There was so much to see.

Trissayne had thought, originally, that staying in the same area and completing every single quest there was the way to go. Sure, some of them didn't give dick-all for experience, but they were cute in their own way. The quest to catch a little girl's cat had been a work-out-and-a-half which left her sides burning when she took off her VR head-set some two or three hours later.

If she felt that way after chasing a little tabby kitten around a backyard, she dreaded the moment she got into actual combat.

So, she stayed close to the roads, the towns, the villages. When directed to leave for Pormont, she took the road, enjoyed the sights and nice weather, grumbled about all the walking, and quickly found herself standing in the middle of a very busy market district. It was...overwhelming; like a Ren Faire with too many people and smells and sounds. Blinking doesn't clear her vision and standing off to the side, what she believes to be out of the way, doesn't stop others from brushing against her, shoving, pushing, and shouting for her to move.

Trissayne does not cower. She stands straight, glares where she can, but still moves so that she's not in the way. And, in doing so, she finds herself standing beside a man, the smoke from his cigarette immediately tickling her nostrils and making her nose twitch.

"Can't be leaving da vices outside of da game, eh?" she asks, emerald eyes glancing up at his face. Before he can reply, she immediately lifts a hand as if to ward him away. "Ain't judging. You're just da first I be seeing with dat stick between ya lips."

...Shit, what if he was an NPC? She really needed to ask Zel how the fuck she could tell one from the other.

"Uh—oh! Do ya be knowing where someone might be needing some help wit tings?"

There. That normally started their dialogue tree.

Opposite to Trissayne, he hadn't her fervor in completing quests and if anything he left more unfinished with a rather spectacular failure rate. Doing things on his own with his own drive and impetus was a new concept to him. It was so easy to get distracted by all this new world had to offer. Wandering from place to place without accomplishing much, a true inept gamer and person. All that was on his mind was his own satisfaction, though he had to admit it was nice to be the one approached for once. People asking him for things was nice. Giving him a false sense of accomplishment without doing anything.

It was one of the rare cases that he DID agree to a quest, though the reason was readily apparent. The casks of Alcohol. A type he had yet to try to be delivered from the brewery to a series of Inns down the road through a few cities. With the promise of being able to tap in at each location for a few free mugs himself. It was one of the few pleasures he had found, a rough homestyle type of food that warmed him in a way that the fancy Michelin starred restaurant chefs never could. Why did he care of the 'artistry' of the plate. No all that matter was the taste and the experience.

Relaxing and leaning against the building wall he had lit a cigarette, slowly sucking in the wisp of nicotine and then releasing the plume of smoke. Watching it curl and disperse into nothing, he pondered just how it was that he was going to finish this quest. But as it always seemed, the world presented him an answer. In the form of dark skinned woman asking if he needed assistance.

Grasping the cig between a pair of slender fingers he lowered it to his side, as he pushed away from the wall. He gave her a small shake of the head with a raised eyebrow, pondering. She seemed like a player, though how was one to tell? "Oh, uh. Yes. Never smoked before recently, thought I would try it. Experience new things and all that." Giving her a shrug then a nod at her follow up question. "Well I have to deliver these things, but no clue how to do that without a wagon and all. Any chance you have one or ideas?"

He was blissfully unaware she thought of him as an NPC. Even if that assessment wasn't too far off with his personality.

Of all the things this world had to offer, all the experiences yet to be discovered, smoking was the first one this individual wanted to engage in. Triss can't help but narrow her eyes at him, though she is quick to turn her head away, to look out into the throng of people before them instead of allowing her gaze to linger.

People played this game for their own reasons. Perhaps, if this was indeed a real person she was speaking to, they were locked away in a bubble somewhere, unable to experience anything other than the stagnant reality of their spherical prison. Smoking, therefore, would be a joy, a luxury even, to one such as them.

The lines across her forehead ease and a sigh works from her diaphragm, leaving slowly.

"Deliver tings?" she asks, immediately curious. Glancing behind him, she notices the barrels of alcohol, the stamp across their wooden surface unknown to her but visable. They looked...heavy. And when her attention diverts back to him, a man slightly taller than her with about as much muscle definition as she had, well, she could tell they were going to be in a world of trouble.

"Mm. No wagon," she tells him with a smack of her lips. One hand rushes back through her hair, pulling the stark-white locks from her view. "Maybe we be buying wun? Maybe dere be someone around here dat might be selling wun." She pauses and sucks her teeth, considering other avenues of success. "Or, ah, we get a small trolley wit wheels and load dem up and push it through da street to where ya gotta go."

She clears her throat.

"...Where do ya gotta go? Can we go dere and convince dem to come pick dese up instead of us takin dem all da way dere?"

Contrary to what most believed and thought of the scions of the rich and powerful, he lived a more limited and controlled life vice wise. Anything that could be bought with money, was easily and freely given. But anything related to the sins? Remained unknown and alien. Something new to discover and experience, along with the pains and toils of being a regular person. Was there a demerit or something bad that would happen if he continually fell through in his quests? Maybe, but if there was, how as he to know. Neither his life before TerraSphere or during it gave any sign of repercussions beyond making him hungry. That was food for thought for another time, blinking and shaking his head to clear his idle thoughts, he focused on the woman.

"Yes, the alcohol here." he'd reply gesturing over to the barrels and quest items. Much as she astutely observed he was built to be on the move, not carry things while on the move. And if he was forced to? It was going to take awhile.

"I did not think to ask the owner if they had a wagon to use, that might work. Or I am sure there's a shop or merchant we can rent one from. Good idea." A slight shudder was given to her last idea though. Pulling the cart himself all the way sounded like a terrible time. A new experience for sure, but not one that he needed or wanted.

"Town to the south, I believe. There is an Inn waiting for this shipment. A day or so travel, depending on how fast you go. I doubt they would come pick it up, if they could we wouldn't be here with this dilemma."

Triss immediately tsks in disappointment. Her hands rest upon her hips as she turns fully to the taller man, her head tilting back to keep her emerald gaze pinned to his face.

"You just going ta be takin da alcohol witout any help from da man who brew it? And he offered noting? At all?!"

She licks her lips and blows out a sharp breath. "Hopefully, you asked for payment at least? Some gold for all da trouble dis is putting ya through?"

Instead of waiting for him to answer her, she waves a hand through the air and looks off into the crowd again. She doesn't know where her new...friend...got his shipment, but they would be returning there to set things straight. And if he wasn't being paid, well, Triss would make sure that that also was settled and in his—now their—favor. At a minimum, a deal could be set up to receive half now and half later.

"Come on. Let's go get all dis settled and den get on da road. The sooner we get dis done, the sooner we get da money." She clears her throat and extends a hand, expecting him to shake it. "Am Trissayne by the way. You can call me Triss."

Oh he had done this all wrong, maybe if her response was anything to go by. Though at least it was only a half failure, he had at least made sure there would be a reward. The thought of asking for help from the brewer themself hadn't really occurred to him, until she mentioned it. Surely someone used to deliveries would have a cart or wagon that they could use, and maybe they were just short on the manpower to escort the delivery.

"Well he did, some gold and some of the brew. Along with housing for the night at the Inn upon completion. So payment yes for the trouble." He spoke over to woman as she searched the crowd.

Thankfully they were just outside the warehouse of the brewery with the establishment being right across the street. So it would be easy enough for them to try and strike a bargain, or adjust the terms. If she was persuasive enough,. That was a talent he sorely lacked.

"Oh, alright then. Thanks for the help. It is my pleasure to meet you Triss. My name is Hayate." He'd reply returning the gesture, raising his hand for the handshake after a short beat. A middle of the road greeting, not as fully polite with a bow and curtsy, but not as common as a simple head-nod. A lot easier than full formalities.

Well, he wasn't completely useless. At least that was good. Triss nods as he lists off rewards that he had already bargained for, but she can't help but sigh at the thought of just...leaving to drag barrels of alcohol south. "Just...how in da world were ya even tinking of transporting dese tings?" Surely not alone, right?

Weren't there bandits on the road?

...Aren't there always bandits on the road in these games?

Hayate is kind enough to point out the shop where he grabbed the alcohol and Triss nods before weaving her way through the crowd of people toward it. Head up, shoulders back, eyes set on the wooden door that is easily yanked open once she approaches.

Inside, the scent of grapes, hops, and something sweet tingles her nostrils. She immediately turns her head, looking for the owner of the establishment only for a woman to gently place a hand on her shoulder, her smile infectious enough that Triss finds the corners of her mouth quirking up.

"How can I help you?" she asks.

"Ah, am looking for da owner of dis, uh, brewery. Dey around?"

"Charles just stepped out for a moment, but maybe I can be of assistance? I'm his wife."

Glancing back at her new-found friend, while she doesn't have any reason to believe she's being lied to, she also would like confirmation from Hayate that this was someone she could ask a boon from.

"Ah. Me and my friend be needing a wagon for transport. Got lots of barrels of your alcohol and we be just two folks wit no real strength between us. So if we could borrow.."

"Oh! Right, yes, of course. Charles mentioned someone had come by to collect the barrels, but left before he could get the horses and the wagon set up. Come with me. We'll get you squared away."

"To be honest? Had not gotten around to that part yet. Was going to finish my smoke then think about it." he replied with a shrug. But her thoughts would be correct he was planning on doing it himself, who would he ask. His friends? That would require him to have some. Other players? He didn't know any in that way. Worst case, he'd have to ask the guild again. But that would just make him look bad and well? He already did that well enough himself just existing.

Following along behind the woman as she made her way into the brewery and shop, he waved at the proprietress. A nod was given to Triss when she looked his way for confirmation. "That is her."

So he had left early without paying attention, that was something to improve upon. A lot of the other games he had played before this had plenty of filler dialogue of non-import. But as he was coming to realize? TerraSphere was a lot different than what he was used to. With more depth and realism. With the stories that had floated around regarding it before, maybe given more weight.

Another nod was given towards Charles's wife as they made their way to the side or back to get the wagon ready. It was going to be a bit of labor to lift the barrels and it was better that it be done sooner rather than later. Raising his right hand to back of his neck he tilted it side to side, cracking it. This was why he had picked Chronomancy after all, to speed up labor. There was a movie about something like this, Click? From years ago.

"I will help load the wagon, thanks for the help Triss."

Once the wagon was ready, he'd hasten himself, speeding up his clock and accelerate through the loading process. It was his fault after all, so it was his mistake to correct if they were doing things and he wasn't going to abandon the quest.

"Thank you for your purchase miss~" It was the voice of a clerk making a sale, for Mio, porting around semi-expensive bottles was a nice low risk pay day. Receiving the collection of items she'd had rung up for, she couldn't move volume in the form of barrels but a few heavy duty bottles but she was trying to sell to a different cliental then most.

A few smaller high quality brew could be bought with real money, traded using a middle man, she could use that to relax for a short time. A couple of days of being able to play and study in peace without being stressed. Once it was spent up she'd have to find something else to move but for the time being, a few days was plenty for Mio until there was a bigger score.

"Thanks~ Sorry for the trouble guys." She spoke, making sure the bottles had proper labeling and the was seals didn't need another dip. She had to make sure there would be no reason anyone would be able to shave money off the top of a future deal but once she was confident she'd slide them into her inventory. Another reason to move high quality products in lower quantities, if she could carry it all in her inventory there was less danger to damaging the product.

On her way out though, seeing a pair working at barrels of liquor, she couldn't help feeling a little stifled. Sure they were probably doing a quest, moving quantities like that was impossible for RMT, even so though, seeing that amount of product being moved out left her a touch envious... But maybe they would hire a bit of help? "Hey Pretty Miss, Handsome Sir, do you need a hand? My rates are low." She tried to offer a hand, a small pittance as far as she thought hoping to negotiate something reasonable for her time if they wanted the hand.

Pretty Miss, eh?

Trissayne stands a little taller at the compliment and when she turns to Mio, her smile is a bit brighter than it needed to be. "An extra pair of hands can't be hurting too much," she says with a wink before gesturing to the wagon and the man loading it. "He's Hayate and I'm Trissayne, Triss for short. We're gonna be heading down south wit dis lot. Is about a day or so away from here, yah?"

She doesn't wait for Hayate to confirm or deny what she's said. She also doesn't wait for him to say that she can or cannot invite this new girl to their party. It's easy enough to open up the UI and invite them both, a thing she forgot to do originally but would certainly make travel a bit less strenuous if she could see their HP bars.

Party

Trissayne Lavelle has invited you to join their party.

Before long, the three of them were on the road out of the town. They had acquired something similar to a tarp to place on the back of the cart, covering the barrels from the elements. The front was wide enough for two of them to fit comfortably on the raised bench, the driver and the passenger looking out over the backs of the two horses that were leading this journey.

Trissayne, therefore, was sitting in the back, her legs dangling over the rear of the cart, her head tilted back as the sun bathed her features in warmth. In moments like this with the soft sway of the cart and the gentle push from the breeze, it was easy to forget that this was just a game. You got days like this in New Orleans, sure, but there was something...else...that reality just didn't have.

And that was a dangerous thought.

...Not quite as dangerous as the arrow that seemingly appears out of nowhere and embeds itself in the barrel to her side, narrowly missing her shoulder. She yelps in surprise and frantically beings looking around only to spot bandits riding toward them, hard and fast.

"Ah! Bandits! Dere are bandits chasing us!!"

Four Bandits have appeared on horseback!

Handsome sir. Well that was a way to greet someone. And as he thought on it, Triss took charge and went ahead and accepted her into the party. In addition to actually making it a party, something he had forgotten to do or think about. Even if he was working on expressing himself more, it was easy to fall back on hold habits and letting the older woman take charge. With a nod he'd accept the party invite, allowing the interface to take over as he peered over at the both of them.

"Nice to meet you." he'd say over to the new addition to the party. With her hand being offered and the 'traditional' handshake that had been done by Triss before, he'd repeat the gesture with the shorter woman. After going over the particulars of the mission, they were on their way.

Once they were on the road he'd have the thought, remembering what he had seen at the brewery. Mio had
purchased some of the shops wares, and they were part of the payment and why he wanted to do the quest to begin with. "Does their drink taste good? I hear---."

Small talk broken off by the call out by Triss. They were under attack. Spinning around to peer back towards the woman watching the rear and the oncoming bandits, he'd spot the arrow that just narrowly missed her. Hopping atop the cart he wobbled briefly before getting his bearings and finding stable footing. Slinging his bow over his shoulder he loose a flurry of arrows, both as a deterrent to slow the attackers down and buy them some time AND an attack focused on the opposing archer. It was going to be his job to provide the covering fire for the others, so they could focus on the melee.

Wait. They had never covered what everyone's strengths and masteries were. That was going to have to be something he remembered to ask in the future. Shaking his head to clear his idle and distracting thoughts he realized with the sheer number of attacks he let loose, statistics had taken over and a few of them actually landed. Almost in surprise he'd call over to the others.

"Oh, I hit one! You both ok? Can you fight on the move?"

Nothing remotely interesting was happening in Kyoko's world. Still being new to the game, she hadn't spent much time exploring the world around her. Still; this constantly was able to astound her brain, as she was able to do all of this from the confines of her room. Somehow over time she had been able to meander around, travelling from Eastern Brisshal to Pormont. That was how she found herself standing off in the distance, hidden between two pieces of shrubbery as four Bandits began to make an attack on a carriage. Three people seemed to ignite into action, their concern for another causing Kyoko to roll her eyes.

At the end of the day, you would only lose the people you cared about, and then it would really fuck with you and mess up your life. At least, that seemed to be Kyoko's belief. Lost in though, Kyoko didn't realize that her body had moved until she had skidded to a stop beside the carriage, stick in hand.

She had been running straight forward, past the bandits and towards the people they were attacking. Kyoko truly couldn't put heads or tails to why her body moved this way, she wasn't one to help other without gain. As she had made her presence known, Kyoko figured she might as well pull her own weight.

Gripping her stick and using it as her wand, Kyoko began to mutter, igniting a spell. Light flashed briefly around her before energy began to seep up from the ground. Surrounding the players in the light, the soul energy seeped into everyone's body, a light glow appearing across their skin as Kyoko's buff increased their stats.

Hearing about Bandits, Mio groaned. In particular the fact that they were chased by four made Mio squint in hopes that everyone was perhaps wrong... maybe they just wanted to talk. When it was quickly proven that their intentions were less then good however, Mio's expression stiffened and all of the rage of her troubled youth came forward in a rush. "Y-You bastards! Do you have any idea how much being late will cost me! Monsters! Animals!--" A long string of vitriolic and colorful curse words began pouring out from her mouth, unrestrained when she realized they were under attack.

Unfortunately the beasts following didn't have any restraint, despite vomiting up so many disparaging words the bandits didn't care. It only seemed to stoke the small fox girl's anger though, huffing a breath as it simmered and boiled over. "Grr.. Fine have it your way-- If you wanna fight so bad we're doing it in my world!" She protested near disgusted by the bandit's selfishness despite herself not being so different at times, when it was her money at risk it was obviously another story.

Hairs gradually standing on end, her fox tail bristled, flicking back and forth until one gradually became two and two became three. Her make up thickened, though subtle before, became thicker black rings around the eyes, dark whiskers along the cheeks. Pointing a hand forward towards the bandit wounded by the previously shot arrows she shouted angrily. "DISAPPEAR!" She would shout, asserting her will on the world around her. The Wounded bandit, still recovering from arrows would gradually become indistinct, as if a time-lapse of a photorealistic drawing was gradually being rewound until they began falling apart into a half bleeding half ink stained mess.

It was taxing, but while she could still control the power of her tails, she reached a hand out to Hayate's shoulder for a brief touch as she spoke. "I-I've never had to draw this much so quickly before, I can't promise how safe you'll be, but it's safer in my world then it is out here." She would try to insist as her allies would gradually be pulled into her artistry, Hayate, Triss and Kyoko's body's losing color until they became 3D drawings, every movement painted by an ethereal tail or hand as they phased into Mio's world between worlds. Though already sweating, she wasn't in much of a condition to protect herself while protecting others in this way. "Try to hurry~" She spoke almost through grit teeth as she tried to keep Imagery and shadow flowing.

An excited whoop escapes Trissayne's control. She's so overcome by the adrenaline pumping through her system and this...simulated danger occurring right in front of her that she doesn't realize that the cart has stopped, a person has joined them, and Mio was drawing them into some...other...world. It's simply too much for her brain to process in a short amount of time. And when one of Mio's arrows knocks a bandit clean off their horse and into the dirt, well, it's like adding fuel to the fire.

It's fun! It's exciting! This is why people played this game, right? This feeling makes her molars ache and her head spin and her mouth dry. This was better than riding roller coasters without seatbelts—not that she knew anything at all about doing something so incredibly stupid.

She doesn't feel fear as the bandits dismount and swarm the cart. Even as a second arrow flies from another bandit, embedding itself into Hayate and the two burly bandits with long scimitars clutched in their scared hands swing at him, she is hyper-aware. One of them misjudges his strike, the blade cutting into her unprotected flesh instead. It's when she sees the blood, those dancing ruby droplets that scatter from the wound and drip onto the cart, onto the tops of the barrels, and stain the tarp red that a fissure of something sneaks into her awareness.

Her eyes glow an eerie green as she commands a single droplet of her blood to pause in mid-air and fly toward the bandit closest to her. He is a middle-aged brute with an eye patch over his right eye, his brown hair askew due to the exertion of running down their cart, and now the battle that lay before him, remnants of a five-o'clock shadow staining his jaw. The tiny blood-bullet slams into his shoulder, pushing back him.

"Dis be easy!!" she says to her comrades, a manic grin spreading across her mouth. "We have a delivery ta be making. No bandits gonna being stopping dat!"

It was...different working with a party, rather than fighting alone. A mixture of different things happened as he struggled to keep up and process what was happening. In his triumph and excitement for his success, he neglected to pay attention to his defenses, leaving himself wide open to an attack from the oncoming bandits. Thankfully the others were watching out for him, someone new stumbled onto the scene releasing a burst of magic that washed over him, strengthening his body. Combined with Mio getting angry over the wasted time, a thought that made him chuckle, as she begun. . .painting? Drawing him and the party into a new world of black and white. A surreal experience as his perspective was warped. The variety of magic in the world of TerraSphere never ceased to amaze him, and he glanced around lost in amazement and wonder.

Though the arrow shot his way by the second of the two bandit archers quickly snapped him back to attention as he was lost in the swirl. Red and pain clouded his vision as his hand snapped to his shoulder with a shout of pain as the arrow embedded itself into him. "FUCK."

Gritting his teeth, he drew and nocked arrow after arrow letting out a grimace and wince of pain with each shot as he let loose a rain upon the asshole that had shot him. The enemy was down to one archer, the party having taken care of the other one. The light slash from one of the melee bandits was barely noticed by him, as he was tunnel visioned on the archer.

The thought of failure or how close to death he was, never crossed his mind. It was just a game after-all, why did he have to worry about that. Plus the party seemed confident. The thought of adding the new girl to the party didn't cross his mind at all sadly. It was Triss that had thought of it to begin with for the first three. He'd get used to being around others eventually.

Everything changed color, expanding and widening before it suddenly flashed, everything turning to black and white. Kyoko was unaffected by the sudden change. Ever since her parents died she saw the world in black and white and nothing seemed to sparkle before her eyes or enlighten her anymore. It wasn't that she couldn't see color, she just couldn't process it.

It wasn't long before the Bandits continued their attack, the people she had randomly joined fighting hard to take them out and protect their goods. Swords being swung and arrows being drawn, lights and magic flashing. Everything seemed to connect and fit together perfectly as the Bandits and players alike fought for their claim on the wagon of goods.

The two players that had been sucked into this strange world with her had been hit. Kyoko couldn't see what their stats were at, but she had to play it safe. If they were to lose this battle, then she would definitely take her first death. She once again ignited her magic, wanting nothing more than to at least keep the player's stats up enough to where she was out of harms way. Using the aid of magic-assist she cast her AoE healing spell, watching as her magic once again seeped into their skin. Particles floating around, their health began to regenerate. Kyoko was protecting them in a thin layer of mana as their health regenerated.

Seeing how injured everyone had gotten from a single salvo, Mio was a bit bitter, there was little she could do to mitigate the damage entirely at this point. Even if she wanted taking every blow with her own body would likely be more dangerous then not. Perhaps if things continued she'd take that chance, but for now she tried to continue her efforts at protecting the group the best she could.

Her arms continued moving, long sweeping gestures to keep the ethereal hands and tails flowing to allow movement and action through the artistic world she'd spread before them. Though that didn't stop her from taking advantage of her ability to manipulate the setting, clawed hands scratching out lines around one injured bandit. She drew out a metal plate, holes in it, shadows leading deeper within. Only when she finished did she pull her hand extended hand back letting the object manifest as long spiked suddenly ejected from the floor running the bandit through from below becoming a trap. "Try to stay safe... I'll keep up the protection as long as I can." She spoke bitterly. trying to keep herself as small as possible so that she wouldn't be noticed despite her efforts.

It isn't a blood bath.

But Trissayne also wouldn't call it a standoff. It was merely...bandits attacking their wagon and trying to take their shit. It was chaos, yes, and the yelp and screams from both sides rose into the air around them like smoke. A part of her brain wondered why others hadn't rushed into to assist them. They weren't that far from the town, were they? Surely the sounds of battle could have drawn others from the settlement?

There is no time to consider and wonder. An arrow from the ranged bandit threads through her companions and sinks itself into the meat of her arm, piercing her bicep clean through. A hiss of discomfort, of throbbing pain, registers as blood begins to flow and her other hand comes up, wraps around the shaft of the arrow, and yanks it free. More throbbing pain.

Thank goodness the pain limiter was set on by default...

She wipes the arrow against the palm of her free hand and the gore lifts, droplet by droplet, into spherical balls that immediately pelt the bandit which had attacked her. Breathing heavily, she casts a quick eye over her companions, realizing, a bit too late, that there was one of them whose HP she couldn't see.

"Ah! I need ta be pulling ya into da party! Easier ta see HP dat way!"

Like a pendulum the battle swung back and forth, his health falling from the slicing cuts of the bandits then surging from the soothing heals of their new companion, only to fall again once more. Something that would've been all the more deadly if not for Mio's protective Ink and painting. A type of magic he still didn't process or understand, but thankfully it wasn't something he needed to. The buffs on the overlay telling him all he needed to know. He was protected and could freely rain down hell on the bandits.

"Got it." he'd call over to Mio, before doing the exact opposite of staying safe. Not that he felt the need, they outnumbered their foes now with two of the bandits having fallen still off their steeds. Both his targets, the ranged bandits leaving them just the Melee ones to deal with. Turning his bow onto the wounded bandit he continued to play turret. Arrow after arrow was loosed into the man's body turning it into a pincushion. What was death? A foreign concept to him, and these were just npcs. He wasn't close to death yet right?

"One left!"

Did that call out draw attention to him? Perhaps, or the damage he had done. Or most likely the open position he left himself in to just freely fire at the bandits, that invited retaliation. But it seemed the two supports didn't want the attention anyways, so he freely welcomed it. That's what the game was about right? Leaving the shadows of life behind, to bask in the glory under the sun.

Kyoko was taken aback by the gusto of Triss as she pulled her into the party. She hadn't expected it to happen as soon as it had, nor for it to happen at all. She had just sort of acted on a whim, upon accepting the party inviti the display of the party-mates status popped up into her field of vision. Taking a moment to grow accustomed to it she watched as more scenes unfolded.

Still everyone was taking hits, including herself. Her reflexes not being quick enough to save herself from being grazed by a Bandit and his sword. Kyoko felt it cut clean across her body, thankful that her pain reduction was on. Kyoko narrowed her eyes, hatred seething into her body.

It was always best to not let your emotions control how you act, so Kyoko did as she did best. She let her hatred dissipate and float away, the emotionless void once again fueling her body and her actions. Kyoko once again sent out her spirit magic. Once again re-enacting the exact same event she had produced prior.

Her healing causing not only Triss and Hayate to heal up their wounds but for Kyoko to hopefully get rid of the wound that the Bandit had caused her before it would scar.
