The sea of yellow and brown autumn leaves was scattered through the air as something dashed above them. Jumping from place to place and floating extended distances without touching the ground, it was almost as if gravity barely affected the person. Indeed, MAI was eager to make use of her new powers in this strange world to escape the newly found dangers. A pack of wolves was dashing right after the girl, as if maddened. She, on the other hand, had little interest in fighting them and decided to flee instead.

The hunting animals were, however, persistent. As they started catching up, the Magia looked over her shoulder and briefly moved her body into a position to leap high in the the air. With no resistance from gravity, she landed on a high-up branch of one of the many trees with ease. But now she was faced with a bit of a dilemma. As the wolves below growled and clawed at the tree's bark, were she to try and flee again, or engage? Or, perhaps, she could wait for someone to go by and help her out a bit?

"Oh, gosh, is this the right way?" A lost Juniper said aloud to herself, strolling through the woods with uncertainty practically pouring from her. It was so easy to get turned around or lost in the woods, and she wasn't a fan of being lost. She was looking for a particular lost item for a quest, and she was told there was some kind of ruins this way, but didn't bring a map of the location or the area like a dummy.

It was just as she was chastising herself for making this harder than it had to be that she heard commotion not too far in the distance, her fox ears twitching at the sound of growling, barking, and clawing at bark. Someone was in trouble!

Running towards the danger, glad to have some kind of direction and possibly a person who could help her not be lost, she readied her sphera and approached. As the wolves came into view, she chanted her attack line for her favorite combo and chain lightning struck all of them at once. She spun into a twirl of her robes and as she found her footing again, followed up the combo with a lightning storm centered over them. With that, they ran away to avoid being vanquished on the spot, and Juni was glad that she didn't have to hurt the big doggos anymore.

Looking up into the tree, she blinked. Another magia, huh?

"Saw you might need some help, hope you don't mind! You can call me Juni."

Just as the girl contemplated how to get out of this pickle without having to fight and kill something, someone else had joined and almost did the deed for her. Though the wolves managed to run off after being hit a couple of times, and as things were, the assailant did not give chase. Instead, they stopped below the tree and looked up at the stranded Magia. A somewhat unfortunate thing as MAI did not manage to pull her hood up in time to conceal herself and her race. At least it didn't seem like the fox girl was upset in any way.

"Don't mind, no. Thank you for the help."

With no more danger present, the girl would take a leap and her body gracefully gladed down toward the ground where she touched down.

"MAI. My name. Unusual place to find someone else, this forest."

"Good to meet you, MAI! Yea, I was looking for some ruins around here but I think I got lost. Good thing I did, though, huh?" She asked with a smile, happy with herself for helping a random stranger. Maybe another friend? It seemed like she was another magia, considering her manner of stiff speech. It was funny to her how all the magia she'd met so far were like that, mostly business and no fluff.

"Anyway, mind if I ask what you're on your way to doing? Anything fun, exciting? My quest can wait if you're looking for some help or a companion." She asked plainly, hoping not to scare a potential new friend away by being too forward. It was always hit or miss when it came to talking to new people and seeing if the vibes worked out, but it was always worth a shot, for better or worse.

The Magia wasn't exactly lost, but she did not have a goal or desired destination here, either. Just wandering about seemed like a good enough way of finding out more about this strange new world. And, as it turned out, it happened to be a decent way of meeting new faces as well. Very pretty new faces, even.

"Wandering around, trying things out. Pack of wolves turned out to be a bit more vicious than expected. But anti-gravity practice paid off."

As she spoke, she looked up at the branch she glided down from as if to emphasize that motion and how it was allowed by the very thing she spoke of.

"But if you're looking for ruin... I can fly you up. Let you look around. Should be easy to spot from high enough altitude."

Since MAI didn't have any immadiate way of repaying Juniper for the assistance with the wolves, this felt like a good start. Afterward, she could help the fox get where she needed to be and all would be repaid. While they were at it, it would not hurt to get to know each other either, or so she at least believed.
