Personality
Max is a boy of ferocious nature. He is resilient, determined and imposing, at the unfortunate cost of being rather narrow-minded. He lives in his own world of fantasy in his mind, having a particular taste for video games, that only makes his imagination flourish even more as he seeks for things he deem the most important: Adventure, Power and above all... Loot.
He seeks to be the most powerful, he seeks to be the richest- But at the same time, he isn't willing to do it at the expanse of others, because his mother taught him to never do such a bad thing.
He also tries to not be an ass to a girl, because his father taught him to be a gentleman (Unless she kicks his butt, then, his dad told him to kick her back!)
That does mean he can be an ass to other boys though, but not too much, because then he would be going against what his mother taught him first.
At times, Max will take the Power and Loot seeking to a very personal level, which may cause him to make terrible mistakes, just like any youngster would do. Perhaps because of his life conditions, that subconsciously made him settle in his mind that it was the best way to fight and cope against something he can't fully understand how to solve.
(His Birthday is on June 17th)
Positive: Resilient, Determined, Imposing, Honest, Adventurous
Negative: Greedy, Power-hungry, Narrow-minded, Reckless, Delusional
Background
Max has been born in a humble family, having lovely parents that, despite all the difficulties, always tried to give the boy a good home to live and whatever they could do to make him smile and grow healthy.
No matter how much in debt they sank in, Max never truly had to spend a day without a food in his plate. There were ups and downs, sometimes it wasn't enough to complete more than a meal for the day, but there were also small times of fortune, with a particular moment where his parents efforts grew fruits enough to give them a bit more freedom.
Freedom enough for them to even muster to by Max a small toy. A VR Device, one of the lowest budgets, but enough to have some good fun. His joy was immensurable, to have his first VR, and to probably retire the old video games from his father, that he had played and repeated endlessly.
This joy, however, was shortlived. It only took a trip back home, after buying the VR Device, that the car they were in met a brutal ending. Miraculously, the boy was pretty much unscatched, but the same couldn't be said about his parents, that were both gone at once. The shock of the incident was tremendous, enough for most of his memories during, and recently before and after it simply shutted down from his mind.
Now living with his grandparents, even if he didn't remember the worse of what happened, he knew there was a gap in his emotions, and without his parents, the minimum of luxury and love he had surrounding him disappeared, and with the only thing that he managed to keep being the picture of the ones that gave him love and the last gift they had given to him.
With no hopes, but also lacking the awareness of how dire his situation was, Max was a lost child... Until the opportunity of being something more than a mere sad kid appeared-- Terrasphere. There, he could be what he was, without the limitations that made his parents work so much to make him grow.
It was time for his choice, despite being so young, to do the choice of a grown up:
To reject his Humanity, and to become Monke.
