The battle between a giant bear and what seemed like a metal samurai had started with an exchange of blows. The samurai's giant kodachi dealt a huge gash on the bear's chest; but the bear, undeterred, raised its hand and mauled the shoulder of the samurai. Sparks then flew from the samurai due to impact, and some of the armored plating had been slightly scratched, but it still seemed to be in running condition, as it then withdrew from the bear as it readied itself for another attack.

It had started with a small sighting of a brown furry thing that seemed to be taller than the trees surrounding it. As the rumor reached Tetsunosuke, he then thought to himself what was that thing, and so he then set out with his mech to find out. As he surveyed the surroundings, he then saw it. How the hell did such a huge bear appear in this area? What kind of person thought it a good idea to create large creatures? Or was it a genetic anomaly? The answer might be found if he would put this one down.

The bear and the giant mechanical samurai then faced each other, awaiting their opponent's next move.

Always shoot strike first.

Ayna was feeling a little nostalgic, so after dropping off some lumber for her fishing crew to haul back home, she decided to return to the place where she first appeared in this world. Or at least she thought this was the place. Ayna wasn't that great with directions, mostly when it came to this area. In Lyrwick, she was fine. Here? Not so much. Dang, where is that place... Did I make a wrong turn? I shouldn't have— She cut herself off after zooming into the middle of a massive bear vs. robot samurai bout.

"GAH! BEAR! SAVE YOURSELF!"

Ayna had been getting faster recently, which she attributed to all her hard work finally paying off. She loved the change and enjoyed zipping in and around and all over places like she was the freaking Flash or something. It was primarily why she always tried to incorporate her short-distance teleportation in everything she did. This time, however, all distances were short distances to her and her dynamic speed. She wasn't planning on slowing down any time soon.

"DON'T WORRY, ROBOT MAN! I GOTCHU!"

❰ Shifting Expanse ❱

❰ Manifestation of the General ❱

Brandishing Calamity's Light, her lightning-charged polearm that combined the best parts of a naginata and a guandao but was more streamlined and aerodynamic, she charged at the wild and intimidating creature, trying to scare it off with a quick thrust to its shoulder. Normally, Ayna would perform one of her trademark lightning flash short-distance teleportation with this move, but since she was much faster now and could virtually achieve the same thing with much better speed and velocity, she just slammed right into it. Efficient, not flashy.

As Tetsunosuke had focused on his opponent calmly so as to gauge when it would attack, when he then heard a shout from his rear which implied that she would assist hem, and then he noticed a small figure attempting to stab the bear on its shoulder. As the stab had then succeeded, the bear was getting more furious as it thrashed about, trying to swat out whatever it was that stabbed it. As he had saw it, the figure which stabbed the bear was as quick as his mech at its normal range. In other words, that figure was really fast. His eyes were then locked on the purple-haired woman which had stabbed the bear.

"I appreciate your assistance, brave woman, but it might be really dangerous! Watch out for..." Tetsunosuke then said, but he had not finished his sentence when a swat, after some time, finally was to hit her. Just letting his instincts go haywire, the huge mech, as its magical jets then roared furiously, then lunged at what looked like a human pace, but if the size was considered, was actually a really quick one as a lot of distance was covered in a short time, the jets drawing a white stream as the mech's body moved. As the swat came crashing down on the woman, the farther half of the kodachi that the mech carried had met it in mid air, the shoulders of the mech instantly screeched as the two met. But the gambit that might have caused the destruction of the mech had paid off as huge quantities of blood then streamed off as the kodachi, glowing with blue energy, made short work on the arm of the bear, severing it on the point of contact with the blade. As the bear then roared in pain, the mech then moved to distance itself from a bear, seemingly readying for the final attack as it then drew the other ootachi from its sheath, the mech then crossing those blades in front of him, readying for a final attack as the blades glowed blindingly blue as more magical energy was then poured on them.

Taking a breather.
+20 HP

As soon as she could, Ayna zoomed away from the bear, vanishing in a flash of lightning and reappearing far from it in another. That was when she realized the other person, the one she had intended to save, was nothing more than some sort of robot. Groovy. That or he was wearing armor that made him look like a robot. Yeah, that sounds more believable.

"Thanks, Robocop! Didn't notice it the first time but you seem like you've got a good handle on this."

Ayna had initially thought it was just her eyes playing tricks on her, so she had to quip about their appearance beforehand. After all, this was a fantasy game, not a science fiction game. Unless, of course, it was actually more of an everything-fiction kind of game. She still had so much to learn about the game. Taking a reprieve from the action, at a safe distance, of course, she pointed Calamity's Light downwards, letting her lightning get absorbed by the earth, nullifying it in the process.

"Just a quick q: You are wearing armor, right? Or are you actually a giant robot samurai thing?"

As the charging on the blades was then finished, the blades then looked as if they were widened, as a large blue translucent magical film then enveloped them. The mech then charged headlong towards the injured bear, the jets on its back and feet intensely glowing to match the output needed for the flight. As the mech raised its blades, a mighty shout was then heard from the mech.

"KAI NO KUNI NITOU KAIGAN!"

The blades were then brought down on the bear, the slashes on the never losing its glow as the mech then sheathed its blades after the slash. When the blades were then fully sheathed, a brilliant glow then ensued from the slashes, before they disappeared, the bear then falling down dead due to the grievous wounds it sustained. As the woman (@Ayna Nietzsche) then complimented his mettle in fighting the large bear, although giving the mech a name that was not apt for it, yet another voice then boomed from the mech.

"Fighting large threats to humanity is the job for me, Sengoku-Class Tetsujin 'Takeda Shingen', Defender of Terrasphere. I am only doing my job."

But the questions did not seem to stop there, as the woman then asked yet another one, if he was just wearing an armor or it was his true form. Once again, that booming voice yet responded again.

"I am just a mech controlled for the good of humanity. In other words..." The voice then stopped, and a hatch behind the mech opened up, to reveal what looked like a blond teenager who was wearing a jetpack as he then zoomed and landed nearby the woman. "I am the pilot of the 'Takeda Shingen', my name is Tetsunosuke. Nice to meet you."

Confused but still down for anything.

"Huh."

Ayna was a little speechless when @Tetsunosuke revealed himself to her. She had figured as much, though she never expected things like mechs to be a thing in this game. I guess it really is limitless in terms of possibilities. She wondered right then and there if people could also use guns here, which dampened her mood. Guns are lame when you have magic.

"Your job, huh? You saying you got an employer?"

She raised an eyebrow as she crossed her arms over her chest. Ayna was a little skeptical about the whole Defender of Terrasphere thing. Then again, she did meet those Lion guys. Maybe they were the ones behind this? She thought about the Adventurers for a split second before realizing they wouldn't be that organized. Maybe those nerds at MIT?

"What else you got in that mech of yours? Guns and badges?"

Ayna did consider maybe joining up with the robot driver. If the pay was great. But also worried that the job would be more bureaucratic than anything. Ayna hated bureaucracy, mostly how slow it made things. The potential was there but most bureaucrats had no idea what they were doing. Or if they do, they're just lazy, greedy bastards who don't understand the true purpose of their mission.

As @Ayna Nietzsche mentioned about him having an employer, Tetsunosuke could only tilt his head in confusion. As it seemed, he had no idea of what he would do with his inventions except what he intended to do with them. Or maybe he was really excited to use his mech to fight a kaiju so much that he forgot everything else? His true intention was then revealed when he then spoke. "Although I am gainfully studying at and being employed by MIT, isn't your first response after making or gaining a giant mech is to test it out against giant threats to civilization? And shouting cool names, one-liners, and epithets? I don't really understand. Maybe you do?"

But this kind of absent-mindedness immediately evaporated when she then asked about what else did he have on his mech, implying it was the latter case. "As for guns, those are still works in progress, although I do have some designs for some really cool ones. I could not use them anyway and there were no requests in MIT and other people at the moment, so I am not making one yet. Although, just imagine..." He then materialized a large blueprint that he had made, of a huge rifled magical cannon that was intended to go with his mech, and then showed it to the woman. It was a very elaborate sketch: while the cannon's outlines were really distinct and showed its resemblances with a lot of mechanized beam guns in many an anime and other series, but a closer look, some combination of letters and numbers, as well as thin lines, would appear. It was as if that gun was actually ready for construction. "...this baby. Located at the back of that mech. Oh boy, that would be glorious. Also, this mech actually folds over into a necessary mode of transportation, whether by land, sea, or air." He then materialized something like a remote control on his hand. "Watch this." He then pressed a combination of buttons on the remote with his thumb, and then the mech then transformed into what seemed to be an enlarged armored personal carrier, with 8 wheels located at each side for a total of 16. "Want to take a look inside?"

Curious about the mileage.

"MIT, huh? Of course you are..."

Ayna wasn't surprised when she was revealed to be right on the money about the whole MIT thing. Their members were big on things like this, inventions, science, and technology, totally disrupting the time period with their advancements. Or maybe it's a good thing, you know? People deserve a bidet. She gave the Player before her a quick rundown, eyes looking him over from head to toe, as if committing his form to memory. Just in case.

"Not really, no. I mean, me? I'd sell it. But first, try to figure out if I can make one again. Or gain another. Mass produce, that sort of stuff. So did you gain or make this thing?"

He's even working on guns? This mad lad. Ayna wasn't actually serious about the whole guns thing. It was just a quip she made because of the whole Robocop vibe the guy was giving her, but she was pretty impressed that it was actually happening. Personally, she wouldn't find any use for them. Not in this game. She was more than fine with her skills, proud of them even.

Ayna took a step back when he summoned a blueprint from out of nowhere, both out of shock and out of practicality. Two solid matter shouldn't occupy the same space, and Ayna did not want to get Ed...ward-ed with paper. Satiating her own curiosity, she stole glances of the blueprint, becoming more impressed with each thing she was seeing. When the roboticist transformed his mech, Ayna took another step again, short of bolting out of there. The last thing she needed was to get exploded by a machine out of time.

"Siao! I didn't know you could do stuff like that in the game! Of course, I would! You know, I'm something of an engineer myself... Lead the way, brainy!"

Tetsunosuke could only scratch his head when the woman (@Ayna Nietzsche) asked if he made the mech, or did he buy it. "I made this all by myself. Although it took me a week to plan, another week to create a decent foundry and workshop, and a month to forge its different parts from scratch. Fortunately we do have magic and system assist in this world, or else it will take a year to forge this, not even including assembly." Thank the heavens for the hidden workshop and foundry of the Lightning Ironworks though, those became the templates of the foundry and workshop that he had currently, which he enhanced from the former by his knowledge of magitech. Being the only remaining Lightning Ironworks member that returned there, he currently had full control of the facilities. That might change if other members started to appear as well, but eh. Not a big deal, he would just give and compare blueprints, and they could use the shiny new facilities.

He then pressed yet another combination of buttons, and two sliding doors on the back of the vehicle in either the left portion or the right portion opened, and then two sets of folding diagonal stairs with their respective railings were then unveiled from the back of the vehicle connecting the two entrances to the ground on which the vehicle stood. As the stairs were setting up, he then moved nearer to the vehicle, while motioning for the woman to do the same, as he then continued on, "If we can actually bankroll an assembly line factory, that will be great. Doing it back in the workshop was a particularly grueling task, and I had to assemble everything outside. The blueprints and specifications are already made ready for mass production, the only thing needed is a huge factory. Although the base item should need a magitech user for them to run, as they are too unreliable if an unrefined magical source was applied to them. Although I could place a magical converter for them to run even if the user could not provide the magical energy needed for magitech to function, the response time of the mech would be hampered so much that it could be rendered useless for actual battle in most cases." As the stairs were then fully set up, Tetsunosuke then said, "Come, you can climb up the stairs so that you can see the inside. Don't worry, the steps are sturdy enough." He then said as he then led the woman inside the left entrance, which seemed to be the 2nd floor of the 3-storey high vehicle that had a 4th-floor balcony.

As the two entered the opened left entrance, they would be greeted by a decently-sized and decently-lit hallway that could fit a 7-foot tall person. On their right was a door, and another which seemed to be the door of an elevator, and there seemed to be a small room at the end of the hallway, with what seemed to be a vending machine within their full view. Tetsunosuke then said, "This is the passengers' quarters for this mech in vehicle form, although it is not recommended to ride in this area when this is in mech form. Every lights and functions here are running using ambient magical energy that was being drawn into the mech from the surroundings by the same principle as those robots in Vintergard. Those two doors there are the doors to the toilet and the elevator, although you can definitely see where is the elevator from those two. And of course the toilet was built like the toilets from our world." He then led the woman to the room, which was a square one, 14 feet on each side. There were two rows of 6 seats within the room, and there was two large contraptions that resembled LED TVs that was mounted on the wall, and two vending machines on either side, one serving cup ramen, the other dispensing cold drinks. He then said, "Feel free to take advantage of some of the amenities here."

"Huh. Interesting. A month and two weeks, huh? Should take less to build a ship."

Ayna nodded as she took in everything the roboticist shared. Obviously, building a ship wouldn't be as tedious as building a mech. The former has fewer moving parts, though it's much more practical. In the sea, anyway, not in space. Never in space. Or fighting monsters. Ayna could not see herself fighting monsters in the sea aboard a ship. She'd much rather take to the skies herself or crash straight into a monster with her own body. She'd rather not sacrifice an entire month's work. Even just two weeks' work. Feels weird for her, wasting all that time creating something amazing, only to risk against something she can rip apart with Calamity's Light.

"Magitech, huh? I guess so, I guess so..."

Ayna followed him without much cause for concern nor any hesitation. In the real world, she had traversed similarly advanced locations, buildings, and walkways. She was one of Singapore's most prized inventors, after all, with a brilliant mind for engineering albeit at the expense of all other aspects of her life. Here, however, there was much to learn and relearn, and it all just made her excited from deep within. The only problem is, Ayna's excitement manifested differently from the stereotypical excitement showcased by laymen.

"Shouldn't there be a refined magical source in this world? Or a source that can be refined?"

She wondered if Zalrisis could be refined perhaps through Alchemy or Magitech, maybe even a combination of both, but her knowledge of the matter was very limited. If Crystallization could be achieved through Geomancy, perhaps the same magic could transmute it to a less dangerous course, not a disease but new magical energy? She had her theories but practicality was the issue. At the sight of the vending machine, she turned to the roboticist with a raised eyebrow.

"Huh. A vending machine? With all these amenities? Did you build this with a team in mind?"

The answer was obvious, but Ayna did not want to assume. Scientists never assume. Instead, they make a hypothesis, an educated guess, and as much as she was very educated back in the real world, in this one, things were not always the same. Is that ramen?!

As Tetsunosuke then activated one vending machine to dispense the blueberry soda that he always liked drinking, he then heard @Ayna Nietzsche mentioning that a ship would take less time to build, he then replied as he then undid the cork lid on the glass bottle, a loud fizz being heard after that, "Of course. A ship, even if considering I make it the size of Titanic, also utilizing magitech, would take me only two days to plan, the same week to assemble the foundry, and if I have an access to a dock, 7 days to forge the parts of the frame, 7 days to forge the supports, and around 4 days to assemble, given the techniques I utilized to assemble this in a single day. And that Titanic that I will make will not sink even if it rams an iceberg at a high speed. I do have this and the player menu to aid me in construction," He then knocked on his jetpack as he spoke about it, before sticking a metal straw into the soda bottle and took a sip of the blue liquid that was inside. "But why build a boring ship when one can make a multipurpose vehicle, as well as one that can fight off large threats effectively?"

He then listened on with the metal straw still in his lips as he held the bottle as he then heard her other questions. As she then mentioned about a refined magical source, or a magical source that could be refined, he then took off the straw from his lips and then replied, "Yes, there is. In fact, that kind of refined magical source was marketed as a sort of a 'magical battery' and used in a lot of applications five years ago." He then let that realization of what he really was then settle, and then continued. "Yes, I was a veteran of this game, and back in my time there was no magitech yet. But still, we tried to recreate modern comforts that we enjoyed in the real world into this world. Even when we could not even use gears at that time. But still we tried our best to the extent of our knowledge, which is, honestly far more challenging than whatever we could do in the real world." He then took another sip from the straw using the corner of his mouth, and as the straw was still in his mouth, he continued speaking, but somewhat garbled due to the straw. "But this time it is now miles better."

Realizing he could not speak properly in this manner, he then removed the straw from his mouth again and then continued. "We still use the 'magical batteries' to this day, but we now only use those for emergency fuel. Of course, with this new addition to the possible masteries, we could now focus on much more renewable sources. Why should we rely on fuel fully when we could just draw magical energy from our surroundings?"

Learning from the best.

"Well, isn't that so very interesting..."

Ayna grinned as she followed @Tetsunosuke's lead, taking to the vending machine as well, and looking for something she would like to drink. Her mind was still focused on the whole ship-building thing, though, as she was genuinely interested in constructing her own vessel. Whether for adventures on the high seas or a more mundane life of fishing, that would come later. Her utmost priority was figuring out the best, and fastest, way to get that ship done. Should come along swimmingly with my real-life background and my construction skill here.

"Not everyone's interested in...fighting off large threats inside a massive robot."

Ayna finally decided to get a grape soda, and as soon as she got one in her hands, she gave her new friend a wink before opening it, giving him a toast and taking a massive swig of the purple drink. Ah! She savored the refreshing liquid albeit fizzy and only then continued her train of thought.

"I think some of us came here, into this world, just looking for an escape from the real one, out there, and fighting things may not be the priority. I mean, I like fighting shit as much as the next gal, but I also like fishing and sailing. Don't get to do much of those back home. Mostly because of work."

Mostly because of work. She could almost scoff. All that work was also a smokescreen. Truth be told, Ayna just didn't want to spend time with anyone else she knew back home. Slowing done was a scary thought, especially since she feared that doing so would make her realize all her hard work was for nothing. Or at least nothing she actually cared about.

"Huh. Guess I can see that. Very fair thought. I mean, as someone who can pretty much generate electricity within her, I could basically become both captain and fuel to my ship. If I ever get around to making one, maybe an electric ship, but still with sails and related mechanics just in case, right? Always plan for the worst."

She took another swig of her drink and looked around some more.

"So it's just you in here, huh?"

Tetsunosuke took another sip of the blueberry soda as he listened while @Ayna Nietzsche was talking, but then he realized that his bottle was empty. It seemed that if one was drinking their favorite beverage while they were engrossed in chatting a lot, the beverage would feel too few. He then went to the vending machine again, thrust the empty bottle into the recycling section, and then returned again at the front of the woman with a new blueberry soda. "Yes, I am alone here, this area is purely for transportation of people and goods when this mech is in vehicle form." He then popped the cork from the bottle and then thrust the straw into the opening. "Contrary to popular belief, it takes a lot of coordination to make five people control a mech. So this mech, as well as any mech that I will make after this, will only be a one-driver affair." He then took a sip, and then responded to her other question."Yeah, it can really be a mood dampener if one wanted to do something and could not do it in the real world. May it be being busy or the world being unforgiving to such a hobby."

As he said those words, he then took a seat on one of the passenger seats in the room. He tailored it to be quite comfortable seating, comparable to typical leather-covered ones in the vehicles back in that world. "Yes, if you really want to do something using magitech in this world, you can do it in far less time that one can do a project of a similar size in the real world. Although planning is essential to making a project, and also the capabilities to create and assemble it. Building large projects, like the ship that you intend to make, might set you back in material and labor costs as well. Well, anyways, if you wanted help in forging and casting metal pieces large or small, as well as other labor, feel free to contact me. I will share to you my contact details." He then manipulated his menu, and then, after he did so, the woman will find a UI message on her menu.

Learning from the best.

"I see. That is very practical."

Ayna nodded at @Tetsunosuke, impressed at his forethought. She didn't expect Players of this game to be as intellectual as him, having only met the ones that were content with playing the hero. So few were those who actually wanted to do something about this world of possibilities, usher in change and improvement, and harness its potential to the best of their abilities.

"Magitech, huh? I don't think I know what that is. Can I get that somewhere?"

Ayna was genuinely curious about the amalgamation of the words "magic" and "tech." She assumed the simplest explanation that immediately came to her mind, that it was magical technology or technology that was more fantastical than it was blue collar, something only the gifted could utilize efficiently. She wondered if it would have suited her better, to learn about it, but did she really want to play the game close to her boring life? Perhaps not.

"Oh. I appreciate all this, just so you know. You ever need anything in turn, I'll be on your beck and call."

She accepted his details through her UI and shared her own with him before finishing up her drink and then throwing it in the trash.

After that, she went back to him, stretching her limbs and yawning. All that running around, testing the limits of her newfound speed, sure took a toll on her. She could do with some good old-fashioned rest.

"What now...Tetsunosuke? I'd ask you to drop me off near Lyrwick, if you're passing through, but I'm not sure the guys over there would be cool with a massive robot approaching their long-suffering town, if you know what I mean?"

"Magitech is one of the skills a person can utilize in this game, but I consider it to be far beyond any other skill in terms of versatility."

That was the quick answer that Tetsunosuke had given to @Ayna Nietzsche when she asked about what magitech really was. Whenever magitech was on the topic of discussion, he always smiled with glee, as he had always been fascinated with its plethora of uses. His mech, which might have been a technological feat back in the real world, was just an example, and he still had more ideas to consider.

"From upgrading weapons and armor to make it much more versatile in combat when manipulated and charged with magic, to enforcing healing by using small machines to stimulate the body into healing much faster, and even revive a person by enveloping them with machines so that their vital signs will stabilize, this is the power of magitech. This one you see here," He then tapped on the floor with his boots, the steel making a dull sound, and then continued. "... is what happens if I used the power of magitech to modify my armor so that it can withstand and nullify every damage while being also mobile and effective in attacking anything, every large threats in particular." He then stood up and had his arms outstretched so that he could emphasize his point. "Even beyond the uses that I have pointed out, there are many more uses of magitech, and in the hands of creative people, it can do a lot of miracles. Hell, we can jumpstart the current technology straight to our world's modern era using magitech and still have ideas to consider beyond that. Although I only hope that this technology could only be utilized for the betterment of the Travelers and Landers. Because, as versatile as it can be, it will be dangerous if it falls into the wrong hands. But of course, in the face of super-villains and ultimate tyrants, you can rely on the Sengoku-class Tetsujin 'Takeda Shingen', Defender of Terrasphere, to battle all forces of evil, and be victorious every single time." As he said the last sentence, his voice then lowered pitch into a baritone, as if he was the narrator of a tokusatsu show.

As he then finished speaking, he then noticed his UI was pinged with a notification. He then read it, and then pressed the check mark so that Ayna's contact details were added. As he had finished doing so, he then noticed that she was getting sleepy. As he saw this, he was panicking in his mind on what to do with her. Fortunately she had mentioned that she wanted to go to Lyrwick, but was also worried bout the reaction of the townspeople there if they saw a mech out of nowhere. If the mode of travel was her concern, maybe this current mode should suit the best? Tetsunosuke then replied, "If you do not want to draw attention, maybe we should go there by land. If we go by air, they will also freak out." He then did a stretch, although it was by reflex since his body did not even need it anyway. "All right. There are seat belts currently installed on the chairs, and should also have the same way of clasping and adjusting as with the modern vehicles. Although I am always driving on good terrain, and the suspension is excellent, it will not hurt to be careful. Also, our journey will be really quick, and so you should buckle up for your safety. Those monitors over there," he then points to the monitors, "...are magical periscopes so that you may know where you are currently. When you are buckled up, I will start our journey." He then would wait for her to fasten her seatbelts, and after that he would move to the cockpit to drive.

Learning from the best.

"Sounds very impressive, yeah."

Ayna could sense that @Tetsunosuke was very proud about this Magitech thing. And for the right reasons. She wasn't downplaying it when she said it was very impressive, though her natural tone betrayed her genuine excitement at the concept. If this whole thing could be applied in her world, things would be much faster, and easier. But this was just a game, so at this point, it was all but a pipe dream for her

"Every damage?"

That part, Ayna wasn't quite sure of. Magitech was great and all, but she doubted it made whoever practiced it, utilized it, extremely invulnerable. To a point may be, but every armor has its kink, and Ayna was well-versed in hunting those down. Still, it didn't diminish the great impression she had on the practice. Just like a single fly can't bother all the cows in the field. Or something like that.

"Gotcha."

She did what she was told and played the role of the best-mannered passenger. Fastening her seatbelts, Ayna was content with just looking around as the pilot did his thing. Her mind wandered over his description of Travelers and Landers, but she just assumed he meant Players like them and the non-Players that were programmed to occupy this world. As if they were alive and living.

"Maybe you can help me, as a consultant or whatever, when I start building that ship for myself? Nothing fancy, just a fishing ship that can survive the harshest of climates at sea...and maybe other ships steered by bad, greedy men and their ilk?"

Ayna wanted to simply make one that could satiate her hobby but also help feed the people of Lyrwick, her home away from home. But the thought of having a Magitech ship on which she could fend off, maybe even just fight, pirates and their kind, monsters, too, made her salivate in her head. The possibilities seemed endless with Magitech.

As Tetsunosuke then watched @Ayna Nietzsche buckle up, he responded to her doubts about the mech being invulnerable. "This mech is a self-repairing one: every time it would be damaged, applying magic on it ensures that every single imperfection on it will be fixed in a short time. Although, yes, it had some imperfections and weaknesses, as long as I, who knew of these imperfections and weaknesses, is piloting this thing, it might as well be invulnerable. I will shield this mech, and the mech in turn will shield me from fatal damage. As long as this synergy will maintain itself, we are invincible." As he said those words, he then flashed a confident smile.

Now that Ayna was now secured in her seat, he made himself mentally ready for a road trip to Lyrwick. Although before he went to the cockpit, he then responded to Ayna's question if he would be available as a consultant in the even that Ayna will build her ship. "Of course. Just use those contacts, and I will be there once I get the message. A fishing ship ready for all climates? I got it. I will plan something along those lines after we reach Lyrwick." Although he had a lot of plans currently lined up, an all-climate fishing ship should be a really good project to work with. Aside from Ayna here, it would definitely increase the yield of the fishermen who will use it. Provided that they do not overuse it, of course.

"All right, 'Takeda Shingen' is rolling out. Next destination: Lyrwick!" With those lines, Tetsunosuke then moved towards the elevator, and into the cockpit right above the room where Ayna was lodging herself. The monitors, which in reality were magical periscopes, then blared albeit easy to the eyes, showing the view at the front of the windshield. Although the sound was muffled enough, the magical jetstreams started to flare up, and then the ponderous vehicle then moved at a speed uncharacteristic of its size, and only after a couple of hours of driving, then reached the outskirts of Lyrwick.
