Carrying a large sack, Hanno, along with Ghast in her disguised faerin shape, distributed Christmas-ish sweets around small villages across Falderen and Astorea, and as he crossed from a town to another, the message invaded his sight and his UI, making him blink. It was Trinity, and for a moment, he felt the urge to question about the strange encounter in the glitched place they were.

However, the sour mood she had in her at the time halted him,

'...until the day comes for us to meet again...say hi when I meet you on the road...kay?'

Hi Trinity! (Hanno grinned, tapping his foot and wondering.) Wishes... Hmmm... I want more smiles, so I will work harder next year, for many of them to cover everyone's faces. (Hanno nodded, a bit of a cheesy wish, but he couldn't think of anything else that he would like the most)

At least, I'd rather not seeing anyone looking down, including you, buddy. (He added, crouching to slap the snow until it made a small 'hill', where he gently sunk a candy cane on top of it) Happy Wintersday to you! Feel free to take it whenever, if you can.

Ghast peeked at the direction of the faerin's UI, swaying her 'tentacle-tails' before soon being noticed by Hanno, that squinted and turned it off.

No peeking. (He nudged her, adjusting the sack over his shoulder and moving away)

Te hee~ (She stuck her tongue out innocently, following the faerin)

He glanced at the UI in his palm and recalled the last time he'd been face to face with Trinity, or some version of her, in a brutal system sanctioned conflict that had ended fairly decisively. She was an AI, or at least, that was what he understood her to be, not exactly a sentient being but an intelligence that existed inside Terrasphere that could think and reason in a manner adjacent to his own, human way.

In the same way, perhaps, as the Landers could. That got him to thinking, the Landers were able to live and have their own lives, and raise children, grow old together, and inevitably pass on in the same way that people did in the other world. So then, Trinity, a consciousness that was forever married to the function of greeting, helping, and bringing warmth to the Starcalled must have been both incredibly fulfilling and incredibly lonely. Having a purpose defined for you was something he understood.

It was in rejecting one that had been predetermined for him that he came to ultimately came to find Terrasphere, ironically. So he wondered, if only for a moment, whether or not the woman Trinity- sentient or otherwise- rejected hers. If she ever had designs on leaving it behind and carving out a purpose for herself.

He let his hand linger on the message, a sad smile on his face. He knew the likelihood that out of the hundreds, that his response would find her and be enough to stand out was low. Yet if it did manage to get through to her, if Trinity were to read it, he hoped that for once...

Instead of bringing others joy, that he could give some to her.

"Hi Trinity. Erick. You probably don't remember me. You see a lot of faces, after all."

He laughed quietly as the message continued to record.

"I'm not trying to get noticed of course. You asked for my wish. You wanted something like that from me, and that's something I'd be happy to give you. It's the least I can do, with all you do for us."

Erick smiled. It wasn't like she could see him anyway. Still, smiling at that point felt more genuine. That's what he wanted to convey.

"My wish is that you find what you want," he told her, "whatever that may be. In any other life, I may have found this world, but you might not have been in it. Or maybe you would be here and not me. I admit, for all the realities I've glimpsed, there's so much I still haven't seen. Still can't see. But for my part, I'm glad you're here. All I want for Wintersday, is you."

He blinked, cheeks rosy as he realized how much like a love confession that had sounded.

But Trinity wouldn't take it that way, right?

"Anyway, thanks for hearing me out."

Trinity again...

Terrasphere's most mysterious cryptid. The only aspect of the game that seemed to cross between both worlds, considering that commercial - and the source of more than one invite.

And now she was dropping a message in his inbox. He shouldn't be surprised, and yet...

"I wonder how many other people got this message...

He could ignore it, of course. But it was the closest he'd get to talking to one of the people behind this whole mess.

Mail

...I just want people to be safe.

"Huh, what’s this?" A notice flashed on the corner of her UI, causing the elf to pause as her attention was drawn to the flashing symbol. It wasn’t often they popped up, and considering all she’d been doing was walking about the Embertorch the blonde couldn’t really think of something she might’ve done to trigger it. A finger tapped on the flashing sign as curiosity took the best of her, the ranger taking a few moments to thoroughly read the message inside as a myriad of expressions went through her face.

"Trinity… wait, this game has a mascot?"

Her brows furrowed lightly in thought as the blonde gave thought to the contents of the message, as well as the new discovery of this so-called mascot of TS. There was no denying that this game was a trove of mysteries and secrets just waiting to be discovered, but currently her brain power was more focused on one important factor: she could make a wish.

"Hmm... maybe that… pero entonces... hrrrm!"

There was no way to respond back to the message either, the notice having cleared away as soon as she’d clicked the checkmark within it, so how was she supposed to even make her wish in the first place? Crimson eyes glanced about the hallway she was currently at, no other players currently within sight or, hopefully earshot, as the elf settled on one wish in particular she hoped could come true… nothing lost with trying, right?

"H-Hey, Trinity right?" She felt a bit foolish just talking out to the air, and it showed as those elven cheeks became flushed with each passing moment. "First of all nice to meet ya, kinda… never knew this place had a mascot until now." A hand rose to scratch at her cheek softly, the blonde clearing out her throat before double-checking once more that no one else was around.

"Right, I’ll cut to the chase then. Y’see there’s a friend of mine—and a few others—that has been missing for a w-while now..." The memory of the faerin caused her chest to tighten in response, the ranger’s hands balling into tiny fists at her sides as the events of Camp Hope resurfaced within her mind. "She’s a super cute and kind girl, an excellent artist too… but we became separated back in Vintergard and, well, I know asking you to bring her back would prooobably be a bit too much, so…"

She took a deep breath to calm her nerves and rambling thoughts, but even though she felt silly and childish doing this, a part of the elf just couldn’t let the chance pass up. If something as simple as this could help their friend then any embarrassment she might feel right now was a small price to pay in return.

"Meri's a bit small and sensitive, she might be crying right now too, but she’s also really strong and resilient too sooo… could you watch over and keep her safe for us?" That was probably a more reasonable wish, there was probably no way for Trinity to teleport Meri from wherever she was back to the League after all. "And, if it’s not too much, maybe you could give us a hint that will help us find her… please?"
