Ronja listened to @Harper's words attentively, and it was an intriguing side that she haven't seen of the tigress. What she spoke of... Of course, Ronja knew Harper was someone that was very determined, but the way this determination manifested was unexpected. "You are one of the cases of a very nerdy jock." Ronja giggled, not wishing to downplay Harper's desires, but mostly trying to ease the seriousness of the topic.

"Ronja understands the lack of friends perfectly. Before here, Ronja barely had any either... You must have been very lonely until you met this game, then..." Ronja felt bad that her friend had to go through something like that.

Her gaze narrowed toward Harper when she told Ronja to not worry. The narrow had a big scolding scowl on it, but it also had a hint of affection. "You are Ronja's friend. She will worry about you a lot." Ronja was firm, taking Harper's wet hand with her own. "Let's protect our little fun world then, right? So we won't lose it."

Harper couldn't help but snort at the thought of a "nerdy jock". Holy oxymoron, Batman!

But in a way, it was the best way to describe Nicole. Though she had a athlete's body and pretty good looks if she could say so herself, she was also the type of girl to be able to explain body mechanics in intricate detail and watch grappling instructionals the same way a normal person does podcasts. Thus, a mix of jock and nerd suit her pretty well.

Not that she would let anyone but Ronja call her that and leave unscathed, however.

"Ah, I might be just making it sound a bit worse than it actually is. I always had my parents, and was always very friendly with the people at the gym. But having this entire world I can just unwind and connect with so many people, even if I'm a bit weird... It's nice!"

Though after finishing her sentence, the tigress couldn't help but let her gaze go to her side with a snort.

"Even if everyone I just mentioned would smack me for playing a death game... Oh well, curiosity ain't killing this cat, haha... Haaah..."

Harper would visibly deflate after that remark, one of her hands running itself through her hair before her other was suddenly taken by Ronja, lightly startling the tigress as she turned back to face the magia. Upon being met with Ronja's narrowed gaze, which Harper initially avoided as she held Ronja's hand back.

"I know, I know... I worry about you too. Everyone. And I want to keep this world safe too. I'm just worried... Whatever it is inside of me that 'protects' me when my life is in danger, it takes over me, and what if, gods, it sees any of you as a potential threat?"

Harper let out a forced chuckle, looking into the sky for a moment.

"I want to protect you guys and the world, but what if I lose control and hurt you guys? But if I don't and just stay put, I can also lose both..." She would sigh, her grip on Ronja's hand tightening slightly. "Times like this, I kinda miss just being one of those stars up there. At that time, all I worried about was if landing from the sky was going to hurt. Everything was so much simpler. But there's one thing I know for certain. One thing I know I need."

Bringing her head back down, she would look at Ronja, then at herself. It would definitely take more than just some face-washing to deal with everything that patrol had done to them. She then looked back at the river.

Talking about this stuff really isn't what she'd rather do when meeting with a old friend. Instead...

She would wait for Ronja's response, before meeting her with a mischieveous smile. Letting go of her hand, she used her crouching position to jump frighteningly up in the air, before coming down onto a deeper part of the lake with a massive cannonball, sending waves of water in all directions.

"And that's a BATH! Come on Ronja, the water is nice! And you did say you won't fry up like a toaster, so whadya say?"

Though Harper sounded cheery, the cons of this makeshift plan of hers were immediately shown, as not only did she forget to take out her clothes, the lake was not deep enough for how high she jumped.

Her beast-throwing glutes now hurt. A lot.

Not that she would make it apparent besides a held-back wince. After all, all she wanted to do was to wind off with a good friend.

Ronja looked at @Harper's eyes intently as she voiced her concerns about whatever was within her heart, that boosted her with reckless abandon at the same time it protected her through brutality and a supernatural endurance. Ronja understood her friend's concerns, and her arms crossed as she considered it deeply. "Hmm..."

The grip of her hand tightened, and a small smile appeared on Ronja's lips. "If for some reason Ronja gets hurt whenever, and if ever, this happens, Ronja knows it won't be you, Harper." Ronja's smile widened.

"Because you would only ever protect Ronja, you would never hurt her. Ronja is the same." Her eyes glimmered seeing her friend worrying so much about not only her, but about everyone else she cared for.

"So there is nothing to worry about. You will never hurt Ronja. Even if she gets hurt, it won't be you. Ronja is very certain of it."
Ronja declared firmly, moments before their hands parted, and water splattered everywhere, making Ronja giggle as she shielded herself.

"Hey! Ronja didn't put her clothes away from the water!" She lamented, seeing her clothes getting wet while on the ground. Ronja grabbed them and tossed them farther, turning to look at Harper and grinning. "You better brace yourself for Ronja!" She warned, running and leaping, perhaps not anywhere as high as Harper, but allowing all of her Magia weight to clash against the lake, showering the area.

Harper didn't actually notice the matter of Ronja's clothes before she made her leap. That was definitely not in her plans to wet her friend's clothing, even if they needed some washing after their scuffle. Now she felt kinda ba- Oh that's a flying Ronja free falling towards her.

OH!

Harper barely got the reactions to shield her face before the splashes of water hit her, a soft chuckle leaving her lips. At least her friend didn't seem too beat up about her now-moist clothing, which meant they were both free to enjoy themselves! And the tigress was more than ready to seize the moment!

"He-he-he! You've now entered my domaaaaaain~"

Harper would playfully taunt, before letting both of her arms ominously sink into the lake with a sly grin.
"Behold my terrifying technique: Unending Tiger Wave Attack!!!"

With a downright silly shout, Harper would start to clap her hands underwater. The waving movement of her arms made... Well, waves. If she truly had her mind set into it, she could probably blow both Ronja and every fish to the shore with the size of the waves her freakish strength could create.

But that wouldn't be any fun, now would it? So she held herself back.

While she continued her "fierce assault", her mind wandered to Ronja's words just now. She wasn't sure she could easily disassociate from the actions of her berserking self as her magia friend suggested, but the knowledge that Ronja wouldn't hold whatever happened against her was for sure comforting.

There was still a lot of uncertainty in her heart. Heck, she didn't even really know what even was allowing her to go into these rampages... But at the very least, she could find solace in having a plentitude of friends that would catch her should she fall... And she would gladly do the same for them.

Because that's what friends are for. What friends do.

As the waves of water continued, a fact of life would make itself to Ronja. No matter how cool you were, or how strong your muscles are, or how much of a fun person you were... Fur was still fur. Fur got wet.

And a wet cat person... Still looked pretty much like a wet cat. Not that it seemed to register in Harper's mind in the slightest at the moment, filled with glee as she was.

Truthfully... Things may seem a bit murky ahead... But deep down?

She felt like things would be alright.
