Tertus Valley
Hovering over the gargantuan recess that is Calamity Deep is the lush, permanently springtime landmass known as Tertus Valley. The majority of this region is occupied by verdant hills and rolling plains, with occasional rockfaces that naturally divide the land and mark elevation. Long and winding rivers marble the region, nourishing the land where they travel. And, where no one can miss it, rises a massive mountain range whose peak is hidden among the clouds. Any traveler who is familiar with highland biomes will be able to draw many similarities to Tertus Valley's lush and open landscape.
Although there is a lot more to Tertoria than this beautiful valley, the majority of the Tertorian life and culture concentrates here at what most people refer to as the unofficial capital, Gardibrook. Meanwhile, the actual capital city, Tertus Elania is inaccessible for all, but members of the Order of Tria.
While Tertus Valley is a populated region, there are massive distances between cities and smaller towns, and so all Tertorian settlements are connected via a well-developed system of roads. The roads continue on to the skybridges that connect Tertoria to Tertus Valley and its sibling landmasses.
Adventurous visitors may encounter all sorts of wildlife and dangers by going off the beaten path. The awe-inspiring sight of the gargantuan recess that is Calamity Deep can be gazed upon at the edge of the landmass, marked by steep rockfaces and a thin layer of fog.

- STAR HEIGHTS: A towering mountain range that looks more like one large cliff rising up into the clouds. It forms a sort of barricade north of the valley, but no one knows from whom... or what. Regardless, many adventurers enjoy challenging themselves to climb them and see what lies on top, though the scenic upward route is occasionally ruined by the rotted corpses of unlucky climbers. At higher elevations, a four-winged breed of bird called [[Ascent Reaper]] can be found. They are infamous for tearing explorers from the cliff and either feasting on them midair or dropping them onto rocky surfaces below to soften them up for their young.
- ELANIA HIGHWAY: A network of interconnected cobblestone roads that connect the scattered, civilized parts of the valley. A statue of one of the four Star Maidens can be encountered every couple of miles. These statues provide a protective ward that keeps travelers safe in their moment of respite. To further protect those who uses the highway, magical lamps are placed on the roadside and enchanted to light up during the night. The Kingdom devotes a lot of budget and manpower into maintaining the roads to make traveling a pleasant experience on the highway. However, while one may frequently come across merchants, acolytes, and vacationing nobles here, dangers always find a way to hinder regular folks.
