As Akemi had suspected, being the passenger on a motorbike was an interesting experience. A lot more exposed than a car, the wind whistling past her at high speed as her red-haired friend navigated her way through the traffic with an ease that spoke of skill and experience. Her arms were firmly wrapped around Sarah's waist so she didn't have to worry about falling off, although she was a bit worried about squeezing Sarah too hard.
She didn't think it'd take very long for them to reach Sarah's apartment, which did leave her with the question of what they'd do once they got there. She was quite interested in Sarah's life, given her affection for the detective, but nothing Sarah had said indicated that her apartment was anything out of the ordinary. Well, they probably could find some way to spend time together, and Akemi didn't doubt that it would be an enjoyable time.
There was one thought that flitted through her mind that made her cheeks turn red, her helmet thankfully hiding it, but even if that did happen it'd probably be a bit later in the day before they got there.
Once they came to a halt Akemi would give it a couple of seconds before letting go of Sarah and sitting up straight, pulling the mildly uncomfortable helmet from her head and exhaling heavily.

She held the helmet up to her face, studying it from the outside as she slowly turned it in her hands. It certainly made her feel safer on the bike, but she couldn't imagine anyone wearing this thing for any longer than needed.

Phew. It's a bit difficult to breathe in one of those things, isn't it?
