-167 HP (Kneel x2)
+16 HP (Rage)

Amisa hummed for a moment, nodding over as the archer defended herself. It wasn't her doing, least of all could she hope for the fellow elf to know what to do exactly while in it...

"True. Can't blame you for what you don't know either."

A misstep she resonates with. Luthien's loudness isn't one, however, as the woman jumped on her figurative seat with her name.

"I'd argue this is the worst time, but that never stopped you." Fiora chimmed in, wasting no more breath as she rushed down the incoming Paladin, it's blade being overwhelmed by her own entirely as she cut through, rending deep into it's flesh in one swift strike.

And it didn't take long for tree jokes and banter to follow up. For once she felt like the real fight was the mental one and not the one infront of her eyes, if only to keep her focus straight and not on the blonde who decided to roll her way into her (a little fucked up) dream.

"Don't fuck around too much. At this rate, and knowing it's a dream, I'm half tempted to cleave you in two."

"It's hard to believe this is the Starcalled Teamwork that brought down the DEADnaught."

Amisa let her crystal arrow lose, the missile tracking onto the Saintess as it went straight against her torso, the explosion following up with a duo of them just as the mist dissipates, overwhelming the magia entirely through a barrage. Several small sets of arrows followed the coordinated assault of their breathen, the frost beginning to spread all across Sal'Vha'Laim's monstrous form until only three of her arms were left loose.

And then the machinery screams, a visceral noise that pierces the sensitive elven ears, the melancholic sound turned into that of a warcry. From the blood and oil rushing down her form, another paladin is formed, crawling out of the pool with the flesh it can gather across the ground and any piece of the DEADnaught at it's reach.

The air would feel dense out of a sudden, and in a moment's notice, gravity would begin to pull them down, slowly at first. Enough of a warning for Fiora to push Amisa out of the way before falling down onto one knee at the sudden shift in gravitational pull. It felt like a vacuum was trying to rip their flesh and absorb it into the ground, and fighting against it was none the easier. It yearned to reply back in full the damage Luthien had caused, and this time, she made sure they both would pay at once, with the greenette being assaulted by the dead hands that tear at her ankles in hopes of nailing her down.

"What the fuck... is this bullshit now. Luth-" Her voice broke down, the struggle to breathe just as painful as the one to move, her mind unable to focus on both things at once aswell as holding herself straight through the weighty blade's support.

"Luthien, now!"

Amisa pulled her bow once more, briefly averting the attention back to herself as she shoot straight at Sal'Vha'Laim. It might have been a window of a second, maybe two, but it was enough- The arrow was forced into the earth, and the spell lifted for that brief moment to give an opening to the ranger.

    ❰ 1124 / 12000 ❱

    ATTRIBUTES

    Move: Immobile | Range: 10 | Taunt DC: 200 | Actions: 3

While both BREAK bars are above 0, Sal'Vha'Laim is immune to all forms of HP damage.
Sal'Vha'Laim's Order BREAK can be targetted by the party's heal and buff action to replenish it.

    Order has been destroyed.

When Freedom's BREAK is depleted, becomes Vulnerable for one hit, then resets on the next.

    ORDER

    • Grasp of The Dead SP 20: Cancel! Metallic hands crawl beneath a target's legs, dealing 40 DMG and reducing movement by -1 until cleansed. If a target is hit again, they will be Immobile for the cycle unless cleansed.
    • Protocol: Will SP 50: Cancel! The Saint calls forth for it's faithful PALADINS every cycle she's alive, summoning 1d2 each cycle.
    • Access Granted: 2475 SP 150: Cancel! An attack for 8d20 DMG on it's target, dealing the same value as splash around it. If any Paladin is caught on the splash, they instead get healed for the same amount.
    • Luzarkanzan is Upon Thee SP 300: Cancel! Changes every tile into a RED FEVER Tile. The Saint also gains 2 movements and can now Move > Act > Move.

    • Dream-Collapse Control/Damage. Destroys a random tile within the map, turning it impassable terrain. If the player is found in it, they take 100 DMG and must step out of the tile. If Taunted, prioritizes the taunter's tile number (but not row). Reduces Order by 50 points.
    • Heartseeker Tank Buster Every two taunts by the same person, The Saint gains an extra action to use Heartseeker and deals 10d20 DMG. Reduces Order by 20 points.
    • Negation Damage Deals 20d20 Damage to a single target and applies one stack of Red Fever
    • Kneel! Damage/Control Forces a target to be Immobile and deals 10d20 Damage to all targets surrounding it
    • M.E.R.C.Y PROTOCOL Attack/AOE/Aura Causes 100 Damage to every player and inflicts them with 5 stacks of Dream Paranoia. This triggers every cycle until her Order BREAK is healed above 0.

Vulnerable from Multi Attack (Outer & Elemental)

"Ahahahaaa…" A nervous laughter escaped Lúthien upon hearing the greenette’s words, it was had to tell if the knightess was actually joking this time around or if these were her true feelings at the time, before Amisa’s words helped cut through the awkwardness.

"What can we say, guess the Starcalled perform well under pressure?" That fight was one the ranger hadn’t been present for, too busy gallivanting through the forest in search of a specific MIT nerd at the time, though she’d seen glimpses of it from Lune’s memories.

There’s little time to celebrate their first successful barrage, the assault to her sensitive ears causing the blonde to immediately raise her hands and cover them as her teeth gritted together. It’s a haunting and melancholic tune, one that Lúthien might’ve been more inclined to listen to had the sound not been grating against her eardrums at that very moment.

There’s no snarky quip this time around, though she’s thankful for the cover Fiora provides them both as the greenette blocks any attack from reaching either archer… until the Saintess turned her attention to drag Fiora, the arms of the dead determined to drag the knightess down into the bloody and tangled root system and exact revenge upon them all.

"Fio!!!" It’s thanks to Amisa’s shout that the blonde doesn’t jump forward to try and free the greenette, logic prevailing as the ranger nocked another pair of arrows into her bowstring. She lacks the fortitude to free Fiora from their grasp, but that would easily end hopefully once they take the Saintess out.

"Just fuck off already, you’re not wanted here lady." Amisa’s arrow provides a window of opportunity for Lúthien to strike, and the elf takes full advantage of the opportunity as her arrows whizz through the air before striking their mark.

One impaled itself deep into the Saintess chest, where her heart should be if the creature follows regular biology, while the other pierces right into her neck as she seeks to silence Sal’Vha’Laim permanently. The Saintess is only afforded a moment for reality to sink in before both wounds glow brightly, exploding in a flurry of astral energy and frozen crystals as the cosmic blizzard wraps around the Saintess—relentless and unforgiving in its onslaught until it finally dies down.

The paladins had begun to collapse on their own weight as the Saintess's voice died off, and melancholy fell upon her crumbling visage. The masses of tendrils within her body tried to seal the many holes it had been riddled with to no avail. For each that tried to rise and cover the hole carved through her heart, five would tear and turn to dust, practically exsanguinated as nothing but air would go across each gaping injury.

And yet it kept trying. Her fingers twisting in agony, uncharacteristically for what's supposed to be a magia. It could feel the pain, the damage, and Luthien could in turn feel the constant fight between emotions and something so cold, so devoid of any feeling, it could not be put into proper words to describe it.

Akin to code for a machine, a directive that could not be denied, and yet the cursed flesh and the emotions it gave fought back in spite of it. Both sides would crumble as soon as their owner did, her frozen lower body keeping her standing.

And at last, the many arms drop onto the ground, each piece of flesh slowly becoming nothing but dust.

And so did the ground begun to do the same. The cavernous underground and it's slimey walls turning into nothingness as they begun to simply disappear, one after another. The dreamscape had begun to digest this nightmare once the conflict had settled.

"You two will wake up now. Don't worry about the clean-up."

Amisa glanced back at the pair as her own body had begun to dissipate much like the rest of the world, passive at this supposed conclusion of her existence. An idea that she imagined, with her last bits of conciousness, wouldn't be so appealing.

Fiora frowned, taking a few steps back at first as she tried to gulp down the idea that this wasn't just death coming after them, "Don't jump into my head without asking first, asshole." Were the last rightful words she could cast in Luthien's direction as one half of her face begun to vanish, and finally not a trace of her was left.

When it reached the blonde, it certainly didn't hurt. The darkness only felt inviting at this point, refreshing. Was this how it felt to 'wake up' while being concious of it? The tingling sensations, the exhaustion, the exertion upon her body, it all seemed to never have happened at all.

"I'm impressed. Say, is this the face you Starcalled do when you are impressed?"

Luthien could feel her body slowing down. Paralyzed, yet incapable of fully disappearing from within this false reality of a dream. A warmth had begun to spread through her shoulder as the hand of a familiar pinkette, coming straight out of the void, showed itself up to watch over the Blonde.

"'Puerto Rican', in your case? Well, whatever the case, you put up quite a show for your peers and us."

"After much consideration, we came to the conclusion that you might just be who we are looking for, but..."

It took a moment for it to realize there wasn't a single word escaping through Luthien's mouth. Only then understanding the predicament the ranger is in. Immobile, left only to take the role of a listener, an observer, as the dream had unfortunately fallen apart all too quickly, enough to rob the vocal chords and the nerveous system out of the blonde.

"...Well, we'll have to discuss our future arrangements later on, when that voracious side of yours isn't constricted by this simulacrum falling apart."

Retiring her blazing hand, the now expresionless visage of the flame warped itself away within the shadows, and finally Luthien could feel her entire being both disappear and reappear all at once.

And when she could open her eyes again, there would be nothing. No Camp Hope, nor the strings of the dream tugging at her senses, but the last place where she rested her head before this oddysey even begun, as if it had been nothing but a dream.

A very vivid, endless dream...

Lúthien was silent even as the Saintess’ voice finally faded into nothingness, her paladins crumbling along with their charge until their darkened remains slipped through the bloody roots like sand. She witnessed as the magia’s body fought against the inevitable again and again, but for each wound the tendrils succeeded to patch a handful more surfaced in different parts.

It was a futile effort, and yet she still continued to persist, a sight that wasn’t too different from the Starcalled that clawed against fate and nature in the endless pursuit of what personally motivated each and every one… but what had truly rattled the blonde were the conflicting emotions that bubbled and spilled forth from the magia.

Lips pressed into a thin line as she bore the brunt of it all, hands quietly balled into tight fists as the ranger sought to keep herself grounded against the onslaught. Nothing was ever so cut and dry, black or white, but Lúthien knew she wouldn’t find any answers within this crumbling nightmare.

"How kind of it to tidy up after itself." Her voice lacked its usual energy as a half smile was given back to Amisa. Their goal had finally been achieved, and exhaustion quickly began to seep into her very bones just as a frown crossed her face as she watched the newcomer’s body start to fade like the rest of this world.

{ Will I see you again? } A silent question that received no answer, though if it was because Amisa wouldn’t or couldn’t answer would remain unknown to the blonde.

"Don't jump into my head without asking first, asshole." The words stung her as Lúthien turned to look back at Fiora, and the frown on the knightess face—expected as it was—did little to lessen the bluntness of her words. "Don’t get stuck in another nightmare then, Nico."

She disappeared in the same manner that Amisa had moments before, the blonde finally left on her lonesome as she gazed over the crumbling remains of this dream. A heavy sigh escaped her lips then, before the elf waited for the same release that had found the two before her.

When the darkness began to wrap around her the ranger welcomed it fully, eager to finally escape this wretched dimension, before an unexpected voice whispered right into her ear. "...!!!" She could only watch as hand finally poked into her field of vision, a warmth pressing against her back and shoulders before long and wispy strands of pink hair also flickered into view.

Paralyzed as she was, there was nothing Lúthien could say or even do as the Flame had her moment, forced into the role of an observer and nothing more against her own will. She was frustrated at her own inability to voice out her own thoughts and complaints back to this being, though nothing seemed able to wipe the defiant glint that persisted within those vibrant crimson eyes.

It’s only after the promise of a future meeting that the Flame finally withdraws her hold on the blonde, allowing the dream to resume its natural course as it gently returns the dreamwalker to her rightful reality…

A sharp gasp echoes inside the small room as Lúthien wakes from her slumber, caused by the sudden inhale of air that floods her lungs. A sliver of moonlight slips into the space thanks to a small gap in the pulled curtains by the window, and the steady breathing of her boyfriend brings a much needed comfort for the blonde.

Slowly but surely the erratic heartbeats inside her chest begin to calm, a quiet sigh slipping through barely parted lips as her hand reaches for her face. Fingers gently trace her eyebrows before rubbing circular motions against the outer sides of her eyes, before she finally turns over to snuggle her frame against the back of the sleeping hunter.

There will be enough time to ruminate over her latest dream at another time, for now all Lúthien wants is to enjoy the remaining twilight hours they have left together before she’s forced to wake up into a world that he’s not at her side.
