Making his way towards a distant corner of Endra's Square, Eve wondered if he could find what he was looking for here. He'd heard that Stokbon was the largest city in all of Falderen, maybe even in the entire continent. It was the center of trade and commerce, or so he'd been told. The hustle and bustle in the marketplace around him certainly seemed to support that reputation, but what Eve was looking for was something slightly more specialized than general goods or produce.

This store he'd been told about seemed promising. Peering through the storefront window, he could see little magitech trinkets, glowing bright cyan to his eyes as they continued operating. He could only look for so long before his eyes started to ache with the intensity of the magical glow, however.

Great. Just wonderful. He covered his eyes briefly before sighing and deciding to just throw caution to the wind. Better to get this over with all at once. Time to see if the proprietor of this magitech store might be able to make him something to diminish the intensity of the headache he'd caused himself at character creation, having picked a trait that would practically blind him every time he tried casting magic of his own.

Solaria was looking at some of the buildings for sale out of curiosity. She was thinking of running an apothecary! A local was showing her around Stokbon at various locations, including Endra's Square. But then, she saw a man that caught her attention somehow. He was covering his eyes while looking at some magitech. Curiosity for his health got the best of her. Swiftly, the elf ran to the taller man, tugging on his sleeve. "Sir, are you alright? Where do you hurt? I have some medicine... Maybe some of it would help?"

Smiling softly, Solaria began browsing her inventory. "I think this one medicine might help headaches. That's what's bothering you, right? Your head? You're covering your eyes, so I suspect you're light sensitive... Ah, am I speaking too loud? Sound sensitivity often comes with light..."

She frowned, realizing there were too many factors about his health she did not know. Plus, she was being nosy. "Sorry, am I prying too much? I'm a future nurse, so when I see someone struggling with pain I just... Lose it..."

Rakka gasped in awe at the sight of Endra's Square, the statue in the center of the square being massive and impressive. Her ears flapped in a soft bounce as she breaks into a grin, excited to be in a city once again and she eagerly started browsing through the stalls and shops. Yaxhin had wandered off to find Josephine's Bestiary, so she had plenty of time to explore the city by herself... her ears dropped and flatten against the back of her head, suddenly aware of how vulnerable that makes her. Dammit, she forgot to ask that weirdo paladin if cities and towns were non-player killing zones! He mentioned this world being pretty lawless, she better remain on high alert.

Her resolve to be alert and pay attention to her surroundings are flung right out the window as she caught sight of shiny metal reflecting in the sunlight through a storefront window, revealing themselves to be brilliant magitech trinkets. She gasped loudly and quickly bounds over to get a closer look, hammer clanking against her armor as she rushes over, oblivious to the two people already standing outside the shop. Her face is practically pressed up against the glass and her ears won't stop twitching in excitement, although she keeps her hands firmly clasped behind her back instead of pressed up against the glass.

"Ohmigosh they're so pretty!" she gushes, admiring the trinkets with the biggest grin.

Tetsunosuke found himself wandering around the Endra's Square one day. To some, he looked just like a stray child just out from school, judging by his short stature and the backpack on him that resembled a typical grade school backpack. For Travelers this was even exemplified by the fact that he was wearing the typical boy scout uniform, only that it was of a red color. But Tetsunosuke could not care less; it was actually the intention. If he was underestimated by other people, then all the more better for him. Because it was the time to scour out this place for more things that were done using magitech: beneath the backpack was actually his own jetpack that he can use to move quickly around the area, only that he did not choose to use it this time. Maybe he would find some insights in this area that will enable him to improve upon his creations.

He then finally stumbled upon this shop that sells magitech trinkets of various kinds. Some of them were just glistening, while others, when focused upon, had the intensity of even the brightest flash lights of his world. No wonder another person who had gazed upon it had his eyes hurt after staring at one for a while.

Looks like this was the place for magical flashlights, and sure he wanted some for his vehicles.

As he then heard someone, an armored beastwoman, exclaiming about the prettiness of these trinkets, Tetsunosuke then remarked. "That is magitech for you, one can really build anything that their heart focused on."

While Eve was preoccupied by his lack-of-vision problem, it appeared that some others had come up. He smiled, slightly strained, at the elven woman who had come up to him asking after his health. "Ah, no," said Eve to @Solaria, "I'm sorry to worry you. It's no big deal, really. Hopefully something that the proprietor of that store over there can fix," he said, indicating the magitech shop. "Thank you for your concern, however."

Standing by the shop window were another two people, both also interested in the same shop he was about to enter. He did have to smile at @Rakka Deltorra's enthusiasm; despite his... prior dealings with what this world had called magitech, it certainly was impressive. Were it not actively detrimental for his eyesight to be looking at all these magically-powered devices, he might also be right up there beside her staring in wonder at all the trinkets on display.

"I sure hope so," he added on to @Tetsunosuke's remark. "Forgive me for presuming, but you seem quite knowledgeable about magitech. Do you have experience yourself with this all? I'm looking to have something made, and I wonder if it would be possible to be done with magitech or not."

"Are you sure? You just looked to be in pain, so..." Solaria trailed off, shaking her head and smiling. "Sorry, I don't mean to nag. I'm just a bit of a health nut." Okay, maybe that was putting it mildly. Kelly took health so seriously she even worried about nutrition in the game. Sure, she ate some bad food once in a while- but for the most part, she ate pretty healthily. And to be fair, she was trying to become a nurse, as she'd told the fellow. Even in the game, she kind of thought that was her calling. That or being a knight in shining armor. Honestly, she wasn't sure which of these ideas she preferred.

Holding out her hand, she introduced herself. "My name is Solaria. It's a pleasure to meet you. If you ever need healing or potions, please come find me and I'll be glad to help. I hope the store's proprietor is more helpful than I am, though. The thing I love more than helping people is seeing people not in need of my help, after all."

Giggling softly, she began to scan the nearby buildings. There was one near the magitech store that was a decent price and caught her eye. "Say, sir, can I ask for your help instead? Where do you think the best place to open an apothecary would be?"

Rakka blinked and took her eyes off the glistening trinkets, looking around to spot who was talking and found herself glancing down at @Tetsunosuke. She started to respond, but then spotted @Eve Lightscar and @Solaria conversing close by the shop as well. She glanced between all three of them and quickly stepped back from the shop window, giving them space to approach and admire the display as well. The tall beastfolk bows, mostly toward the blond one in the red outfit since they're closest to her. "I'm so sorry, I was completely blocking the way... should've told me to move sooner. Actually scratch that, I need to be more aware of my surroundings."

She shuffled her feet awkwardly as she glanced around, trying to figure out what she should do next. She'd really like to enter the shop, but now she needed to wait for these folks to enter or go about their business elsewhere. Rakka bite the inside of her lip, ducking her head in apology once again. "Sorry for getting in the way of your party... I - I've got some interest in magitech myself, but I'm afraid I'm useless in terms of getting something made." Her eyes widened and she ducked her head again in apology again, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to eavesdrop! Please forgive my rudeness!"

As Tetsunosuke was thinking about what kind of lighting would he need in his creations, and if the trinkets in this shop could fit in some way, he was then asked by that person who got his eyes sorely blinded by the lighting in this shop (@Eve Lightscar), if he could do something about his condition. Thinking about it slightly, he then said, "It should depend on the situation, but I do have a good amount of experience and tools to make anything simple back in our world. If this is something about this world, maybe I can attempt to invent something, but before I can make a true solution, I might do something first to mitigate whatever condition you have. I could only work with materials that could be readily made in this world though, except for metal, which I am proud to say, I think I am the best man for making and working metal in this whole city."

Tetsunosuke then heard the beastwoman (@Rakka Deltorra) profusely apologizing for blocking the way and telling how bad she was at doing something, he then said, "You have the interest, but if you think nothing can be done, nothing will be done. Don't be afraid to try to explore out of your horizons! Don't be afraid of failure, failure is just a stepping stone to success when you try to learn from it, pick up the pieces, and start again."

Digesting what @Tetsunosuke said, Eve was about to respond when @Rakka Deltorra suddenly spoke up. When she mentioned moving out of the way, Eve took another look around and realized that this little gathering was blocking up the front of the store a little, which passersby and the owner of the shop itself probably would not appreciate.

"Please, you don't have to apologize for eavesdropping," Eve said to the rabbit-eared young woman. "It wasn't as though it was a private talk anyway. No harm done, and I do have to confess to an interest in magitech myself. It seems as though you'd be in good company here." She seemed very contrite, and Eve pulled what was hopefully an easy-going smile on his face, hoping to calm her.

He looked towards the short faerin man who had addressed him, and then said, "I see, that's all very interesting. I'd love to continue this conversation, if you wouldn't mind. My name is Eve, by the way, I just realized I hadn't introduced myself. Though we should probably move first; I was thinking of going inside, if that's all right with you?"

But there was also the woman who had come up to him. @Solaria had asked about opening an apothecary, but that was unfortunately an area where Eve had no expertise. "I'm sorry, but I'm not very familiar with this city. I've only just arrived myself, and I've been looking for this store in particular so I haven't had the chance to look around."

"Ah, but, if you were considering something about medicine, I'd heard that this shop also has some magitechs that could be used to help apply medicines and other kinds of treatment." That was, after all, one of the reasons he'd sought it out in the first place. Though the store was a general hub for all things magitech, he'd heard particularly good things about its applications for some treatments, among some other niches. "Perhaps that'd be of interest to you? I'd been intending to enter, and it seems these two were as well?"

"There's no reason to apologize!" Solaria chirped with a sing-song voice. "If anything, you just gave me some useful information. That magitech can be used to help with healing is a wonderful thing to learn. I'll have to take a look inside to see what they have. If they have things for applying treatments, they probably have things to make alchemy a bit easier, too."

Walking to the door, Solaria opened it and waited for the people around her to go in first. She turned to @Eve Lightscar first with a big grin. Then, to @Tetsunosuke and @Rakka Deltorra. "Well? Anyone that's coming in should come in! Just sitting out here talking is fun, but the real fun is seeing what we might be looking for in the shop, isn't it?"

She'd wait for as long as possible, holding the door still as wide as it could open. To Solaria, this was a group excursion now, not just a quick 'browse the store yourself' situation. At the very least, she planned to ask Eve a lot of questions, since she knew nothing of magitech, and to her, he seemed knowledgeable. She'd probably ask the others as well. And so, she waited to be the last inside. Butterflies bubbled in her stomach as the excitement grew stronger. I hope I find some helpful gadgets!

Rakka's long ears wilted at @Tetsunosuke's admonishment, "O-oh... but I can't afford a mistake here, I've heard how costly they can be. And I'm not too sure where to even start really. Um, I'll keep that in mind though, thank you sir." She bobbed her head in a bow.

She looked up as the other gentleman addressed her, @Eve Lightscar's smile coxing out a smile in return as her posture relaxed some as the man intended it. The way her eyes flicked around to assess her surroundings belied that some nerve still remains though, alas. She bobbed her head to him as well in thanks, "Ah, I misread the situation then, my mistake. Thank you.. I - I might join if you're certain it's no trouble, I don't want to be in your way."

She bite her lip, deciding it would be rude to introduce herself while Eve was in the middle of talking with the other gentleman. Perhaps later... but with her luck she's missed the proper moment to entirely.

The rabbitfolk blinked at @Solaria's invitation as she checked the reaction from the rest of the group. Were they really all okay with her just... tagging along? That sort of thing only happened in manga or fiction, right? Her ears cautiously lifted up and she took a step toward the door, "If you're all certain I'm good to tag along... let me know when I'm in the way though, okay?"

Tetsunosuke, hearing about some kind of restorative magitech in this shop from the man who introduced himself as @Eve Lightscar, became really interested and could not conceal his surprise. As of then, he was using his magitech capabilities to construct a lot of devices like the magical flashlights he had seen in this shop, but by then he had still not grasped magitech's usage in healing. It was only described in the tutorial, but he had not done anything in that aspect as of now. The only related experiment he did that was related to healing was that he had successfully resuscitated a dead frog using an intense wave of pure magic from a magic generator, but he thought had only applied the purpose of a defibrillator in that case. Maybe he would learn from this demonstration by the shopkeeper, who seemed to be skilled in this aspect as well.

"If what you have said is true, then maybe we could learn from the shopkeepers a bit. Maybe we should talk to the them first to see if they had something to treat your condition. The name's Tetsunosuke, by the way."

As the elf (@Solaria) beckoned him and the beastwoman (@Rakka Deltorra) inside the shop, he instantly went inside, keen on seeing what other things the shop got besides the magical flashlights. And when he got inside, he saw a lot of other kinds of trinkets on display. But it was evident to Tetsunosuke from these trinkets that this place was actually a general supply shop. All of the trinkets in display here was all meant to make daily tasks a lot more easier using magitech. Although the designs seemed to be a lot more ornate than what Tetsunosuke usually does his gadgets, these would still do a decent job. Or at least he thought so.

"By the looks of things, maybe you might find the answer to your predicament here." Tetsunosuke could not help to be saddened because he would lose a prospective customer, but he firmly believed in the thought that the best product is the one that is already readily available, and so with that he made peace in this situation.
