"I'll be seeing ya' two later, and be careful with that shortcircuittin' or something, Ronja! Make sure that elf ye' got doesn't screw something up." She smirked, giving a short wave to the pair as they left the shop, sighing off to herself. "What a pair of weirdos... Didn't even ask for a slice of cheese." René grinned from ear to ear. More for her, that means.

Finally outside, the tension on her shoulders faded, rolling them a little as she adjusted her top. Given how new the clothes Ronja chose for her were, she would need to get used when compared to her old reliable rags. "Alright, the rest goes to the inventory." She said, sending the pile of clothing straight through the UI, scouting their surroundings as the town's activity didn't seem to change in their time spent inside the shop, yet there were certainly less people around compared to earlier.

Yet like she said earlier, they had stuff to do, and the next stop would be the smithy's forge. Given their previous directions, it turned out to be easy to head there even without Elias, and through it all Fiora kept her arm locked with Ronja's. The elf smiled to herself, content with taking her time to head there, if only to give a better look at the lively town.

The blacksmith's shop could already be caught from afar, between the smoke coming from the side and the half open door that lead to the front, both of them could see the familiar sight of their dark-haired friend, and a girl who shared little ressemblence to him wearing heavy-duty gloves and coated on coal stains.

I wish I could but... Can't you ask the guards to do something about it? I can't just keep losing cargo like that!

Mey you know they can't- And even if they did, how are they going to pierce through that much crystal? We tried with a pickaxe before, I doubt the hides will be any easier.

Rising an eyebrow, Fiora shared a glance over to the door then back to Ronja as they had just overhead their discussion. "Sounds like our cue to go in." Smirking confidently, the greenette pushed the shop's door open. The inside was barebones now that they could get a good tglance at it.

Far more function over form in comparison to Réne's. It was almost a placeholder for customers to get a good look at the displays of weapons and armor, but that came with a lack of organization as one could tell none of them were properly arranged. There were swords here, tools there, and stacks of boxes on a corner. Yet despite the chaos, it was surprisingly clean, as if the quirky owner personally maintained it this way.

The duo quickly shut off and turned heads towards them both, with 'Mey's expression turning into a wide smile out of a sudden before busting the slickest slide a human could do over a counter, rushing over to the duo with eyes lit like the stars at night time.

Welcome! I uhm, the shop has no name yet. I take it you two are the ones who were going to put a request for me?!

She spoke, her excitement replacing the seldom boredom on her tone from earlier. Mey yelped once Elias hand fell over her head, nodding over to the duo and giving them both a throughful glance.

Gotta say, I'm impressed that you got her out of her rags, Ronja. She looks good now. Ehem, This is Mey, my sister.

-Adopted- sister and blacksmith of Hanrift! So, are you planning to build something big..? The size of this order of yours is quite demanding, I was just talking about that with Elly here.

"Come on, my clothes weren't that bad before..." That would be a hill she would die on if needed, rubbing away at her nape. "And yeah, we were hoping to see if Elias didn't just forget about it while we were out shopping."

The day I lose my memory is the day Mey's gonna be running like a headless cow around here.

...Just nod along with him. It's headless chicken though...

"Brother and sister for sure. Adoptive or not." She looked over to Ronja with a sly grin on her features. "Wooden frames were one of the things we wanted to order, right? I sort of forgot to add everything when I listed it down to Elias."

Ronja still couldn't know where to hide her face, so she hid as much as she could behind the awkward smile that crossed her lips, hoping that it would be enough to distract herself from the thoughts that now haunted her with pure embarrassment.

It didn't last long, however, with the company of her beloved and their stroll to the blacksmith being enough to bring a more genuine smile to her lips.

As they approached the building, a conversation could be heard and it caught Ronja's attention, that looked at Fiora puzzled. "It does sounds like it. A crystal though..?" Blacksmiths didn't work with those, as far as she knew.

She didn't have much time to think about it, however, with her thoughts being disrupted bt the sudden approach of the woman as soon as they stepped in. A faint giggle escaped Ronja's lips when Elias interjected.

"She looks better now." Ronja defended Fiora, correcting Elias.

Her eyes then trailed to the blacksmith. "It is nice to meet you, Mey. Name's Ronja Bubblyfoot." She said, offering a hand and clicking her eyes.

"We do want to build something big. A workshop, and also a home. Both in the same place, a two-in-one kind of deal." Ronja elaborated, glancing at Fiora and returning her sly smile with a warm one. "They sure are siblings. Really charming too, or at least Ronja thinks so."

Her head then fell sideways in a tilt, followed by a pondering hum.

"Wooden frames are going to be very necessary. With the amount of doors and windows we will need..." Her face frowned at the potential costs.

Fiora furrowed her brows and nodded. "We'll ask, but first let's get ourselves a deal and a friend." Better to have a strategy than none at all, and with that, the elf pushed the door open to greet the siblings (or rather, interrupt them in their crystal talk)

Reading in-between Ronja's words made her cheeks fluster and a bashful smile to show up on her lips when both defended and complimented, while Elias kept the laughter to himself and simply smirked.

Better for sure. René might be a little grumpy but she's got a good heart and a divine touch for tailoring.

Mey gave a glance down to the stretched out hand, before her arms spread wide open and wrapped around the magia in for a hug. It caught Fiora completely off guard to see the blacksmith squeal and go for that approach, and it did show that Elias and her were very different in many senses of the word. Her gaze turned into a squint once she felt her chest heavier, unsure why other than Mey being part of the reason.

No need to be so formal, a friend of Elias is a friend of mine. We got similar eye colour, so that's a good sign! Besides, you already got to know René, so that's double the friend points from me.

"Guess that proves why you two are so different." She pointed out, given Elias's darker irises, which caused the man to snort a little. "I'm Fiora, but I figure Elias already told you a little about us." Fiora added, watching as Mey finally let go of Ronja and took a step back to listen to their request, gloved hands on her waist as a far more curious look wrapped over her features.

A home together sounds super cute...

It made her dreamy, romantic self almost wander away, were it not for Elias's giving her one rough pat on the back to snap her out of her mind and back to reality, with an innocent look on his face once a pouty glare was sent his way.

"Doors, windows, making a second floor... Our home's gonna be pretty big and we need the best quality possible and this is without considering whatever other materials and tools we might need for the workshop itself." She followed up on Ronja, and couldn't help but think of the way this would sting their purses, but she hadn't worked all this time for free. Bless her own skepticism coming handy. "An order that size sounds rough, but Elias told us you are the best..." Fiora gave a look over to the magia then back to Mey.

The smithy's chest puffed with pride in contrast with her blushing face, turning to look over to Elias who simply nodded back at her, as if the couple weren't the only ones who had an idea in mind.

I can lower the prices a little, if you can help us with an issue we have related to a lost cargo and a beast. We are kiiinda low on supplies and even if you had them we would be cut short in time...

Elias glanced at the pair and shrugged apologetically

It's the best deal I could get, unless you two are swimming in gold. Travelers are pretty good at solving problems as far as I know.

"Causing them too." Fiora sighed, and many examples came to mind that fit that quota. Tilting her head to the side to get a better glance at Ronja, she added: "Sounds like a good deal. What you think? Questing just like old times?" Both a question and a fond memory for her to recall upon with nostalgia.

Ronja smiled when Elias seemed to accept her correction. "René sure doooooooooooooooooooooes-" Her voice lingered in a surprised exclamation, being wrapped in Mey's arms and letting out a chuckle. The squeal startled her at first, but as soon as she got used to it, she returned the hug. "That's the warmest 'nice to meet you' Ronja has ever received." She said with a sheepish chuckle.

"Our eyes are matching, yeah!" Ronja chirped, taking a couple steps back when she was finally released. "Ronja will be glad to be your friend then, Mey." She said, taking Fiora's hand and squeezing it. "We are going to be around here from now and on, so we are counting on you to help us with your services. Ronja is sure that we are in a good care with both of you." Ronja declared, showing a smile to both Elias and Mey.

As they continued to speak, Ronja nodded at Fiora's elaboration on what they needed to build their home and workshop. Just the thought of how much it all would cost already worried the magia, but she kept a firm smile on her lips, that widened even more at the offer of some discount.

"Lost cargo and a beast? Ronja thinks like it is our type of thing to deal with." She hummed, looking at Fiora and letting out a giggle.

"Yes, let's do it. Ronja needs to put her engine to work, unless she wants to get rusty."

That's good. Means I'm still the champion at warm welcomes!

Nothing about it related to working on a literal forge.

He smiled to himself, only to be met with a most threatening but playful smile from Mey that sent chills down his spine. Since when was she so alert..? Mey didn't give him time to think as Ronja used the F word on Mey and the smithy reacted by wrapping an arm around Elias's neck and dragging him down to her height.

G-gh! Mey!

Don't worry Ronja. You can count on us, and we can count on you two! That's what eye-matching friends do.

Fiora smirked, shooking off her head a little as she felt the squeeze upon her hand, fingers interlocking with Ronja's. "You two really are living sunshines." She pointed out with her gaze alone, shifting between her lover and Mey, who giggled and responded in full by squeezing poor Elias a little more.

Living with doom and gloom's pretty tiresome. I should know, some in this town gets scared by things happening on the other side of Arcia.

A smile grew up across her lips as Ronja gave her confirmation. "Hey if that happened, I'll just sit down and do a restoration job on you to get the rust off." Despite her jokes, Fiora hoped against a change anytime soon. It hasn't been long, but the new cute frame had taken over her heart real quick. "It's been a while since I've seen you and skullbuster in action too." She added, turning her eyes over to the pair who already seemed pleased by the turn of events.

Elias not so pleased, given his sister just wouldn't let go of his neck without him forcing his way out of her iron grip.

We can talk over the details over a meal at the inn. It's on the house, by the way. My way to welcome you two into Hanrift.

He gave the pair a wink, only for Mey to catch up to it and wink back at them too a second later.

"Alright, you won when you offered free food." Her hand parted ways with Ronja's, only to lock arms with her instead, smiling over to her lover. "Let's not go out with an empty stomach. Unless that ain't an issue for you." She couldn't fight back the rumbling of her stomach, but this did make her rise a brow, curious if Ronja actually needed the food in the first place or not.

Ronja smiled at the dynamics the siblings shared, letting out a chuckle at Elias jab and allowing her eyes to trail to her hand and Fiora's, before looking up at her beloved's eyes. "They really are..." She hummed, looking back at the duo.

"Ronja agrees. We will always have our hard times, but allowing to be drowned by it isn't good, as hard as it can be sometimes." She said, then pausing to glance at Fiora again, raising an eyebrow.

"Do you know how to restore Ronja's body? Normal wounds aren't too far off from a flesh humanoid, but anything that goes too deep is a bit... complicated." Ronja admitted, even if that would raise a question or another about her. The truth was that she needed to make it clear this was all normal, rather than anything noteworth or scary.

"Only Ronja can take care of the skullbuster though." She added sharply.

When an offer for details over a meal came forth, Ronja perked up, nodding intently before Fiora asked about her necessities.

"Ronja could find some biocomponents to override that, but this would come with a great energy cost." She explained, briefly before scooting closer to Fiora as their arms were locked.

"Ronja would love to share a meal, Elias."

Fiora hummed along as she met gazes with Ronja, face alone telling how unwilling on interrupting the fun presented to them she is, at least until Mey finally pulled an answer and the magia followed with a bit of wisdom that struck a chord too close at home, but regardless stays true.

Forward's the only way in life, ain't nobody progressing if they keep going back.

To say Elias was impressed for Mey sharing some words of wisdom for once was an understatement...

"I was joking, I actually don't. But that's something we can go over later, It would help avoid issues if I knew how to fix you up." Fiora replied, yet besides the means to assist Ronja in general, the question fascinated her given the mechanisms going inside of a magia were still a mystery to her. Sure, she's seen the insides of many, but always to destroy rather than fix.

The overprotective nature of the brunette over her rifle made her wave her hands in surrender as she chuckled. "Yes ma'am, sorry ma'am." She nodded.

I swear I don't understand a single thing they are saying...

Magia stuff I think, shush, let them talk it's adorable...

But Elias didn't give them long for that, Fiora's eyes darting over to Ronja as she affirmed the increase in costs, which would honestly be more of a downside than an upside. Food's tasty, why deny it?

Great, let's get going then before Mey chirps.

I'll catch up soon, have to close the shop first!

Fiora rolled her eyes a little for Ronja to notice, before turning around and striding outside of the shop together with Elias as their guide once again...

1:00 PM, The Bottomless Pit Tavern - Hanrift.

So, Ronja. What brought you two around Hanrift? Are you two wanting to settle in around the town? Tell me all about it, we might aswell be neightbors at this point!

Mey spoke up just as soon as they had a table of their own to share, with Elias and Fiora following soon after they finished talking to the bartender, and showing up a few minutes after carrying a tray stuffed full for them, with various rations of meat sprinkled with herbs, two bowls of carrot soup boiling hot, and four large loaves of bread for each. A large fork was stabbed in the venison cut that remains the single largest portion, and lemon slices were spread all around, and four mugs of water were centered and for each of them to reach for.

"I'm just gonna say this looks amazing for the cost. Way more than I imagined." Fiora licked her lips, taking a seat right next to Ronja, eyes set on their meal as Elias set it all over the table and sat down too. "Hope they don't mind sharing the recipes with us." She hoped for that at least, keeping the idea in the air- Wouldn't be a smart thing to mention Aid-lings or how they could help them out in the kitchen afterall, not in an inn bursting with people.

Good vibes and drinks worked in their favour, as very few bothered to glance over too hard at Ronja.

Her hand quickly went for the steamy venison, cutting a slice out and offering it skewered to her beloved to give it a trying bite, warm smile encouraging her to go for it.

They got some of the best mutton you will ever find around too! Potatoes are also pretty popular. Lots of Starcalled recipes got taken in too. I remember Finweald had this thing called 'Burgers' last time I visited

Like a predator, the smithy went after the carrot soup, latching onto it on her side of the table.

I think I can ask our chef to write it down for me later if you want that- Anyways...

Elias set down his mug after one quick gulp, a hand reaching out for loaf of bread for him to butter up.

One thing I need to confirm with you two is if you have the tools for the job. The cargo's the easy part, the beast... Well, I never killed one of these myself, but I know many hunters around here tried their hand at it and had a big problem trying to pierce through it's scales.

"Oh I'm not so sure..." Fiora pondered over it in a sarcastic tone, mischievous smile like only an imp could bear to have. It amused her to no end, given neither sister or brother had seen a dissonant monstrosity and a cavern get turned into swiss cheese by the magia sitting next to them. "We'll find out once we face it..." Eye set on Ronja, winking over to her beloved before tearing off yet another slice of venison, this time for herself.

Ronja could only stay eager to their meal, especially after a nice interaction between the two siblings, it truly relaxed her heart that they were at very good hands. Even if they were eccentric in their own way, Elias and Mey's words made it clear that they were just as strange to them. And it was fine, the world was better with strange people to learn more from.

When they were in the tavern, the amazing order that had come to the table certainly served as a great distraction to Ronja from whatever gaze she would receive... but even if she had noticed, she knew it was only a matter of time before they got used to her. "Ronja agrees, these soups and breads look wonderful!"

The offer for the skewered venison made Ronja blink for a bit, looking up at a Fiora with an apologetic smile and handwaving in rejection. Even in her magia body, the lack of eating meat in real life carried the same habit and taste to her virtual self, so she simply mouthed a polite 'thank you'.

Her eyes went up to Mey, and a nod followed- "Yes, we plan to settle around here... After taking a good look at the options, this place looked like the most comfortable... And turned out we were right. To receive such a warm welcome." She chirped, looking at the two siblings.

"Ronja... Will skip the mutton, but she is accepting the potatoes for sure!" She said, then giving her attention to Elias, that brought the important topic at hand. The mention of other hunters having trouble with it made her frown, but Fiora's confidence brought a better expression back to her face.

"Ronja is sure we will be able to handle it. Honey here is pretty strong, and Ronja can cover her gaps." Ronja smiled to her beloved, giggling.

With Ronja declining her offer, Fiora just smiled and lightly nodded at her, putting in practice the 'more for me then!' energy her eye had as the elf just took a bite out of it instead and set it down soon after. Her mug of water felt a bit more dull in comparison to their meals, but staying sober was worth it before a job.

Elias smiled warmly once Ronja made her gratitude known, solemn in comparison to Mey, who gave her a larger-than-life grin and a wink in between sips.

We try our best. Everyone does, even if it don't look like it.

After the situation in Vintergard, folks are still shocked. If it's not one problem it's another. They just need some quiet and peace to get their heads together.

Determination shined upon his eyes, to at least guarantee this much to the Traveler duo.

We are pretty popular around here, leave it to us to make sure you get a nice welcome from everyone, eventually!

Upon hearing what tickled Ronja for a meal, Fiora stretched out her hands to reach for a plate filled with roasted potatoes and adorned with lime juice to add to the flavour, aswell as chopped, fresh leaves. There was a taste of garlic and even red pepper flakes on it, giving them some spice.

"Looks kinda familiar, an eastern recipe I think."

Once she set it down for Ronja, her eye turned back to the pair, sighing off a little as she tried to keep her head worry-free. It would take some time too to know people are afraid of every traveler they meet, as opposed to how things were before.

Giggles and a smile from her lover however, were enough to get her mind out of it, making her wave a hand dismissively to the pair.

"Ronja is just being cute and making me look better." A smile crossed her lips as a hand went to playfully squeeze one of Ronja's cheeks between her thumb and index. "I rely on her to put a hole on things, I just make sure said things don't get to her before she does." She explained, a dynamic that always worked even if it wasn't their only option. "That said... She's the genius. I'm the muscle. So you can bet I'm strong at least." Fiora chuckled, waving a hand over for Mey to give her a cut from the mutton.

One day I really want to see what Ronja can do, I heard stories of magia and how they mix magic and steel together!

She folded her arms though, as the idea opened possibilities in her eyes, but also complications. Magic wasn't her forté by any means.

Well here I am worrying over people ten times as stronger than me. Do try to bring some scales from that thing if you can, would be nice to have proof of the deed for the others.

He nodded, leaning over with one elbow on the table as he begun to attack his bread once again, far more reserved compared to Mey or Fiora.

"We'll probably get a little busy after we deal with this, but you two can count on us if there's anything that needs solving. Ronja's a pretty good crafter too, so once her workshop is running, that's an option too." She promoted, after all, a little bit of advertising wouldn't do wrong.

"Exactly. With time and patience, there is nothing that can't be fixed." Ronja said, just as determined to have the nice world they had back to them, without fearing for retaliation from angry people or to deal with a ticking bomb that could explode at any moment.

A small smile crossed her lips when Fiora took some of the food Ronja wanted to her, and the magia made sure to show her gratitude by mouthing a 'thank you' to her, soon taking the first few bites of her meal. "Ronja will be counting on you then, to make us just as popular." She giggled, then looking at Fiora with a wink. "You make it easy for Ronja to make you look better." She pointed out, returning her attention to Mey not too soon after.

"Ronja can show you how all magitech work. Maybe she can even teach you how to meddle with it a bit?" She tilted her head. "You don't need to be a magia to use magitech, after all-" She said, smiling a bit more to Elias as he spoke.

"Regardless of being strong or not, Ronja is very grateful for your worries, Elias. You sure have a heart of gold."

"Gold also helps." Fiora jested, leaning back on her chair all smug as she watched Mey roll her eyes at that and Elias just laugh away at how predictable his sister turned out to be.

"Don't be mad that she's right. People tend to fall for the gold trap too often, even if I wish it wasn't the case."

He tried to defend the elf, only for Mey to pout and set her gaze on him in disbelief.

"You are supposed to be on my side, not hers!"

"You did just tell Ronja you would make her popular. Gold can change anyone's thoughts too"

Yet his game became too obvious even for the smithy herself, who locked eyes with the magia and waved in dismissal back at Elias.

"Now you can tell what I have to deal with every morning."

When Ronja retaliated with a compliment and a wink, Fiora's cheeks turned a rosy red, a soft smile growing on her just then. "All your own merit." She gestured vaguely over to her own clothes, given these were the ones the brunette had chosen for her. "I just try my best for you."

When Ronja offered, Mey's eyes became as bright as beacons, not even letting her finish before blurting out a:

"Wait, are you being serious now? I just can't believe I'm getting to learn about it without having to resort to Finweald, this is a one in a lifetime chance!"

Her excitement palpable despite how Elias didn't bat an eye over, proof of her own self-control learned over the years. Still, the premise of magitech being at her reach...

"I thought there was no way someone like me could do magitech. I'd love for you to show me what you know."

Elias interrupted, giving her a pat on her back before poor Mey could begin to hyperventilate and fangirl over the concept. Even now it was easy for the pair to tell the million ideas rushing through the smithy's head.

"I wouldn't call it a heart of gold, It's normal to worry for others, specially neighbors. At least that's the case around here. I know it's not so common for the cityfolk in Arcia, but I figure you Travelers have something similar from where you come from?"

"Not that much." Fiora swallowed the chunk of meat after enough quiet chewing, resting her elbows over the table. "Depends where you are born I guess, but that's just everywhere." She left it vague on purpose, but she didn't speak much in Ronja's terms, given Lena was far more dangerous than her entire block at three in the morning could be.

She sighed, leaning back against her chair with both hands over her now satisfied tummy "I think I'm full already, and there's still a lot left... Say, you two mind if we pack the leftovers for the road? Ronja here eats a lot, wouldn't want her to starve on our way there." She teased, whistling innocently as Mey broke into a laughter.

"Hah! Fine by me, but now try and repeat that with a straight face!"

Ronja smiled to Mey, resting a hand on her chest with a nod. "Of course she means it. It is the least she can do, especially after everything you are doing for us." She then looked at Elias, shrugging in a similar tone as Fiora had rejected the idea of people being like that where she came from.

"Nowhere is absolute, honestly. Nowhere, and especially no one. Granted... Ronja does think the surroundings help you to become a better person or not." But that was stepping into a philosophy territory that Ronja was tired of.

As Fiora joked about Ronja eating too much, the Magia elbowed her side, and looked at the other two with a timid smile.

"Ronja does appreciate your food, it is very tasty... And it would be good to have some fresh travelling rations, so we can save the ones that last longer for the latter days." She said, partially agreeing with the idea of packing it for the road. It was never a bad idea to bring extra supplies, after all.

"Pssh, it's not done yet, so stash the gratitude for a bit longer at least." Mey said, despite the smile that creeped on her lips, clasping her trembling hands over her knees. Excitement rather than illness or a chill, tempered by self-control and Elias presence.

Fiora leaned back on her seat, as hearing Ronja dwelve in these kinds of topics was, if anything, an opportunity to the rare bits of wisdom the magia had whenever the mood allowed it. A tried-and-true philosophy, with both of them as an example of it.

"So both sides are not as different as I heard. Well, that's a relief. At least it means you Travelers are easier to understand." He said with a lighter tone and eased expression already.

"Oof..." A quiet muffle as her body tilted from Ronja's silencing blow, flashing a goblin-like grin at her despite the well-deserved elbow she took. Fiora already could predict the answer would be a 'yes', and to save time she had already begun to pack the meal onto packs to send straight into her inventory, something that had Mey watching in awe as food dematerialized in thin air.

"Please, no need to ask."He waved a hand casually as the thought of doing so ever crossed the pair. "Even if I had an objection, Mey would find a way to convince me otherwise."

"I can be VERY persuasive. When you two are back I can tell you the story of how I won a wagon out of a thief!" Her pride swelled whereas Elias just sighed, with the face of someone whose heard the tale too many times to count.

"Can't wait to hear it, reason why we are heading out now. Sooner we finish the job, sooner we'll be back." A customer-service smile followed as Fiora stood back up, edging between modesty and haste. Truth to be told, her sword arm itched more for some action than her ear did for a tale. A feeling she thought long extinct.

Her eyes then landed on Ronja "Besides, we should do it while the sun's up. We don't want to hunt in the dark- Well, I don't at least. Not everyone's got robo-eyes with nightvision." Amusement dripping from her lips, aswell as reasons far more valid than the last, for three out of four people on this table, at least.

Ronja nodded at Elias' conclusion about the topic at hand. "Exactly. Not too different at all..." Her eyes then trailed to Mey, tilting her head when she mentioned a past story that had a very interesting premise.

"... You won a wagon out of a thief?" Ronja frowned in mild disbelief, but as her gaze lingered on Mey, she eventually paused in a much more understanding expression. "Ronja... Ronja for some reason feels like it is something that Mey would actually manage to accomplish." She blinked, but before she could ask more about it, Fiora had already started to hurry them up, and Ronja complied to it, but not before correcting Fiora.

"- Ronja doesn't really have nightvision though." She pointed out, raising a finger near her eyes for emphasis. "It is complicated, she can attempt something, but- By default, she doesn't have such a thing." Ronja refrained from going into details regarding it, mostly because she didn't want to engage in a big explanation, because it would involve a lot of 'ifs' and 'exceptions', and all of that would probably bring more questions about it out.

"Still-" She clapped her hands. "Ronja agrees, a night hunt wouldn't be optimal. She votes for us to go right now." With a nod, she tried to hurry to get the two of them in their travel to solve this problem already.

"Mmmhm! Believe it. I could sell water to a fish if I tried hard enough! Not like I would do it, that's just rude." She tapped away at her chin, chewing on her lower lip to fight back the nerves the idea caused. Just thinking too hard on it made her stomach rumble with disagreement.

"She's as much of a genius as she is a fool, but that's why I'm the big brother." His smirk almost got wiped off, were the punch on his shoulder any stronger than what Mey could muster right now.

Fiora perked a brow as Ronja decided to correct her. By now the magia could tell half of the greenette attention was lost on that smug smile calmly resting on her features. Calculating, the elf took but a second to prepare for Ronja to finish before setting into motion her right hand, delivering betrayal in the form of a flick to her nose.

"What a nerd you are, hun." She smiled, petname to minimize the chances of retaliation obviously. "Alright you two, you heard her, we gotta leave so catch you later!" Fiora winked at the pair, hurried in backpedaling and create some distance...

And the two could see that, even if they didn't really find Ronja as much of a danger right now as Fiora did, at least when it comes to paying back the flick.

"It's funny how she acts when you aren't around her. It's like a completely different person." He shook his head, waving a hand at both her and Ronja alike. "Go, before she gets in trouble when you least expect it." At least the magia herself looked more reliable than the goofball did right now. Even Mey could see it given the silent vote of confidence in her gaze.

"Good hunting, you two!"
