In game she's much the same as she is in the real world with one marked difference: she is more likely to speak up about injustice or other issues she sees playing out. In the real world, her desire to be kind and stand up for others is tempered by the fact that she is not capable in a fight. In the game, however, this is replaced by bravery spurred on by powers that level the playing field somewhat.
She's kind to the point that it might be a little suspicious, but her typical smirk belies her sincerity so that suspicion is often well-placed, even if it irks her. In love, she's unwavering in her feelings for others, no matter what.

Background
Born into a big family with many siblings, Celine learned early on to sort of fend for herself when needed but also how to ask for help. This became relevant as she grew older and aced her way through school, easily the smartest child in the family and perhaps the school. Her status as Valedictorian reflected that, at least, along with a scholarship to attend the university she wanted.
Of all the things she could have been, she chose to be a librarian as someone who had found refuge in books for decades already. She found Terrasphere through a connection she made at college, intrigued enough to look into it for research about the kinds of people that flocked there and their reasons for being there. She had no way of knowing what was awaiting her, though, and how much it would change her life.
