Personality
Dainsleif, Dain, Léon is not a particularly complicated guy. He is a sociable and good-natured idealist who chases after unreachable goals. Whether it is ending world hunger or achieving world peace, Léon is always looking for some purpose beyond himself, which is the sole reason why he's playing Terrasphere in the first place.
Whether it is in the real world or in-game, Léon strives to do good and inspire others to do the same, which can come off preachy at times. While his optimistic and humanist traits make Léon who he is, his willingness to view the better in others also means that he is easily taken advantage of.
Considering his past, Léon has developed a severe saviour complex and finds himself trying to save anyone he considers in trouble, whether or not they want it. Moreover, the blonde also finds it nearly impossible to say "no" to others.
Positive: Optimistic, Forgiving, Sociable, Kind, Aspiring
Negative: Idealistic, Preachy, Influenceable, Searching, Inflexible
Background
Léon was adopted as a baby by the leader of the biggest Tech Church based in Vancouver. He grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth and was afforded an upper-class lifestyle that children his age could only dream of. The only catch was that he needed to spend every minute of his childhood and teenage years under the Church's dogma and undergo rigorous training to succeed his adoptive parents as the leader of the religious organization.
When Léon turned 20, law enforcement shut down the Church and arrested almost all of its members. Although his parents got away, he wasn't as lucky. After intense interrogations, law enforcement deconstructed his entire life, helping him see that it was all a lie and that he was indoctrinated by a cult, shattering the youth's very being in the process and his core conception and belief about his entire life and everyone he knew.
When the Federal Court deemed that Léon was a victim, they sent him to Boston to receive help from a cult-deprogramming expert, who helped him see all the subtle ways he was lied to and manipulated. The guillotine that was reality came down on Léon, who was taught to aspire to make the world a better place and help the people living in it.
With his entire world shattered, Léon considered ending it all. However, the person who was responsible for helping him suggested that he try playing an ultra-realistic world that could, in fact, replaces the real thing. And that, if he had lost everything in the real world, then perhaps he could find a greater purpose in that world. Although Léon initially resisted, not knowing how a game could cure him, the social worker was unusually persuasive...
And so, Léon entered the death game known as Terrasphere.
