Of the many reasons and people that made Ruby decide to run away after the Red Fever events, one of the most prominent for her seeking to run away was Sol. The one that was the reason she stayed back to protect with all her strengths, and yet, it was the one she failed to save the most.
Out of everyone, she was probably the one Ruby was the most ashamed of trying to meet again. Sol was her friend, of course, but was also someone Ruby considered to have let down.
Probably it was just things out of Ruby's mind, and Sol didn't really bother about it. But still, Ruby held guilt she could only ever solve whenever the two of them met. And even then... The chances were slim. That didn't mean Ruby would run away forever, and as proof of her finally giving in to it, Ruby charged deep into the core of the issue at some point, inviting Sol to meet up at Finweald.
Tugging her hood to hide her face slightly, Ruby rested her back against a wall, waiting patiently, and concerned, for Sol's appearance.
