"Hello?!" Chad shouted loudly outside a mushroom house that was half of a rotten mushroom supported by rickety-looking lumber. The construction was among the worst he had seen in a long time.

With Chad was Jester, whose form was still very much kept in the dark by Astor and his team, who had designated the Lion's Pride to take charge of protecting Jester and shielding her from public attention. Rather than having Jester permanently draping a cloak over her head, Levi figured it would be a lot easier if there were a more temporarily permanent way to keep wandering eyes away from Jester.

Upon consulting with the MIT, Levi was given a referral for a supposedly powerful witch who lived in Isulus who supposedly specializes in illusion and body transformation. Being the upstanding guy that he was, Chad volunteered to take Jester to see this expert.

The only problem was that it didn't seem like anyone was occupying the adobe.

Chad turned to @Jester and scratched his head as he made a suggestion, "Maybe we could sneak inside and see if she's there? It's kind of a waste to come all the way out here only to return empty-handed..."

With Chad was Jester indeed, if only thanks to one drop of blood she gave a horse once. That was a long story though, and the only upside resulting from it was that she didn't have to put up with the humidity trapped across the lows of Isulus. At least it looked like the kind of place that would be humid.

Before her partner-in-specifically-not-crime could respond to the silence with a 'well, we tried', Jester put a finger and thumb to her mechanical muzzle, the perfect pose to offer a shifty suggestion... but, the Lion beat her to it against all assumptions.

She smirked, though only internally given the not having an actual mouth thing, and her synthesized voice initialized in agreement. "As long as I don't have to change my name to Gretel and climb in any ovens. She can't be too mad as long as we remain candid." Not getting a response in the real world wasn't strange at all, but it always rubbed Jester the wrong way in Terrasphere. What was the difference there?

She didn't spend too long thinking about it as she began her approach.

"Hmmm..." Chad pondered.

"Alright, she shouldn't get mad if we're candid about it, right?" Chad asked as if searching for confirmation.

He then walked over to the door, and with a balled fist, he punched the door, separating the door from its hinges, all the while shouting. "HEY MISS APORA! WE REALLY NEED TO TALK TO YOU, SO WE'RE SNEAKING IN!"

Immediately, an unexplainable fright shot through your bloodstream as something opened its eyes and looked at you. It felt as though both you and Chad were staring down the barrel of a loaded gun.

Chad immediately stepped into the house and pulled you along with him.

"Huh? And who the fuck said you could come in?" a scratchy voice erupted from a crude old bed, its owner a gaunt yet terrifyingly beautiful woman whose magic pricked your skin and overwhelmed your senses. Somehow, you felt like gravity was a lot stronger inside the house, even though it was clear that there wasn't a trace of a spell you could perceive. It was purely from the magic emanating from her compact form.

The barrel of a gun was a terrifying thing to be staring down, especially when it was point at you.

... The first time, anyway. The fourth or fifth time it just didn't have the same mortal reminder to it.

"What large gravity you have there, miss!" Jester hoped to put out the fire on this burning bridge, but all she could really do about it was be herself and wait for her endless 'courage' to get herself killed yet again. "I'll admit, I didn't really mean for things to go like this."

The robot's hands came up next to her shoulders in gesture of surrender. "Hear me out though. I'm more than happy to repay you! Between the two of us, I clearly have the worse face to view." She pointed at her dashing good looks, a metal face with a crack-scar of bronze. She wanted to continue, but honestly she was having a difficult time gauging if this woman was even willing to listen-slash-not-blow-her-core-out. If only she'd opened with the part about saving a bunch of mechanical horsies. That would have surely persuaded her.

Chad's confidence beamed like the sun inside the small and cozy room, which thanks to the two intruders had gotten a lot colder. The woman with the strange hair color got out of bed with a shaky motion. She may have been overflowing with magic, but her body didn't exhibit an ounce of good constitution. She wasn't just compact, but frail and sickly looking. She kept her eyes on the two invaders, the bright orange pair conveying a deep hatred. One would not have been able to tell whether her disdain was reserved for man or civilization, both or neither. She was difficult to read.

Chad perked up, "Are you able to help this young woman appear less... uh... metallic? Levi said that the Hedgewitch Apora Dawnfyre is the only one who could."

Apora let out an exasperated sigh, "Could? Child's play. Want to? We'll see about that. Since you've traveled all the way out here to break into a lady's house, why don't you take a seat, have some tea, and explain to me why in the fuck I should help you? With the kind of magic I specialize in, it's rather insulting that you want me to perform some paltry tricks."

Chad immediately headed to where Apora was standing, "You can just sit down ma'am, fighting isn't the only thing I'm good for! I've been trained in the art of tea making by a fellow Captain, Misha. Let me show you!"

"Huh? What?"
the woman replied but was promptly cut off by Chad picking her up and putting her down on the chair.

He then gestured for you to talk and convince the woman.
