Lucia had been collecting materials for a long time. When the final piece had been retrieved, the Vengeance's name board, Lucia gathered all the materials together in a pile while digging through occasional pieces of flesh resin and other ship building materials that had been stacked up. It wouldn't be much longer now she thought, the undead pirate was still laying down, as she often did when on land, it was hard for Morgana to adapt to being without the call of Vengeance and it was the reason she had been considered a lower Tier then her peers. Lucia hoped to rectify that now after spending a little over a month cutting and chopping lumber using her workers to gather the necessary million+ pounds of wood and other materials. It had been a trial for her people to gather and collect all the needed materials and added flesh and blood needed for the project, but in the end when it had all been gathered Lucia was satisfied at least.

"Good... With this we should be able to get started. I've never built a Necrofex before, it should be fun mm?" She mused, looking at the unorganized pile of materials while her hand rested on Luna's head, stroking her ears slowly while she spent some time admiring her work. Her other hand bringing a cup of coffee to her lips, losing a bit of sleep over it naturally but it was worth it. Her mood was high, it was always exciting rising an undead to a high tier, seeing what they became, fixing and evolving them was a rush for Lucia. "I think this's the first time you'll see one up close though, usually I did all of this work myself." She thought musing, tilting her head with a musing expression.

While she wasn't necessarily secretive about her process, it also didn't mean she would broadcast or record it. For Lucia it was a nice intimate moment with her undead tinkering with their inner workings and bringing them together. She didn't mind getting help from Luna or anyone she was super close to. If Luna wanted to help she'd naturally let her while still fluffing her head and playing with her ears. "Anyway, figuring out where to get started is tough, it's actually a big project unlike the others, they were big efforts sure, but didn't take up nearly this much space or require so much labor." She mused looking at it all a bit hesitant to dive right on in and get to it immediately. Though Luna was likely uncertain of what they would be doing too, she'd have to explain some of the important points that could be helped with too. That amount of effort was why she procrastinated while petting her head.

Now that she thought about it, this was going to be the first time she'd ever been around to watch Lucia working on a project, which was something exciting. When they'd met four years ago, the woman had already been such a powerhouse that her operations had been almost entirely self sustaining. Though, of course, Luna really didn't know anything about what Lucia did, or how she did what she did, their crafts had always been far too different, even now. Especially now, in fact. Back when she'd been working to become a beast tamer, perhaps there could have been some overlap.

Honestly it made her feel like she might just be useless to Lucia, as she sat there with Lucia stroking her ears, looking at a pile of materials that Luna had no clue what the woman would do with. If she could help, she would, but she had the distinct feeling that she might be quite the worthless addition to this little production, unless Lucia needed help that her magitech could provide.

Actually, she wondered if undead could operate magitech...?

"I honestly don't know what any of this is, I'm afraid." There was a bunch of wood, which Luna had no clue had anything to do with necromancy. She'd expected more bones and flesh and blood. Of course, there WAS bones, flesh and blood, but it didn't explain the wood.

"What's a Necrofex, anyway?"

With a chuckle, hearing Luna say she was afraid was cute, there wasn't much to be afraid of that she could genuinely think of outside of the spooky nature of creating an undead. It wasn't like it was a dangerous task so much as it was some trial and error, elbow grease and troubleshooting. "Don't have any anxiety, this should be fun dear, there's no enemies and no real problems here to solve. It's just something that'll take time, perhaps a lot of time... Which was why I thought you'd want to be here with me rather then wondering why I'm not talking to you in comms and wondering what I'm up to." She teased with a chuckle. It would be a convoluted project, with such big and so many pieces it would be a longer project then most of her other undead too, so she didn't want Luna to get paranoid and start spam-messaging if she was okay or if something had happened. God forbid the girl thought she died accidentally in game and kept poking her body worried it was a corpse in reality.

Though when asked what a Necrofex was, Lucia craned her neck wondering how much to explain, what was important or useless information. "A Necrofex, is an undead creature built from comradery and fellowship. When a ship becomes a member of the family, and a part of the crew, when the crew become family and kin. When the ship sinks, and the people die, if their feelings and spirits are strong enough to stay together, to keep going and soldier on, a Necrofex is born. From the skeleton of the ship, and the flesh of the crew, a monster is born." She tried to explain. "Like a Chimera of people and ship you could say." She clarified.

If Luna still didn't understand the nature of the creature they would try to make, Lucia wasn't sure how better she could describe it. She'd have to just let Luna see what it looked like in the end. "There are a few things we need to do before getting started at least. I have all of the materials now, the ship's name boards are the most important components you could say. Everything else needs to be organized and set into proper places, I need to fix and add Morgana to it too. I can lead you though the work though." She would say thinking of the work that needed to be done in the massive pile with an exhale.

"Well you're not wrong. It'd be a pretty big worry to be unable to get you to come out of VR and thinking you've died or something." Though she would probably log out occasionally, she knew that sometimes Lucia got so invested in these projects that she likely wouldn't see the woman's real body awake for a while. That did mean she could probably have some fun in the real world, but that was neither here nor there. She was pretty sure that Lucia wouldn't be complaining much about it, anyway.

Though then the lesson on a Necrofex began and Luna immediately began learning new things. She had no clue that it was possible for a ship and a crew to stay together after they'd died and been destroyed, though it sounded like the basis for things like ghost pirates and ghost ships, like she'd seen on TV and in movies sometimes, which was pretty neat.

"So we have to reassemble the ship first, or something? I guess that would make sense, since it sounds like the kind of thing that has to happen in life and then effects how it exists after death."
She looked at all the gathered material, her ears flattening against her head at the thought of so much work.

"Okay then! I guess we can also put this new body of mine through it's paces! See how strong I am and how much physical endurance I've got. I think with Martial Arts and all my racial traits, I should be pretty beastly, at least physically speaking."

She winked, leaning forwards to give Lucia a kiss on the cheek.

With a small smile, Lucia shook her head, the thought of dying wasn't comforting to her at least despite it's possible advantages for her. "I won't go dying so easily, I won't participate in anything with a real heavy risk of death at least. If I did I would miss you too much." She spoke reaching up to pet the girl simply hoping it might soothe her fears. After all despite Lucia finding the game to be more of a home and safe place then reality, she still had people in reality that needed her, things she had to do. Perhaps when she was old and grey her and Luna might take that chance together, but until then, there was no use in being too aggressive.

Being asked about assembling the ship first, that was unfortunately a part of the trial and error involved in the process. She wasn't sure, after all very few ships that became necrofexes were actually whole, therefore did they need to be whole and then sink? Or did they need to just sink and be rubble? Maybe just the emotion was enough. Lucia wasn't certain, but she had all of the materials required to experiment. "It'll be something of a trial and error process dear. I can't quite be certain which it is in truth..." She couldn't help explaining somewhat bitterly. Despite her know how she was trying to imitate a natural phenomena after all; how a necrofex formed in the wild was anyone's guess but the core components had all been gathered for the sake of trying.

The kiss made her chuckle though, leaning down to give Luna one in turn she stroked the girl's hair as she glanced over the materials once again. "We'll figure it out together, plus I'm already very aware of how physical your body is anyway." She chuckled ruffling the girl's hair as she snickered. After all, Lucia would dare say there was no one in the world who knew Luna better then her, at least, she certainly hoped so. "Are you all limber though? Ready for work? If you wanted to warm up or stretch now's the time." She teased.

That was definitely a relief, knowing that Lucia wasn't planning on just throwing herself at potentially dangerous situations, though she wasn't entirely convinced that Lucia wouldn't occasionally underestimate something, or consider the risk worth it for something. She could only imagine that Lucia would likely risk anything, if it were to prove her opinions and beliefs about the game and its gods correct. Possibly. It wasn't like they could understand exactly how the other thought, as much as Luna wished they had that kind of ability, shared between them.

"Trial and error, huh? I guess that's the best we can do. Making the ship, having something forge a close connection with it, then sinking the ship sounds like it might do the job." She hummed in thought, a finger on her chin as she tried to think it over. She was far from being as smart as Lucia was, honestly she felt like she was only really good as extra muscle, but she could at least try to come up with ideas to help the woman out, rather than just stand around and receive orders like a mindless drone. Lucia had enough of those as it was anyway and they were never in short supply.

"Maybe we could use Astramancy to help expediate the process of forging that bond? Maybe having their fates uniquely tied together would substitute well for the bond needed in life?"

That being said, when Lucia teased her about how intimate she was with the tigress' body, Luna blushed and chuckled, rubbing at the back of her neck in slight embarrassment. She hopped to her feet. "I could maybe do some stretches, if you don't mind waiting a minute or two?"

If she was given the okay, she would turn around, before doubling over, grabbing her ankles rather than simply touching her toes, before she then did the same, only grabbing the back of her ankles, bending backwards.

And if she gave Lucia a bit of a seductive wiggle, a bounce and a wink? Well that was just a bonus.
