The big city, similar to Stokbon and Lucy's hometown, New York... Yet vastly different, everything just felt cleaner and more "fantasy" here. Everything was laced with cobblestone, no expense spared. Very medieval, bringing Lucy's face to light up with a smile. Flower beds literally, everywhere... Lucy skipped through the town, happy for a change of pace. I gotta take Haru and Brutus here!

Lucy moved through the town, turning down random alleys and random streets until she came across something... Out of the corner of her eye, on an elevated surface was a dainty and cute cafe. Squealing with delight, Lucy went there right away. Her heart skipping a beat as her feet pattered on the stone. Making almost no noise due to her not wearing any shoes.

She entered the cafe and began to peruse the various little treats and drinks she could get. Seeing one absolutely adorable cake, Lucy went to pick it up, her intention.. Bring the cake to the cashier and pay for it so she could enjoy its yummyness.

She had recently finished a job for the Guild, and the Lepus had suddenly found herself with unexpected downtime on a city she hadn't fully explored... Toko had kept, for the most part, to Honeyhome but even she had to admit that Finweald had a certain allure of its own. The rabbitfolk decided to take a stroll down the street, with no real goal in mind as she allowed her whims to take her anywhere they pleased.

"Nani ka amai nioi ga suru..."

Her nose twitched in response as a new scent reached her, the sweet tickle of freshly made sweets instantly catching Toko's attention as she adjusted her path. She soon pinpointed the source of the scent and, after crossing through an alley, found a cute little café . Her feet made no sound, the hare like feet having nothing underneath to cause the cobblestone of the road to grunt in response, and in no time the rabbitfolk was sneaking in through the front door of the little shop.

The café was adorable inside as it was outside, and they also carried that aesthetic right into their goods. A particular slice of cake caught Toko's attention, the strawberry with kitty like ears and the white kitten decoration being too irresistible to pass up. Her hand instinctively reached out for the plate, before noticing a hand that was very much not her own grasp the other side of the plate at the exact same time.

"Ah, gomen! Were you gonna buy this one...?"

A quick look confirmed it was the only slice of its type left.

Resistance met Lucy's attempt at snatching the slice of treat, she had noticed it was the last one before she had even gone for it. But she still couldn't resist the cuteness! Looking at the plate, and following the hand that was not hers, Lucy was met with a rabbit girl. And golly-goodness she was adorable. Lucy forgetting the cake existed focused solely on the girl. "You're so cute!-" A moment of silence was broken by the girl's question, Lucy blinking back.

"Uhhh buy what?" Noticing her glance at the pastries nearby, two and two clicked together. "Oh! Uh, I wassss... But if you want it you can have it! Or we can share!" Lucy didn't want to be rude so she stopped looking at Toko's ears, instead focusing on her eyes.

"Is this a cafe you visit often?" Lucy was genuinely curious, even if her question sounded like a pick-up-line. Maybe if this hare did visit frequently, then she would know of other cute places that Lucy could see? Her heart set on discovering new things, especially cute things! Anything pastel, animal-related or whatever just made Lucy feel satisfied in life.

"And do you like cute things? This is a nice cafe, and the cake has cute little kitties on it. If we do share, we can split it directly in half? And each take either the marshmallow or strawberry?" Lucy really wanted the cake, or well, at least part of it... But if Toko wasn't likely to share, Lucy would give it up to her freely. "Oh, I'm Lucy by the way!"

"A-Arigatoo…?" The unexpected compliment had caught the rabbitfolk completely off-guard, a faint blush coloring her cheeks as Toko took a moment to let everything sink in and study the other woman. "A-Ah, I like your hair and its color… kirei dess."

After all a compliment begets another compliment, right? Plus Lucy’s voluminous fiery locks of hair were indeed quite fashionable. Toko couldn’t help a soft giggle though as the other woman finally realized that Toko had wanted the cake as well, finding the matter just a little bit amusing before a nice solution was proposed.

"Yeah, I wouldn’t mind sharing it—after all they must be very good if it’s the only slice left… it’d be a shame if either of us missed out on the experience, ne?"

With the purchase complete the two women had picked a nice spot by the windows of the café to enjoy their treat, offering a nice view of the street outside and the events transpiring as the Lepus delegated the task of dividing the slice to Lucy and however she saw fit to do so.

"I’m Toko, and no… this is the first time I’ve come to this café—but their sweets smelled really good so I couldn’t resist." She had to agree with the woman however, this café was absolutely adorable and they carried the kitten motif well throughout their things—even the cutlery sported little kitten heads at the very top of the handles with various facial gestures to them. "Yeah, it’s a really kawaii place for sure… I might start visiting more often whenever I come to the Guild’s headquarters~"

There were quite a few tables to pick from, and the two settles on one that was near the window. The streets outside bustling with people, the view absolutely astounding. It was a very comfy and cutesy place to sit. Across from Lucy was Toko, who was shining from the light coming in from the window. Lucy would be delegated as the one responsible for splitting the cake in two. She would cut the slice clean in half, also cutting both of the kitty garments in half.
"There we go! Now we can both have part of everything!"

Lucy was pretty curious on what Toko was doing in the city, so she couldn't help but ask after Toko finished introducing herself and how she hadn't come to the cafe before. The cafe reminded her of her little friend companion, Kiki, probably because it was literally cat themed and Kiki was a cat.
"So I take it you regularly come to this city then, Toko? This is actually my own first time being here. It's quite the aesthetic, and I absolutely love it...."

Trailing off, Lucy's thoughts would instantly be drawn to the fact that she could probably set up a flower shop here! It would be the perfect place, plus she could gather the flowers herself in fields nearby! Maybe even rope some friends into helping.... Maybe Toko would be willing to take her around the city later to tour it... They could shop till they drop! All the while scouting out a potential area for her flower shop.

There was no complain from the Lepus as Lucy went onto her task of dividing the cake slice for them, the rabbitfolk pressing her hands together as a soft "Itadakimass~" tumbled from her lips. A bite of the sweet was promptly tried out, before the fighter squeaked in delight at the flavoring. No one would replace the sweets Esther made back in Honeyhome... but this café was nothing to scoff at either.

"Ah, uhn, I pass by on occasion though usually I pack my schedule to make the most out of the trip so I don't get to sightsee around too much." It took quite a while to get here from Honeyhome after all, and the Lepus didn't exactly know many Landers—or players for that matter—around Astorea's new capital... not in the way she knew most people from the small village in Eastern Brisshal at least. "This is the first time I've actually had some time to look around... but I agree, it is a really pretty city."

She had to admit that, for a capital city, Finweald's natural inclined medieval aesthetic was quite attractive for the Lepus... and, with the Guild's Headquarters situated in this place, Toko had considered on more than one occasion to get a living place here. That was a faraway goal right now of course, and she was very happy in the humble room she rented from Mabelle's inn, but eventually when she had more funds the rabbitfolk thought it would be a nice place to have a second place to stay at when needed.

"What about you, Lucy? Where are you normally at while playing?"

Realizing that she had yet to eat, the ruly reddie would copy Toko's movements, taking a small bite from her cake. Her eyes widening, Holy bunny, that's delicious.... She couldn't help herself from taking another bite, followed by another. Her eyes closing in content at the flavors bursting on her tongue.

As the Lepus spoke to her and explained a few things, Lucy would continue to eat from her cake. It wasn't long before she had finished half of it, nodding to a few things here. She would continuously switch between looking at her fork (as she put it in the cake) and looking at Toko as she spoke. Swallowing the bite she had taken a few seconds before the question was proposed she would answer after a second of silence.

"To be honest, I'm usually in Finweald in Stokbon or Dunnstads... Though it would be nice to stay in Astorea for awhile... Might even visit here more often, the capital is lovely. I haven't really explored much outside of it as well." Letting her words sink in, Lucy would take another bite. Smiling with her mouth closed in pure ecstasy. "Since you agreed to share, you surely can't be a bad person. What if we both go sightseeing after this? We can get accustomed to the city and have the company of another!" The faerin offered her company, unless she was reading the room wrong, she assumed that Toko currently had nothing she had to do on her plate... Which meant it was the perfect opportunity to go sightseeing.

Besides, Terrasphere was the best place to just randomly talk to stranger and do stuff with them. It was the culture.

"Ah, that's in Falderen, ne?"

Between her time with the Guild and her preference for Honeyhome Toko hadn't really explored much of the Lander native nation here in The World that was neighbors with Astorea... although she had heard some tidbits here and there to how the relationships between the two countries had been shaky to say the least in the beginning.

"I've visited Stokbon on rare occasions when some of the Honeyhome crafters need to deliver goods there—bodyguard escort against bandits and monsters basically—but I've usually come back just as quickly."

The treat was finished before Toko realized it, though it should have come as no surprised considering it was quite delicious... and the present company was pleasant too. "Mmm... oishikattaaa~!" In retrospect perhaps it was a good thing that she had been able to share the treat with Lucy, since Toko had been able to enjoy the sweetness of it without it actually straying into cloying territory.

"Hmmm... I do have free time today. Wakatta, I think that sounds like a great idea, Lucy~"

The reddie head nodded at mention of Falderen, blushing and turning bright red as she realized that she had said Finweald instead... Thankfully it seems that Toko had caught her mistake, maybe...

Though it would be better to say something than let her think she had been to this city before. "My mistake, I didn't mean Finweald.. I'm still pretty new so any names that are similar are difficult for me to remember which is which...." It wasn't the full truth, but it was at least half of it.

Lucy is literally the reincarnation of Dory from Finding Nemo.

Upon hearing that Toko had free time, Lucy clasped her hands together and quickly scarfed down the other half of her treat. Rubbing her stomach, "God that was so good. Did you enjoy yours?" Lucy ushered towards the treat that Toko had finished.

Hopefully the rabbit had enjoyed it just as much as she had hers. If not, then Lucy would proceed to buy Toko more treats and snacks and drinks until she felt fulfilled.

"How far is the guild from this building? I'd love to see somewhere you spend a lot of your time at~"

She had figured it had been a slip of the tongue when the redhead had mentioned Finweald in her list of cities, having decided to not make mention of it 'cause Toko herself could understand mixing up city names—especially new ones you were now committing to memory. "It's okay, don't worry about it... I still get quite a few of them confused myself, since I've stuck mostly to Honeyhome while playing." It was the honest truth, and the Lepus couldn't help but chuckle softly upon remembering the time she and Ru Ning had gotten lost through the village in the earlier days.

"Hai! The cake was super good and just so fuwa fuwa~" She squeaked in delight at the thought, her hands moving in the universal action of something fluffy and spongy. "It's a really good place, though I still think Esther's honey cakes are still the best."

At the next question Toko took a moment to think, the Lepus trying to remember through which road and alleys she'd gone through when the café scent had pulled her over. "Mmm, I think about three—maybe four—blocks away...?" That sounded about right... maybe... but if not there was always the option of asking a Lander for directions, so it didn't worry Toko too much.

Esther's Honey Cakes sounds like a building filled with paradise, anything that had honey it in was supremely delicious. It made her mouth drool just thinking of honey. "You'll have to take me sometime then! I really wanna check it out."

Uncertainty was filling Toko's voice as she tried to say where the guild was in the structure of the city. It didn't fill Lucy with much to rely on, but that didn't matter! Even if they got lost, the two would surely have fun and find it eventually.

Lucy took a sip of some water that had magically appeared on their table, that somehow, they happened to not notice before now (????). When she finished her sip she would set the glass down, "Are you ready to head out now?"

Lucy waited for Toko to reply and say yes in some way before she got up from the table, thanking the people that were working, before heading out the door she had entered from. "So you said three to four blocks away, what direction do we go?"

"Sure, I bet you're gonna love the place. It's a rustic bakery in Honeyhome." Her mouth almost watered at just the thought of the place, nothing could truly beat taking a bite from a freshly baked bread bun slathered with butter... especially with everything being so fresh in this medieval like game world. "Esther-obasan makes the most delicious fresh bread, and also various desserts."

You had to hand it to this café, the waitresses were very good at making sure they didn't interrupt patrons enjoying their sweet delights, and the Lepus took a few final sips from her own glass of water before nodding in confirmation to Lucy's suggestion. "Mhmm, if you're ready I'll lead the way." A small tip was left on the table by the rabbitfolk before they exited, while the custom was not usual in her home country she had seen other players perform the action in establishments from time to time... and the café really had good food and service.

"Well I came over through that alley over there..." For a moment the fighter mused as she checked her own mental map, before feeling confident in her location and pointing to the right. "This way, let's go!"

She would make sure the human followed before leading the way, confident steps hiding the fact that Toko hoped she was lucky enough to properly retrace her steps back to the guild... then again the streets of Finweald had much to offer, and so even if a detour or two occurred the Lepus doubted her new companion would mind it much.

The two fell in step next to each other, heading down the... weird alleyway? There were plenty of streets that were lit better, and much cleaner... Though she couldn't complain much, the alley was probably a faster route than the main streets.

After some time, the duo still hadn't reached their destination. The Faerin wasn't one to call out people that got lost, because she herself oftentimes got lost... But the two seemed to walk a total of like seven blocks before Lucy finally decided to speak up.

"Uhm... Per chance, do you think we're lost?" Lucy reached out and locked arms with Toko. The sense of security with another person washing her stress and anxiety away almost instantly. Lucy hated when she was lost alone, so the fact that she had a friend with her was very comforting. "Sorry if you don't like to be touched, I just don't enjoy being lost alone. So it's kinda grounding for me to lock arms with you." Her eyes were looking at Toko's face, trying to grasp her expression and what she was thinking. "Should we ask someone where the Guild is? Or maybe we could get out of the alley and just explore the main streets?"

"Aaah... shimatta, I think you might be right."

Had she picked the wrong alley? She had been so sure this was the one that lead back into the gorgeous street she had walked through before the scent of the café had caught her attention... but instead it felt like they had been walking for hours, or worse walking in circles. Softly a hand patted the arm that had linked to her arm, giving the Faerin a comforting squeeze.

"Mmm, that's okay—I don't mind." The familiarity of the touch reminded Nao of the times she'd walk the streets with her grandmother, hooked by each other's arms as they delighted in the simple things. "Yeah, we should probably ask someone... but definitely out of this alley."

After all, even the prettiest of cities also contained dangerous places... and there was nothing like a darkened and isolated alley, just liek this one for example, for unsavory beings to lurk and wait for the next possible victim to stroll on by.

A reassuring pat was all she needed to feel better, her smile returning to her face as the two guided each other out of the alley-way and into the more, delectable street.

Instantly, the vibe changed, rather than the moody and dirty alleyway the two were surrounded by beautiful buildings. The only difference between this street and the street they had been on at the cafe was the fact that there was MUCH less people bustling about going about their daily lives.

Either way, this street seemed relatively safe and Lucy instantly pointed out a building that had caught her eye. It was a shop with an outstanding window display (in her eyes). It was a pet shop! She dragged Toko over, pointing at the glass, but not touching it. Three cute small puppies would be sleeping in a pile, and Lucy let out an audible sound of joy. "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my GODD! THEY'RE SO CUTE, CAN WE GO IN?" Lucy squeezed Toko's arm, looking at her with puppy dog eyes and a puffed lip. Begging for the two of them to check out the store.

It was nice to be back on the regular roads of the city, the mood instantly lifted as they stepped away from the back alleyways. " love all the flowers and trees they have around this place." It was a nice mixture between urbanism and organic, and while not as extensive as in her village the city managed to retain a fresh and relaxing atmosphere.

"Mmmm?"

Toko looked in the direction that Lucy pointed, catching the cute sign that had caught the red head's attention, before she chuckled as Toko allowed Lucy to drag her over to the large glass window. "Awww, look at them sleeping together... kawaii." Not one to deny her new companion a pet shop visit Toko nodded, moving to open the door before holding it open so Lucy could step inside.

"Let's take a look and see what they have~"

After all who could resist seeing cute baby animals?

Lucy's eyes sparkled when Toko mentioned the flowers and trees, her gaze fixating on Toko as she found a similar interest. "I've been thinking about that ever since I entered this city. I just love nature, and flower and trees and literally everything. Animals, anything cute, fluffy. But the flowers here are so pretty, in the real world I have a flower shop! Unfortunately I can't go pick them from the fields and gardens myself, but.... I still get to arrange them in beautiful displays. Ever since I first stepped foot in this game, I thought it would be lovely to have my own sort of florist shop in this world as well! There's so many new flowers i've never seen, some even having magical properties to them! Just imagine the beautiful arrangements and things I could do! I could even pick them myself, forage and gather... Everything! Gahh, it just makes me so happy. I especially love red flowers because-" Lucy stopped talking, realizing she had been rambling. "I am so sorry- I started rambling without realizing..."

The pet shop door was now open, and they both could step inside. Lucy took the lead, entering the shop. Her eyes adjusted and instantly she began to notice animals of all kinds, shapes, colors, literally all the above. There were even exotic animals! Lucy also took note of two sets of stairs, one lead up, and one lead down. Lucy meandered over to the animal that appeared to be the cutest, it was a small, fluffy squirrel. Though it had eight tiny little things nuzzled up by its stomach. "Oh my god, look at these squirrels."

"Yeah, I agree. Honestly, between Falderen and Astorea? I definitely prefer the latter, it feels more organic and alive."

She listened as Lucy shared about her life on the real world, surprised to hear she owned a flower shop. "Obaachan loved to garden, though we mostly grew produce back home for eating. She did care for a few flowers, and they always had the loveliest of aromas." Again came the feeling, that lingering thought in the back of her head, before the Lepus shoved it to the back of her mind.

"Oooh, that would be delightful! If you ever need help let me know, I have Nature and Geomancy magic~ Oh, and Astramancy too, though I'm not sure if that could help...?"

She was enjoying her time with the redhead, amused at the few common interests they were able to share even though they had just met not terribly long ago. Once inside she watched as Lucy became more excited, chuckling softly before nodding in agreement.

"They're really cute... this place sure has a lot of variety too."

Lucy clasped her hands together, letting go of Toko's arm. "Those masteries are perfect! And same with Astramancy! Aren't you able to foretell the future with that one? Maybe you could help me chart ahead of time all of the flowers that are new to me in this world, their blooming time. Best time to plant them! All of that! You could even help me breed new flowers too!" Lucy was excited for her plan, and having Toko by her side would make it that much easier! Having a popular flower shop where she could pick and grow them herself was just within her reach!

"There's animals of all kinds, plus it's bigger than I expected. I wonder if they have any bunnies! Bunnies are my favorite! Oh- err..." She looked at Toko, "Guess that means you're meant to be my best friend~"

Looking around at the animals a few more moments she would stumble on a cute kitten that reminded her of the one she had back at Brutus' house. She had asked him to keep it there with his so they could have fun together. They pretty much looked identical. She pointed it out, and told Toko of the kitten she kept with Brutus, along with sharing the tales of her adventure with him.

"I could try...? Honestly I haven't explored that part of the magic much, I'm not sure how it even works, but we could give it a try one day?"

She was easily roped into the redhead's plan, delighted to see how Lucy would manage and tend to her future garden shop. It had been a while since the Lepus herself had handled any type of plants, so perhaps this would be a good way to get back into the hobby now that her grandmother had passed on.

"Hahah, I can't blame you there, usagi wa hontooni kawaii dess~"

She listened with interest as Lucy began to speak about a kitten she had, along with one that Brutus also kept, upon spotting the tiny kittens in an area of the shop.

"Eeeeh, that's really cool. I didn't know Brutus-nii had gotten a kitten recently, it's nice they're keeping each other company since they're still small."
