_____Omega was not all that keen on the idea. She did not see much reason that SHE needed to be social. She served as the tank to her goddess, the shield that did not budge or break. She was not the preacher, not the arm candy, just her punching bag or bullet taker. So when she was for lack of better told to expand on all fields social was one she herself new was direly offset compared to the rest. All of Omega's real life she was the outsider, lost in her books and studies and never NEEDED to be social until her goddess told her it was time to be.

_____It was that reason she was on the outskirts of the range players could travel, the border town had fewer people and made it easy to deal with them as such. Atop this most of them did not much care for manners or lack of social edict so it was another positive to her ideal spot to practice. She still did however pick one of the more popular towns near the Zalra borders to ensure more people of different types could be encountered to practice. So she watched each and every person and began to build a rough profile to set as default.

_____She took note of the mood people had seeing her, tracked the general conversations that took place, how each person acted around others they did not seem to know, and how they did around those they did know. All the while internally screaming that being Social was a curse that was never needed. Adjusting her stance and moving to go speak with the first person that did not seem AS hostile towards her race choice.

"Greeting, Hello..."

_____The tone was completely blank of emotion, it was the downside to her function over form having taken her ability to speak and only regained it due to having another racial trait that translated her Binary speech into words. Eye blinking to take in information as the person seemed to just scoff and walk away from her. Internally screaming it was a waste of time before going up to another person and trying yet again with about the same reply.

"Hatered, Overdirecting most individuals primary reaction to interaction with Self. Unaware how to correct approach. Attempting to further analyze..."

Lorelei had been wondering for a few days now; training and exploring the lands. She had seen a few things, met a few new people, and had a few adventures. She didn't ever know what she would find around the next corner and she was always looking for a new adventure. Of course, there had been breaks here and there. She couldn't very well forget that she was actually a very real person with a very real life outside of this game, but if she were honest with herself, she more enjoyed her time in Terrasphere than she did her time in the real world. To be plain honest, her real life was rather dull compared to what she had found in the game. At least here it wasn't so routine; so boring. Shaking herself from her thoughts, she stopped in her tracks, allowing herself to look around the area she had found herself in. The grassy fields she had been wandering through had started to fade off, leaving a stretch of scattered grass mingled with barren dust and dirt in more than a few places. Beyond the stretch of what looked to be dying grasslands, she could see the shimmering expanse of the area she was intending to visit; Zalra . She was excited for the prospect, if not a bit wary, considering she didn't know exactly what would be in store for her since things had changed for much of this world in her time away from it.

It was said that the land held riches untold, tough, that wasn't what she was after. Sure, if she found anything of value, she would surely take it, if possible, but she was exploring for the sake of honing her skills and she had heard that the crystallized animals in the area were pretty hard to beat. That and she wanted to find out for herself just what sort of benefit or affects the crystals found there might have for her alchemy. That was one thing she hadn't really taken the time to learn about before jumping in. Ah well, the best teacher was experience, after all. Mossy-green hues glanced over the terrain as she began to move along her path once more. From the distance she could see between herself and the almost mirror-like scenery before her, It was honestly beautiful. She could see what appeared to be a town between herself and the sparkling crystal landscape beyond, and it looked like it shouldn't take her very much longer to reach the outskirts. She was glad to see that she wouldn't have to travel much further, just yet. She had heard tales of many who had gone into the glassy depths and not returned. Injury and death were always a possibility in this world, though.

She was looking forward to combing the landscape, maybe seeing some of the creatures she had heard of; hopefully defeating them or at least escaping with her life. It wasn't that she was looking for that rush of 'I'm alive' adrenaline, either. No, she simply wanted to be sure she explored and encountered everything she could in this land. Before she could get back on track for her exploration, however, she would need to restock on a few supplies. It was for this purpose that she had intended on finding one of the towns she had heard of being in the area. Who knew, maybe she would find some information on the crystallization as well. She had purposely only skimmed the information on the area in order to be able to do research of her own as she explored, after all. She had reached the border of the town as she shook herself from her thoughts, and she looked around a moment, her mossy-toned hues taking in the sights as she made her way into the town. It was time to see what she would find; who and what she would encounter. It should prove interesting, at least she hoped.

Lorelei's ears twitched, slightly, as she wandered through the town, her steps taking her past various buildings and passers-by. She took note of a few places she might want to visit, before taking her leave as she strolled along. Her pace, at this point, was unhurried, nearly lazy, as she was allowing herself the time to take in every aspect she could commit to memory. So far she had caught only a few wary glances from some of the denizens milling about. Nothing to give her reason to believe she might need to be on high alert, though she wasn't ever fully unaware of her surroundings. She was pulled from her thoughts for a moment as she passed by a few people who seemed to be hurriedly moving away from some where, however. "Greeting, Hello..." Her ears twitched as her head turned towards the sound of the oddly mechanical sounding voice. The greeting, she was sure, had not been meant for her, however she couldn't help her curiosity for what might be the source of such an empty-seeming tone.

Her mossy-green hues took in the light haired person from whom the voice was coming. Her curiosity piqued, she watched as the person tried again to speak to someone, only for them to react adversely and wander off quickly as had the ones before "Well, that's no way to treat someone, really. I wonder what their problem is." She thought to herself, as she watched the rude reaction. Turning her mossy-gaze back to the person who had spoken, she made her way over towards her. It was a bit out of character for her to approach someone first, but something in the way this person was being treated pulled on something within the elfin female, and she couldn't help but want to at least reach out. Stopping just a few feet from the pale-haired stranger, taking note of their covered eye, she lifted her right hand in a small wave. "Hello, there. Could you possibly tell me where I might find an alchemist shop or herbalist in this town?" Her expression remained relaxed, almost friendly as she spoke, hoping the person wouldn't find her to be rude or just annoying, as it was the first thing she'd thought of to strike up some sort of conversation.

_____Omega would turn to face the person who took time to speak back to her. Her one visible eye looking them over before she took in what was said and started to go over the information with a fine tooth comb. What descried a place as an alchemist shop or herbalist, what was counted 'within' town or close enough to be encompassed in the reply. Adjusting her stance as she seemed to inhale before letting it be spoken.

"Reply, Location 'Smoke and mirrors' Classified under 'Herbalist and or botanist'. Location due north east, fastest route by following main road until passing 'silk's den' going down the road until coming across the mirror glass sign of the shop. If you see 'Bottle shock', have passed it Both are Herbalist, 'Bottle shock' has improper pricing for quality and quantity of items.

Location 'Secret Ingredient' classified under 'alchemist shop'. Location due north, fastest route main road, beyond city wall the large tower with what appears a 'war zone' to the west of it. Reality is testing area of some potions made there.

Location 'Arcane Infinity' classified under 'alchemist workshop'. Location Due north west, fastest route following main road until city edge, follow wall until passing guard post then heading south. Large building, prices higher then others but better quality and craft."

Jyn0r0j.jpg

_____Omega would blink a few times as she spoke, hand pointing each time she gave a direction. She was to stiff around other people and overly flustered with her goddess. Sure there was likely a way she could force herself into a middle ground by assuming her goddess was always watching but that would be lying to herself and under the impression her Goddess always had to keep an eye on her like a problem child and she refused to imply that on herself.

_____Omega blicked a few more times if the woman chose to stay nearby after getting the directions. Mind clicking a few times as she tried to think how to keep the conversation going but felt no need for it. She asked directions and had given them, she had not asked for a guide to them, nor was the Magia asked anything else so she simply turned to the next person to try and greet them only to get spit at called 'cursed machine' and left cleaning her outfit and fighting every urge to rip the man apart for spitting on an outfit given by her goddess.

"Displeasure, I still do not see the point of enhancing one's social skills when sole purpose is defending Goddess from physical attacks. Not those of emotional or mental... Unit is not designated for such roles."

Lorelei listened, intently, as the one she had decided to question responded to her inquiry. The tips of her pointed ears twitched, slightly, with each almost odd inflection of the almost robotic-sounding vocals. Her expression remained friendly, a single brow raising in curiosity as she found herself wondering just who or what she had found herself speaking to. She wasn't disappointed, however. The answer she was given was quite specific and to the point, if not a bit lengthy. She didn't mind the lengthy response, however. It's detail would save her some time of just looking around. She also silently wondered if the seeming lack of an eye was the result of an injury or if the character had been made in such a way, though more so than that, she wondered if they might actually be a machine of sorts ...Maybe an android? This person was quite interesting, at the least.

Mossy-hues watched the light-haired one as they blinked. It almost seemed as if they might have been pondering over something. However, they simply turned from Lorelei and resumed their greetings to other passers-by. It seemed, to her, that the other female had simply answered her and moved on about her business. It was rare, as far as Lorelei was concerned, to find anyone who was able to things so simply. Most wanted to converse or had follow up questions of their own. It was refreshing, and she started to do the same, to turn and simply head along her way as she felt would be the best response, rather than imposing herself onto someone who had no reason to want her company or input. "Thank you." She said, as the other turned away from her and she prepared to do the same.

She had made about a half turn and two steps when she heard the other female's voice once more. Lorelei's mossy-green hues shifted to take in the scene of the other female's current conversation. She watched as the man the light-haired woman had greeted spit on her. The look of disgust and hatred on the man's face as well as his actions was more than enough to irk the Elfin woman, but the name that shot from his lips as he turned to make his escape from the situation was just too much. She didn't even register any other words from the other woman. Sure, the other female looked capable of handling herself, and perhaps she didn't need the help, but Lorelei wasn't one to ignore her instincts, when it came to right or wrong.

Eyes narrowed and elongated, pointed-tipped ears twitching in aggravation, the elf turned her frame, the trajectory of her steps pulling her directly into the path of the man who had just so rudely reacted to the woman who had been nothing but helpful to her. Normally mossy-green hues shone bore of a bright emerald as they filled with a determined light. Her left hand rose to press against the man's chest as if to halt his own movements. She didn't think of what the possible consequences might have been, nor did she really care. Her right hand moved just as quickly as her left, fist closing as her arm swung in an outward and curved motion, said fist connecting with the man's left jaw.

"I don't know who or what you think you are, but that was uncalled for and I think you owe that woman an apology." The words left her mouth as quickly as her fist had connected with the man's face, their tone flat, almost icy. Now, Lorelei wasn't a trained hand to hand fighter, really. At least she had no masteries or real skill for such, but she was by no means weak. The blow, she was certain, would have been at least attention grabbing. She didn't really keep her focus on the man, however, at least so far as it would seem to any watching. Instead she turned her attention back to the light-haired female, pulling a small cloth from the bag strung across her shoulder and reaching it out towards the other woman. "There's no call for that sort of treatment from or towards anyone. My name's Lorelei, by the way, and I do hope you're okay." She spoke, waiting to see if the other woman would take the offered cloth and seemingly uninterested in or worried with the man she had just decked.

_____Omega watched the woman she had given directions to start to move away, only to turn back and punch the person that had been rude and demand the apologize. It was enough to make the Magia tip her head only a fraction to the left and blink. It was not her place, nor should it have been the elf's worry to address the matter making it all the more confusing for Omega as she watched to see how the man might act.

"THE HELL woman! 'Uncalled for'?! Clearly you had not gotten the memo all Magia are cursed machines that nearly wiped out or did wipe out towns not that long ago and still running amok! Just because this one is acting like that ain't mean anything!"

Jyn0r0j.jpg

_____Omega would blink again, digging around her memory of the recent events as her face would shift just slightly to a frown. She had picked the race because it seemed the most logical and like her real self, but the recent events did make it much harder to deal with social skills with most people either avoiding or branding her a 'loose cannon'. So when the cloth was offered the man moved away Omega would hold her hand up to decline it.

_____It was illogical, Offering the cloth would only make her outfit less dirty but also dirty the other fabric and as such was unwanted and wasteful. She knew how to deal with such messes, and as her head slowly shifted back to strait up she would give a small nod to the woman. The closest thing she could think of as a thank you to avoid going into another lengthy rant about everything that had just transpired. She did however feel the need to address one thing.

"Inquiry, Why attack the man? Individual designated as 'Lorelei' had no personal motive for such actions that unit designation 'Omega' can perceive. In addition, cloth offer illogical, it would only double the dirty fabric that would need cleaning, wasteful of time at later occur for both parties..."

_____Omega would blink after speaking. Everything came down to the numbers, the logic, the reason with her. Only thing she could never attach number, logic, reason to was her devotion to goddess as there was no such number large enough, no such reason beyond it, and no flaw in the logic. So she would blink again waiting for the reply to add to her information that could possibly help her understand how others worked or based judgement on.

Lorelei rolled her eyes at the male's exclamation and proclamation. Honestly, she hadn't really concerned herself with a lot of the lore to do with the time she'd been away. She was content to learn as she went along and face whatever she ran into, when she did. It wouldn't have made a difference in her actions, anyway, to be fair. She had simply reacted to the situation in the manner she thought to. "Uncalled for?" Her voice was clear, though not raised and holding no note of the animosity that had been behind her punch. "To be fair, I don't give a damn about anything you're talking about. Unless you can prove to me that this particular Magia had a hand in those particular incidents or has done something adverse directly to you or yours, then as far as I'm concerned, you just spit on an innocent woman who was just trying to be polite. So, apologize or take your ignorance else where."

She scoffed as the man moved away, her narrowed gaze shifting back to something akin to calm, if not friendly, as her attention turned back to the light-haired female. She returned the cloth she held to its place, as the woman refused it. She wasn't going to be pushy about something that had simply been a gesture of kindness, after all. The small nod received from the other woman, she simply offered her a small smile. She'd already gathered in listening to her exchanges with others and watching the actions she'd see, added to the bit of info from the man she'd punched, that the woman was awkward, at best. Her mechanical person being something that Lorelei could envision others finding uncomfortable, at the least. So she said nothing and gave no indication to caring that she didn't get a spoken thank you.

Her small smile widened some as she listened to the other woman speak. She seemed to be trying to find some logic to Lorelei's actions and stance on the matter at hand, and for some reason that realization only made the Magia seem more innocent in her opinion. She shrugged, lightly, as she gave the other woman a slight shake of her head. "There isn't always a logical rhyme or reason as to why people do things, I don't think. For me, in this case, it was simply that I felt that man was wrong and should be taken into account for it." To Lorelei, that, in itself was logic enough, though she knew, already, that to many it would be a twisted sort of logic. "As for the cloth. Yes, it would have made more of a mess to have to wash at a later time, but cleaning messes is one of their purposes and it seemed perfectly logical to offer a way to clean your clothing, to me. It was a gesture of kindness, though I do not find it unkind for you to have refused."

She let her words trail off for a moment, seeming to ponder over something, her mossy-green hues dancing over the surrounding area for a moment, before coming to rest back on the light-haired Magia once more. "So your name is Omega?" She queried, before moving her hand to gesture towards the path through the town. "Care to join me, Omega? It would be nice to have someone to show me the way to the shops you mentioned, and I wouldn't mind the company along the way." She said, her elongated, pointed-tipped ears twitching a little as she awaited the other woman's answer.

"Conformation, Designation is Omega yes.

Reply, individual could accompany you though Designation Omega will not agree to pay for any items on behalf of Designation Lorelei."

Jyn0r0j.jpg

_____Omega would blink, then proceed to follow Lorelei two steps behind and to the right. She would keep her pace even, but did not seem fully focused on any one thing as she returned to more of her normal mode. She was designed to act as a guard, so there was no time to linger view on any one thing as all needed to be kept under surveillance. Hand waving to have her wings form and break apart to begin flying around independent.

_____Each one having a small camera, and each was attached to the eyepatch to allow only the magia to see all of it as the eye could dart around without looking weird. Sure she could just walk casually beside the elf but it was also worth trying to practice her body guard mode. She took note of people that disliked her, anyone that looked to be hiding things, and all the while unsure what to say to the woman for casual conversation.

"Inquiry, why would you prefer the company of a stranger? Sure it may be logical with a guide as the region is possibly unknown or forgotten. It is also a positive as due to magia nature traits this unit is able to differentiate quality of product and able to properly judge price due to trove of knowledge...

The flaws though vastly outnumber these positives. Designation Lorelei has been given no reason to trust Designation Omega, One can also not be sure that by being near Designation Omega is good for one's one wellbeing due to recent events labeling most Magia as enemy to general Lander populace. Nor can one trust if Designation Omega would tell the truth about prices of items..."

_____Omega would keep listing off the reasons it was unwise to have her around. She did not see the logic or enough reason to do such a thing. Every person here seemed adverse to the Magia race, outside the few that one could easily tell classified as 'starcalled' or players. Some of the wing parts darting back to go check a different region but stay in a loose but effective net to oversee all around them to be ready in the event of threat though currently the hostility was still with range of 'distrust' and Omega would work to keep it as such to avoid making trouble for her Goddess.

Lorelei chuckled, softly, as she heard Omega's blunt statement that she would not agree to pay for anything of the elf's. Shaking her head as she glanced back at the other woman, she gave her a smile. "You can just call me Lorelei, and I wouldn't ask anything such as paying for my purchases of you, Omega, I assure you." Taking note of the wings detaching from the other woman, her hues followed their trajectory for a moment. From their pathing and general design, she assumed they were being used for surveillance. The thought brought her to wonder if the Magia were worried about possible threats or if being on guard was simply in her build.

She kept her own pace as she noted the other female steadying her own, choosing a pace just behind Lorelei. Pondering over it for only a moment, she addressed the Magia again. "Omega, are you always on guard or are you worried there may actually be danger about?" She asked the other woman, curiosity getting the better of her, before Omega began to speak again. Listening intently, her hues dancing along the path and area around them, she thought for a moment over the question the other female asked her, waiting for at least a small break in Omega's dialogue before she spoke up herself.

"Well, Omega, you are not actually a stranger now." Knowing her answer might confuse the other female, she continued. "In just the little moments of time we have been interacting, I have learned your name, your race, and that you are inquisitive. You have learned my name, I am an elf, which is obvious, and you know I will punch rude people. I would say you are now more of an acquaintance. As for your reasoning for why my wishing to have you join me may be a good or bad idea …" She paused for a moment, pondering over how to best continue her explanation.

"I am not actually worried about getting lost. I just thought some company would be nice along the way. I didn't know Magia had traits that would allow such knowledge and ability, so that had nothing to do with my reasoning. I also have no knowledge of anything to do with why that man was being rude to you. So Magia reputation doesn't concern me in this matter. Your reasoning, so far, for why my choice is illogical is that I don't know if I can trust you, at least that is what I'm gathering." She said, halting her steps for a moment and giving the other female a wide, genuine smile, her normally mossy-green hues shining an almost emerald green with the gesture.

"How can I learn rather or not I can trust you, if we don't spend some time together, so that we can get to know each other better?" She asked, tilting her head slightly to the right as her elongated, pointed-tipped ears twitched against the strands of her midnight black hair. She said nothing more for a few moments, giving the other woman time to process her words, before turning to head back along her chosen path.

_____Omega would while speaking tap the metal bar near her neck to turn the translator off and her normal speech back. For the first time showing emotion of distance until the metal was tapped again to return her speech again. Blinking a few times as she started to consider the other spoken parts. She did not enjoy when people did things that did not have benefit or such so did not understand the logic there but would speak on another matter.

"Reply, Designation Omega is primarily assigned as Goddess' defense and protector. if no other mode is selected Designation Omega will default to survalence and protection modes.

Statement, The line between stranger and acquaintance is thin and often times differs from person to person it seems..."

_____Omega would blink again before shifting her shoulders to have the wings return and set them into inactive mode as she kept walking. Unsure if the mention of her actions was to ask her to stop or not so decided to simply stop as she gained nothing from keeping it going as her mind did not value the safety of the elf as much as to keep burning energy at that rate.

"Clerification, Reason most 'landers' dislike the Magia race as due to reason events where the Magia from Vinterguard attacked several area and killed countless. Atop this the leader of said Magia seemed able to hack into Sstarcalled Magia systems to have them act amok also.

It is due to that my systems are not in ideal operational status. Several features needed to be shut down to avoid actions taken that would be displeasing to Goddess and her motives..."

Lorelei listened to the Magia's words almost eagerly as they walked; elongated ears twisting and pointing back, slightly, as they registered her change from common speech to something more mechanical. The coded speech wasn't something she understood, per say, however, she did recognize the patterns of 0s and 1s as binary code, or at least whatever this world's equivalent of such might be. Her steps slowed as they neared the first of the shops she intended to visit, and she turned, facing the Magia. She continued to move, though backwards, as she spoke.

She did not pinpoint on the Magia's reasoning for using 'designation' as if it were part of a title. There was no need, as the explanation was basically that Omega was programmed that way. She did, however, pick up on other parts of the Magia's explanations.
"There are a lot of social points and ideals that are like that, honestly. Most things aren't really black and white, so to speak. A person's own beliefs and morals, personality and mindset all play a factor into what seems logical to those of us who aren't ...Well, Magia, I suppose." She said, hoping her explanation wouldn't seem offensive, as she wasn't certain how else to word her statement.

Having been walking the way she was, it would likely have drawn some sort of attention, but Lorelei turned back to face forward just as randomly as she had turned to face the other woman. Her steps remained sure as her hues scanned the area around her, watching the path and surrounding places for anything she might need to avoid.
"It sounds to me like I was right and people are blaming the many for the crimes of the few. Neither you nor your people deserve that. Those directly and willingly involved are due punishment for their crimes, yes, but, as far as I am concerned, those who were being controlled do not deserve to be further victimized." She left her statement at that as she stopped her steps once more, just outside of the Smoke & Mirror's Herbal Shop.

Lorelei did not enter the store right away, however. Instead, choosing to continue their current conversation for a moment longer, she leaned against the front wall of the building, out of the way of the door, as she turned back to face the Magia once more, her arms crossing over her chest as she did.
"I have two more questions for you, at this time, Omega." She said, giving the other woman a smile. "One, I understand the reasoning for your systems being partially shut down as devastating as they are, but can they not be restored? And second, If I may ask, who is this Goddess you keep speaking of. She must mean a great deal to you to be so foremost in your thoughts."

Her questions were simple curiosity. So far, she honestly liked the light-haired Magia, and the was more than curious to learn more about her. She was also convinced that the other female had been in the throws of some odd social experiment or something, when she'd come across her, but that she did not point out at this time, as she was more so curious about the Magia herself and the information she was turning out to her. It was fascinating to Lorelei, as she'd not met with anyone quite like the other female, until now.

"Reply, System restoration efforts have failed each time attempted, Designation Omega is not versed well enough in Magitech to fully seek out the flaw and repair them.

Reply, The world can remain black and white. No reason logically to cloud with color or shades of grey. One can either act or not, speak or not, help or not... One does not need to give advice, one does not need to whisper to some, one does not need to only partially help someone. Even if one accounts belief and moral one can still divide all things into simple yes or no situations with the right thought process.

Statement, Goddess is goddess, until Designation Omega is given reason to disclose the information further this unit will do no such thing. Designation Omega does not know if you are friend or foe to Goddess, does not know if you work for someone that seeks to harm Goddess, does not know ... point is made..."

_____For the first time Omega cut herself off, she did not see reason to keep listing all the reasons she did not trust Lorelei with any more information about her goddess. Eye blinking as the magia attempted to repair one of her lesser damaged systems while they stood outside the shop, or while the women did her shopping as the Magia moved away from the center of the path and sat down as green eye was covered by the eyepatch to reveal the red she often hid.

"System repair sequence starting, section set for repair 'Emotion' Damage minor, attempting system restore... ... Restore fail, issue 'error seven-four-eight... Attempting system reconstruction... ... Reconstruction failed, system error zero-zero-one... ... Returning to functional mode..."

_____Hand moving the eyepatch back as the Magia would adjust to stand and wait outside unless she was called into the building. Eye shifting suddenly as the door would swing open and what could only either be a shop keep or assistant to them poked their head out to the two who had been outside chatting. The overbearing smell of Lavender and cinnamon making Omega's nose crinkle as she moved a step to the side.

"Hello, Welcome to Smoke And Mirrors, your one stop shop for Herbal items and remedies on the Zalra border... Don't be afired to come on in, I'm not gonna bite you..."

sk4JwMm.jpg

_____The individual waved for them to come inside while holding the door open with the other hand. Their pointy ears twitching a bit as the seemed all to eager for a customer. The inside of the shop was stocked, not the best quality items but the prices all seemed close to match or just under what it should be. Well organized and set mostly for what type of alchemy they would be used for with the more versatile items kept center on the island counters.

____Humming, the individual would pull out a mortal and parcel from the small bag around thier waist and hold the door with a foot until both people entered. Following behind as the picked a few things from the shelves and started to work on something. Omega stayed at the side of the door, ready to leave and keeping an eye on all motion in the shop as any bodyguard would having defaulted back to the mode after trying another system repair.

"So what sort of alchemy are you looking to achieve? Ive got mostly beginner to Intermediate things on display with a few higher class things stocked elsewhere for... well all of our safety ha ha. I will say there is nothing 'live' here, we here at Smoke and mirrors do not wish to endorse any sort of alchemy that requires parts of a creature or such things."

OOC note: Can come up with a few yourself or I can next post based on what your looking for.~ (or try... I don't have a chemistry experience XD)

Lorelei listened intently to the other female's words. She couldn't argue with her reasoning for not wanting to answer her question. It was, obviously, logical. However, regardless of what she did already know about the Magia, she couldn't help but feel a bit of a twinge to her heart at the way the other woman's mind seemed to view the world. There was a certain joy in the ability to think beyond basic logic, at least as far as Lorelei believed. Creativity and emotions were things that helped to set individuals apart. It saddened her a little to see just how empty the light-haired woman seemed to be. "You're right, none of those things are necessarily needed, Omega, but they do make life a bit more interesting, I think. The diversity among people is one of the appeals to adventuring and making friends. As for your answer to my other inquiry. As I said before getting to know each other is where trust does or doesn't form. You're welcome to ask me questions too."

She cut her own words short as she watched the Magia move to sit. Observing her actions for a moment, she remained silent, listening as she began to speak once more, seeming to try and repair something within her systems. Lorelei knew little about the Magia people, only what she'd learned so far this very day, really, but it was clear to her, if not to the Magia herself, that there was much more beneath the surface of what Lorelei saw as a victim of circumstance. She truly hoped the other female could find a way or someone to be able to help her. Hell, she was more than willing at this point to help her find someone that could. Though she remained quiet on the matter, as the shop's door was open.

The smell of lavender and cinnamon was nearly enough to send Lorelei into a sneeze as the door swung open and the shop keeper poked her head out. Her hand moved to cover her face as she sneezed. Blinking, slowly, as she lowered her hand and turned her mossy-hued gaze onto the shop keeper and back to the Magia. "Would you like to come in with me, Omega?" he chuckled, softly, before pushing away from the wall and making her way through the door. She didn't wait to see if the other female would follow. The choice would be hers, of course.

Hues shifted around the small shop, taking in the atmosphere and the inventory of the place as she listened to the shop keeper speak, gaze shifting back to the woman. "I'm mostly just browsing, at the moment." She said, her voice kind, calm as she shifted around the store, observing the items on the shelves. She picked over a few things. Water root and Night Lily, Poppy Pollen and Lightning Moss and Stinging Nettle. She procured a few shells and bones that were on the shelves. Things that she could tell by their condition had been found, rather than harvested. The thought made her smile as she made her way over to the shop keeper. "Now, about the higer class items you said you have?" She said as she placed her selections on the counter. Her attention shifted back to Omega for a moment as she waited for the shopkeeper's answer, observing the Magia as she seemed to be guarding the door.

"Well it depends on what type of alchemy you wishing to go about doing. if your doing alchemy to work alongside a set other thing of magic, your general run of the mill stuff, potions that heal or enhance one's abilities..."

_____The shop keep would start to list off the different types. Omega blinking as the lack of a proper reply made sense to her. Lorelei had not given a set type she was looking for and if the merchant was smart they would either offer the most expensive if they valued money, or keep pushing a refined search like they seemed to be to give the customer what they came for or try to. Adjusting to step aside as another person entered.

_____A quick glance was all Omega needed, her eye checking for any sign of weapon, their stance, expression, response to the others being there. Once Omega had finished her quick check she did not place them high on the threat list and would stay where she chose to be. The shop keep moving to help the other customer who seemed to be a regular before returning back to Lorelei as she finished her project and poured it into a bottle.

"If you just wanting to start dabbling in high level alchemy I'd place money on getting a small or average amount Onyx bamboo, it's got the most you cna get from my stock and overall general good. The crushed version is great as a enhance agent, the leaves have decent to above average effect on healing or poising if prepared with something like mage barbarries."

"Intel, Onyx Bamboo, located beyond border into Zalra. Rare growth rate and drastically slow, item would not be cheap."

"Well if they are more looking on the cheaper side of things, Ice Ambrosia works good, it does not have as much varietal use but is very good as a base agent when trying to fuse Alchemy and Hydromancy. I also recently got some crystal bush to aid Geomancy and alchemy fusions. Most high grade stuff on the cheaper side is just booster or Mixer items."

Lorelei listened intently as she shop keeper answered her. Ears twitching, slightly, as she took in each description she was given. She gave no indication of rather she noticed someone else entering the shop or not as she waited for the woman to finish her statements. "Ice Ambrosia. Say, an ounce?" She said, offering the woman a smile and waiting for her order to be packaged, before paying and turning from the counter to make her way back to the door. She seemed to pay no mind to the other customer, outside of a quick glance as she passed by on her way to rejoin Omega, seeing no reason to bother them, were they not to bother her.

"Time to head to the next place, I suppose." She said to Magia, her voice holding a cheerful note, as she made a few quick hand movements, the package she held disappearing into her inventory as she did. "If you're still willing to travel with me, that is." She continued as she stepped through the door, waiting outside for a moment to be sure the other woman followed or not and the door was shut behind her, before Lorelei spoke up again. "I'm not really looking for specifics at the moment, if you're wondering. Just things I've not found and information on them, mostly, and I did hear you speak up about the Onyx Bamboo. I'm curious, if your knowledge expands enough information, how hard would it be to find and procure said item, myself?"

At that point she began to make her way back to the main path, hues shifting over the area for a moment as she settled back into her almost lazy pace. She was curious to know the answer to her inquiry, but there were other shops to check out as well, and she saw no reason to stand around when conversation could be had easily enough while performing other actions.

_____Omega would simply watch the exchange take place, keeping an eye on the shop keep and the item to make sure it was what it had been claimed to be based on the knowledge Omega had on the matter. Nodding if Lorelei looked over to make sure it was proper price and item like they had discussed the Magia would do while joining the elf on this shopping trip. When Lorelei started to head towards the door with intent to leave in her step Omega would move to open and hold it for them.

"Reply, Designation Lorelei had requested Designation Omega join her for shopping and Designation Omega stated they would assist. As Designation Omega has not been dismissed or given assignment that takes greater priority will continue to follow and aid."

_____Blinking a few times as Omega would return to following two steps behind and to the right side of the elf. The next question had Omega slow her pace down by another pace back as she tried to multi task, taking in what she knew of the woman so far, comparing it to the region and after a bit of number crunching she would return to two paces behind Lorelei and give the reply.

"Calculation, Dependent on several variables your odds of 'safely' obtaining Onyx Bamboo alone are only roughly six point forty three percent likely, Odds of obtaining Onyx Bamboo with minimal injury is roughly anywhere from seven point three percent likely, to fifteen point one percent likely. Odds of obtaining Onyx bamboo with sever but recoverable damage range from thirty six point eight-one-three percent to sixty four percent. Chance of death, fourteen point four seven percent chance.

Note, This calculation is taking only into account what Designation Omega knows of Designation Lorelei's combat and or survivability skills. This is also accounting stature, muscle to fat ration, estimated lung and stamina compacity... Several other factors but it is likely undesired to be heard."

"I'm happy to hear that, Omega." Lorelei responded to the Magia's reply. "It's nice to have company at times, and I am enjoying yours." She meant the words, though the small smile on her face would likely be missed with the positions they were walking in. She said no more, however, as the Magia began answering her other inquiry; words being taken in by twitching ears and an expression of raised brow, seeming to ponder over the information given. She continued to walk in silence for a few moments, processing the numbers and information, herself.

"I understand your logic, and can see where it might pose a problem for myself, if I were to try to procure said item myself, but those stats will also raise according to certain factors, including if I were to take someone or ones along to help. So, it may just be worth the risk, if I decide to take it. And think of all the new things I could discover on the journey." Excitement was clear in the elf's voice, but she chuckled, softly, as her steps slowed, her hues taking in the names of the shops and places she could see around them.

"That is a decision for another time, however." She said, as she turned to the right, making her way towards towards the sign labeled Bottle Shock. Turning in her steps for a moment, she continued, walking backwards as she raised a brow at the Magia. "This is the place you said prices were wrong in, yes?" She asked, before turning back to face forward, her steps lithe, almost like a dance over the path beneath her as she moved. "Let's see what we can find, shall we?" She chuckled as she reached the door, waiting for Omega to catch up, before reaching to push said door open.

"Reply, Depended on who you bring yes, If you bring someone with exact location of the item sought and threats in region could avoid combat entirely, if you brought someone with much higher combat power zero injury to you but likely cost out of pocket for the bodyguard service.

Response, Yes this is the store where the owner mismarks prices to be more then paid for when sold to them, more then they should be for the quality and amounts, and buys things at cheaper then should from suppliers and adventurers. Designation Omega can not enter shop, have been banned."

sbVBZzO.jpg

_____Omega would stand at the side of the door away from where she could be seen by anyone inside if it was opened. Falling down to sit once more as Omega chose to take this time while 'waiting' and watching to work on her system issues some more. She did not want to regroup with her goddess while she was not at full functional power and be labeled defective or useless. Even if Goddess said she would not discard her, the Magia was still terreifed enough mistakes would result in such.

_____If Lorelei still chose to enter with the warnings given the shop was far more 'active' then the previous one. Several people browsing and looking at the items that anyone with half a knowledge on Herbalist could tell got mismarked. Some items being claimed to be another due to how much they could pass for another, and no price made sense if you checked the market at other shops for said items. The owner however, after dealing with a customer checking out walked over to Lorelei with an eccentric bow.

"Welcome fine madam, to bottle shock, where prices here will shock and amaze...~"

_____While the merchant seemed friendly enough if Lorelei was not careful the subtle use of magic in the words would start to mess with her senses. The merchant trying to change what was perceived with Illusion magic. making the items that looked bad quality look top grade, those that been 'mismarked' look more like that what they should. It was simply a lesson that not all merchants play fair as the door would close cutting Omega and Lorelei away from one another so the Magia could not give the other warning even if she wanted to.

She listened to Omega speak, a slight frown turning down the corners of her lips as the Magia mentioned being banned from the current shop. That alone was enough for Lorelei to decide not to forego entering the place. It was just more proof of the crookedness of the establishment, in her eyes, and she was curious to see just how bad it was. Of course, if she could leave a little chaos in her wake, then so be it. As far as she was concerned, Omega deserved the retribution.

She made her way into and through the place readily enough as the shop keeper spoke to her, but she remained silent as she looked over the available wares. She was hardpressed to keep herself from snorting or giving a laugh out loud, as she glanced over the shelves and displays. Illusioned, nearly all of it. Simply enough for her to recognize at that. It was likely the shop's owner didn't account for anyone being able to see through their little ploy, at least not commonly.

Turning her attention to the shop keeper as she noticed an item on one of the shelves and made her way over, she raised a brow as she lifted the red gem from its place on the shelf. It was a blood stone, pure in its make-up and one of the very few things in the store not illusioned or overly priced for what it was worth. "Is this really all you're asking for this item?" She said to the shop keeper, her fingers sliding over the tag attached to the large gem. just a fleeting motion to activate her own illusion magics on the tag, bringing it to show a price less than half that actually displayed.

Her voice took on a note of excitement, drawing attention from customers nearby. Good. They would see the price she'd brought to show on the tag, rather the shop keeper saw through it or not. "This is amazing. I've been looking for just this item. I'll take it!" She exclaimed, making her way to the counter to wait and see how things would play out and rather or not she'd be making her purchase. If she were able, she would pay and leave. If she were not, well, she'd cross that bridge as she came to it.

"System deep dive enabled, Is Designation Omega in a place that can be considered 'safe' for extended, uninterrupted systematic work... Yes ... Response documented, what is the desire for system deep dive... Repair damaged and corrupt sections of unit. ... System request acknowledged, redirecting to damaged sector containment zone."[/i]

_____While Omega took this time to try and deep dive fix her issues, it seemed Lorelei was trying to make a scene and take on the merchant with his own game. Walking over to notice what she was trying to do, and while he tried to reach to take the item back to 'fix' the tag another customer took note of the exchange and rushed over to see what they might have missed.

"I think you must be mistaken miss, the price..."

_____Another customer rushing over, the owner now no longer able to simply say check your eyes as several had now seen the drastic mismark and started to fight over who 'saw it first' or who 'had the better use' and a small riot began to spark leading the merchant to glare at the elf who started the mess. He wanted to backhand her, but the reputation of the shop would fall for such. so he simply had to fight fire with fire like she started.

_____His hand waving behind his back as one customer would feel a hand pulling in their pocket. The coin bag now 'missing' as the man shouted to get everyone to dial down. The merchant shifting the Illusion over towards Lorelei placing the coin bag on her waist causing the man to start moving towards her. The others whispering about the trouble caused while the Merchant quickly moved to try and fix the price of the stone.

"What is the big idea Ya pointed ear? Think you can use the mess of a price mistake to steal from people aye!"
