Certainly missed this. (She says on approach.) Childress, was it? Gwyn ap Herne. I've heard a bit about you and the League. I'm interested to see how this all plays out with the tagalongs, but I'll admit I'm mostly curious to see how you whistles work.

I am curious what purpose you commit that bow to, Traveler? Mighty sharp arrows you've got and the arms to dominate their draws.

Be a first in my experience. Fuckin' luck and a whole lotta good shields are the only reason Azog wasn't a massacre. And Titanius... well. (She scowls and deigns not to elaborate.)

As for the bow and beasts and hands? First, it was to do just that. Cutting through the wilds was why I came here. Still most of what I'm here for, besides a few folks I'd call mine. Just took a bit to learn how much, ah, Arcia bites back. I intend to take it more cautious this go... as much as I can stomach, anyway.

I know you said you don't know the danger we're looking for, but there any others in particular I should have an eye out for on our way there, Whistle? Helps having more than a few extra eyes in the wings and things have changed since the last time I went through Myconid territory.

Other than the funny mushroom bastards that might become an annoyance on the way. My intuition tells me that the group may very well eat its own tail like an ouroboros if the whistles that went dark is any indication.

In any case, watch my back, I'll watch yours. And if you get the frenzy, try not to commit me to that map, yeah? Hah!

And alas, I don't consider it death, but progress.

The MIT is in need of an expansion of bureaucratic capacity.

But, may I suggest you expend less energy on speaking? It seems highly inefficient.

Since ze recruitment goes both way. A chance for recruits to display their skills and for ze organization to appeal, stick closely with the institute and show me your aptitude. Talks are mere hypotheses, unproven and unsubstantial.

We can discuss after ze fact.

"Could you show me where we'll be logistic-ing the equipment around this part here and here and here? If I know the bulk of what we're carrying and the conditions for carrying them appropriately I'll be sure to plot us the smoothest route within the designated course! Excelsior!"

Remember that I'm not a commander, that's specifically a Lion thing. "Leader" I believe, would be the more apt term.

However, excellent work, Fixer Laylabelle. If you can lead ze technician team and follow this plan when we get to ze onsite research location, we can perhaps save some time.
