Travelling across the forest of Western Brisshal, Ruby tried to find her way back to Finweald, after acquiring a good amount of honey from Honeyhome, and fishes from a particularly friendly girl. The bag she had of both of them was... Rather big, perhaps way too big, even, but it didn't faze Ruby, especially when her UI Inventory was even more filled.

It did weight considerably, but the explorer didn't mind it, enjoying the most of it with her double-tail swaying around, while she took deep, refreshing breaths that a wonderful and blessed forest like this one could offer.

Danger lingered around it, of course, but Ruby was fairy confident of her hearing and sight to spot it before it got near her... Something that would prove to be rather useful, with her ears twitching with the stimuli of some rustling, followed by some leaves floating down in front of her, and cracking noises making her ears perk up, along with her eyes that went upwards to spot just what was causing all that fuss.

And it was there... That the world seemed to turn into slow motion.

Someone was falling from high above, just like transparent raindrops fell from dark clouds, a beautiful pink-haired elf fell from the green treetops, making her way down in a dangerous speed, that thankfully was noticed by the crimson cat, that had superhuman senses and speed- Which wasn't enough for her to yell, but was enough for her to open her arms, positioning herself to try and catch that person in time.

It must oof been something with her internet. She never just appeared on the land like a normal person. Her internet wasn't the best in the world but it got the job done. She was able to surf the internet and respond to her emails even watch videos if she so wanted. However her true love for the internet came when she was logging into Terrasphere. The only good thing about her appearing in trees wasn't that she was falling into the said tree. That fall alone might of killed her. However falling out of trees may be strange but it always took to be a nice ice breaker. When she opened her eyes, she was sitting in the tree which happened to be a tall tree at that. She shifted her body to the left and a little to far to the right before loosing her balance.

Down went the leaves that were connected to the branches she was holding on to. At the time, she couldn't see anybody standing at the base under the tree. She just knew that soon enough she would be meeting the ground per usual. The pinkette closed her eyes and braced herself as she released the branch from her hands and let herself fall down. Down, down, down, she fell with a slight scream of not knowing when she'd hit the ground or how hard she would hit it. "Ah!" With a whoosh downward motion she had landed in the arms of another player.

Caelynn looked surprised and shocked when she discovered that she hadn't actually fallen on the ground. Her head turned to the side and saw that there were arms holding on to her. Eyes slowly peering up at a girl with cat ears and red auburn hair. Caelynn couldn't help but blush from the surprise of it all and embarrassment of yet falling out of another tree. Luckily this time someone was around to catch her although she most likely inconvenienced the poor girl.

"Oh gosh!" Caelynn moved suddenly jumping out of the tabby cat's arms and stood in front of her now looking quite tall compared to the beastfolk who had been holding her. "I'm so sorry for falling on to you like that! I don't know why but that actually happens alot." Quickly she bowed forward as her long pink hair followed her actions moving in front of her and covering her shoulders. "You didn't get hurt did you? I'll pay for any damages I've caused."

Grabbing someone from falling was something that thankfully Ruby was used to- And for such a thing, she had a handful of tricks she could muster with her Dynamism, with one of them being able to make a sudden shift at the speed direction of the elf girl that was falling, applying to all of her body so she wouldn't get hurt, not only cushioning her fall and making it soft and comfortable, but also making sure Ruby's own arms wouldn't get screwed in the process.

Ruby swayed her tails, watching the woman in her arms. "Are you alright?" She asked, just before she suddenly leaped out of her arms, bowing apologetically and making Ruby open her hands with a smile, shaking them in a reassuring gesture.

"Hey, hey, it is fine. I'm not hurt, and I'm glad you didn't get hurt yourself... And I'd be careful, maybe you are being too reckless if you keep falling from trees all the time." Ruby said, pausing and tilting her head, leaning in. "You aren't hurt, right? Can you stand properly? Try to calm yourself first." She instructed.

Caelynn looked up at the tree still wary that she had just fallen out of the tree. Although she turned to Ruby when the other female expressed that she wasn't hurt. Putting out her arms, she looked herself over and down to the side and partially behind herself. The elf could only laugh before relaxing her body posture when everything seemed in check. "It's interesting. Even after returning to the game it seems that old habits really do die hard. One thing is for sure though, every time I've fallen out of a tree there is always somebody around to witness it." She put her arm around her neck and smiled feeling even more embarrassed. "I am most certain that I am not hurt in any way. It's all thanks to you for having incredible timing of being in the right place."

Now that the ice had been broken and the introduction had formed itself. "I'm Caelynn by the way. For catching me during another yet dramatic enterance into the game, I'd like to treat you to a meal or even just a drink if you're okay with that?" She gave her a small smile. "I'd like to express my gratitude towards you. If you say yes, you can pick any place you want to go."

Ruby's ears twitched, even more curious about the fact the girl before her really had the habit of falling off trees. At the first mention of it happening a lot, the crimson cat had thought it was just a well humored joke, taking a laugh at one's near disaster. But this didn't seem to be the case.

"That must be your gift then." Ruby teased while wearing a small smile while her ears twitched, and a flush crossed her cheeks as she chuckled sheepishly. "That was nothing, I was just lucky... and my reflexes are good." Ruby said, flustered and cheerful at the gratefulness.

When the girl introduced herself, Ruby returned with a brief curtsy- more of for style than for actual formality- before glancing up at her. "It is nice to meet you, Caelynn. My name is Crimson Ruby, but only Ruby is enough." She introduced herself, resting a hand on her chest and offering the girl the other hand, swaying her double-tails.

"To have a beautiful girl falling on my arms and then being invited by her to have a meal or a drink? This must be my lucky day!" Ruby chirped, perking her ears up.

"I know a nice place, but it is a half an hour stroll from here." Ruby explained, glancing at the path she was taking.

Caelynn smiled at the other girl. She was so cute and seemed really very friendly. Perhaps the game knew what it was doing by having her fall out of a tree in this location. Maybe it really did have a mind of its own. "Well then Crimson Ruby but just Ruby it's nice to meet you!" She giggled softly and put her hand out to meet hers in a friendly handshake.

When she began complimenting her, Caelynn could feel her white face turn slightly red from the blush that may had been appearing. "I'm considering myself lucky to be caught by such a cute little beastfolk. A feline of that nature." She always considered herself a cat person. Even in the world of Terrasphere that did not change.

"A nice little stroll through the game doesn't sound like a bad idea. We can talk and become more acquainted with each other. And while I'm on the subject I would say today is turning out to be an incredibly lucky day for the both of us."

Ruby's ears twitched at the playful way Caelynn had responded her, with the soft handshake sealing their meeting, and the color covering the elf's cheeks making the crimson cat chuckle faintly. "I am cute? Thank you." Ruby smiled sheepishly, with her Primal Aura washing Caelynn's mind with the gratefulness and pleased feelings the beastfolk girl had.

"It would be, and yes. I would say we are both in a lucky day. It does make for a change, considering everything that has been happening..." She sighed, swaying her tails and peeking at the girl and leaning in.

"Ever since that strange robot caused so much chaos, the world seems to have turned upside down." Ruby said, swaying her double-tails and brushing them on Caelynn as she teased:

"Even elves are raining now." She chuckled, resting her hands behind her back and tilting her head.

"Now, if you have told me that it is normal for you to fall from trees... do you like to climb them and log out up there? I wonder what sort of situations you've gone through by having this happening to you..." Ruby wondered, looking up to the tree tops, as if expecting something or someone else to fall from there again.

Caelynn smiled and could only laugh a little bit as the female she had met. Looking up at the trees, she was also curious as to why this strange phenomenon. Had she ever climbed up a tree and just proceeded to log out? No she usually logged out in a standing up position which should have her come back to a standing position. "Honestly Ruby I have no idea how it keeps happening. At this point I think it's just become an authentic trait of mine. Like you know you're talking to Caelynn when she falls out of a tree." It truly was strange and its own mystery to be solved.

A smile appeared on her face as she was hit by her tails. They were so pretty to look at and swayed elegantly as they appeared. Caelynn frowned and shifted her feet as she looked at Ruby. "Strange robot thing? What do you mean by that?" Was she missing something? Had she not read up on all the information given to her? Meeting more players would reveal more facts and secrets which she gladly would share her own secrets and thoughts with them.

"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. Too be honest it hasn't been very long since I returned to the world of Terrasphere. I'm still brand new in a way." Then she had to suddenly think of rewording her words. "I mean I'm not new to Terrasphere persay but it is of recently that I've made my way back to this world."

Ruby's ears perked up, just along with her eyebrow as she chuckled and pondered about it- "I suppose it is part of your charm. The Caelynn that falls from the sky, if only the term Starcalled wasn't already used, it would make for a good title for you..." Ruby tilted her head, then narrowed her eyes at her. "A miracle from the skies? Hmm, beauty rain?" The crimson cat considered, with a melodical voice- perhaps she was trying to pick up on a poem or a song.

Her thoughts regarding the topic soon were averted to the request for elaboration from the girl, that made Ruby's attention turn fully to the seriousness of the topic. "You know that place called Vintergard? It used to be the capital of Astorea, before a giant ship fell on it... These ships were filled with robot-like creatures, and people too... Called 'Magia'... And it seems like they were being commanded by a corrupted Magia woman called 'Szofrit'." She explained, albeit a bit too summarized, but she didn't want to make the other girl tired of listening to a long story.

"... This Szofrit went even more rogue, attacking Finweald last month, but we fought back and managed to capture her... But well, since she was captured and spared, rather than destroyed, a lot of Landers... or NPCs... Aren't liking our presence. They are also very wary of Magia players, some are even being hunted down." Her ears dropped, with a sigh escaping from her lips.

Her eyes then returned to Caelynn's, with a curious expression covering them. "I see, so you aren't much different from me... I was playing it before it's access got blocked by the authorities."

The elf laughed as she looked up at the sky. "Just the right timing I guess. Of course that just makes me even more unique and different in a good way." She laughed with Ruby as they looked up at the sky imagining if she truly fell from the sky and blessed the world with her presence. Nope, it was only on accident. The happiness that seemed to consume them came to a halt as Ruby's expression turned into a more serious one. Caelynn turned and tilted her head only to hear Ruby speaking again telling a rather sad story.

The pinkette nodded to her as she finished talking about the story. "That is what I've heard before. It sounded like a fierce battle that went on." Caelynn always felt a little awkward when hearing about that battle that had gone on. She wasn't around for it thus she couldn't exactly sympathize of what had really gone on. Yes, she felt sad whenever hearing the dark tale but the feelings were different. It's one thing to hear the story but another thing entirely to be there and experience it for yourself. Caelynn didn't have that advantage.

"I played it for a little bit too before the authorities got to it like you said. Somehow I've managed to find a couple of my old...." She thought about Camus and how to describe him. He wasn't a friend nor a foe but they had a disliking for each other. Camus just had it out for her without actually being a bad guy. "I met an old friend and then the other...Well he's more of an acquaintance. The fact is though we've reunited and I've even come to meet new players such as yourself. Which by the way, I am glad to have met you." Caelynn gave her a smile.

She kept on walking at a slow and casual pace not wanting to be too fast or too slow. "Should anything happen again like how you described, we can help each other out. I'll become stronger and learn to use all my skills and upgrade my stats." She turned and smiled down at the tabby cat. "Nobody will dare mess with me." She laughed trying to be cute yet serious at the same time.

Ruby nodded. "It was very fierce, indeed..." She sighed. "I wasn't there in its entirety, but I was there enough to be caught into some battle, having to defend the ruins of a palace and everything." She said, reminding herself of the battle they had all went through, and pursing her lips at a few reminders of how many losses they had, including the headquarters the explorers had in Finweald: Embertorch.

A perkier smile crossed her lips, however, as soon as she mentioned helping each other out.

"Well miss, if someone dares to mess with you, they will be messing with me as well then." She said, raising a finger and shaking it a couple times.

"I am glad I've met you too, after all. As for your friends, maybe you should introduce me to them some time." Ruby said, smiling a bit. "Or should I wait for them to fall from the skies as well?" She teased a bit, while a small and humble town started to appear in their sight, albeit a few minutes away.

Caelynn took note of Ruby's expression and watched as she was in her memories in that moment. A reminder for her that the game wasn't all but a game. Yes it could be fun and a stress reliever but getting involved in some dangerous and potential risky quests and events could be the end for anyone. Only that is if they died three times. Caelynn looked down for a moment or so staying quiet as if to offer her condolences and a moment of silence for the loss of the players. Were they really gone though? She had no idea.

Her saddened expression became a smile as Ruby spoke to her. She laughed and clapped her hands. "The same goes for you too! Right now I may not be able to do much but give me some time. I'll be amazing soon enough." At least she was optimistic in her own right. The more she played matched with how much she learned. She just had to pay attention to the details and read everything that appeared in front of her.

Caelynn then stopped and looked up at the trees as if she was looking to see if anyone would fall down. "I mean you never know. My falling out of trees might be contagious. In fact you might just fall out of tree yourself." She laughed looking at her new friend and then shook her head. "Nah! You'd probably just land on your feet. That would be pretty cool to see if I'm honest."

Ruby warmed up with a smile, looking at Caelynn and tilting her head. "I will love to see you becoming even more amazing than you already are." She said, swaying her tails and quickly taking a few extra steps when Caelynn halted her steps to look up.

The felis shielded her eyes from the sun, following the fashion and shrugging. "I already fall plenty of times when I'm exploring high places, so I don't need some extra falling- Still, you aren't wrong, I generally fall on my feet." She giggled, looking at the girl with a small squint.

"But not for the reason you think. I have two tails that help me to balance, and I'm a more based on mobility, so I'd say I'm rather acrobatic and athletic." She said, resuming her walking while waiting for the girl.

"What about you? Would you mind telling me why do you play this game? And how do you do it?"
She wondered, curious about what was in Caelynn's mind when logging in Terrasphere.

Caelynn had yet to actually meet someone who was curious as to why she played Terrasphere. It was something she did particularly like discussing but she didn't like to keep any secrets. At least not the secrets she didn't mind telling. Her expression turned into a sad smile as she looked up at the virtual sky. "Because this game is a freedom that I've longed for." Her voice was soft and she put up her arm as if going to reach the sky.

"Before I discovered this game, my real life was a mess. To make a long, long story short, my parents really weren't loving to me, my brother or even to themselves. And my brother he ab------Moved on when he came of age so I was stuck in the house cause I want not yet old enough to depart from that place." Memories that she really never escaped from began to resurface as she did her best to push them to the far back of her mind.

"Growing up I was huge fan of one particular Disney movie about the boy who never grew up and took those willing to go to Neverland. I've always wanted to go and become a Lost Boy I mean Girl." She laughed and put her arm down and shrugged her shoulders. "But this place is as close as it gets. I'm not really a gamer but I love this game. Rather of the freedom it gives me or the chance to escape a crappy life and live a life that will actually make me happy."

She was silent for a few moments and then turned to Ruby and gave her a smile. "I apologize for the rambling. What about you dear Ruby? What brings you back into logging in day after day? Hopefully it is not as depressing as my backstory."

The start of the reveal brought a frown to Ruby's expressions, that turned slightly sorrowful by knowing the pinkette went through family problems, some that sounded rather serious, perhaps even worse than the ones Ruby herself had to face.

The mention of a movie from Disney, however, caught Ruby's attention.

"Peter Pan?" Ruby tilted her head. "Petra Pan then?" She giggled at the idea, pausing to ponder for a moment, swaying her tails and letting out a sigh at the saddening reasoning behind Caelynn's actions- not that Ruby could blame her. "It seems like it is normal to use this game as a escapism... But... I do hope your life outside becomes better. We all have our problems, but I'm sure we also all have our chances to defeat them."

Her smile grew faint at Caelynn returning the question.

"Not really saddening, but we aren't too different. My family was always fairly strict and traditional, so I moved to another country and well... While I was finally with much more freedom, I don't really have the resources or money to... Say... Travel around the world, which is one of my dreams." She explained.

"And travelling around the world, seeing new things, and stuff... Is something I can do in here, which is why I'm an explorer." Ruby admitted, tugging the violet whistle that dangled on her neck.

"I can relate." She laughed. "Traveling the world I think is on everyone's bucket list but its just so expensive sadly to say." Only the rich and the wealthy had money to do such things. A life Caelynn only wished she had. "Petra Pan? I like it!" She laughed going back to the nickname she spoke of. "Come to think of it, this place is a lot like Neverland. It's easier to get here with just logging in with the required equipment needed. Although it would have been fun to try going to the second star to the right and straight on till morning." As she spoke about going towards the star, the Elf sprinted forward slightly and leaped into the air before landing on her feet once again.

"I'm sorry to hear about your family troubles as well. I think everyone might have something they wish to escape from hence coming here." And why not run away to this world? It was magical within itself. "There's so much to do and see. I'm already looking forward to all the exploring that awaits for me." She turned and smiled at the tabby cat girl. "Maybe we can explore together sometime? Only if you want to that is."

"This place? Neverland?" Ruby mused about the idea, swaying her tails as she pondered about. "You aren't wrong, this is a very nice 'Neverland'. A bit more dangerous than what one would expect, but... It is part of the fun." She chuckled faintly, brushing her hair with her fingers and twitching her ears.

The sudden sprint and leap were a surprise for the crimson cat, that watched the elf with a brief laughter being contained behind her lips. That was adorable.

"You don't need to be sorry about it. It is just how life can be at times." Ruby said with a soft sigh. "Maybe in my next life I will be luckier... well, I still have my little sister around, at the very least."

As their conversation went on, they eventually reached the border of a small town, with a couple guards taking brief notice of their presence, but mostly ignoring them as they stepped in.

The indifference in the guards could be easily explained by how peaceful and quiet the town was. With humble houses and business, people greeted each other almost as if they were part of the same family, while the girls received a few curious glances, but that soon turned into welcoming ones that faded into indifference as soon as they were no longer in their sight.

"You can sure come exploring with me anytime you wish. It is always good to have someone with you when doing it." She aswered.

Walking around the small town, Caelynn took the liberty to look around as her eyes wandered around. It was rather cute. How everyone greeted each other and asked how they were doing. Perhaps that was the best thing of small towns. Everyone seemed happy living out their lives not having a major care in the world. Of course she was sure some of the townsfolk were players and NPCs. She was quite curious about the guards. It wasn't rocket science to figure out they were there to protect the town.

She smiled as she looked around nodding to those that looked in their direction and gave them a small smile. Their eyes were filled with curiosity. "Such a cute little place this is. It looks like everyone knows everybody here." Watching them made her heart feel warm. She didn't have a permanent home like that. It was the American dream to have a two story house with a fenced in yard that house a loving husband and some children inside those walls. "It's almost like out of a fantasy book?"

Caelynn turned and looked back before looking over at Ruby. "Are the guards there to protect the people of the town or to keep a watch over things?" She was genuinely curious as to why they were posted there. "I figured with all the players going on and completing certain quests, well I would have thought that the players would have been the protectors of the world. Right?"

Ruby twitched her ears. "Just like a fantasy book." She said, swaying her tails and clasping her hands. "Everything in here is pretty much out of a fantasy book, really. Except it is as immersive than anything else could ever dream to be." Everything felt so real, that playing for a while would soon make you feel like that the game was an extension of the real world.

At the question regarding the guards and the players roles as protectors, Ruby pondered.

"This world isn't as simple as your usual game. It is as complex as our own, so a bunch of travelers like us killing monsters don't immediately make it safe. There is only so much we can do-" Ruby explained, reaching for the door of the nearest tavern and pushing it open...

It was far from being crowded, but neither it was particularly empty either. The interior was nice and cozy, with the warmth provided by a gentle heat of the fireplace being all it was necessary to make the ambient even more comforting and welcoming.

There was no songs as the usual loud taverns, but of course, the day was just starting for it.

Approaching for a table, Ruby tugged a chair for her new friends before taking a seat herself.

"What would you like to have?" Ruby asked, peering at a crude menu that had on the table and picking it up. There were varied types of meals, from portions of toasted bread to roasted potatoes. Stews and soups of all kinds served as complements, along with salads and drinks that ranged from juices to ale and wines.

"Oh I see. That does make sense." This game did remind her a big mediaeval storybook. It had explorers of all kinds and monsters galore. You had the good and kind people but there were the evil villains as well. In this world anything was possible because it wasn't the real world. Although things might have their limitations, with imagination and creativity anything was possible.

As they walked through the door to the tavern, her eyes widened as she was met with the inside glow. It seemed comfy and cozy. The tavern itself seemed like a hidden gem that players hadn't quite discovered yet which made it nice. "Wow!" She smiled looking around taking in the warm scene. "This is such a cute little tavern!" She giggled and practically skipped over to the table and took her seat in an empty chair.

Pulling up a menu, her eyes looked it over and she read all that they had to offer. "Everything looks so good. What are you thinking about getting? Whoops what I meant to ask was if you've been here before and if so what would you recommend?"
