Personality
Mia is your typical nice but very weird type of girl. She tends to keep to herself and not bother anyone else, only focusing on a small pocket of people she can trust to not judge her that hard in spite of being completely oblivious to her surroundings. Very reserved but quick to jump into topics she is a fan of. She's intrigued by what others do and
Her personality Ingame becomes proof of her lack of social skills in both worlds once she adopts the persona of Elesis Blackstone, a chivalrous fox girl with a heart of gold that was meant to represent everything she wanted to be but couldn't, and somehow pulls off the social aspect far better whenever she is roleplaying than when she isn't. Naive but charismatic in her own way if one can get to understand the broken, shakespearean speech she struggles a lot upholding.
Positive: Balanced, Cooperative, Dutiful, Good-Natured, Resourceful.
Negative: Anxious, Impulsive, Clingy, Pedantic, Tasteless.
Background
Mia’s life never stood up for more than mediocrity. An average kid going to an average school in an average neighborhood, with the most thrilling stories being left for a kid whose imagination and a small group of like-minded children could come up with. Her boldness died with the passage of time, but Mia kept this same little group of friends she’s made so many stories with.
Her family never asked much out of their only daughter, and her grades were usually high enough to not bother her much about it. Despite the bullying she went through at school, Mia was quick to deal with this in the only way she knew: by doing everyone’s assignments, until most turned to passive aggressiveness instead.
Having grown out of high-school came with the loss of many friends and “friends”, perhaps the most painful aspect of adulthood. Parting ways with her friends left a hole she couldn’t fill with social media alone, not with how different she is from them.
Then it came. As if a door that opens to reveal a new light, a mysterious Email that granted access to the cursed, infamous Terrasphere. VR games were not a strange aspect of her life, but they never satiated her appeal with how limited they could prove to be in many aspects such as mobility or interactions.
But apparently, these were plentiful within this one. It granted new horizons to explore on a dull life, and an alternative to therapy: If she couldn’t fix her social skills in her own reality, then maybe in the next one it would.
Adopting a name of her own making based on what OCs and fanfictions she collected as the most accurate to her tastes, Mia dived deep into the game, only to find that…
A lack of acceptance would be present here too.
