have orange juice!"

Leaning to the side, her eyes dropped down to Ronja, pondering outloud over their choices. "Anything you fancy? Oh and any seasonings you'd like?" Nico hummed, hands tapping at the wheelchair's handles. "I'd put mayo but we already got melted cheese, and I ain't mixing the two up." That would be a sin even she couldn't dare pull off.

Ronja giggled at Nico being won by spinach and cheese, but who could lie, that combination was pretty wonderful. Her eyes narrowed at the following words, however— "We didn't even start eating yet... And you are already wanting to eat my sandwich..." She shook her head, though most playfully as she looked to the counter, finally approaching to tell their orders.

"I will want an orange juice, please..." Ronja lifted a finger with a small smile, tilting her head while looking at the options.

"That honey mustard sauce looks nice..." She muttered, looking at May and nodding. "I want some of this sauce too..." She pointed at it, and then she pondered a bit more about it.

"There are some side stuff too... Will you want any, honey..?" Ronja asked. "It isn't too expensive if we ask it as a combo." Not that money was an issue, but Ronja had a vague feeling that Nico wanted to pull those bills out of her wallet just to show that she had money, as if Ronja's parents were looking at them by some camera installed in the park.

It would be a lie from her if she didn't admit to being hungry. Airline food ain't exactly known to be tasty. Ronja could see through that apparently, her playfulness matched with a wink back at the brunette "Oh but it's -Our- sandwich, love." Nico giggled, reminded of the dog as it sat down next to them, exhaustion catching up to it. She cracked a smile, thankful they wouldn't have to wrestle for their food with the mutt for once.

May muttered to herself as she noted down the order, listening intently to the pair as they begun to check on the sauces and side-dishes for their meal.

"Honey mustard..?" Nico peered over to the sauce, but it didn't seem nothing out of the ordinary. It did look like mayo, but given it's 'mustard' that idea was quickly scratched away. "I'll try it out next time, I'm starving for something good— Uhh," With Ronja asking for the final touches, and with one hand already pulling out her wallet, Nico glanced back to May, "Do you guys sell cone fries?"

"Medium or Large-"

"Large!" Nico exclaimed. No way they can share medium with her appetite. "Don't matter how expensive it is though, we can just split the costs, unless..." Seductive side-glance engaged— "You let me pay for it. Nothing wrong to let me spoil you a little." Hopefully the fat wallet was caught by whatever cameras Lena had probably set up on the park.

Ronja paused for a moment, pursing her lips slightly as her cheeks flushed very faintly. "Right, our sandwich." She settled with a faint sigh, also glancing to the exhausted dog with the edge of her lips curving up when she suppressed a giggle. The cute dog looked quite silly right now.

The eager answer for a 'large' made Ronja blink looking at Nico. She really intended to eat that much? Her girlfriend had a strong appetite out of game too, it seemed. Ronja took a mental note of that, for future reference.

"You mean... You letting me pay for it... Right..?" Ronja looked at Nico's eyes with eyebrows raising as if trying to push the idea to her lover's mind.

But she didn't stay stubborn about it, letting another faint sigh through her nostrils, and smiling warmly. "Alright, you can spoil me..." She nodded. It felt a bit bad to let Nico spend her money when she already did to come all the way to her area.

"... But you need to allow me to spoil you too... This is unfair." Ronja slipped in a mutter.

With all hands on deck, the waiting game for their sandwich begun, a fancy ticket passed by like a broken telephone from May to Nico and over to Ronja.

Squatting down, the pinkette reached out for their clumsy dog, petting the old codger idly as her eyes met her lover's, a determined smile popping up moments after, "Alright alright, but we'll take turns to pay. And since I'm the one offering, I'll start~" Melodic tone aimed to disarm, with Ronja no sooner than that dropping the matter in her favour.

Holding back from expressing her triumph if only keep the brunette from thinking twice about surrender, Nico propped herself back up, passing over the ticket to May as she let the gigantic torpedo sandwich on the counter, wrapped up enough to keep the fumes going through two openings only, and with a bundle of disposable napkins. It's aroma immediately took over any other within the stall. A colourful selection of sauces were neatly packed up along the sandwich.

"Here's the cone, sorry for the delay, enjoy!"

The sheer size of everything had caught her dumbfounded. From the cone itself down to the sandwich, and even the drinks themselves looked rather large in comparison to popular fast food restaurants. "Damn- Okay here's the plan, you keep the sandwich on your lap, and I'll carry the drinks and the cone to one of the tables." It wasn't like many were put to use, as very few had portions as large as their own, or bothered to stick around for long.

Carefully, Nico passed over the sandwich back to Ronja as if it were King Arthur's Excalibur, their prized meal given to the knight-in-wheels for safekeeping while the royal beverages were snatched from the counter along the holy fries. Relief washed over at the realization most tables were free to take, with most having some leftovers to scoff at, but nothing she couldn't wipe out to the farthest corners and replace with their own.

"Also, look whose talking about unfair. You offered me the chance to live with you when all i had was a dirty bed, a vr headset, and a strict diet of soup and rice, and all for free." She commented as soon as she could give herself some respite from juggling their drinks, flopping onto the bench-like seat, watchful eyes on her lover for any needs of assistance she might have.

Always the hardest part when they met up: Not baby her around too much when it came to menial tasks.

"You do live a pretty comfy life though. Is that why you want to spoil me? Since you get spoiled pretty often by others already and don't get the chance to do the same?" Genuine curiosity sparkled, a hand clawing over some of the boiling-hot fries to chomp at.

When the orders were delivered, Ronja finally realized that Lena wasn't really there. The headmaid usually was nimble enough to somehow carry all of the orders all by herself, it was almost like she had four arms. But the fact she could help Nico in this small thing was already enough to bring a warm smile to her lips. "Leave it to me..!" She clasped her hands, letting out a giggle at Nico's artistic offering and taking it to her lap.

"I shall treasure it, my princess..." Ronja held the food onto place, waiting for Nico.

When pointing out the unfairness, Ronja rose an eyebrow. "And who said you would live all for free..?" She tilted her head. "I probably... Would need to pull a very good excuse at first..." Ronja muttered.

"And most likely would need to make you... A 'maid'. You need money, don't you..? My parents wouldn't like if I just gave money away to you..." She slipped a sigh, but also, she wasn't completely against her parents choices. It was a way to protect her from ulterior motives.

Ronja frowned at Nico's words, shaking her head so energetically it looked like TS Ronja. "Of course not!" She pouted, then her expressions softened in a droopy way. "It is only natural to want to spoil who you like..."

"Don't treasure it for long my lovely knight! It's half of your reward." Ronja's enthusiasm proved infectious enough to make her smile and chant with matching energy. With both hands occupied, itleft Nico with a giggling, dumb face exposed the whole way through until they were finally able to take a seat.

A playful smirk then grew up in retaliation as Ronja retorted, quick to place the drinks down for each, "Gonna ask your girlfriend to pay rent? How evil." She teased, arms crossing over the table as she leaned over, head facing to her left back at Ronja, "I mean that's why I'm working with my mother. I kinda figured your parents would approve more of some rich girl pianist over a maid?" A sentiment she couldn't help, let alone hold back the faint fluster on her cheeks when doing so. "But I mean, I worked on some shitty places. Maid work is child's play for me." The only thought she had to swallow now was the idea of wearing a maid outfit in the first place and do everything Lena asks of her. "Lena being my boss though... Scary, real scary." She chuckled.

Her fingers reached out to Ronja's face, thumb stroking over her cheek. Once again, Nico lets herself fall prey to cuteness... "You spoil me a lot by letting me play piano covers to you. Buut if you want to spoil me some extra, feel free to buy us some tickets to a Slime Girls concert." Incapable of holding back by now, Nico went all in, pinching and squeezing Ronja's bubbly cheeks for the few seconds she had to catch her off-guard before letting go of them to clasp her hands together over her lap once she had filled her bully quota.

"Alright, would you do me the honours and split it in half, Dame Ronja?" Her hand waved over to their turbo sandwich, elegantly so as to not miss a beat of their little roleplay of earlier,

Ronja pretended to ponder about Nico's words for a moment. "Not a rent... More of... 'To live here, you must contribute in some way.'" Ronja's voice turned rather deep when said that, as if she was quoting someone with a deeper voice.

A vague frown then crossed Ronja's face. "Rich piano girl, maid, homeless or gardener— It doesn't truly matter..." She shrugged, allowing herself to be driven all the way to their eating spot, where her eyes could meet Nico's once again. "... They won't have a saying on who I will love... But I also can't be completely selfish... I must make it clear to them that I love you, and you love me... And that you aren't... Just some freeloader... But that doesn't need you to sacrifice yourself, being forced to do something you don't want to..."

An apologetic smile appeared on her lips. "Lena isn't really bothered about you anymore." She admited.

When Nico's fingers touched Ronja's cheek, they would be retorted by the warmth that vaguely colored them. The blush wasn't as strong as the feelings that caused it, but the pinch made Ronja's eyes avert out of embarrassment. "Slime... Girls..? Alright." She nodded, eventually peeking back at Nico.

"But of course... Allow me... And the first bite is yours..." Ronja smiled, reaching for the sandwich to part it in two.
