This thread takes place after the event of Red Fever and is the second to final thread of the Recruitment Arc for the Lion Arms. The conversations here are happening face-to-face at the Lions headquarters in Finweald, which is a little barrack on the outskirt of town. It's rundown, but highly cozy thanks to the knight's efforts to use their limited funding to do all the patch job themselves and dress it up in a more presentable manner.

The Lions

• Levi can be found drowning in paperwork in his office
• Chad is training the recruits in the courtyard under Misha's watchful eyes
• Mimi is baking with Zeus in the kitchen

(Approaching @Levi Pendragon's office) 'Scuse me, Lord Commander? Do you have a minute? I wanted to introduce myself and ask a few questions about joining the Lion Arms.

(Levi's face lit up as he pushed a stack of paper aside.)

@Madison Freebird, your reputation precedes you. If it's about joining the Lions, I am an open book. What quests do you have for me?

(Madison can't decide if she should relax or stand up straight and show some decorum. She ends up doing something in between.)

That's kind of you to say. A good thing it does, too. Haven't quite had the chance to update my resume yet.

I am looking to join the Lions. I figure someone of my talents may as well be of use to someone, you know? Thing is, I'm not exactly sure I'm cut out to be part of the rank and file. A frontline defender. My skills are a little more specialized--investigations, tracking bounties, infiltration, stuff like that.

(She straightens up at last)

I was wondering if the Lions had need of someone like me.

Oh, heya there, Zeus! Mimi! (Hanno flashed a grin at both of them, nearly barging into the kitchen when feeling the warm and sweet smell of pastries)

Seems like you two are having some fun around here, huh? (He sniffed the nice scent) And doing a great job too... I hope you got a spot for another chef? There are a lot of new faces around here, so I figured we could bake the biggest cake ever so everyone can have a slice.

Ahaha... When Lions are looked at, everyone only see stalwart defenders on white horse and shining armor, but no one considers the investigative part of the role. (He sighed).

Regardless, someone with your talent would be much welcomed among our ranks. We will be issuing badges at the initiation ceremony if you would come back in three days.

With Travelers coming back to the world and new threats appearing, we're in for a lot of work. It's not all heroism as others believe. I think our partnership will greatly benefit Astorea.

(He took note of your firearm). Welcome aboard, sheriff.

(Levi extended a hand toward you).

Zeus! I think the Commander said that it was a 'Towel of Babel'!

OHO! RIGHT! TOWEL OF BABBLE! Anyways, Hanno, my boy! Heroes NEVER back AWAY from such CHALLENGES! Put on an apron!

Tower of Babel, of Babble, of anything, this will be the biggest tower ever! One for the most legendary and heroic tales. (Hanno said, nodding firmly at Zeus words, reaching for the offered apron and wearing it quickly. It felt just natural for the chef).

Six feet sounds good, but we have a knight in training here, no? (He winked at Mimi, then looked at Zeus) I think twelve feet is a better challenge!

And a much more belly filling too, for that matter.
