Task: N/A
Location: Room 3
Emotional State: Surprised
State: Normal
After the battle and watching the last few goblins escape with their lives, he felt like taking a break, having used a decent portion of his energy reserves yet before he could do so, he found himself a little taken back when Zaku approached him, telling him things he could remember. They fought together? When? Why? He didn't remember any of this...and did he say friends? Oh hell no, he definitely would have remembered If he had a friend like him, and It wasn't as If his old self would have tolerated his ass. Just the thought alone would have probably been enough for his old self to kill him. Though he was eying the man with great skepticism, his demeanor changed changed quite a bit when he cited the honor the two had showed each other, not only in the past but now as well. He still couldn't put his finger on who he was but he couldn't argue with what he was saying. This only made him nod in agreement, though on the opposite side of things, once he finished with his nod, he made a hand gesture supporting the otherwise, opposite.

While I can appreciate your effort for taking grave affairs such as this seriously, as well as taking a oath of honor, your words are wasted on me....for I am no longer the Duke of Ivalice, the Duke of Southern Astorea. That said, I won't turn away a warrior who wishes to do good. It's not every day you find a warrior with honor or one that follows a rigid, moral code.
After he said those words, he took a moment to collect his thoughts. In the end, he ended up going quiet as he tilted his head ever so slightly and began caressing the tip of his head chin. He was really curious who he was. After what he said about honor, It really made him curious on who he was originally. Out of all the individuals he had met in this world, there had only been three individuals he had meet that clung to the concepts of "honor" and two of them were female, one being his wife and the other being her retainer, that only left...Vartock....WAIT? VARTOCK? Upon this realization, his eyes shot up for a moment at the man, widen as they could be. It was almost believable for a moment....than he remembered he had the ability to change his appearance once he logged in for the first time. This made his pupils go around the edge of his eyes, giving off the vibe he had just remembered something, and that he was a idiot. Regardless, once he returned to normal a minute later, he ended up glaring at the man with curious eyes.

If what you said was true, than there's one thing I need to ask of you....Are you by chance...Vartock?
He said that as If he was careful, not wanting to step on a potential egg shell. Though, in good old fashion Risa fashion, before he could continue, he found himself interrupted by her equally curious tone, causing him to turn his attention on her.

Wait....You know him Master?
He nodded in response.

Yeah, something like that.
Like before, he was interrupted before he could finish but this time, instead of it being his maid, It was Zaku this time, whom to both of their shock, used the opportunity to apologize. This caused him to shift his head over his shoulder and turn towards Risa whom, much to his shock, was acting as she usually did, prim and proper, though he could see a slight arrogant smug in the middle of her smile. She was clearly enjoying this to some extent.

Your most welcome...Zaku...and I wish the same for you and Master, but as you requested, I have a name as well. It's Risa, so I would much rather prefer that over being called a "Bat" maiden.
He sighed before putting his hands on his hips.

I'd hate to cut this short and all but we got a job to do. These goblins won't slay themselves now.
Upon this realization, Risa nodded with a "Right" before taking her place at her Master's side, ready to push. In return, as he turned to face the next corridor that would undoubtly take them to the next room, he made a hand gesture for the two to follow as he began to make his way over. A few minutes down the corridor, he found himself correct as the moment the three found themselves at the end of the corridor, they found themselves now in a different room, this one littered with makeshift beds...and cages with large rats? No matter, It was only seconds before the three heard the roars and groans of the...
