That depends what you consider a threat, Cleo~

She spoke in a sing-song voice, giggling slightly. After all, some people didn't deem a true statement a threat, and others wouldn't deem something potentially positive a threat. So really, could a simple mind like Harveste's tell if she was being threatening? Though since that was her aim, she was pretty happy it had worked.

Until Cleo kissed her ear again.

I told you~

With a smile, the smaller girl leaned up to plant another kiss on the woman's lips, grinning against them gently. When she pulled away, she shyly cast her gaze back to her lap, swinging her legs slightly to let out some of her excitement as she giggled.

Cleo is so warm and delightful~

She wasn't sure why she worded it like that. The tint of her face seemed to deepen slightly as she glanced upward again. Giving the softest of smiles, she managed not to break her gaze this time. It was clear on her face- she was embarrassingly happy. Adjusting herself, she scooted closer to Cleo's body in the woman's lap. Leaning a bit closer against her, she sniffed the air and kissed her one more time.

You smell nice, too. It just makes you taste that much sweeter, I think... S-Sorry, I sound like I'm treating you like a snack, don't I?

Harveste rose to the bait and fulfilled her threat, or promise, leaning up to plant another kiss on Cleo's lips, making the agent smirk and chuckle, as Harveste's gaze turned back to her lap, her legs swinging as the faerin mentioned that she was warm and delightful. It was a pretty strange compliment, but it was also very nice to hear, as Cleo had always worried that she would be too hard or serious for people to ever be interested in her.

Maybe this game had done her some good, in that regard?

Though she then received another kiss, as Harveste scooted closer to her body and sniffed the air. The next compliment was a lot stranger, making Cleo blush, though she did smirk a little.

Well, I think the lore stated that Faerin ate flesh, so maybe you're actually thinking of snacking on me~

She teased, before, throwing caution to the wind, she leaned down to plant another kiss on Harveste's lips, her face erupting into crimson as a blush took over her in her entirety.

In all seriousness, though, it's nice to be lavished with compliments like this. You're also a delight, Harveste. One I wouldn't mind tasting properly.

Huh? But I'd probably still word things the same way in person, you know? I'm not a Faerin on the other side...

For a moment, the look in her eyes went slightly blank. She was thinking too hard, taking it too seriously. It took her a minute or two to realize the words were meant to be teasing, not literal. When she did, she hugged onto Cleo a bit, puffing her cheeks.

I know you're not food, at least.

When she was kissed again by the other's volition, she could feel surprise and butterflies in her belly. The warmth overruled her sense of reason as she returned it gently, a smile remaining plastered on her face as Cleo spoke to her.

Do people not compliment you often? I find that strange. I think you're super cute, after all. But you... You're making me really excited you know? I'm going to have to work extra hard on our date now.

With a soft giggle, she rested her head against her again and fell silent. She knew what she wanted, but wasn't fully aware of how to get it. So for now, this would have to be enough, she assumed.

Wow, Harveste was really taking her teasing literally, wasn't she? It was pretty obvious that Harveste wasn't a Faerin in the real world, Cleo would have had some serious questions if the girl was after all, but she hadn't expected such literal meaning to be applied to her words and the way that she'd spoken them. Though eventually, Harveste seemed to catch on, hugging Cleo even as the faerin girl pouted at her. She quickly erased that pout with her kiss, though, which caused Harveste to smile again instead.

I usually get complimented on things such as my work ethic or how much time I'm willing to sacrifice for my work. And when people compliment me for other things, it's usually like, getting catcalled in the street.

Being catcalled could sometimes boost her ego a little bit, but more often than not, it was just unwanted and made her uncomfortable. That said, she could be a little more adventurous in this world and get away with it, couldn't she? It wasn't like there were any consequences in a video game, aside from dying of course.

So she pulled Harveste closer to her as the girl rested her head against Cleo's chest, leaning down to peck Harveste's lips again.

I'm sure that our thread will be a great time, no matter how hard you work on it!

I see. I've never been catcalled, but I've been commended on my writing speed when I'm in the zone. When I'm not, though...

She laughed nervously. Harveste had very little actual 'work ethic'- she was a writer by nature as well as by trade. When she felt she could write, she wrote like the wind. When she wasn't inspired, she did anything but.

Still, as someone with much less work ethic... I honestly find yours rather refreshing. Though, I do worry for you, too. After all, all work and no play is unhealthy. Balance is important. Overworking is bad for your health. So I'm glad you come here... Both because it means you're taking a break, and because I got to meet you this way.

Giving a cheerful grin once again, she enjoyed the closeness Cleo allowed her to feel. It was warm, inviting. And then, she was kissed again as she was resting against the woman. She giggled a bit more, squirming very slightly.

You should probably stop doing that for now... Unless you're trying to make me want more. If you are, then it's certainly working. Your kisses are sweet, after all, and I have quite the sweet tooth~

They weren't really the same thing, being catcalled and being commended for a skill, but Cleo could appreciate the attempt to find some common ground there. She snorted and shook her head, chuckling to herself.

You're not really missing out on much, trust me. Usually the kinds of people that catcall are also the kinds of people that you should never really consider giving any time or attention to, so it doesn't really matter.

Though apparently, she'd somehow managed to worry yet another person when it came to her work life balance. Why was it that everybody she spoke to was worried about that? Did she really come across as that unhealthy?

You're not the only person to demonstrate some worry about that. Do I really come across as that obsessed with work?

She chuckled, pressing her lips to Harveste's again without really thinking about what she was doing. She sighed, leaning back against her chair as she allowed her body to relax.

I see. I hope I never become one of those people. Then again, I can't whistle well anyway.

She laughed a bit, smiling as she did so. When her worry seemed to catch Cleo almost off guard, she softened a bit, kissing the woman's cheek in hopes of ebbing away some of the urges building up inside her.

I barely even know Cleo, so why do I want her so badly?

I don't know if I'd say it's an extreme worry... It's just that, you do talk about work a lot- which is totally fine- but if work is on your mind that much... It's surely stressful in a way, isn't it? It makes me want to try to find a way to relax you more.

More and more, she found herself flushed deeper red than anything she could come up with, whether it be her favorite flower or an apple. To Harveste, Cleo was adorable and interestingly dedicated. She really was a bit worried- but she worried even more about her own advances on the woman, especially when Cleo came in for another kiss.

Cleo, you're making me 'hungry'. Are you doing this on purpose?

That did make sense, she supposed, though to her it had never really felt like that. She wondered if maybe she was just used to it, or if there was perhaps soemthing different that she wasn't considering? That most people weren't considering?

I understand where you're coming from, I do, but I've never really thought of it as being stressful before. I guess it's that idea that, like, if you do what you love for a living, it never really feels like you're actually 'working' at all. It was always my dream to end up where I'm at now in my life.

Even if she'd had to give up romance to get there, though it seemed like that aspect of her life was catching up, if her recent interactions with people were anything to judge by. It was a lot easier to just do these things, to be more forward, when there weren't really any downsides.

So Cleo smirked and, using her arms that were wrapped around Harveste, turned the Faerin girl so that she was straddling Cleo's lap, letting Harveste see her smirk.

It's important in this game to make sure you look after your needs. If you're getting hungry, you should satiate that~

God it felt good to cut loose and be free.

I can understand that... But even hobbies can be stressful, you know? It's important to have balance in all aspects of life if you can. But I understand you working so hard when you like it. I happen to tend to be drawn to it. I think it's respectable and makes you even cuter.

Harveste gently gripped on the woman's shoulders, pulling herself up to kiss Cleo with a smile.

Oh? Are you saying it's okay to enjoy the delicacy before me right now?

With gentleness, she began to peck kisses across the woman's face and down her neck, giving a teasing nibble at her collarbone.

Mmm... I feel bad if I'm the only one getting a good 'meal', though... Do you want a taste? Of me?

She was too heated in the moment. She hadn't even remembered they were in a public space as she continually kissed along Cleo's collar bone and shoulder blade, before wrapping her arms around Cleo's neck to pull her into a deeper kiss than usual- one where she could actually taste the woman's soft, warm lips. She smiled warmly as she kissed her, feeling a sense of relief from being allowed so close to her.

Cleo~ You taste too good. It makes me want even more of you...
