Herculean would dig into the bluebird and discover she had survived the Marton attack. He had caught glimpses of her healing and hearing her sing which herculean heard. Opening his plan and typing in her user name, While it was a shot in the dark he wasn't sure if she would even show up.

Herculean Drakeson

Uh sorry, miss @Bluebird I am herculean and I have been here to check on you since the Marton attack. I also have an exciting Proposal for you if you are interested. I am in astoera at solvale I am hard to miss and will be in the area all day so I hope I hear from you soon.

As much he hoped to hear from her he would find himself deep in thought for a moment. Stroking his chin for a moment trying to figure out what is coming next. If recurring jin went well he would have to scope out more people for this group, There wasn't a name quite yet just an idea. Seven warriors including him would try their best not to overstep the boundaries that weren't the other factions. Part of him wasn't even sure things wouldn't align well but he had to try.

When Bluebird saw the message, she was puzzled. She... vaguely recalled the person known as Herculean, as someone among the Explorers who had been... well.

She shook off the thought.

That he wanted to speak was surprising, though. What could it be that he wanted with her? She couldn't imagine that there was much she could provide to a man who had stood so firm against the swarm.

...but, well. Ruby had still not logged in since then, or at least she had not responded to her messages. With nothing else to do in the game, she saw no reason not to at least speak with him.

Mail

I will listen to your proposal. I shall seek you out shortly.

Even among the numerous Travelers in the area, it didn't take long for Bluebird to find Herculean. Flight, no matter how brief, gave her quite the advantage when it came to looking for others, and the large man was distinctive in his own right.

She landed some distance away, of course - there was no reason to surprise him by dropping next to him. Soon, she was before Herculean, expression carefully neutral as she looked up at the towering man.

...Herculean, was it? You wished to speak with me?

She interrupted his thought while he was trying to find a solid name for the group. Removing the hood of his cloak he would nod as she greeted him. It was true she was alright no scars or anything." The Marton attack really changed a lot of things. Let me ask before we get into business how have you been since then? I've been checking on survivors when I get the chance.". He would pause for a moment turning to look at the lake longingly for a moment." Shane died during the attack and so did eight others, They died defending us, and somehow I feel bad about being here." It hadn't really landed with him about how deep this scar went. He wasn't here to have therapy so he would have to dwell on this emotion later. Turning to face her with a sudden smile. The sudden change in mood was breakneck sure but deals weren't made on being a depressed lump.

It was back to business as they say as he least explain what he intended for her."Right now i am working on jin to join the group. I want to avoid trying to get as the bigger factions but I want to help the people that matter."Herculean would have a face of hope in his head at least his dreams were to help travelers on a smaller scale. Even travelers needed help and if they could save one person it would be enough for him at least. As a question passed on to him he would ask bluebird the same thing jin asked him."We survived the Marton miss @Bluebird for a reason. I believe you have something that can help the group I have in mind. I But before you consider joining I'd like to ask are you afraid not to die?" This question seemed harsh but they would mostly be put in situations where they face grim odds to save people and travelers alike."Seven warriors that bring all of kinds abilities and skills to the table. We would work together and take jobs that saved villages, and travelers and save lives." Now the ball was in her court and he was interested in how she would react to everything he said.

Bluebird listened politely as Herculean spoke of the fight with the Matron. The fight that had felled quite a few travelers, particularly among the Explorers. A painful truth of such battles in games like these, it seemed - it was only fortunate that they could come back.

Except for the one called Shane, who apparently would not. She understood that there were those who were... "native" to this world, who were not players the way she was... but she had yet to hear why Shane was so different to be notable.

So you are hoping to make your own organization, then? A band of heroes to help the weak?

She tilted her head, wings folded back. It was an interesting proposal - one that could take her across the land just as the Explorers would. Was it a case of split loyalties? But this man had been with them when they had braved the jungle, so he would probably understand...

...I must say, I am surprised you approached me. I am no warrior, not in the way you are. And while I do not fear death, I am not so foolish as to seek it out without reason.

She put her hands behind her back, wings fluttering as she looked seriously up at Herculean.

So tell me this - for what reason did you seek me out? I would like to know this before I make any sort of commitment.

Her questions seemed logical enough that messaging a random person to join an org they've never heard of was a lot for most people. This wasn't an anime and people tend to be very cautious when things hit the fan."Well if I can level with you I don't want to step on the toes of the big Four traveler factions. We would operate on a more personal level without a bureaucratic heavy hand. We would be approached with jobs and we would do them it's pretty straightforward."She was surely very much very observant and elegant so he had to keep up wits with her. Keeping going with his earlier statement as he paced back and forth." Everyone I get on this team has a purpose I've done my research. I do believe in fate we both lived to change the fates of other travelers."His face would grow very serious much like hers as he would meet her gaze with equaling feelings.

"I went out of my way to find you because we have the making of true heroes. That question I asked was passed on to me by a traveler named jin. I don't know where you stand but not only would you face death alone but with seven people. People with extraordinary abilities like your own of course."He would approach her with a slight smile."I don't expect you to say yes immediately of course but I more or less watched nine travelers die a fate worse than to save us all. Even if I can save one more person or a village I am not wasting the moments they gave us miss the blue bird. This is why I hired you and this is why I am putting this team together of course. He would stop finish off his speech with a friendly nod and big toothy grin.

Bluebird hummed thoughtfully. And if her hands twitched behind her back, weaving the bits of magic to infuse said humming with patience, well, Herculean didn't need to know.

Seven warriors, would-be heroes travelling the land... it seems you are seeking to weave a story, then. Interesting!

An auspicious number, a noble goal... something that would never last in reality, but here in this world of myths and heroes, Herculean had a very real chance of making it work.

There was indeed quite a bit of death, but... they rose again, soon after. Things are quite different here in this land, after all. Yet I cannot blame those who wish to avoid its sting. Such terror is natural, after all.

...not so much for Bluebird, though. For better or worse, such fear had been burned from her soul at a young age. She tilted her head back and forth as if she was physically rolling the thought from side to side, then clapped her hands with a nod and a smile.

Consider me interested, Herculean! I will see where this endeavor leads - though I am still an Explorer, there is still reason to care for those within the boundaries of civilization.

She would mention being an explorer which he had recently signed up as well. He would put an arm over with a smile pulling her in close in camaraderie."Welcome to the Strangers of paradise once I get the others you meet them. But let us relax a bit and kinda get to know each other as I also recently joined the explorer myself I am interested to see what"The short celebration would end as he pulled his arm around her and sat down for a moment. All this traveling had made him tired but his journey wasn't over yet. Lay down on the ground again looking at the sky as he would sit up looking @Bluebird with a smile.

"So if I could inquire about your past and how much you've been playing. Also, I have to ask what is it like to fly like a bird. You know in real life it's hard to imagine ya know i am always walking around. Though tereosphere is a very uniquely beautiful place.' He would close his eyes as the wind picked up it was an odd feeling. Terrrosphere was and will continue one of the most surreal things but one he would enjoy. His real life was hard work always annoyed him. Things were coming together slowly with the group and it was actually kinda nice to see a plan come together.

Bluebird stiffed as Herculean draped an arm over her shoulder. A part of her mind began to mutter, freeze-appease-accept, but... she didn't have to worry about that here, did she? She slowly lifted a hand and pushed away Herculean's arm

...please, do not touch me without asking, if you could.

The moment of darkness passed, however, and once she had made some space she smiled once more.

I have not been playing long - perhaps a month, now. Though it has felt much shorter than that, considering how eventful that month has been.

It had certainly added something new to her routine - something to break up those stretches of time where she had no scheduled events or appointments. A break from a world that, despite its frantic pace, seemed to drag on day after day, and one she was loathe to speak of. Fortunately, Herculean had asked a more interesting question.

Oh, flying! It is... quite astounding, truly. Though I cannot truly soar as a bird does, even those brief moments between leaps is a freedom I never thought I would experience. Even the fear of falling seems unable to touch me up there.

She clapped her hands together, wings fluttering with her cheer - though the thought of Ruby's absence stirred once more at the back of her mind. She would simply have to learn to catch herself, now.

And when we fought the Matron, and I was able to fly beyond what my breath allowed! It exhausted me so, but I would soon do it again, if the time came.

...and what of you, Herculean? You seem quite confident in your mastery of this game. Having stood against the matron despite everything... it was quite brave.

He would rub the back of his head in cliche anime fashion"Oh sorry about touching you without permission not trying to be weird or nothing" She had been playing only a month and it was impressive. He had seen so many different builds it was wild. He thought about investing into flying at some point but walking was nice at times. He'd camp every now and then between the long journeys. The sound of a crackling fire and cooking meat made it seem so real.

Bluebird would explain her experience with flying which seemed about right. Flying in most games jada huge advantages and disadvantages. While someone herculeans size wouldn't be someone that would fly. He would nodded solemnly looking at his arms. They were bandaged up because of insects that tore flesh off his body. His body had healed by he could still the holes in with his eyes his body shook."
Well fighting the matron was an eye opening experience. I had turned off my pain limtors off and i will keep them off. Since that fight really opened my eyes to you learn to fight. I've been armimg up and training with my playful night. So next time i am going be prepared for this next one.I've picked up holy magic and upgrading skills so next time i wont lose"Bravey was only one aspect but training was necessary to survive in terroshpere."What about you miss blue bird? i have you been interested in trying to learn ranged weapons? I feel like flying and ranged weapons would go well together.

Bluebird glanced down at Herculean's arms. She imagined he'd already received all the healing that would be effective by now - it was just down to natural recovery to finish it. Still, it made her shiver to imagine what she had narrowly avoided...

Ah, I have... not have the pain limiters on since I began. I'm not a fan of the way they manipulate your movements. And in the end, the pain is not intolerable.

Physical pain was simple, especially when magic could soothe it away.

As for weaponry... I am not particularly fond of it. But I do possess magic of a more aggressive nature. I have not had much practice, but the wind can do more than carry me through the sky.

She turned, eyes searching for a safe target. A nearby tree seemed suitable, and she narrowed her eyes as she raised one hand. With a sharp whistle she made a slashing motion, sending a shimmering blade of wind shooting through the branches. A few of them fell to the ground, neatly sliced away by the spell.

I imagine there are other things I could do, but I haven not had much practice. More often than not, I find supporting others is a better use of my skills...

She mention something about weapons and the pullback of his cloak would reveal the start of a collection of weapons. Using his magic he was able to create a space with a single hanging weapon his playful cloud. Grabbing it and pulling the entire weapon length-wise, The three chained weapon staff that was created just for herculean. It was the pinnacle design for something for his build the weapon would be actually very heavy for those who didn't have the crush mastery.

"Thanks too acrcanmancy I am able to copy weapons but this weapon I got through the red fever event. I was able to use a tag to give it dark magic, But maybe I can eventually enchant it with holy magic. The playful night is a very useful tool and fairly unique in a way. Once I truly master this weapon I'll be pretty hard to beat. Er i didn't mean anything by my comment miss bluebird supports are true heroes in MMO. Take it from a guy who has pain dampeners turned off your healing is welcome.

She was pretty accurate with that ranged slash and he would smile and cheer her on. She had great potential and between the both of them, he would work with her to become great.

Bluebird smiled, looking a little embarrassed by Herculean's cheer. Using the Slicer spell still made her stomach flutter a little, but it was exactly the sort of power she would need to do well with this party, right?

Well, I hope that I will be able to help on all fronts in your group! With enough practice, I'm sure I'll be able to fight as well as anyone else when the time comes.

She opened up her menu and began to navigate it, opening up the friends list. She froze a moment as she saw Ruby's name, then shook her head. She needed to make more friends, after all - she couldn't cling to a single person all her life. She knew how dangerous that could be.

I hope you do not mind me sending you a friend request, Herculean! It will make it easier to get into contact in the future, especially if we are planning to work together!

A few taps, and she sent out the message, then looked up at Herculean with a smile.

Herculean had mentally checked out when the moment had paused. Not because the conversation was boring or anything but his mind naturally wandered. A ping lit up his hud as he got brought back to reality. Opening his palm and accepting the friend request.

"Don't worry we aren't really pushing ourselves to elite heroes, We are the party of the people so to speak the other big four can be the elites. This may be a game to us miss blue bird but non-travelers still live in this world. Plus I figure if this really is a game then if and when we hit top-level builds don't matter. He would do thinking pose recalling in real knowledge of the causal MMO experience. Most companies invest heavily in late with raids with high-tier rewards. Strange though could this be a living world in its only little place? Herculean mind would start to hurt in real life like he was asking something he shouldn't be.

Before he would reply @Crimson Ruby message would light up his hub. He would smile as he turned to @Bluebird with a nod."
Miss ruby massaged me I should be going till next time miss blue bird. I'll keep in touch and I may have a long walk ahead of him. Putting up a hood to keep his cloak over his head."Giving her a finally good bye he hastely made is way to the place to meet crimson ruby

Bluebird nodded, and closed her hand.

Thank you. I look forward to speaking with you again, Herculean.

It was an unnerving leap to make - to tie herself into a organization she knew so little about. How many things could go wrong? How could it be twisted against her, or turned into a trap? She had power here, but there were those with more, those she'd seen in the fight against the matron.

She shook her head and fingered the soft material of her starry bracelet. She was spiraling again. She took a deep breath and smiled.

I understand, Herculean - you must be busy, putting all of this together. Safe travels!

She waved as he left, then lowered her hand with a frown. She narrowed her eyes, fingers still working the fabric of the ribbon.

...he had said he was speaking with a "Ruby". Was that the same Ruby...?

...no. It couldn't be.

Bluebird pointedly didn't check her friends list as she logged out.
