Playtest 1 Results
Thank you for your participation in the playtest the past few weeks. Below are my thoughts based on play data and the feedback you provided.
- Overheal. Fun mechanic that is situationally useful. We may see a return of this, but in a different form.
- Action Flexibility. We'll be addressing this in the coming playtest.
- Immortal. A very flavorful armor ability that was very strong! It's not going away, but we'll figure out ways to tone it down a little.
- Second Wind. Between Immortal and Second Wind, this ability isn't going to get used much, if at all. It will be going away.
- Taunt. Threat is an interesting mechanic that we would like to explore a bit more.
- Hinder & Ultra Hinder. The full SP damage is definitely staying.
- Ultra Counter. This is also staying.
- Burst & Critical Attack. All received quality of life (QOL) changes that will stay.
- Sneak Attack. This is still not where we want it to be. It will need some work.
- Reckless Attack. This version of reckless is needlessly complicated. It has to go.
- Massive Attack. This could use some changes.
- Heal. This is at a very good spot!
- Power Heal. There's some extra tuning that could be had here!
- Buff & Power Buff. Very good QOL changes that will stay.
- Regeneration. Very flavorful and better than it was previously. It's staying.
- Protect Aura. A bit too strong! We'll tune it down a bit.
- Instability. This is not a particularly fitting passive for Evoke, we'll be reworking it.
- Coordinate. It felt very strong and flavorful, it could use a bit of extra tuning, so it's easier to use.
- Exceed. There's more that could be done with this alter.
- The rest of the alter actions did not have play data, so the testing continues.
