Rumors of a clinic around these parts had sent the shy and withdrawn girl in search, for finally she'd heard of something that maybe, just maybe, she could both help with and be helped by. A clinic that had something of a decent reputation, though she'd heard one or two things about the woman that ran it that had caused her some second, third and fourth thoughts. Eventually she'd had to just throw her caution to the wind and head out in search of it. Apparently some kind of which lived there, capable of brewing potions, though more often than not she enacted magics to heal victims that had come to the clinic.
Though the magic sounded impressive, that wasn't quite what Delice was interested in. The knowledge of potions and different ingredients was what she sought. She had no clue if it was a Lander or a Traveller that ran the clinic, but at the very least, perhaps she could be of some use, since she'd taken Alchemy as a Mastery and all. Heck, if she was lucky, maybe the clinic would even be able to pay her for her services! That would be ideal, since she really did need to start looking into ways to sustainably produce potion ingredients, at least plant-based ones, as quickly as she could. That meant money would be essential, since she'd need land, if not home, to grow these ingredients.
Still, now that she was actually standing here, outside of the front door, she sure was nervous! Surely a fellow healer was a gentle soul, like herself, so really she didn't know why she was so anxious and nervous. A lifetime of being bullied and seeing everybody as a threat had really left some marks in her psyche that refused to go away even now.
She took a deep breath in to calm her nerves, before she slowly knocked her fist against the door, the hollow knocking sound ringing out as the small faerin girl shuffled in place. All she could do was wait and hope the witch answered and that she was willing to teach Delice how to be a healer.
