Personality
Toshiko is a quiet and passive person in real life. She's slightly timid while interacting with another people, causing her to be slightly awkward in conversation. though despite being socially inept, she's a hardworker who will get her job done efficiently without much trouble. With such behaviour, someone who's outside of her circle of friend might treat her as a silent type who's only good at doing what she had been told to.
But once she's inside her comfort zone, she would become a much more lively with how she behave. Her friend would know her as someone who's cheerful and easygoing person, which make those who interact with her much more relaxed. She display a wider range of emotion when she's with her friend, showing that she values them deeply despite how devoted she is to her work.
Such behaviour are of course reflected much more strongly within the world of Terra. Without being restrained by society, she acted much more bold and enthusiastic while inside Terrasphere, though this do lead to a few accident caused by herself. This combined with her love for gaming ever since she was in middle school, made her quite a socially outgoing person compared to her real life personality. One could say that this is Toshiko true self.
Positive: Cheerful, Fun-loving, Daring, Cooperative
Negative: Boisterous, Timid, Passive, Careless
Background
Toshiko was born into a normal family. Her family didn't struggle financially, leading Toshiko to growing up lacking with any struggle. She had been studious ever since she was a child, leading her to be a model student when she entered her school. But she felt her life had been dull, all she had did in life was fulfilling any expectation that had been placed on her. Other student also felt tense and scared to approach her thanks to her being a unsociable girl accompanied with her status as a model student. It felt like life had simply handed her a script to follow, instead of her choosing it by herself.
So it's not a wonder that she become addicted to video games when she discovered it when she entered middle school. The colourful world filled with many things she wouldn't be able to experience in real life, it's what brought her into gaming. Of course she would still keep up her appearance as a model student in her school, but outside of school, she would be lock herself inside her room, playing various offline or online game. But what Toshiko is truly addicted to are MMORPG type of game. It allowed her to build up her own persona in another world with her own choice. For someone who always followed instruction, this experience were a breath of fresh air into Toshiko life. It's also Toshiko first experience of making friends over games, showing her just how much she had missed out this entire time.
She continues her hobbies even after she finished high school, in which she had started working as a company accountant. Even though she's working, she still find some time to game when she's done with work. She even made her own gaming setup, thanks to the fact that she's now working full time and having the money to do so. One of the equipment she had bought were a VR adapter, which she unfortunately never used thanks to the dwindling market of VR gaming.
But one fateful night, she had received a email from a unknown sender. Contained within the email, are a QR code that would allow her to download a game client named "Terrasphere". Of course Toshiko had heard the name of the game before, it's been a hot topic in the gaming community since four years ago. But it was shut down by the government, and the news had been silent since then. So why would she received a email of the game client out nowhere when it had been taken down since years ago? Any normal person would've reported their finding to the authority, but Toshiko is curious. She was interested in the game back then, but she didn't have the money to afford VR equipment back then. Now, a golden opportunity had been presented for her, she would be an idiot to pass it off. Booting up her VR adapter, Toshika dives in into a whole new world of Terra.
