Chilling with friends.

With their goal achieved, Ayna joined the rest of her friends for some much-needed rest and relaxation on the Imperial Petunia. Although it was much bigger than her sometimes fishing, other times pirate ship, the purple-haired Beastfolk still felt at home, familiar, with this sea vessel. Despite her rather antagonistic attitude towards @Chrys, she savored the few moments they all had together with him and actually felt a little sad when he had to go and join the others at the kitchens. She had hated him when she thought @Kamala Graham had perished for good, but she realized that she was looking for someone else to blame. Afterward, they had easily mended their fences, even though they never actually burned any bridges between them.

"Well, there he goes, once again prioritizing money over his friends. What a douche."

Heaving a sigh, she tried her best to focus instead on the positives of the night, which was mostly that she was now caught between two hot ladies. Ayna likes. Ayna loves. No other victory would taste any sweeter for her. She turned to Kamala and @Samantha Yurei with a wide grin on her face before putting her arms around their shoulders to draw them closer to her.

"But now I have the both of you all to myself! Best summer ever!"

Definitely, one she would remember!

[Crimson Ruby]

It was a chaotic experience to go through all of this, and while Ruby had hesitated at first, she could say it was worth it. Espefially when she was able to spend some time with @Fina Drago, insisting to linger it a bit more.

"Hey-" Ruby nudged the other felis whenever she was able to meet her.

"That thing with the kraken? It was too dangerous." Ruby said with a faint scolding tone, wrapping her tail around Fina's and tugging.

"But I guess that's part of our little adventure. It wasn't a bad start, I'd say." She admitted, looking up at the fireworks that made the sky shine in a chromatic show off.

a bit of this, a dash of that, the mage has broken iout her skills as an alchemist, hoping to make enough fireworks to dazzle everyone. She is focused and doesnt realize when she smears some glowing goo on her face.

[Imoogi]

Imoogi wouldn't say her specialty was explosives, but after helping Steph make the flare, she still had extra materials. Besides, practicing explosives could be useful. Who knew what she could do if she mixed venom into a bomb.

(Not that she would mix venom into these bombs. Not with everyone watching.)

It wasn't long until she had some fireworks - not the sort that would fly through the sky, but as she tossed them into the water they sputtered and danced across the surface like violent bath-bombs, leaving trails of colorful sparks in their wake.

[Ilusa Nakhalee]

Ilusa felt relief flood her body; they won. Astorea's treasury was safe.

The end result, the grand reunion between the quiet talking lady and the loud old pirate was none of her concern. If maybe aside feeling a slight hint of wistfulness at seeing lovers reunited.

And then there was time for a party; something they did deserve for this wild adventure and they would eat some delicacies it seemed. The felis looked around pondering where to help. Cooking did not call out for her, the fireworks however were something she was eager to try.

She glanced at the sky; completely cloudless and a canvas to create fireworks. She came to the group that worked on them checking for a moment the fireworks created by a girl with a unicorn floater (@Ronja Bubblyfoot ), one dressed in a blue sundress (@Ariweyn Laundale ) and a blackhaired girl in simple black two-piece suit (@Imoogi ).

Then, it was her turn.

It was bit too mundane to use Divine Magic for it, instead it was just the right scene to use her Illusion Magic which she only started to work on.

With gentle smile, she focused, raised her hands and then spread them and waves them. With each movement, sparkling lights and stars fired off from her fingers and palms, glimmering in various colours before 'exploding' and dimming. The explosions were silent, only visual.

[Hyakin Heliodoros]

"Marvellous! Wonderful! Glorious! Perfect ending! Yesss!!! Reunion of lovers after cruel world pulled them apart! How touching." Hyakin's eyes gleamed with excitement at the perfect resolution. They won the challenge. The Venerable Lady immediately met with a Man Dear to Her Heart, who clearly cared much about her too.

And there would be a party. With party, it was time to help with it!

Hyakin immediately zoomed onto the food preparation. Because food in Terrasphere was amazing and so much better than in real life and creating food was such amazing, absolutely astonishing fun.

And he could share the results with people.

"...I shall prepare food." And he ran towards the kitchen where he immediately grabbed a knife, fish and using the knowledge gained from that tutoring, started to prepare the food.

[Cidney Cometfall]

When Cidney came to party away with @Jester and @Ronja Bubblyfoot and @Luthien and even the newly-joined @Harper , she had done so with plates in her hands. Some of them she settled down on the nearest surface that could hold them, while another she cleaned off before setting down. She'd taken the time to grill up something nice for the group after all of the hard work they'd gone through.

It was... alright. It had that nice homemade taste, which well made up for how she burnt the meat a bit so long as that was a kind of taste that you enjoyed.

Cidney found the wild dancing to be unfamiliar, though fun all the same. She was used to parties that involved drinking, sitting around and talking to others. Clubbing was a field she had woefully underprepared herself in, and it showed.

From time to time, though, she would pause the wacky dancing to invite one of the girls to a formal tango and waltz. At times like these the blue-collar girl would show how impressive she could be at a dance she was familiar with. She always took the lead, never showing embarrassment... not even if she had a few toes stepped upon. It seemed like the rough girl full of scars had formal lessons on the subject.

Perhaps, in the other world, she was a delicate young woman who acted as nobles do? Or perhaps she was just a man with ballroom experience, based on how confidently she led the dance. Cidney was not delicate, but she had no problems with letting other people think that. It was a cute image that she would be more than happy to wear.

It was one thing to prepare meals in the familiarity of her home, with utensils that Nao had long since become accustomed to work with... and also with stable footing. After all her home didn't rock back and forth while she worked, something the Petunia did as the waves constantly crashed against the hull of the ship.

Brutus was off somewhere helping with fireworks, and the Lepus had lost sight of @Askera Question by then, so Toko figured she might as well give cooking another go—her previous botched attempt barely saved as she camouflaged it into a seafood salad.

[Askera Question]

Today had been a long and productive day. Research was had, though he had the feeling that revisits to this vast ocean would be nessecary to find even more data hidden beneath the surface. Now he lie on the wood of the ship's deck as the sights of his hard work paid off.

Moments ago he had been working on the fireworks. A little bit of methane was something that he always had on-person, and so fireworks were always on his crafting list. He spent the time helping around the launcher while he was drying off from his drip in the ocean.

It had been a good day. Askera was happy. It took a trip like this to remind him that, though magic had lost its' luster, he was still more than able to find joy in the little things of life just as always.

"Yeah, it was a pretty fun day~"

The blonde nodded in agreement to @Jester's statement, before watching as teh fellow elf decided to perform a little luau dance in celebration. Soon the others were getting invited to join in, the request doubled when @Ronja Bubblyfoot also echoed it, and the ranger couldn't help but chuckle softly at the sight of the girls.

Lúthien herself had stood back at first, joining @Cidney Cometfall as the Magia had brought plates filled with delicious goodies towards the group. After all that swimming and going nuclear agains tthe raiders the elf had certainly developed an appetite.

Eventually Lúthien joined into the dance, first mimicing Jester's motions for the luau and later on getting a couple of tango and waltz lessons from Cidney herself. She found all dances incredily interesting, and after some time getting the basics down the elf felt confident to try and match her movements with the water show she was helping create.

"C'mon @Harper, join us~!"

[Harper]

Well, it was over. And Harper had lost.

She couldn't deny that it did hurt her ego, as would any competition she'd lose. But given that this was more of an internal thing between the girls, and they did beat the pirates in the overall fishing competition, it didn't hurt as much. Still, the beastkin was already making plans to learn how to better fish, juuuuust in case another one of these ever happened in the close future.

"Yeah yeah, you got one on me. This time. Next time I'll wipe the floor with you all, hmph." The tigress would state with a defiant smirk, before deciding to loosen up and relax with everyone for once. The best way to ensure she was going to win next time was to keep her body in top-notch condition, and what better way to do this than to partaaaay!

As the fireworks roared on, Harper would take @Jester 's invitation alongside @Ronja Bubblyfoot and @Luthien to learn how to luau. Maybe she couldn't get her revenge on Jester just yet, but she could at least be satisfied in learning faster than anyone else who tried! It was also just pretty fun to dance around, so the beastkin happily let her hips go wild to anyone caring to see.

After a good bit of luau'ing, she'd eventually be invited by @Cidney Cometfall to learn a different kind of dance. The silver-and-black-haired girl seemed like an acquaintance of Ronja and her friends, yet Harper hadn't been quite introduced to her yet. Given her company, Harper figured that, if anything, she was at least a nice person, and decided to take her invitation.

The tigress was a fast learner, if not a bit too eager to show it. Still, the two did quickly get into a good flow, and the beastkin would extend a hand to her once they were finished. "Didn't catch your name, I fear. Name's Harper. You are?" She'd ask while eating from a plate Cidney brought, the girl letting out a satisfied smile as she glanced at the others.

She hadn't won today, but the future held many battles. Moments like this, however, were not so numerous. As such, Harper decided to happily enjoy the rest of the night, a martini in her clawed hand.

[Ariweyn Laundale]

she will set up several large mortars, each one enchanted using all of her magic to provide a stunning display (result of the 92 from the last roll). Constellations and stars become visible and dance in the sparks, each one vibrant and lively thanks to Ariweyn. She sits and begins making small fireworks to entertain more people who may not want to see the stars. She winds up making a few lotus shaped floats that spew out a few sparks, making them spin

[Brutus Dahlgren]

It appeared the fireworks were popping the fuck off, something about the long amount of time had spent submerged in water and his lack of canon was keeping him from popping off to his truly highest caliber. He would launch a couple more blasts off with his hands, tutting slightly as the blasts failed to really pop off like he wanted them too.

Sweating, he would shrug off his floral print shirt and lift his tanktop to dab sweat from his glistening brow. He would take a break and go check up on @Toko as she was cooking. It took some time for him to find her, the crowd being large and it being a big ole boat, but when he did he would shoot her a Cheshire like smile and watch he cook.

"Did you have a good time today?"

Having eaten her fill of most things, Cynna decided that what she hadn't had yet was some fried fish. And so, Cynna tried her hand at the grill while her poppets lazed about exhausted on the beach, just happy to be alive... or as alive as a soul stuffed in a doll could be. But hey, take the W. There were even some new recruits among the number.

Maybe I can take extended leave...

Cynna thought a little shamelessly as she munched on her awful cooking.

[Haru]

The sound of partying and fireworks awoke the sleeping sage. He could see so plainly in the distance how all of those young explorers were having fun. It was a calming sight to a sore heart. Unfortunately, Haru was drifting away and had no intention of changing the flow of the tide. It was merciful enough that the nature of the tide was kind to him where the nature of forests was not.

Instead, he decided to give the wonderful crews of the fading ships a beautiful show of dancing water as he departed on the sea. Wherever he would go was anyone's guess, but he would have fun all the way.

End of a dream

Kamala couldn't help but chuckle at @Ayna Nietzsche before she turning to @Samantha Yurei who had also found herself within the purple-haired Beastfolk's clutches. Her first friend's antics were always funny to her, but she hoped it didn't make Samantha feel uncomfortable. After all, different strokes for different folks. She gave her a playful slap on the cheek, which was actually more like a hand carefully finding its way to her face, nothing violent, much friendlier, as she chuckled some more.

"Oh, you! Don't be too hard on @Chrys! He's doing his best."

She had watched him leave, though a sliver of excitement came over her, more dominant than any twinge or pang of sadness at his departure. Kamala had tasted his food. If anything, it would be a tasty experience. She had always been proud of her friends, all of them talented in different ways. Kamala could only hope to one day reach their level, achieve their expectations. For now, she was more focused in giving everyone a good time.

"But if you girls will excuse me for a bit... I actually have a surprise for everyone."

She gave them both a final wink and made her way towards the fireworks before using her magic to bolster and enhance the aesthetics of the display. Kamala tried to be as creative as she could be, resorting to the usual tantalizing visuals of bright lights and the light formations that people often took delight in. She tried her best to focus on the good things, their well-deserved victory and this much-needed celebration, but there was still the part of her haunted by those monsters from the expedition, the insects that had devoured her. Every now and then, their ghosts found their way into her attempts, a surprising and unexpected sight for sure.

[Fina Drago]

What end to this adventure would this be if it were spent alone. Not long after she had fished out just about everything she could, @Crimson Ruby managed to find her again. Even though the other feline did not seem all that interested in the competition itself, Fina was just happy to still see her here.

"Yeah... I suppose it was. Things never feel that dangerous with so many people around." It honestly felt more fun than anything, at least until the ship was torn apart. A spice of danger to their otherwise harmless adventure.

As Ruby sat down, Fina would lightly lean against her as well. The fireworks made for a wonderful finale. And, overall, today was very successful despite it all being so new to the girl. A truly wonderful summer adventure.

Steph leaned against the railing on the third deck, overlooking the group that had ended up going on the exciting trip with her with a big smile on her face. Even though she had to expend one of her rarest gacha cards, the end result was worth it, and she would have done it again if she had to. After all, things are temporary, while the bonds one makes on one's journey will last a lifetime if properly maintained.

Steph happily grabbed some of the food the homemakers made and were being served by the butler-looking Knight (@Hyakin Heliodoros). However, with such a large selection to choose from, with the likes made by @Toko @Chrys @Hyakin Heliodoros @Cidney Cometfall and @Cynna, the redhead struggled. She ended up going with @Toko's dish since it stood out and steered clear of @Cynna's.

While she munched on the scrumptious morsels as she watched @Ilusa Nakhalee's brilliant firework and @Haru's expert water show. Though theirs were the ones that stood out the most, the firework show put on by everyone else in combination turned it into something even more breathtaking with ones launched by @Kamala Graham @Brutus Dahlgren @Ariweyn Laundale @Askera Question @Imoogi and @Ronja Bubblyfoot. The firework was even better with a water show put on by @Luthien @Charlotte Ann Marie and @Haru.

Thanks to you all, Astorea doesn't owe the pirate an insane amount of gold, the Marchioness got her wish fulfilled, and we got a fun trip out of it!
