"Goodness... You two actually did it..." The fairy blinked, stupefied, then looked at Max's wide wounds, fluttering her wings and worriedly circling him. "Ah! Look at you, I told you to be careful!"

"Ugggggghhhhhhhh--" Max groaned, holding his ribs until he felt a prickled on his arm, making he let out a squeaky- "Ook!" And perk up, feeling the pain fade away, along with his more severe wounds closing, even if not entirely... But at least he wasn't bleeding anymore. "Damn, this is good, Imoogi." Max stood, tapping his sides and then blinking, looking at the wounded adventurer and the dead adventurer (that was no longer as dead), both of them unconscious.

"Hell yeah! Look at this big, fat, juicy, sack of thousands gold, I tell you!" Max cheered along with the snake girl, clenching his fists excitedly.

"But carrying these guys and this big furball will be a tough deal. Don't you have some strength potion with you? Or maybe some spinach?" He asked, soon tucking himself under the bear, struggling to stand and taking a firm stand.

Once the others were dealt with, Imoogi finally took a potion for herself. Selflessness and putting-others-before-yourself wasn't her thing, but it probably made her look cooler. She looked at the owlbear, and then to the unconscious adventurers.

"I don't think I've got a strength potion strong enough to handle all three of these guys." She walked up to the owlbear, tongue flicking out as she examined it. Feathers and fur indeed, though it was a mystery how anyone got close enough to tell without dying. She dipped her finger into one of Dynamax's wounds and licked the blood off her finger.

Plenty of life force in that. She could use that.

She stepped back and began to pull her alchemy tools out of her inventory. "But I've got a better idea. I'm gonna make a signal so the others can come here. Then we can let them do the work."

Imoogi pulled out a large firework - something she'd made a while ago for fun. She found a relatively flat place she could set it, lit the fuse, and scrambled away.

The firework took off with a pop and hiss, trailing bright red smoke as it flew. An unmistakable signal, and one that hopefully wouldn't blow away soon.

...and in the meantime, Imoogi had some life force to harvest. "Hey, Max! Wanna see how you disembowel something?"

Max watched the firework being set off as a signal, with hsi face slowly shifting into a frown as he considered that they probably would need to share some of the rewards with the others...

Or well, he hoped not, since they got to defeat that thing all by themselves, on top of saving two others, like Imoogi had mentioned. "I guess we are going to need to count on them, then-" He huffed, getting out from under the bear, casting a glance at it with a squint.

"Stop being so pouty, you greedy monkey. They won't steal your reward!

"Hmph! I'm not worried about that!" He crossed his arms, turning his face away, only for his attention to be caught by Imoogi's offer to teach him something, that made his eyes and lips grow in a smile. "Wait, really? Kickass. Let's do it!" He said, excited to be taught how to do it.

Especially if it gave him more loot money in the future.

@Imoogi (End on your next? :3)

Imoogi grinned. She really did like this kid, in the end. Normally she didn't care for them, but this one seemed to have his head on straight. More so than the adults did, at least. All she had to do was keep them from putting weird ideas in his head about how they shouldn't play the video game and maybe he'd be a kid worth keeping in contact with.

She pulled out a knife.

"Alright, Max, I hope you're ready for some blood and guts, because there's going to be a lot of them."

Imoogi walked up to the bear and pulled up her sleeves. Disemboweling was smell, messy work, and she still wasn't great at it. But organs were organs, and it was that stuff that really made money when you sold it. Plus, other people weren't prone to complaining when you were covered in gore. It was practically a natural coward repellent.

...and if it really became a problem, then she could give Max his first ninja skills lesson.

@Dynamax ((Sounds good!))
