There was something magical about food, especially when one had a full stomach after a long day... often times it made you crave a nice and long nap right after it. Already the hare could begin to feel the first signs of exhaustion washing over her, having previously been masked and forgotten by the tenseness she had felt back at the nightclub... and then afterwards due to the incident.

Boaris food however had done wonders to slowly chip away at that original discomfort, and the reality was that Toko did enjoy the company of the giant Felis too... when he wasn't being an insufferable ass at least. "At least TerraSphere offers some really good sights to see... and for a substantially cheaper price, too." So long as you had time, and some gold coins, it felt liek you could go pretty much anywhere a player set their minds too... the only real obstacle being dangers along the way, and even then those could be dealt with if a Traveler had enough experience, or good company around with them.

"A-Arigatooh, Boaris-san!"

A slight bow and some thanks were given to the pigman after the Lepus had gotten to her feet and grabbed the large jacket, watching as the cook finally left the grill to enjoy a well earned break just as the pair stepped out of the small and humble establishment. Before Toko knew it a yawn was already escaping her lips, just as the lion had turned to look at her too.

"Mmm? A little bit, I guess..."

One hand had managed to raise itself just in time to block most of the yawn, before the hare took a moment to rub her eyes a little bit... a wave of exhaustion already seeming to start settling in with every passing moment.

"Just a little bit?" he would ask watching the bunny yawn. "You look like you're about ready to pass out where you're standing. Come on goofball, let's get you into bed." He would open the door, letting her out first before stepping into the crisp cool night air again. "You might want to put the jacket back on too so you don't freeze."

Once back into the cold air, the lion would note the subtle signs of dawns first light creeping on the horizon. He would take some slow ambling steps after the Lepus, yawning ever so slightly as he did so as well. "I think..." he would use covering his mouth. "That I may or may not have eaten a little too much."

That last bite was haunting him ever so slightly, gripping to him and dragging his consciousness down into the depths of a food coma is he wasn't careful. He would probably need to find himself a place to log out, or at least sleep, before returning to the world of Olivier and his drama. No doubt Tony would want him to regail him with this tale, that's for sure.

"But that's the Breakfast shack for you, a lot of good food for dirt cheap."

She stuck out her tongue at the Felis in response, unconsciously following the provided advice as the rabbit draped the rather large jacket over herself once more. It was surprisingly warm and comfortable, which promptly netted another yawn from the hare as she fell in line besides the lion while walking down the street.

"... I may or may not have eaten a little too much."
"Yeah... the food was really good though."

The yawn that suddenly escaped the lion had the Lepus turn to look at Brutus, a smug smirk pulling at her lips in response. "Hah, who's the goofball now? Kitty looks ready for a long catnap~" It wasn't often that she found a chance to try and tease Brutus, and in her tired state poking a jab at the Felis was simply impossible to ignore.

A nod was given in agreement to the sentiments regarding the dinner, already Toko knew she'd become a regular patron of the establishment, before her eyes glanced upwards as she finally noticed the first hue changes in the sky as dawn slowly begun to encroach into the night's territory.

"Uwah... time really flew on by today."

"Urusai."

The lion would quip back, blushing slightly as he gently nudged the Lepus with his elbow. "I'd have been asleep by now but I wanted to make sure I certain someone was taken care of." He would walk in lockstep with her, aking measured paces to not leave her in his fucking dust.

"But if you must know, the cat is in fact ready for a nice long nap. I've got a busy day as Ollie when I wake up. I've got no idea the next time I'll be able to let Bruce loose."

The faire was getting ready to set up in Florida, which would leave him summarily busy during most of his usual hours.

"And time really does fly when you're spending it with the people you care about and having fun." His eyes danced to the Lepus and he would give her another nudge as they approached the inn. "But like all good things, this too must come to an end. Looks like this is your stop."

She couldn't help the prideful and smug grin that snuck its way onto Toko's face as her teasing actually got a quip back from the lion walking besides her, relishing the rarity of the feeling... even if it was a bit short lived.

"Pffft, I'll have you know I need no babysitting..." A tongue was stuck out at the Felis and his retort, before she listened as Brutus explained how Ollie certainly seemed to have a busy day tomorrow... and for the foreseeable future it seemed. "A-Ah, I see... the troupe getting ready for something big?"

There was a faint drop to the rabbit's ears upon hearing her adventuring buddy would probably be missing from the game for a while, before she quietly realized that she had become quite used to spending large amounts of time with the Felis on whatever new adventure caught their fancy for the day.

It would certainly feel a bit lonesome to not have Brutus around for a while...

"Looks like this is your stop."
"Y-Yeah, that's The Spirited Inn alright..."

... and yet right now Toko wasn't feeling very spirited about having arrived.

It would appear the moment of parting was mutually dreaded as they arrived at the inn. He hadn't expected that reaction out of Toko given the events of the night, but his heart fluttered slightly.

"H-hey..."

The sound of his own stuttering voice suprised him, Brutus Dahlgren wasn't a stutterer. Still, he would gently reach up and place a hand on her shoulder in a hopefully comforting gesture.

"Its not like I'll be totally absent...if you want I can ditch some of the nocturnal chicanery if you're willing to catch me during your day?"

If he kept talking he could prolong the goodbye. Keep introducing new conversation topics, stall, lie cheat steal. Whatever it took to buy just a crumb of more time with Toko.

"And even during the day Ill make sure to snag plenty of pictures and whatnot, your inbox is going to be practically cluttered with cool shit and silly stories."

He would force himself to smile for her, swishing his tail to sell the act. "And you can tell me all about your day and the crafts you're working on and the tasks you do to help your neighbors." He would pause. "Sound fair?"

His offer brought a small smile into her lips, and yet the Lepus shook her head in response. "Iie, don't blow your friends off justt o play a VR game, Brutus." Especially when it was a death game of all things, but mostly because his IRL friends also deserved time with the Olivier they knew.

"However, I expect to wake up to a bazillion pictures and text about whatever shenanigans Tony and you got up to during the day. I better be drowning in notifications every time~"

A compromise that she could accept, she only hoped the Felis took it as well. Last thing Nao wanted to do was to monopolize Olivier's time, especially when he was already spending so much of it on her as it was without needing to.

"What do you think, deal?" A hand was extended, the pinky finger stretched out. "I'll do the same too, so... yaksoku nano?"

He would smile at the woman warmly as she extended her pinky to him. "I would be taking a break from them and their monopolization of my time to spare some for the one who doesn't live with me." He would take her pinky in his and chuckle.

"I'll drown you in notifications. You'll see every stupid moment, every time Tony leaves his sword somewhere stupid, every DnD nerd who comes by dressed outlandishly will be documented, every wanna be pirate and Star Trek nerd. It's a promise, but so help me god if you don't do the same." He would take her pinky in one hand and then wrapped his other arm around her pulling the Lepus into a gentle one armed hug.

"I will log on an bitch you out in person so hard..."

The words left his mouth gently as his tail swished. After a moment he would let her go and sigh. "Do me a favor, scurry on up to bed and get some Zs. You can hold on to the jacket till I get back."

"Fiiineee, though I can't promise my updates will be as exciting as Tony's daily adventures~"

With that their pinkies were interlaced together in the universal symbol for a promise, before the Lepus stiffened slightly as she was suddenly enveloped by Brutus' free arm and pulled into a hug. It hadn't been something the hare had been expecting, the sudden closeness allowing Toko to feel the absurd heat that radiated from the giant, and it caused her cheeks to blush in response.

... badump!

"H-Hai hai..." The hare unconsciously pulled the jacket closer to herself as Brutus mentioned she could keep it for the time being, giving a soft nod in response along with her words before she finally headed for the doors of the inn. "J-Just be sure to log off somewhere safe, ookee?"

She gave the Felis a pointed look, her hand resting on the door's handle. "Oyasumi, Brutus..." A soft wave was given before the rabbit finally dipped through the front door of the inn, off to her rented room so she could log off for the night.

"Goodnight Toko, take care of yourself while I'm gone!"

The giant would watch as she ducked into the Inn and out of sight. His heart would drop, his tail ceasing its swooshing. Taking a deep breath, he would turn and begin to walk down the street. The sun had yet to rise, but it was definitely thinking about it. Sluggishly rolling around in its bed, staring at its phone thinking to itself "God just a few more minutes." before it would eventually creep over the horizon.

After a while of walking, Brutus would find himself standing in the main square of town. He would turn to look around, opening his menu and staring at the log out button. He would take a deep breath and tap the button.

...

"MORNIN SUNSHINE!"

Olivier would groan as his ears were assaulted the moment he took of his headset. He would roll over to see the mischievous grin of Anthony who slept in the bunk above him, hanging upside down and peering in at him. "You were asleep for waaaaay too long."

"Just cramming in a last min session before the faire kicks off."

"Ay, attaboy. Time to get this bread gamer."

"Yeah."
Olivier would mutter, blinking slightly. "Lets get this bread."

He would need to scrounge up travel money it seemed.
