Town of Cindershine - Border of Lyrwick

The invitation came with a raven and a letter written with a meticulous and fancy handwriting, one that almost looked mechanical from how perfect it was. The invitation for the Trevor's estate came from the man himself, that did it in a way that was almost way too random and unexpected, but he was certain she wouldn't reject it.

On the latter, it specified the location she would meet the drive and his caravan, somewhere around Stokbon, so he could drive her all the way to Lyrwick.

"He... Hello! You are... Ms. Yume, right..? It will be a bit of a long travel... We should get there at late afternoon..." The driver said, opening the door of the caravan for @MayoYume to get in, before hopping on the driver's seat so he could drive all the way to the other town.

Cindershine was a strange town. Far away from the dangers Lyrwick would usually bring, but having its own 'perk' of always being in cloudy weather. Darkened and foggy from the rain, bringing a humid sensation to the air, that distracted any newcomer enough from the distrusting gazes from cloaked individuals, that always did what they could to hide their identities.

Trevor's Estate

After getting to the town, however, it didn't take long for the caravan to find its way to the estate... And as the gates opened, the gigantic size of the building made anyone become awestruck... At least until the caravan halted.

"Here we are..." He announced the obvious, sheepishly, climbing down and opening the door of the caravan for the woman to step down.

After she was by the ground, the driver quickly guided Yume to the door of the building, clearing his throat and knocking it a few times.

It was all beyond what she had imagined - almost fairy tale like in its entirety as the carriage had pulled up before her, a driver leaping from the seat to open the door and guide her inside. She had hesitated momentarily, uncertain as to the proper procedure when it came to accepting a ride in a carriage. The driver hadn't given her much of a chance, though, ushering her in with quick, calm and carefully guiding movements that she couldn't turn away if she tried.

Oh...uhm...thank you. Ā sugoi! Honmono no basha!

Her eyes wandered around the interior of the mobile, taking in everything as best as she could. The seating was luxurious - the quality one would expect from someone with the status of Trevor. Still, it all seemed to take Yume's breath away for the time being - leaving her lost and mesmerised by the intricate designs of the carriage itself as she waited for the ride to end.

End it did, and far sooner than she had expected. The ride slowed to a stop, gentle enough that Yume barely even moved in her seat as they stopped before what could only be described as a true mansion. The place was enormous, standing stark against the grey backdrop in a way that seemed to tower over, and yet not overpower, those who came before it. Unsettling in a way that was both empowering to those who had nothing to fear, and terrifying to those who gazed upon it without a measure of pleasure towards their arrival.

Arigatōgozaimashita. That was a wonderfully comfortable ride, handled by a skilled driver.

She smiled as the driver turned and led her towards the door without acknowledging her commentary - something that she knew was likely commonplace for someone in his position. Hanashikake rareta toki dake, hitsuyōna toki ni dake hanashimasu. Yume understood the man's position, albeit she didn't envy him.

She waited patiently for the door to be answered, wondering whom she would be greeted by - and hoping that it would be Magnolia. It had been a while since she had seen the maid, and Yume was looking forward to seeing her friend once more.

"T-Th-Thanks--" The drive slipped to Yume as he turned away, darting away after the door was knocked, and staying far behind as he waited patiently for it to open.

It would take a while, but eventually, the door would open with an imponent creaking, one that sounded almost too smooth to be caused by the door being worn out. The entrance had a large red tapestry, that spreaded across the main hall and separated in several routes that existed in the estate.

For a moment, it would almost seem like the doors had been open by themselves, but the reality would prove to be different, as soon as a maid figure peeked out from behind one of the massive doors, finally revealing herself fully, only to notice that the guest that had just knocked was no one else but-

"Madam Yume..." Magnolia said, with her eyes very slightly wider than the usual, in an almost fading hint of surprise she had colored in her deadpan face.

The surprise was big enough, that Magnolia finally snapped out of it, taking a firm stance and bowing deeply. "It is a honor to see you again, madam Yume..." She greeted, truthfully before she rose her head again, to face Yume directly.

"Why are you... In here, madam? It is a pleasing surprise to see you, albeit I must ask this, how may I help you?"
Magnolia asked.

It felt strange, but it seemed like Magnolia was entirely unaware of Yume's visit.

Her smile exploded as she saw Magnolia's face appear around the door, wiping away the confusion she had felt at first when the entryway had originally opened. The smile seemed to falter slightly, however, as Magnolia began questioning her presence, as if she wasn't aware that Yume had been summoned to the estate.

Why am I...? I received an invitation. I assumed it had come from you, Īe?

She was slow to pull the invitation letter from her dress, before presenting it for the maid to see - the letter itself neatly folded so that it could be returned to the envelope that it had originally sat within. Yume waited patiently for Magnolia to glance over the letter, before continuing with her explanation.

I had assumed that you were the one requesting my presence, however...it seems that I may have been Erā de to have such an assumption.

She was more confused now, curious as to why she had been summoned, if not by Magnolia's hand. She was aware enough to realise that it was likely Trevor, whom had handled or completed the summoning - but as to what purpose the man may desire, Yume had no inkling of an idea.

Erm...it is good to see you, regardless of the reason, though. I've missed you.

She gave a soft smile before holding up her left hand, a 'v'-shape in her first two fingers as tried to soften the situation. The last thing she wanted, was to upset Magnolia in any way - especially if Yume was being summoned for a purpose.

Magnolia rested her eyes on Yume's wide smile for a moment that lingered a bit longer in her mind than it actually had passed. The one thing that made her snap out of it, however, was when it faltered, and Magnolia's gaze went up to lock on Yume's.

"Unfortunately, I have no autonomy to invite anyone for my master's estate, madam." Magnolia said, feeling her heartstrings being pulled, concerned if that reveal had made her sad.

She gently took the letter from her friend, opening it carefully and in no more than a couple of seconds, she responded- "It is my master's handwriting... He hadn't told me he would have guests today." Magnolia's heart sank, even if her expressions remained unchanged for the whole ordeal. If she hadn't been warned, it could only mean it was a matter for another maid to attend.

Yume's words, on top of the smile from a minute ago, made Magnolia look back at her once again, feeling a warmth that was almost foreign by now.

When it was the last time someone looked so happy for seeing her, and told her they had missed her?

"I've missed you immensely as well, madam Yume... I..." Magnolia said, holding a breath and taking a couple steps back, a bit wordless before gesturing for her to enter the estate. "Please, come in... I may call my master to meet you."

Something about Magnolia's tone towards the end had seemed different, compared to her normal behaviour. An almost hesitation, as if she were unsure in what she was saying. Yume caught it almost immediately, noticing the difference and choosing to ignore it - perhaps it was like herself, that shell that was always placed in formal settings, breaking for just a single second.

Arigatō, Magnolia-san. I look forward to seeing what purpose your master has summoned me for.

Her words were formal, as she'd been taught - but the smile radiated her joy at seeing Magnolia, almost childlike in its freedom. Sure, her father would've been displeased with the display - but Yume was happy, and there was no point in hiding that here.

She stepped in and to the side, allowing Magnolia to close the doors with ease, before waiting patiently for the maid to attend to the summoning - and whatever other conversations may have been required, in private. From the looks of it, Magnolia was as surprised as Yume was regarding her presence in the estate; a sign that the maid hadn't been informed, in truth, about her expectations.

Kanojo kara no tokubetsuna dōsatsu wa nai to omoimasu... She giggled to herself at the thought, knowing full well that she hadn't expected any to begin with - not that it wouldn't have been interesting to try, at least. Instead, she would have to walk into the meeting blind, and hope for the best on its outcome. Soshite, kanojo to issho ni jikan o sugosu yō ni kare o settoku dekiru kamo shiremasen!

Magnolia bowed briefly at Yume's words, moving quickly and yet elegantly away, sharply taking her path to her master. A happiness was bubbling in her chest, at the same rate there was a hint of sadness lingering in the back of her mind, creating a bittersweet feeling in her heart. Yume was there, and yet, it seemed like it was't something that she would be part on. Her master had always told her beforehand to prepare to welcome guests, after all...

Upon meeting him, Magnolia was gave him a brief explanation, albeit not questioning him why he hadn't told her. The man stood immediately, making his way to the great hall where Yume was in, while the maid escorted him diligently.

"Ms. Yume, good afternoon. I hope your travel has been smooth... If not, tell me and I shall give our driver a lesson."

Somewhere near the caravans outside, a man shuddered, looking around in a paranoid behavior.

"Sorry for calling you in such a short notice. But I needed your assistance on something... That perhaps is part of your specialty. At least from what I could've seen when you were helping us with escorting the caravan to Astorea."

She had bowed deeply when Trevor had first arrived, giving a small greeting in response before listening to what the man had to say. At first, she smiled politely, waiting for the punchline to some sort of joke, before realising that he was being entirely honest with his commentary.

Sumimasen? You...require my...something that's my specialty?

She blinked a few times as she tried to understand what the man was saying. As far as Yume was aware, she had no specialty - at least, nothing immediately came to mind. Briefly unsure of what she was getting herself in to, she decided to move forwards carefully.

I am certainly...interested in what you may believe that I am capable of helping you with...I would be honoured to assist you, if I am to do so.

Her words were rigid, spoken in such a way that any who were used to such formality would recognise the hesitation in her agreeance, the way in which her chosen phrases were stated in a such a way that they couldn't bind her to anything - at least, that was the intention.

I must say, I was surprised to receive your invitation...Totemo odoroita. I had not expected such a request, I will admit.

In fact, she had thought that perhaps this was Magnolia's way of requesting her presence for...well, she wasn't entirely sure what for - but never had she imagined she'd be helping someone of such stature in this world. Kare wa kokode wa hijō ni kyōryokuna jinbutsudeari, watashi wa tsuneni sono koto o oboete oku hitsuyō ga arimasu.

Magnolia watched the scene unfolding before her, remaining calm and with her thoughts collected, not mustering any words or opinions, simply waiting to see whatever would come out of all that. Her master was usually whimsical, unpredictable and always having things in his mind that Magnolia could barely fathom.

"In fact, madam Yume. If you allow me to speak, you did show great magical potential in the times we fought together." Magnolia pointed out.

"You indeed have, and it is the reason I've invited you in..."

DRl5L2f.png
Without waiting any longer, the man pulled an orb out of his cloak, revealing to be some sort of magic catalyst or foci, with what it seemed to be a starry universe hiding inside of it, sparkly and with an eerie cosmic cloud swaying inside of it, reacting to movement just as one would expect it to do.

"This intriguing artifact was found by one of my... Subordinates, as you could say." He cleared his throat. "And while I can feel the latent magical power it has sealed within it, I can't seem to find the right way to properly... Unleash it."

A faint smirk then crossed his lips, seeing the confusion on Yume's face when he had mentioned her to have a specialty, one that she seemed to be unaware of.

"After all, the magic I'm usually fond to isn't related to the stars and the cosmos, thus such artifact isn't my specialty." His head tilted, and he carefully offered the orb. "But I figured... Maybe a lady that has a bit of affinity with the stars may align things for me."

Her confusion had only grown as Magnolia mentioned her prowess in combat - Trevor adding his own praise of her skills before Yume could place any argument. Her face flushing slightly, she had simply bowed slightly in deference of their opinions. She had never expected to become a fighter, by any means - much less a soldier. Yet she had found herself defending her friends and her own life, before making her induction into the Lions official. Tashika ni, jinsei wa shinpi-tekidesu.

Before her mind could truly process the entire situation, Yume's attention was pulled away from the praise by the continuation of the conversation - towards what appeared to be a singular, orb-like crystal which swirled with...

Ō! That is...so beautiful...like the stars are all dancing again...

Her eyes were drawn to the piece, barely noticing as she accepted it from Trevor's outstretched grasp. She held it gingerly, carefully turning it over and over and watching as the stars within began to swirl and dance in response to her touch.

Giggling slightly, she felt herself beginning to sing as she felt a slight warmth pass through her fingers and into the crystal itself.

Totemo kireidesu. Odore, odore, watashi no chīsana hoshi yo.

In tune with her words, and the way in which she shifted the ball ever so slightly, Yume could see the glittering within the ball beginning to move - as if dancing to the sing-song of her voice, and the way in which she seemed to flow herself into the very essence of it.

This is...gorgeous, Trevor-san. Where did you find such a thing? It has...a feeling to it!

She wasn't entirely sure how to describe it, but somehow the piece felt welcoming to her - as if it was a part of her that she had been longing for, but never found.

Magnolia couldn't help but feel a warmth seeing Yume filled with joy. The genuine happiness for seeing something pretty was endearing, and the maid watched her going through it with a relaxed stance, almost as if dropping her guard while looking at her.

Trevor casted a glance at Magnolia, before then looking at Yume.

"I am glad you like it. And that you seem to already have an affinity to it."

He nodded, satisfied, to say the least.

"I've acquired it from a certain individual... One that we must not be concerned about, that's for sure." He said, strumming his fingers on his chin. "And what
I want from you, Ms. Yume... Is for you to unleash its full potential for me."

A smirk crossed his lips.

"Someone with affinity with the stars... They may have more success on it... Especially because it seems that the answer for unleashing its full potential lays on the cosmos, as it was the hint we had received."

He adjusted his cloak.

"As you know, however... It is a bit too early for us to have a clear sight of the starry sky. So in the meantime, you may rest, take a visit at our library, maybe... Should there be some information that will help you. And prepare yourself to dinner, and stay the night... Or well, as long as you wish to stay, that is." He explained, then glancing at Magnolia. "And for that, I will have a maid to keep you company during your stay."

Magnolia looked at Trevor for a moment, nodding quietly, bowing her head and muttering- "Yes, master... I shall call a maid to accompany the madam." She said, thankfully not needing to bother about not sounding dejected.

But as soon as she was about to step away, Trevor interrupted.

"What do you mean, Magnolia? I meant you." He said, firmly. "You will accompany Ms. Yume for as long as she stays in our estate. Show her around, show her room, and above all, make her feel at home and serve her as she needs."

Magnolia's eyes widened slightly, and she turned to Trevor. "Master... Are you sure? You never..."

"I know what I never do, alright? But you are my best maid, and Ms. Yume is a special guest." He said, peering over to the blonde. "Besides... I'm sure she would be more comfortable with you. As it seems, she had taken a liking to you." Trevor squinted with a grin. "So take a hint, will you?" He said. "Ms. Yume, she is all yours. I will reward you handsomely for your services as well." Trevor added, before turning away and leaving, unless Yume had anything else to say.

A faint flush crossed Magnolia's cheeks, even if her expressions remained the same. She remained paused for a couple seconds, but eventually, she turned, looking at Yume.

She barely turned away from the orb as Trevor mentioned helping, staying the night - and a number of other things that barely registered to her ears. What finally broke her concentration, was the reaction of Magnolia to the conversation the two were having without Yume's entire awareness. Her attention returned to the two just as Magnolia was being informed of her role for the evening, something that seemed to peak Yume's interest suddenly.

Oh...so, Magnolia is going to help me? Nante sutekina no!

She turned to the maid with a soft smile on her face, a slight glimmer in her eyes that seemed to dance like the cosmos within the orb still appeared to do in her hands. There was a simple joy in her expression, as if there was nothing more that Yume was looking forward to for the day.

Uhm...would you happen to have a...Toshokan? Somewhere with books about Astramancy, perhaps? I'm...I could need to look into a few...it's very pretty...

Her attention had turned back to the orb as she spoke, almost consumed by it. The thing seemed to pull at her in a way, as if asking her to unlock its secrets. She knew that she wanted to do just that - to figure out what about it was so appealing - but that it was currently beyond her grasp.

Totemo kirei...uhm, but yes...Toshokan...some research may help to understand it better.

"It seems like it, madam Yume." Magnolia said, glancing at Trevor turning a corner and disappearing from her sight, making her lips purse and twitch in a smile that unfortunately couldn't come out. Her gaze went up to Yume, and she bowed.

"As you wish, madam. Please, follow me." She gestured, before turning to take gentle steps, not rushing, as to keep a comfortable pace for Yume to catch up and then follow.

The corridors were long and wide, with several doors and turns that almost made it feel like a labyrinth, filled with other servants that greeted Yume politely. In hindsight, it felt like the interior was way too big compared to the exterior. If that was magic or an optical illusion, it was hard to know.

With enough time, the women reached for a wide door, one that Magnolia pushed open and gave room for Yume to enter.

It wasn't as big as a public library, but its size was certainly decent. The topics of the books were of great variety... From domestic to magic, yet, it didn't seem there was a librarian, aside for maybe the giant owl statue, that watched the duo intently and didn't hide the fact it... Kinda was moving.

"Madam. This is our library. You may take as many books as you wish, and you may even bring it with you. However, I may add that you shall not take it outside of the estate's territory, even if by accident." Magnolia pointed out. "The consequences can be disastrous."

The winding corridors were expansive, far more so than Yume would have expected from the size of the mansion's exterior. Somehow, the interior felt larger than it appeared from without, leaving Yume to assume that it was structured in such a way as to hide just how large it was. A curious piece of design, to say the least.

Magnolia led her expertly through the maze that was the halls without any hesitation or sign of confusion. Yume had quickly lost her bearings during the walk, distracted continuously by other members of the staff who had pulled her attention in greeting - forcing her to respond in kind even as she continued past in order to keep up with Magnolia.

When they had reached the library, Yume found herself staring in awe at the collection. It was large, far larger than anything she had seen within a home before. While not endless, it was clear that Trevor had amassed a varying plethora of works - everything that one could possibly need in order to find and sate their curiosity.

Do not...take it outside. Yes. Wakarimashita.

Her eyes had never left the shelves that hovered in front of them, passing over the nearest she could see with a look that seemed to scan their titles, as if looking for something in particular. Without turning to look at Magnolia, she called out softly, her voice sounding distracted.

Does Trevor-san...have any sections particular to Astramancy? I need to research...a few things...if he has anything. Things that...Honshitsu-teki ni wakaranai...

Magnolia nodded as Yume repeated her words, waiting patiently and from a certain distance, as to give the girl some space to search for the books she needed, while she traced her eyes around, seeing the other rows of books until the gentle voice of the blonde called for a question.

The maid pondered for a moment, finally speaking out- "Follow me, madam." Magnolia said.

She wasn't one to meddle with the affairs of others, but the truth was that the maid already knew where the books were. In fact, she knew where every single book in that library was. Being a book worm, Magnolia had the pleasure to at least have this small place to stay whenever her master didn't require her, and she had devoured a good portion of the books in there, and skimmed almost all, and saw every cover.

Entering in a row, slowly she approached a shelf that was exclusively filled with Astronomy, Astrology, and eventually Astranamancy topics. Ranging from both mundane to magical topics, and even leaning into Divination books on the bottom shelves.

Magnolia traced her finger on each of the books, until she halted in a particular one.

"This book is my favorite of this shelf." She said, looking at Yume, and turning to face her while holding it with both hands. It was a thick one, of plain marine blue cover and not a single decoration on it. Upon opening, it would prove to be more of a journal, or some personal study book than anything else... But it also had drawings, flowcharts, and illustrations that seemed to be done by the hands not of a professional, but of the one person that had been working directly on these studies.

The drawings were far from being ill made, but they weren't of perfect accuracy. Thankfully, however, it had a description that almost looked poetic when read, but it held great academic value regardless.

"It was written by a powerful Astramancer, according to my master." She said, handing it to Yume, tilting her head faintly.

"It has information that is both subjective and objective, and the insights of someone that has practical touch in it. Naturally, it isn't your everyday book... But rather something unique, madam Yume." Magnolia said, looking at Yume, and waiting for her opinion regarding it.

The library was overwhelming in many ways, and Yume found herself quickly lost amongst the available pieces. Were it not for Magnolia, whom had moved directly towards an area that Yume had yet to make her way towards, she figured it would have taken her days to find what she was looking for.

Yume looked over the proffered piece, her eyes scanning the pages and noticing the symbolism and verbiage - although some of it was lost on her. She had no doubts that Magnolia was right in that this individual was clearly a master of the arts, something far beyond what Yume herself would be able to achieve in her few hours - or perhaps days? - here, as it were.

This is an excellent start...Arigatō, Magnolia-san. This helps, a lot.

She settled herself down with the book, glancing over the first few pages in silence, before realising that Magnolia was still standing nearby. Awkwardly, she looked up at the maid, before realising that there was still a purpose to her presence.

Would you...like to help? With the research, I mean?

She wasn't entirely sure what she was even looking for, and a few seconds of silence passed as Yume considered how the maid could assist.

Erm...I'm looking for anything that...could explain how to transfer consciousness, or power? Something that would...Soreto hitotsu ni naremasu yō ni, so to speak...

She wasn't entirely sure if that would narrow down their search at all, but it was the best starting point that Yume had for the time being - which meant it was all she had to offer, until they came across something that would change their direction.

Magnolia, for most of part, remained still while watching Yume intently, unsure of where or what she planned to go or do next. She didn't impose anything, most likely willing to go and read some other book while Yume researched what was truly important for her.

However, Yume soon invited her to join, and her head tilted slightly as she pondered about how she could even start to help Yume with it, until she herself gave an opinion, a small suggestion that made Magnolia stop and think deeply. "... Transfer consciousness... Power..." Magnolia muttered, with her mind tinkering for a moment, as gears grinded and rolled in her brain.

"A moment, madam." Magnolia said, scooting away, nearing one of the rows and having her eyes trailing for each option she could find, snatching a book after another, before having a generous pile of four books, soon returning to Yume, regardless if she was at the same spot or if she had taken a seat somewhere.

"Here, madam... I figured books that has as topics: Item Enchantment, Meditation, Mind Reading and Mind Warding were the most appropriate." She suggested, gently placing the books on a spot where she could rest them, or just continuing to hold them firmly on her arms, if nowhere else was available.

Magnolia disappeared, and then reappeared, without Yume even truly noticing. She was engrossed in the book that the maid had already provided her with - detailing the alignment of the stars within the sky, and how it could impact ones own attunement with the Astramancy powers within her. Her eyes roamed over detailed descriptions - some she understood, others were lost to her mind - taking it all in slowly.

When the maid had returned with more books, and a soft explanation as to their purpose, Yume found herself replying without thought. Her voice carried a distracted tone, an obvious sign that she was fully engrossed in what she was doing.

Arigatō, Magnolia-san...would you mind earmarking anything that looks important? Watashi wa anata ga sore o okonau koto ga dekiru to shinjite imasu.

She didn't pay much attention to the maid's next actions, digging further into the book with an almost overzealous enthusiasm. She'd yet to find any written works regarding magic in this world, and now that she had the chance before her, she found herself devouring it before the piece could be taken away from her.

She wasn't sure how much time had passed - she barely remembered taking another book off the pile, mumbling a few words towards Magnolia, and possibly accepting some sort of nutrition that was shoved towards her - but when she did look up, she had a glimmer of a smile on her face.

Hai! I think I've found something...perhaps a way to call forth whatever power may lay within the orb. Mada owatte imasen, but it should work - I think. Maybe...

Her assurance was slowly disappearing as she said her thoughts aloud. She had no way of knowing for sure if her attempt would fail or not, but she thought that there was a chance, and that meant she had to try.

Erm...is there a...Tenmondai anywhere around here? I would need a full view of the sky, but preferably somewhere indoors...

Magnolia watched Yume's diligence with a hint of admiration brimming in her eyes, even if her expressions remained as unmoving as ever. There was a brief nod, and her gaze fell to the books she had on her hands, opening them and half-opening her mouth-

"Very well, madam... According to this paragraph, one's mind may connect..."

And so the maid went on, citing the important spots of each book, giving insights about how to align the mind of someone to something that had any spell or spirit in it. Everything was rather abstract, concepts hard to grasp only by listening... So perhaps the girl would only truly succeed to understand it upon putting it into practice, a task that would also prove to be harsh, unless she already had a good path to follow...

... And so it seemed.

"Hmm?" Magnolia looked up at Yume, interrupting her outloud reading to consider what she had said.

"A tower, madam... we do not have such a thing. But we do have an observatory room..." Magnolia said, gesturing for her friend to follow, yet not putting away any of the book, bringing them with her just in case it would be of assistance for what they had to do.

After a long walk, and several stairs, Magnolia and Yume reached the observatory, a room filled with bookshelves, albeit they were more journals and studies than academic books. The room was decorated with hanging representations of planets, stars, and other celestial bodies that could be seen from there, along with apparatuses that helped to work on searching for such things.

And the main tool, a giant telescope, one that rested by a platform that could be reached through a spiral stair... on an opening that wasn't that wide, but it was enough for such a tool to peek out of the building and aim through it.

Magnolia took a moment to appreciate it, before turning to look at Yume.

"This is the second highest spot I can offer to you..." Magnolia said. "... More open and higher than that, only if you wish to try to attempt it on the roof." She explained, and it did sound like an option, from the tone of her voice.

Yume shook her head as she looked around the room. It would work for what she wanted, now they just needed the perfect moment. What she had divulged from the book led her to believe that there would be a passing of the stars, something that would allow her to connect with the astral projection within the piece that Trevor had handed to her. Sukunakutomo... Sore ga kinō suru hazudesu... Negatte imasu
.

Yoshi...now we just have to...wait a bit...

She glanced around the observatory, taking in the many books that lined...well, everything. It was welcoming, in a way. Reminding her of the library they had just visited. It seemed that Trevor had an affinity for reading. Karera ga iu yō ni, chishiki wa chikaradesu.

So...Mangolia-san, how is that you came to meet Trevor-san? Anata wa kare ni dorei no shakkin o otte imasu ka?

She had spoken without thought or consideration, finding herself rather comfortable in the quiet of the room. Almost immediately she had regretted her words, wincing visibly as she turned to look at the other. She hadn't meant to cause any offence, and opened her mouth to provide an apology, before considering if the other would take it offensively at all. Kanojo no kangaekata ga chigau node wanaideshou ka?
