"Jingle bells, Jingle bells~" Kyanna muttered a few times to the little mushroom, swaying her index as if it was a conductor's stick. The little mushroom wiggled along, making the fungi witch smile satisfied with a big nod, peeking behind her back to try and see if anyone was nearing the meeting spot they had settled for Kyanna and her Secret Santa to meet, at the entrance of the Folk St. Market's street, with the market brimming with lights and decorations of Wintersday.

"She should be coming soon-" She whispered to the little mushroom, giving its cap a gentle pat to tuck it inside of the gift box she had prepared, standing up and clearing her throat as she slapped off the snow from her knees and peeked around, still trying to find any sign of her Secret Santa.

Aerial, was her name, but she was still unsure of how she looked like.

Agh! She was late! Which, honestly, wouldn't be a surprise for most but this was a complete and utter stranger. What if her Secret Santa buddy already left, feeling forgotten and alone within the festive streets? That certainly wouldn't do.

With the help of her user interface, she scanned the crowd. NPC, NPC, some random player, another random player... There! Kyanna Wynne.

Two hot cocoas precariously balanced in either hand, Aerial arrived with frazzled hair and tired lungs. "Ahh! I'm so sorry I'm late! Will this hot cocoa work as a peace offering?" she offered the drink to the girl as well as a hopeful, apologetic smile.

When the woman appeared, Kyanna was surprised by the way she came so abruptly. Her eyes grew wide at the clumsy sight, making a soft giggle escape from her lips as she shook her head. "Are you alright?" She asked, looking at the drink and smiling widely before taking the mug with both of her hands, after slipping her gift under her robes, that is.

"You didn't need a peace offering, but I'm accepting a hot cocoa. It is so cold!" Kyanna feigned a shiver for emphasis, tilting her head as she looked the woman up and down.

"You are... Aerial, right? It is nice to meet you." She said with her usual, friendly tone, approaching the older woman and tilting her head. "You didn't need to run though, you could've just sent a message telling you would take a bit." Kyanna said, before pausing and pondering...

... Could you even send messages to people that weren't in your friend list?

"Perfectly fine!" Why wouldn't she be? She had everything under control. There was absolutely no reason to be concerned by her frazzled appearance. Yep, totally normal for the windswept woman. And it wasn't like she ran into a wagon of fruits, knocking them to the ground, and angering the cabbage vendor. Nope! Why would anyone even think she'd do something like that? (Aerial glanced behind her to check for any pursuers).

On the bright side - of course, not that there was a dark side - Kyanna seemed unphased by her tardiness. Instead, the girl assured her that she wasn't pissed. "Very cold." she agreed, "It is very hard to resist a good cup of hot chocolate in this sort of weather."

"You could've just sent a message..." The woman paused mid-sip. Her eyes peeked over the top of the steaming drink as she sheepishly chuckled. "Honestly, that thought didn't even cross my mind." So much for being an expert gamer.

"Anyway, uh, what exactly are we supposed to do? I signed up on a whim and didn't really check the details."

Kyanna giggled at the fact the messaging didn't even cross the other girl's mind, making her wonder if the other was so busy or if something else was into play.

However, as soon as she voiced the fact she didn't know what they were supposed to do, Kyanna blinked with her mouth forming a small 'o' shape. It seemed like the other woman was simply the type to go with the flow, without giving much thought to it.

"We are supposed to gift each other." Kyanna explained, tilting her head as she drew her mug closer to her lips, taking a sip of it as she left her sentence to sink in.

"Phew-" Kyanna slipped.

"And this hot cocoa is a very nice gift from you! Thank you so much!" She smiled, as warmly as the hot cocoa was. "That also means I should gift you something as well, right? Gifting a stranger is really hard, but I hope I've made a good choice..." Kyanna took her large witch hat off, thrusting her hand into it, and shuffling as if the hat was bottomless.
