Naomi was, surprising to some, well versed in the many foreign, and alternative musical experiences. When Dayeong first walked on stage, Naomi almost didn't recognise the girl who had just been talking to her mere moments ago. Her jaw had dropped, the music heard as if from far away, the voices around her not quite gone, but certainly not the focus of her attention. For a time - Naomi wasn't sure how long - she only stared, mesmerised.

Almost as soon as it had started, the feeling disappeared. Once again she was aware, hearing the music, the voice around her - and catching sight of the jacket being thrown, the man next to her leaping and catching it before handing it off to the blonde with them. Almost on instinct, Naomi shouted to the other two, her voice raised even though the noise around them had dulled.

"Hey, do you think she's going to want that back? We should totally take it back to her after she's done!"

Her eyes landed on the black haired man again, something about him felt familiar in a way that she couldn't quite describe, or properly pinpoint. It was if she knew him from another time, another place. Her eyes lingered for a brief moment, before turning back to the performance, putting the confusing situation aside for the time being.

Once the performance had ended, Naomi lingered, waiting for everyone else to leave. She passed a few words back and forth with the other two - Ari and Val, she'd come to learn as she'd taken a few moments to actually listen to them.

"Alright...now that everyone's gone, should we go find Dayeong? I bet she's itching to get her jacket back! Come on, we should probably tell her how amazing her performance was too, famous people like that right?"

She gave a beaming smile before skipping off, excited at the prospect of finding her new friend, her famous friend apparently, and letting her know how much she'd enjoyed the performance. Her happiness carrying her forward, she spotted the star in the distance, exiting from what was likely the back stage access. Rushing forwards, she threw her arms around Dayeong, leaping up to reach the slightly taller girl's shoulders.

"That! Was! Amazing! I mean you're a famous star so of course it was amazing. But that was amazing! Like really, really, really amazing! Like unbelievably amazing! I had no idea you could - I mean it makes sense that you could - but I had no idea that you could sing so amazingly! Oh! Oh! That blonde girl has your jacket, too!"

She waved at the blonde with the jacket, trying to draw Dayeong's attention towards her.

"Hey, do you think she's going to want that back?"
"Ah, r-right...! Yeah, we definitely should."

She had been holding the blazer close to her chest, still a bit awestruck at the fact that it was even in her hands to begin with—that just wasn't a thing that ever happened to Valeria before, when the voice of Naomi had snapped the blonde from her stupor. A look was given to Ari then, the girl mouthing a quiet "Sorry..." along with an apologetic look, but considering Dayeon's friend was with them it wouldn't feel right to keep the green jacket after all.

For the rest of DAYEONSONG's performance the blonde continued to move and sway with the rhythm of the songs she did know, on occasion joining in with the crowd when certain English lyrics popped up, and generally having a good time until the spectacle finally came to a close.

* * * * *

"Alright...now that everyone's gone, should we go find Dayeong?"

They lingered back as DAYEONSONG's concert came to a close, allowing the rest of the crowd to slowly begin to disperse enough that they didn't need to weave through them in order to reach the part of the stage that lead to the backstage. "Yeah, we definitely have to congratulate her on an amazing performance~" The jacket was carefully cradled in the blonde's arms, having been folded up loosely at some point in time before the last song ended.

Before Valeria had noticed Dayeon the purple-haired girl besides them had shot forwards, her arms wrapping around the singer's shoulders for a tackled hug that caused Valeria to chuckle softly. "Your friend really adores you, Dayeon~" Given Naomi's interactions with the singer the blonde had no way of knowing that the pair had only met today—the folded jacket extended forwards for the woman to take as Ari and Val walked over to where Dayeon and Naomi were.

"I have to agree with Naomi, your concert was simply fabulous—and that new single?! I'll be listening to it on repeat in my Spotify, that's for sure~!"

Trick people into dying? Danielle raised a brow. Did Chelsea (@Lady N) have some immensely deep-seated grudge against idols or something? Sure, there were some who were liable to milk their fans dry in order to sell merch and make money, but most of the time, they weren't out there to financially ruin people who liked their music.

Still, it wasn't the sort of topic that the short-haired woman wanted to touch upon right this moment. After all, half her purpose for inviting Chelsea was to give the workaholic a break, not to debate her over subjects that would probably just send her up in a tizzy! She settled for hooking her arm around her's instead, bumping hips. "C'mon now, none of that work talk," Danielle sang, "Haven't there been enough studies out there already? 'bout how being on the grind for too long would just make you less productive on the long run? Crack open a couple beers with me and let's just enjoy the sun!"

Of course, the benefit of working out often meant that Danielle could comfortably 'encourage' the petite CEO to come with her, regardless of grumpy protests or not. Together, they hit up the drink stalls fairly quickly, Danielle insistent on paying for drinks this time 'round, before...

"Oh hey! If saccarchine idols aren't you thing, Chels, how 'bout edgier ones?"

It had just lingered in the background, but the song, no, the cadence and style felt familiar, in the way that Kpop was wont to be when filtered through individual styles. Perhaps it was coincidence, of course, perhaps she was even just imagining things, but if it wasn't?

Then it'd be funny.

"Heyo," Danielle waved with her beer (half-emptied, so it wasn't a disastrous spill. "Don't suppose you did something like a bardcore Barbie Girl in recent memory, didja? (@Moonsong)"

"T-Thanks, Ari...!" the girl stammered out, her cheeks slowly turning rosy as she looked at him with a soft smile of her own. Smiling back the man's eyes darted between hers, the vivid magenta color flickering with the lights of the stage, and her lips, just a hint of light pink lipstick coating them. His eyes eventually locked back onto hers, and as if urged by some unseen magnetic force, Ari leaned in closer towards her, ever so slowly.

"Hey, do you think she's going to want that back? We should totally take it back to her after she's done!"

Naomi's voice cut above the loud music, startling the man, who straightened back up like he'd just been shouted at by a nun at a monastery.

"Ah, r-right...! Yeah, we definitely should." Valeria replied before turning to Ari and mouthing an apology to him. The man just gave a wry chuckle in reply, rubbing the back of his neck before turning back to the stage to watch for the performance. What exactly was it that she was apologizing for?

"Alright...now that everyone's gone, should we go find Dayeong? I bet she's itching to get her jacket back!"

For a moment, Ari thought to remind Naomi that performers didn't throw things into the crowd they expected to get back, but in the end decided to keep his trap shut. After all, what did he really know? "Sure. Lead the way, Naomi," the man said instead after Valeria had also expressed a desire to congratulate DAYEONSONG.

Ari followed closely behind the two women, careful to not get too separated from either of them. When the trio had finally found the idol, Ari couldn't help but blink in surprise as Naomi launched herself at the other woman. 'Huh. They must be close,' Ari thought to himself as he watched the exchange.

"You performed really well up there," Ari agreed with the two women as he and Val approached, his hands in his pockets. "Uh, we thought you might want your jacket back," the man added with a nervous chuckle.

Dayeon Song

As the performance ended, Dayeon looked at the nearest
nv1H4ph.jpg
camera and gave it a finger heart while grinning wide. That ought to make a good thumbnail, she thought. Before exiting the stage, she didn't forget to thank the audience once again, bowing deep towards the crowd.

The girl went out backstage, still in her performance getup as the shirt she wore from the morning was too drenched. What surprised her was that Naomi(@Kyra Vashtana) was already waiting for her just a few feet outside along two tagalongs; her friends, maybe? What was even more surprising was that the purple-haired woman suddenly leaped and put her hands around the idol.

"I never thought you were the touchy type, Naomi." Dayeon chuckled, before looking at the two (@Luthien & @Yugam) behind the woman, extending her hands to ask for their names. "Dayeon. You guys friends with Naomi?" She noticed that the blonde girl that was holding her green jacket was the same one who recognized her before during the Luis Fonsi stage.

"Yeah, she's adorable, isn't she?" The idol responded to the blonde, referring to Naomi. "It's only a single right now, but I'll work my way up to a full English album. Thank you for supporting me." She bowed as a token of appreciation, before jokingly asking how Valeria recognized her amidst the crowd despite her Clark Kent method of anonymity "By the way, how did you see through the disguise? I am very convinced that the glasses worked, but apparently, they didn't."

Again, she thanked the black-haired man for the praise. "Thank you." Before looking at Valeria and Ari. back and forth as he mentioned that she might want her jacket back. "Oh, no, no. You can keep it." The idol smiled, "I bought that four years ago with my first pay. Now I feel like I have outgrown the jacket." Pointing at the jacket, the girl whispered a joke to the blonde girl, before laughing at her own joke. "Hope it doesn't smell."

The surprise didn't end there. A blonde, short-haired girl approached her while greeting casually, with a rather petite girl following behind her. Scanning the girls twice, the idol could say with almost absolute certainty that she didn't know any of them. At least before one girl mentioned something only a few key people knew.

Don't suppose you did something like a bardcore Barbie Girl in recent memory, didja?

Tick, tock. The clock in her head spun back to that moment months ago. There were only four players at that tavern. Fiora? Way too eloquent to be her. Celestine? The speech pattern is too different. That leaves with only...

That would make sense, especially if she could pinpoint her identity by just listening to her song. Still, there's too much difference between the presumed in-game appearance and the girl that is now standing in front of her, beer in hand. Okay, maybe not all people are like herself (or Kyra) that lazily made their in-game avatar the same. But maybe she can slip one or two obscure references.

"Hmm, I can't seem to remember." Dayeon smiled coyly, almost grinning at the girl (@Cain Darlite), before continuing. "It felt like the last of my recent memories were floating; gliding through the cosmos. Like I was getting star-stuck."

Although the girl always made a habit of looking people people directly into the eyes it wasn't often that others did it back to her, for whatever reason that was. So when Ari's gaze focused straight on her own Valeria was caught by surprise, the girl still as her head tilted just slightly to one side in small curiosity. Was there something in her face...?

Ari's eyes shifted downwards momentarily before returning back into looking her own once more, the girl about to utter a word when Valeria realized he had started to slowly lean closer towards her. ". . . !" For a moment everything around them had quieted down, the blonde only aware of the sound of her own heartbeat that thrummed in her ears, the beats picking up pace the closer Ari came to her... that is until the sound of Naomi's voice had seemingly broken the spell, startling Valeria as she quickly broke eye contact with the raven-haired boy besides her while the color on her cheeks increased tenfold.

"Ah, r-right...! Yeah, we definitely should."

"We just bumped into Naomi earlier in the Luis Fonsi crowd actually, you know how rowdy they can get at times." The blonde couldn't help but grin widely as Dayeon confirmed the purple-haired woman's adoableness, nodding in agreement before her eyes sparkled in excitement. "Really?! Oh, I cant wait to hear all of it—bet it's gonna be absolutely amazing, Dayeon!"

As the brunette switched the topic towards how Valeria had managed to recognize her the girl couldn't help but rub the back of her neck nervously. "A-Actually I think it worked really well... if Naomi hadn't bumped into us, and we hadn't been so close to one another, I don't think I would've been able to recognize you." It had been nothing but sheer dumb luck, mixed with being at the right place and the right time.

"I can keep it...? Really?!" There was a delighted squeal as the girl hugged the green article closer to her chest in response. "Thanks, Dayeon~" Another pause, as the blonde debated for a moment, before finally uttering a request. "C-Could I have it signed by you...? If you don't mindofcourse!!!"

Two others had approached then (@Cain Darlite & @Lady N), the short haired blonde addressing the singer, and Valeria took a step back and closer to Ari in order to make space and not be in the middle of their conversation. Her shoulder softly bumped against his and, with the original excitement of getting a few words in with one of her favorite singers now slowly ebbing away, the touch was enough to elicit a renewed blush on her cheeks before Valeria looked towards him with a sheepish smile.

"Pretty cool day so far, r-right~?"

For the most part, Ari just stood to the side and allowed Valeria to enjoy her time gushing over the idol, a bundle of energy being released all at once. Although, based on what little Ari knew of Valeria so far, she probably had more to spare.

When thanked by the idol for his support, Ari didn't give more than a smile and a nod. The whole 'nice to meet you' thing wasn't really something he was good at it. And that was with normal people, let alone an idol. The man did blink in surprise, however, when the singer told Valeria that she could keep the jacket. "Thank you very much!" Ari said, expressing both their gratitude.

As another blonde girl, one with much shorter hair, approached and began to speak to the idol, the pair took a step back, making some space for the three to speak. The raven-haired man felt Valeria bumped shoulders with him, and when he looked at her, she had a small smile on her face, cheeks rosy with heat as she spoke.

"Yeah. Pretty cool day," the man replied with a kind smile, before wrapping an arm around her shoulders and pulling her close.

The others had carried on a conversation, Naomi content just to sit back and listen, watching as they socialised. Like normal people. This is what normal people do, they don't hide away in their homes and play games all day and try and forget the real world. Like some weirdo. Her comfort switched as another pair arrived, seemingly challenging the popstar with some sort of question. Naomi could see the sudden tension in the girl's body - the popstar might be good at hiding their emotions for the most part, but there was always a tell, if you knew where to look.

"Hey uh...Ari, Val - if you two don't have any other plans, maybe we can all hang out for the day? I think there's some more performances set for later on, and I...well, if Dayeong isn't busy or anything maybe we can check out some of the other venues, or things...?"

She'd managed to perch herself on a nearby railing, her feet swinging beneath her like some sort of child as she smiled at the group. Whatever this was, she wasn't quite ready to have it end, not yet. It wasn't often that she spent time with other people - well, in fact that almost never occurred - but now that she was, she found she was rather enjoying the moment.

"Unless you guys have other plans...which is totally cool and I get that! Just thought it might be fun..."

Oh great now Danielle was bullying her.
Chelsea needed to work.

How else would she even function? What else was there? What else did she need?

Boo, the answer was probably something annoying and very stupid.

Surrendering pretty easily to the blonde's whims. The two would make their way towards a group. A group that just so consisted of a very notable musical figure or two, she didn't keep track. Normally fans would just drop dead or scream like 5 year-olds at such an opportunity much like a certain woman was right now stuttering like a stupid. However, Chelsea could meet a famous person if she wanted to just by paying for it.

It was how she hired Vtubers and other stars to help with the less... illegal guide creation and such. So this wasn't that special, still, she never met Daeyon Song in person so this was new if anything...

The comment about liking edgy music made her cringe tho. Now she was a GOTH? Chelsea certainly had a very bad presentation it seemed. No wonder she was alone all the... well whatever.

"I'm Chelsea."

Her soft voice probably didn't get heard but she would at least make an effort to avoid more annoying nudges from Danielle. The comment may be blunt enough to be noticed through the vague wordplay that looked to be going on between the two. Cosmos and stars... what? If she was supposed to not be working fine.. be to the point then! Wordplay and social skills were for her ventures into wealthy gatherings to deal with snobs, not a festival. All these people... admittingly it bothered her. She could handle it if they were listening to her at a meeting or separate in some way. Stage fright was not an issue but being surrounded... yeesh.

She then realized they may have recognized each other from that game...
Sometime Chelsea could be quite oblivious.

Her eyes glanced at the others here. They all seemed so happy. Chelsea wondered if she could be again. Her suit's current problem would make her happy... but that was like a drug. It was unnatural and dangerous like everything else in that game.

She looked at the undrunk liquor she held. She really didn't drink. But maybe she could try to just get along this once...

Urgh... it was disgusting.
Was she cursed to just be the deadpan killjoy forever? Why did she even care...?

The request from a purple woman sounded good to her. Staying busy would be best.

"I agree with her."

She said with a nod.

Dayeon Song

"It's Luis Fonsi, who wouldn't get excited?" The girl in pink chuckled. She thought Naomi was adorable, but the way this blonde girl is fangirling is also melting her; reminded her of the early days. "Of course, bring it here." She grabbed a silver marker from her carry bag, autographing the left chest part of the suit jacket.
The girl had never autographed a piece of clothing before, so it felt really weird.

"Name?" Dayeon asked Valeria (@Luthien), before adding a small writing under her autograph that reads "For Valeria." Twirling the marker, the idol handed back the green jacket to the fan.

Naomi then suggested that they hang around together and check the things on the Summerfest. Not a bad idea, actually. "I don't have anything else today, so I'm actually fine with Naomi's idea." Her eyes wandered to the blonde girl and the black-haired man, who seemed much closer than she thought initially. "If that's fine with you guys as well? Don't want to intrude on your date." She assumed with a smile.

Dayeon looked at the other pair who had just come, speaking to the short-haired girl (@Cain Darlite) as if they knew each other before. The smaller girl behind her who looked like she was being pulled by the other introduced herself without any protests.

"What about you guys? Wanna tag along? Grab snacks, drinks, and listen to the jam together. How's that sound?"

Surprisingly, Chelsea (@Lady N) was the first one to agree. Would've never seen that coming, just by looking at her. Dayeon gave a thumbs up at her, before looking back at Danielle.

"Right?! Despacidos was really cool, but imo nothing beats the original Despacito~"

Her excitement was akin to that of a child who'd just been allowed to run supervision-free around a candy store, the blonde having quickly handed the green jacket over to Dayeon when she motioned for it. "It's V-Valeria...!" There was a high pitch to the end of her words that the blonde hadn't meant for, but could anyone really blame Valeria considering how excited she seemed to be right now?

She signed it... I can't believe she signed it~!

The autographed article of clothing was held hold to her chest now, a precious treasure that Valeria hadn't dreamed of ever getting when the day had begun, before she felt the weight of an arm wrap around her shoulders and pull the blonde closer. It caused her heart to flutter in response, but the motion was still reciprocated in kind as the blonde's arm softly wrapped around the back of Ari as they stood closer to one another.

"I don't have anything else today, so I'm actually fine with Naomi's idea. If that's fine with you guys as well? Don't want to intrude on your date."
"Y-Yeah, that's actually fine...!"

Valeria's blush immediately increased as Dayeon suggested the pair were out on a date, now reaching all the way to the tip of her ears, though there was no attempt made by the girl to deny any such claims as she spoke. "R-Right...?" Valeria couldn't believe the amazing luck she had seemingly been blessed with today, her gaze looking over at Ari with a puppy like stare as she hoped the man wouldn't have an objection to the proposed plan by Naomi and now Dayeon.

The decision made, Naomi hopped down from the barrier, crossing towards Dayeong and sliding a hand through her arm before locking the other's arm in her own. Smiling at the group, Naomi waved at the area around them, gesturing broadly with her free right hand.

"Soooo...where do we wanna go? There's a lot going on here. Does anyone have any specific shows they want to see? Anything that they came here specifically for?"

She seemed to ponder for a moment, her head tilted to the left - oddly close to Dayeong's shoulder as her purple hair shifted - before bouncing on her toes slightly, bouncing Dayeong's arm as she held onto it.

"I'm just here to see Stirling, when she comes on. Well, I mean I'm here to...enjoy the venue and everything else around here, but I specifically came to see her. Although..."

A quick glance up towards the girl she was hanging off of, a beaming smile on her face.

"...I have to say the extra performances I've seen have been spectacular. Just absolutely amazing. I was super, super lucky to come across them when I did - even if the...err...introduction to them was...well, anyways."

Her face seemed to flush slightly as she looked away, suddenly tugging on Dayeong's arm as she tried to get the girl moving.

"Come on...we can't just stand here forever! We're gonna miss all the fun and the shows and...whatever else this plays has to offer!"

Skipping alongside Dayeong, she tried to force the group into motion.

Valeria was practically squealing the entire time as Dayeong signed the jacket for the girl, an amused smile pulling back at Ari's lips as he watched the whole exchange. One that only stretched a little wider as the girl leaned into his side, slipping an arm around his back, her soft touch felt even through the layer of clothing he wore.

Just as before, Naomi was the one to encourage the group to go and do something all together. An offer that not only surprised the man, but made him nervously excited. It wasn't everyday that an average joe like himself bumped shoulders with the rich and famous, and though he wasn't one to put those kind of interactions up on a pedestal, he would've been lying if he said the opportunity wasn't the least bit enticing.

"I don't have anything else today, so I'm actually fine with Naomi's idea," Dayeong then said, turning towards himself and Valeria. "If that's fine with you guys as well? Don't want to intrude on your date."

Ari made no attempt to correct the idol, and neither did Valeria. That was a good sign. Right? Right. Looking over at the girl, the man wasn't the least bit surprised when she stuttered out an agreement, before looking at him with big, pleading eyes. "R-Right...?"

Ok, now how could he say 'no' to that?

"Once in a lifetime opportunity, right?" the man answered back with a small shrug and lopsided smile.

Surprisingly, the rather dour looking woman who had joined them alongside the short-haired blonde, spoke up, conveying in her own way that she was up to waste her time with them all.

And just like that, they were all being chaperoned back into the festival proper by Naomi, the older woman already acting like the excitable mother of the motley crew. "Uh, Porter isn't playing until tomorrow, so we can kinda go see anyone. Lindsey Sterling would be pretty fun," he agreed with the woman.

"Once in a lifetime opportunity, right?"
"Mhmm!"

She couldn't help the wide grin that spread on her face, eagerly agreeing with Ari's statement. The fact he hadn't tried to correct Dayeon's statement wasn't lost to the blonde, and the arm that wasn't wrapped around the back of the man unconsciously clutched the green jacket closer to her chest. There was no denying it, she liked him... and going by the signs it seemed he did, too?

"Oh! You also listen to Lindsey, Naomi?" The woman had mentioned magical words for Valeria, earning the blonde's attention as a smile played on her lips. "I love her music too, she's the reason I decided to learn violin growing up~"

Porter was schedule for late evening tomorrow and Illenium was further along in the week, also performances that Valeria didn't plan on missing out, but for today it seemed that Lindsey Stirling could be one the group could share together... if she was of interest to the others as well. A soft giggle left the blonde as she watched the slightly smaller girl hang onto Dayeon—they really were a super close pair of friends—before a nod was given to Chelsea and her blonde friend.

"Time to make some unforgettable memories this summer~"

After all that's what summer was all about... right?

Dayeon Song

"Lindsey's slot is in the evening, so we got much time before it starts,"
Dayeon explained, "Let's go grab something light to eat then? I'm quite famished after the performance." She threw an idea, looking at the others for approval.

She reacted at the purple-haired woman pulling her arm. "Where did this initiative come from?" The idol chuckled "You were stuttering half an hour ago." Maybe friendly people were all she needed to get comfortable. And to the idol's surprise, the people she stumbled onto were all nice. Also coincidentally, they were people she recognized in-game.

Very suspicious indeed. But as long as no one slips up about the game.

It's already late in the afternoon. Food trucks and stands already filled the golf course area, along with people sitting in portable chairs and mats. "Ooh, they already set things up. There's a corndog stall too! I'm grabbing the mozzarella one, you guys want any?" The girl then proceeded to order a number of corndogs regardless, before distributing them to the party. Even if some of them just have eaten. There's nothing wrong with a little more snack.

"Here, here, and here. Oh, don't forget to have some drinks too. It's scorching hot." She passed bottled and canned cold drinks to the group. Dayeon looked at Valeria's date, who is the only guy in the group. There are a lot of black-haired protagonists with harem in manhwas, but he gives off a different vibe. Perhaps they've met? "I don't think I have your name yet." She spoke to the guy (@Yugam), before tossing him a can of cold soda, the same way she threw a drink at the Star Charting event in-game weeks ago.

Naomi's feet tapped on the ground as she pulled Dayeong alongside her, essentially dragging the poor star along as she skipped down the pathway, her heart racing as she forced her expression and behaviour to appear calm.

The sudden outcry from Valeria, regarding their own enjoyment of Stirling made Kyra spin - almost causing her to stumble into Dayeong as she did so. Releasing the star for the moment, Kyra suddenly began jumping up and down - noticing from the corner of her eye as Dayeong slipped away towards a corndog stall - her hands held in front of her and a look of pure ecstasy on her face.

"Oh! Oh that's amazing! I've been to all of her local concerts, and have all of her music, and I've even attended a few of the local communal events she hosted, when she was in the area. Oh and a few years ago, she came up and did this whole thing with the local Native community, and they had this whole thing where they did a song and dance collection, and she was there hosting the music and bringing in all this equipment and stuff and it was so so so so awesome and she even took some time to talk to all of us individually, and we had lunch together and it was amazing and you should've been there!"

The woman literally bounced as she spoke, the cadence of her speech matching the movement of her body as her feet tapped off the ground in a rhythym that could only be described as chaotically quick. Her face seemed to suddenly shine with life as she spoke, her entire aura having changed in a moment.

Suddenly she realised that Dayeong had slipped away - turning just in time to have a corndog passed her way.

"Ohthanks!"

She took a few bites of the piece, before pausing suddenly, her entire body frozen as she stared at the thing for a moment, a look of confusion on her face.

"What...what is this?"

Valeria practically beamed back at the man when he'd agreed to hang out with the idol and her ever growing entourage. Or maybe they were all turning into Naomi's entourage. It didn't really matter though. This was the most social interaction Ari had had in ages, and if he was still seeing his therapist, the woman would've probably said that was a good thing. But that didn't really matter either. The girl who's shoulders he had wrapped his arm around? She was the one that mattered right now, the one he wanted to spend time with.

While Valeria and Naomi talked about Lindsey Stirling (or rather, while Naomi bounced up and down like an excitable puppy as she regaled them with stories about the woman), Ari's eyes kept drifting back to Dayeon. Her face kept ringing a bell in his head, and not because she'd popped up on his Spotify every now and again. No, there was a part of Ari that was dead certain that he'd met her before. Where, he couldn't quite put his finger on though...

Naomi was the same. Ari just couldn't shake the feeling that she really was Kyra Vashtana. The strange healer he'd slowly become friends with in-game. The one who'd he'd quite literally stumbled across in the middle of a refugee camp and had passed out in front of him, only to wake up and try to play therapist with him a few minutes later. The likeness was just too uncanny.

It wasn't until they'd wandered over to the corndog stand that Ari was able to get his answer regarding Dayeon. The woman started to pass around cold cans and bottles. "I've got a ton of water too, if we need it," Ari offered just before the idol tossed a can his way while uttering a question. That brief image of the woman throwing the can. The way she moved her body, the arc of the can through the air. It was all exactly the same as when he'd met a woman named Moonsong at Lake Horatio weeks earlier. The recognition must've showed up on his face as he caught the can. "Ari," he introduced himself, knowingly introducing himself in the same manner he had at the lake. "Pleasure to meet you."

"No way! Wow Naomi, that's amazing!" The blonde listened attentively as the older woman narrated the various chances she'd had to see the violinist—including the opportunity to actually have lunch and a chat with the songwriter herself! "Trust me, I wish I would've been able to share that experience with you!"

They walked and talked as Dayeon seemed to be on the lookout for something that appealed to her palate, the blonde happy to converse with Naomi even as her arm remained loosely wrapped around Ari's back—a thumb having quietly snuggled it's way into one of the belt loops for comfort.

"She visited Puerto Rico once when I was little, got to see her on tv then as she was performing. It was absolutely breathtaking, and after that I often spent hours just watching her music videos on YouTube while trying to mimic her dance style~"

It had been sheer luck that her school had a musical program available, and from there she'd been able to learn the basics of the violin... though any additional knowledge had been hard earned as Valeria could continue to spent a lot of her free time into self studying this newfound passion of hers.

"It wasn't until I moved to Michigan that I got the chance to attend one of her concerts personally, and man they sure are something else. It really isn't the same listening to her play versus actually seeing her perform live."

It was then her arm was forced away from Ari's waist as Valeria now found herself holding a mozzarella corndog of her own along with a soda can, despite Valeria's attempt to protest the food Dayeon had simply refused to take no for an answer before she continued passing treats to the others present. A pleading look was given towards Ari then, hoping that he'd be willing to help her out with this newfound treat, before she felt his arm slip away from her shoulders as the man caught the can of soda tossed in his direction. The pout on her face was almost instant, before Naomi's question had the blonde turning to look at the woman with a confused expression.

"... you've never had a corndog before, Naomi?"

“Sounds like you visited a planetarium after a couple too many shots,” Danielle winked back. That more or less confirmed it in her eyes, but it was also just an excuse to hook up with some new people anyhow. This ‘Dayeon’ (@Moonsong) lady certainly did look so much more similar to Moonsong up close though, in a way that almost made her wonder if her own avatar was an oddity in Terrasphere. Gwyn and Sabine. Seigi and Raina. Magi Heart and Wendy. All these people, with the ability to be anyone they wanted, only to ultimately settle on being themself.

“But yeah, it’d be great to hang out with y’all. I’m Danielle Song, and Chelsea over there already intro’d herself. Nice to meet y’all, ye?” The tempo of this group was quite f- wait, shit. Danielle rubbed her eyes, then let out a half-laugh. That purple-haired woman, wasn’t that more or less @Kyra Vashtana? Shit, this day was both a coincidence from hell and further evidence that all those lessons about not meaninglessly showing your real face on the internet was fundamentally forgotten about in the advent of social media.

Which reminded him...that guy. That black-haired guy. Wasn’t he that super-emo hemo dude (@Yugam) from the insect mom?

Danielle downed her can of beer, grimacing slightly at the taste. “Yeah,” she said, noticing Chelsea’s (@Lady N) own expression. “This ain’t that great, is it? I’ll intro you to some sweeter combos after. Any fruit juices you’re into?”

It looked like the others were enthused enough about that showy Violintuber, but with the gap in scheduling thus far, Danielle was willing to step into the torrent of conversation once more. “Heyo, with Stirling’s performance popping up in the evening, y’all interested in checking out Monster Siren’s Operations over at the Delacorte Theater? They’ve usually got a pretty wide selection of genres on their setlist.”

Dayeon Song

"Danielle Song, Dayeon Song." She couldn't stop herself from laughing at her own pun. "Seems like song is in our blood." It's fresh to see the player behind the ever-so theatrical Cain is vastly different from the in-game persona. The others, on the other hand...

From the interaction, she can confirm that Ari is the Yu guy she met back at the lake. Hell, he even looked one hundred percent identical, while Naomi is just Kyra without the ears. Chelsea and Valeria are also most likely players too.

What's with today? At least it won't get any weirder.

"Try it. It's essentially a big cheese stick in a fried batter!" Dayeon explained to Naomi. "Be sure to chew thoroughly though, the cheese pull can be a problem. I almost died choking on it once." Surely, that would be very a lame way to go, that's why currently she took her time processing the street food inside her mouth.

There's still a lot of time left, and standing out here in the sun wouldn't be the smart choice. At least walking to the Delacorte Theater through the trees would give them some shade. "Monster Siren? I'm intrigued. Let's go then!"

As they slowly made their way toward the open-air theater while eating, drinking, and talking, Dayeon asked the group to learn more about these guys (actually girls and one guy). "So, because I just met you all today, where are you guys from?"
