There was certain chaos after Ilusa came back to the Imperial Petunia to deposit her catch; only to have the slippery thing slip from her hands and slap another fish and they both tumbled down onto water. Her ears flickered and she glanced around, making a small relieved exhale that no one saw her blunder.
And then came kraken. Actual, honest to gods kraken.
No, Ilusa was fine staying away from the tentacles of an untragetable monster. This also made it so that she did not try to get another go at getting the fishes.
She winced as the huge beast wrapped its limbs around the raider's ship and then
squeezed. As a healer, she went with the redheaded gremlin and helped haul the soaked men and women onto the ship… and into the cells.
When she came back on the deck, everyone was getting the snorkelling equipment and Ilusa.. Ilusa joined them. Because it was something that she could later regale Astor about, once he gets more free time.
The Reef was actually far more relaxing than she expected and it looked like a reef. Like a coral reef, a sprawling underwater ecosystem of wondrous creatures that, surprisingly did not look that odd. ...Which was rather indicative of how bizarre the real-life coral reef aquatic life was.
Yes, even that odd rainbow coloured wiggly thing that wrapped itself around her leg and was not letting go!
