Personality
Sydney is a happy woman who wants to only see the bright sides of life. She likes to see a glass as half-full, though that might not be the same for the person holding it. If she has reason to suspect something bad about a person, her heart draws the conclusion for her-with or without confirmation. If she has reason to see the bright side of anything else, she probably will.
She can be stubborn and vindicative over her judgements. Thankfully, she's also a very moderate person who wouldn't go to arms over something she finds to be wrong with a person. Though, if she were to be made angry--that would be another case. Sydney has a long fuse and a stockpile of explosives in her heart.
She wants to be as happy as she can be, and buries bitter things that belong to the past where nobody could possibly see them-especially an incident that she refuses to talk about to anyone, one that has made her bitter towards people. Perhaps that was why she was building a new home here-to escape the old one at times.
Positive: Cheerful, Focused, High-Spirited, Honest, Open, Patient, Persistent
Negative: Angry, Imprudent, Vindicate, Violent
Background
Miss Lynge was once a Missus that enjoyed her life in every way. Born an upper-class child of Greenland, she grew up to fulfill her dream job through hard work and study. She received an engineer's degree at the age of 20, and was engaged to someone who was studying to join the same field of work.
Something happened that she refuses to this day to talk about to anyone else. Whatever happened, the engagement was swiftly broken and the two separated by law. She still couldn't find herself free of the man, though, as she worked in the same field. Their frequent run-ins turned her heart bitter and angry, up until the point in which she had enough of it.
She left her home country and has yet to return. For the last year and a half, she had been taking jobs as a construction hire part of a team that built homes for impoverished third-world populations under funding of the World Government. Sydney hadn't ever expected to take work as a construction hand herself-she'd thought that she was previously of too high a family to be accepted as a blue-collar worker. It surprised her how enjoyable the job was to her as she took to labor like fish to water, merely using her experience as an engineer to give advice to the overseers of whatever project was currently in the works.
It was a great life. Why did she still feel those bitter pangs nonetheless? There had to be some way to escape the way she felt so down. An answer came in the form of a game. Without warning or heed to what should be her terrible connection, a game called Terrasphere showed up in her email, reccomended by an anonymous friend in her company.
She couldn't trust it-and yet, she had to try it out.
