Personality
In-game: Norbert is a man of passion, fire, and impulse. He's here to have a good time, and he doesn't care who is around to join him, why, or where things will go from here. The world is his oyster, in a way that he never got to experience in real life, and so he will do anything within his power to attain the things he now desires, though those desires will probably change with the wind.
Out of Game: Norbert is a very soft-spoken elderly man who obeys orders given to him with little question and completes tasks to the utmost perfection. A neat freak, a bit of a brown noser, but an otherwise all-around nice guy, who just so happens to wish that he could live a life outside the confines of the mansion and the family he serves without question.

Background
Norbert lives his day to day as the live-in butler for a cult-like Texas family, who worship Satanism. Norbert has never actually cared too much about this, as the family is a lot more wholesome and put together than one might think for one with such eccentric interests. He does have to clean up the odd summoning circle or pentagram that the two children draw up from time to time, but as far as he knows this has never actually hurt anyone.
Though, thanks to the family he serves, Norbert found himself gaining quite an interest in the occult and demons, specifically hellhounds and their origins. This interest of his translated almost directly into Terrasphere, when he was approached by the son of the family to play the game. Nick, a very tech-focused child who seemed far less interested in the Satanic aspect of his family's worship, and much more interested in aliens and space, had gotten a hold of a couple of pairs of headsets for the game through his family's underground channels.
Norbert had heard of the game, and he had heard it was dangerous, but he also knew that there was no way that anyone else in the house would play with the kid, and who better to do so than the family butler? Nick ordered Norbert to join him, and so Norbert did.
What Norbert didn't expect, was the severe amount of immersion and freedom the game would offer, as well as the fact that Norbert could be more of what he believed to be his ideal self, with a bit of that hellhound flare he had been researching thrown in. Norbert was a man who considered himself unappealing and therefore made the in-game self as appealing as he believed he could.
So, he would often load into the game with his young charge, however, whenever he would log in, Nick would have already abandoned the old man to run off and do whatever he wanted to, pretty much leaving Norbert to do... well, whatever he wanted. Although, without anyone to tell this man who had spent his life taking orders what to do, he was bound to get himself into trouble...
