Mio was relieved, seeing things getting easier. With the last bandit left, she wasn't sure if it would turn tail and run, but she didn't intend to let it go. Anyone who threatened her pockets would suffer or die... if she was able to make them so at least. With that in mind she again prepared herself for an attack, seeing Kyoka and Hayate suffering though she didn't want to just be the only one who didn't bleed a little. If this was going to be the final charge of the last bandit she wanted to at least prove some mettle for her allies.

With a gesture she tried to focus her skills, pulling the ink away from the others, she directed it towards the bandit instead, trying to blacken the bandit's world until Mio was the only thing left in their sights. "I'll give you one." She pouted in anticipation of a blow, but even so continued the fight. It was a simple attack, waving her hand trying to weaken the bandit further while making sure to keep people safe.

The bandits fall one by one as the party outsmarts and out damages them. When there is only a single one remaining, eyes wide, sweat beading across his brow, Triss feels a surge of victory that she never has before. There were moments in her life when she won or when something positive happened which would cause her to smile or exclaim positively. But those moments were unlike this.

Her gums felt as if they were vibrating with energy and she would swear that her palms were being held next to a tesla coil. In such a state, it was hard to remember that this was nothing more than a game and all of this simulated reality was a trick to get her to keep playing. Furthermore, to get her to ultimately come back. And how was Triss to say no?

Blood from the wounds of her allies lift from around them, losing the vibrant red that denoted it as such liquid. It blackened into tar, the ichor releasing a rancid smell akin to old meat and garbage left too long in the sun. With a flick of her hand, her eyes glowing emerald, she cast it at the remaining bandit, smothering him while his attention was on Mio and only Mio.

He fell back onto the ground, his gnarled hands reaching up to his face in a feeble attempt to claw the gunk from his nostrils, his eyes, his mouth. It was useless. And Trissayne watched as he slowly suffocated, her head listing slightly to the right, a dispassionate though intrigued look passing over her cheekbones and the curve of her mouth. When he died and the tar slid away, pooling on the ground around his head, she seemed to snap out of whatever trance she had been in, her lips parting to suck in a deep lungful of air.

"Holy shit, we did it!" she exclaimed, looking around at the party with a brilliant smile. "Okay, we gotta keep going, right? Da place where we gotta take da alcohol yeah? Let's go! Before more of dem be appearing."

It wasn't the most pretty of deaths, but the man was just an NPC right? They had been successful in the surprise encounter. Was it a scripted thing for the quest, or something randomly generated. Just how exactly did the world grow and change with each of their actions. It was something he always wondered and thought about. But those idle thoughts were for the future. No instead it was time for a celebration and victory. Grinning over at the others he nodded along with Triss's Cheer.

"Yeah we did! It was a pretty quick fight, though one that hurt. Thank you for the healing Miss Kyoko and the protection Miss Mio and nice shot Miss Triss." He'd say to the gathered women that had joined the party, reading their names off the interface.

"Once we get to the place we can all share a drink, that is part of the reward I bargained for." He'd finish with a tap of the keg he sat down upon. Another nod was given towards Triss. They did have to get moving in case more showed up. Eye's moving to the barrels he'd check them for any sign of damage.
