Failure, in general, was something that almost all people struggled with. Not only because of the way that society rained people, but from a biological standpoint as well. In the distant past, failure of any kind likely meant death, thus, those who lived passed on genes that eventually mutated in a way, that encouraged not making such mistakes.
But the meaning of failure had transformed over the ages, and it no longer meant what it used to all that time ago. Especially in a place like this, a game with seemingly endless possibilities. Here, one person's failure truly could have always been another person's victory, and not only in the malicious, competitive sort of sense.

"That would be nice. Even if predatory animals usually do not approach the manastones, it is still quite a risk to leave one's body near one while logging out. I'd prefer to assume the best of people's intentions, but... well, it would be rather easy to do anything you want with an unresponsive magia you find lying around."
