The tigress would throw out muffled curses at no one in particular, trying her best to pick up the pace as she swam through the sea. It wasn't the easiest task, especially given that maintaining a constant breathing rhythm with your mouth filled with fish was quite complicated, the beastkin starting to feel herself tire out from the constant effort she had been putting in ever since they started this raid.
Thankfully, it seemed like the other people on the boat were trying to lure the Kraken somewhere else, which did help with things. Harper would continue to swim through the space between the two boats, trying to keep her pace steady even if she had to slow down due to her starting to run on empty. Still, the dead fish in her mouth leaking blood and other fluids worried the tigress. She didn't know how a Kraken really worked, but could only hope they couldn't follow the scent of blood in the water.
Taking a deep breath for one last time with her nose, she'd dive underwater to make the final stretch, hoping to avoid any fire from sea raiders or her own teammates in the chaos. When she did reach the boat, all Harper wanted to do was to take a breather for a few moments. At this point, she figured that she deserved it.
"Hey Jim, we dead yet?"
"Can't feel my legs, wait I don't got legs~"
"Holy hell we're alive~!"
(The three, looking like penguins had unintentionally attracted the Kraken to the ship and were unceremonially grabbed)
"""AHHHHHHH!"""
Meanwhile, seeing her rod slide across the deck to her amidst all the chaos from her seat at the hibachi bar, Cynna looked down at the hook to see a strip of material looking like a bit like a handkerchief.
"oh..."
Swapping positions, with one of her summons using shadow arts, Cynna found herself on the raider ship. looking at about waist-level she quickly found who she was looking for. Cynna called out to him.
(@Hanno Futaba) "Uhhh~ hey~ Coppertone~ emphasis on the toned there~ here you can have my t-shirt, maybe tie it around your waist or something~ yeahhhhh~ m-my bad..."
As Tenshi quickly caught a couple of fish to throw in her inventory, she turned to wave over at Sai with a grin to brag about her catch. The grin quickly faded as she couldn't seem to find him anywhere though, and she started swimming back.
After looking around for a while and not finding him, a worrysome thought crossed her mind. What if he was underwater? Just before she could dive under, she spotted a familiar wolf ear poking out of the water. "SAI!" She hauled it through the water back over to her partner in crime and dove under.
Each of her massive claws began to shred through the kraken's tentacle in the hope of getting it to let go of Sai. She could get that outfit later, but she knew what pain in this game could be like, and she had vowed from day one not to let @Sai feel the worst of it. First thing when he was free, she dragged him up above the water to breathe and continued to attack it.

The Hare would handily harry the handsy hombre heckler with ease, allowing the lion to drop to the deck with all the grace of a ham. Once free Brutus would assess the situation, his face growing pale. "What the fuck guys?!" He would roar out as the endangered ship was being srnt headlong to the rival pirate ship, Kraken and all.
"These are landers you're endangering! They're not gonna wake up in a church spooked with a story! They're going down to drink and staying there!"
He would make sure @Toko didn't end up the subject of a doujin before getting back to work keeping his eyes on the prize and teying to cop more fish. If this ship was going to go down he'd want salvage all he could, fishing out trout and sailor alike.

"I'll try, my friend! but I'm not too good at this version of my magic yet! I'm here though, so I'll try!"
she ties her hat down to her head, trying to keep it from flying away as she continues to channel the magic she started. Ariweyn looks a bit tired though, perhaps she needs to eat something too.

Kamala yelped at the sight of the kraken, warning her friends, even though they all probably saw it at the same time, too. She even pointed at it while taking care of @Chrys' FISHING rod and picking up her own. Kamala began to put her body between the ocean and the Basseals, even though they probably would be much safer in the waters, swimming away from the ships and using them as a distraction to flee safely. Unfortunately, Kamala wasn't that smart, and she just wanted to protect the cutie patooties closest to her. Instead, she tried her best to cheer on the others, especially her friends (@Ayna Nietzsche & @Samantha Yurei) as they did their thing.
"Be careful, everyone! Stay safe! Do your best! We believe in you! Me and the basseals! Do it for the basseals!"
Ruby grabbed the fish that @Fina Drago tossed to her, looking at the other felis girl with a worried expression. "Be... Be careful with it, Fina!" She said, holding the fishes and holding her breath for a moment. Was it really safe to lure a Kraken like that? Ruby sure didn't like the idea, but it was too late to stop the other right now.
Instead, Ruby decided to go and try to help with the plundering before the giant octopus decided to come for the ship and made the whole idea of plundering impossible, and escaping became way too dangerous.
Using her dynamism, Ruby erupted in speed, darting around the boat and trying to snatch as many fishes as she could before she hurried to jump off the water, diving into the sea.
At first, she considered avoiding the Kraken completely, but as soon as she noticed a tentacle wrapping around another beastfolk girl, she clenched her fists and activated her dynamism again, boosting her toward the tentacle and slashing it with her free hand, using her own claws.
To stumble upon such a thing so early into her adventure in TerraSphere, maybe the girl was exceptionally lucky? Or unlucky, depending on the view. After all, she was barely able to do anything this entire trip. Hidden in the background, as everyone was having fun, she struggled to catch anything. She was only just grasping how this game worked, so perhaps it was only natural. Still, frustration was slowly building up inside of her as a result. Frankly, the pirate bunch they were supposed to be going after seemed much more fun than the pruny old lady and her side-kick, who were presumably willing to do anything to win.
At the very least, the fox girl tried to sneak onto one of the raider ships to steal and take a few fish, as was suggested. Though she seriously considered just going ahead and donating it to the pirates in secret once the two factions would meet again.
The one unfortunate thing was that was that, once again, she wasn't quite able to do as she wanted to. Her ship only just barely got to the side of the larger vessel before a giant tentacle wrapped around it, and with a swift yank, both it and the girl were underwater. Before she could even yell for help, the slimy limb was coiling around her and dragging her along with where everyone else was going. What a summer adventure.
As your group was in a panic over the sudden introduction of a grown-ass Kraken while they attempted some thievery at Stephanie's behest, many of them opted to take the nuclear option and tried to shift the Kraken's attention onto your rival, the pirates. Somewhere along the way, the plan went awry, and it led to all sorts of ruckuses to lure the Kraken to the Sea Raiders' ship instead while a few of your group continued to plunder the rare fish from the Raider's hold.
After the Kraken's attention had shifted, it hurled any suckers attached to its suckers away before it retracted its limp into the water. Those aboard the Imperial Petunia would have seen a dark silhouette disappear momentarily before it appeared beneath the Raiders' ship.
@Cynna@Fina Drago@Hanno Futaba@Ayna Nietzsche@Luthien@Toko@Jester@Celestine@Moonsong@Imoogi, if any of you were still on the Raiders' ship at that time, you would have seen the Kraken's limbs violently emerged from the sea and surrounded the Raiders' ship. There would have been a brief window to make your escape before the tentacles wrapped around the ship and gave it a tight death embrace as it slowly pulled the vessel downward.
Many among the Sea Raiders panicked as the ship began to sink with the Kraken. The smart ones immediately abandoned the ship while the greedy ones remained aboard, looking to hoard some of the treasure before they jumped. Their gambit didn't pay off, however, and they would have made a nice snack for the sea terror.
While the Kraken was preoccupied with its prey, Steph had the crew pull up near the wreckage and rescue as many of the bait and stranded Sea Raiders as she could. It went without saying that she and the crew threw the Raiders into the jail cells at the bottom of the Petunia.
Steph wiped away the sweat from her brows, relieved that they had managed to avert disaster at the last second.
Seeing that the difficulty of the plundering and having to wrestle with the Kraken had brought morale down, she reached into her bag and pulled out a glowing prismatic card. It seemed rare. The redhead glanced longingly at it for at least a minute before she shuffled it into a prismatic bag, drew the string together, and gave it a good shake before she opened it once more.
@Luthien, it seemed like Steph was in a hurry since even though she had… reservations about you, she rushed to your side and presented you with the bag.
This is my special ability, there are cards that spawn all over the world for me to find. Some cards materialize from my friendship with others.
The golden card I shuffled into the bag earlier is called the Seeker Arrow of Sagittarius
, and if it's pulled, it will guide us to where we want. It could point us to where we can gather fish more easily. It's our only hope left to win over the pirates without flat-out trampling on the spirit of the competition.
The catch is that we only have one shot since every time I shuffle a rare card into the bag, I only have one pull, and the bag will go on a cooldown for the next 24 hours. So uh… The fate of our competition rest in your hand…!
Luthien obliged (at @RizuChan's discretion) and reached inside, pulling out a…?

In Luthien's hand was a prismatic card with a centaur archer drawing his bow. It glowed with a prismatic radiance, unlike anything the elf might have seen in the game up until then.
The card disintegrated as a celestial centaur manifested in thin air, drawing its bow and loose an arrow toward the horizon.
Steph quickly ran toward the head of the ship and pointed at the trail of prismatic light.
OOOAH! Y-you did it! It's the legendary pull!!!
We need to follow that light, stat!!!
The ship headed out at Steph's command, chasing after the fading light.
After an hour of travel, the Petunia arrived at a gargantuan corral reef out in the middle of the sea, one abundant with sea life of all different types.
OOOAH! BLARUGHA! It's a fish haven!!! Everyone! Put on your snorkeling gear! You know what to do!

"Hmm? You wish me to come with, little friend?" It would seem the Basseal she had fed earlier had taken somewhat of a liking to the elf, having stuck nearby throughout the situation with the Kraken. At present, it dove underneath the water and resurfaced again, repeating the sequence with a pointed look at her each time it came back.
"But I don't know how to swim." She shrugged and leaned down, reaching downwards to try and pet her newfound pet, only to find it latching onto her arm and start trying to drag her out.
"Wait, what are you doing? W-Wait! I said-..!!"
Before she could scream, she had already been dragged underwater by a very, very friendly Basseal.

Moonsong was rather disappointed that they didn't leave the Sea Raiders to become Kraken food. She thought it was the perfect punishment for their sea crime.
After an hour of just stuffing sushi inside her mouth, they arrived at the part of the sea where there are different kinds of beautiful sea life, all in one spot.
Let's go diving!
As she jumped into the sea, Moonsong spotted @Rael seemingly dragged underwater by the friendly basseal. She quickly intercepted them and grabbed into the basseal while protesting, speaking in garbles with her arcanamancy-conjured snorkelling equipment.
*blub* *blub* Not fair! I want to play with the good boy too!
The whole sordid affair had turned into quite the fustercluck to describe it lightly. The Kraken did what it did best and krakenated the raiders ship in half, sending several people tumbling into the deep below. Brutus did what he did best, and jet, taking his Lepus lover with him as the soared back to the Petunia and regrouped to begin a rescue effort. Once the raiders were rescued and locked up, they were off to their next fishing spot.
And damn was it the spot.
Ditching the rod it was time to dive. Pulling his tanktop off, the giant stretched a bit causing his burly muscles to bulge. He would turn to one of the Basseals, who seemed to be the biggest and the baddest of the bunch, truly the most powerful of seals in the bunch. Which wasn't saying much, but it was Toko's buddy so clearly he was the most superior.
"You with me buddy?" He would ask. "ORF." "That's what we like to hear."
Turning back to Toko he would raise an eyebrow. "You wanna go down below with me Hun? We can share a seal?"
With that, they departed for the grand blue deep to plunder it's treasure.
Once below the water, he found himself throwing hands with a shrimp that looked like he had eyes that could see god himself and was mad about it. The creature tried to throw hands, but he was no match for Brutus putting him into a crap trap with geomancy and successfully hauling him up to the surface.
▣ Attire: Red trunks baby, the shirt is off.

In the end, Fina didn't really do much aside from helping others lead the Kraken to where it needed to be - away from the Petunia! Though as she watched the raider ship get torn to bits and sink from safe distance, she started having some doubts. Well, not like she could do anything it now, aside from helping with the rescue efforts.
After that, the journey became quite peaceful. It was nice to just enjoy the cruise after all that madness. Perfect weather and view combined. Though things got even better when they arrived! The beautiful coral reef was partly visible even from above water. Now this was a place where she wanted to dive!
Not only that, as soon as she was submerged, one of the friendly Basseals swam over to her to help. It kinda made the feline feel bad for fishing two of them out before. Still, she graciously accepted the help and started looking over the sea's floor.
That had been... wheeew, Toko was sure when the raiders woke up this morning they hadn't expected such a wild kraken-y ride. "Arigatooh." The Felis had carried her back to the Imperial Petunia with ease.
The pair was safe and sound back on the deck before they watched the last of the raider's ships being dragged down into the sea, the hare whistling in appreciation before helping those climbing back on board.

"Sugoi, just look at the colors on that reef!"
Toko had been leaning on the railing, her eyes almost sparkling as Toko took in the view of the new fishing spot that the Petunia had managed to find. Already plenty of others were diving off towards it, and even the befriended Basseals from earlier seemed excited to get in on the fun.
"Hai, let's go!"
She made sure to give their Basseal buddy a few good scritches before heading off, jumping off the ship's side and cannonballing to the waters below before a hand reached out to hold onto one of the seal's flippers.
The ship began to turn, however it seemed there wasn't enough power in their sails to actually get it going—and when the kraken's tentacles showed up by the sides Lúthien knew it was time to fuck right off this particular adventure. With a skip and a leap she'd gone over the rail, a boost of aeromancy helping the elf clear an obstacle before she landed safely into the sea. Eventually back on the Imperial Petunia her hands worked on wringing the excess water from her long hair, when a familiar redhead approached from the side.
"Hey Stephie~!"
A bright smile was given to the woman (@Raid Boss), the ranger completely unaware of the reservations Stephanie seemed to have towards her, before Lúthien tilted her head in slight confusion as a bag was presented to her. Thankfully an explanation quickly followed, a look of understanding crossing the elf's face as she nodded in response.
"Sure, I'll pull out a card for you. Who knows, maybe it'll say we're absolute besties~!"
Red eyes sparkled in delight upon seeing the golden sheen of the card Lúthien managed to pull out of the bag, the prismatic glow upon it causing the elf to gasp before watching as it disintegrated into the air. "Where did it g—Oh my goood...!!!" It was then she noticed the centaur that had manifested, the ranger gasping in surprise as large eyes gazed upon it with child-like wonder, before it nocked out a prismatic light arrow towards the distance.

"Whoooaaa... this place is amazing!"
Delight crossed the blonde's face as she gazed towards the coral reef the Petunia had arrived to, the elf having already discarded her short top and hat onto a chair. "Hey, Jester and Ronja, one more round of fishing?!" Her gaze looked about for the tigress that had been with them before as well, waving her over upon catching her eye.
"Time to see who can get the rarest thing out of this reef, yeah?!"
With that the elf jumped overboard, diving into the waves below with ease. A large figure passed by, one of the friendly seals that had been on deck before, and quickly the blonde grabbed onto it for a free ride. Time to see what undiscovered treasures the coral was hiding, just waiting to be found...
Jester climbed back up onto the Petunia for the umteenth time as she helped save as many people as she could with her one and only mastery (and what a useful one it was for this entire escapade).
Alas, she was challenged to one last contest between @Ronja Bubblyfoot, @Harper, and @Luthien, and after grabbing a snorkel and a pair of orange goggles, she stared each of her three rivals down. In what she was optimistic to believe was her biggest boast yet, her absolute power move...
She flipped the metal visor down over her eyes. She entered Serious Mode as she leapt into the air and backflipped off the side of the ship. This was her time to shine! She'd been practicing this all afternoon!
Celestine let out a sigh of relief as the kraken focused its attention elsewhere. Well, that’d worked… swimmingly!
Everyone got back to work catching the fishies, and Celestine got back to doing anything but that. After all, she wouldn’t want to get her beautiful swimsuit wet; not after all the work she‘d made glowing it up (literally) with illusions.
"Have a good luck, everyone~" she called out as the swarm of people dived into the water. In the meantime, she‘d set out a stretcher and enjoy a bit of sun.

Snatched by the kraken, Sai felt relief from the slimy horror only when his companion literally clawed the stupid thing off him! Only for her to be snatched right after! After quickly surfacing and gasping for air, he dived once again: he had return the favor and— she was totally fine. The kraken had chosen another target…? Huh.
Sai was a bit more sheepish about entering the water after witnessing that thing, but somehow, here he was, gripping onto this weird aquatic creature in search of more fish. This game was crazy… but there was definitely something exciting about it. Even beautiful! Rainbows of coral and gardens of seaweed.
"I’ll race ya to see who can catch more fish, my gal~!" Sai winked at @Tenshi just before diving.
▣ Attire: An unbuttoned shirt and some shorts.
▣ Rare Fishes: 5
She was saved, but not by the sound of gunfire or the desperate prying of her usual party member. It was some other feline beastfolk @Crimson Ruby coming to her rescue. As she clambered to the surface, she huffed for air. "Pfahh! Huhh... Thanks!..."
"Hah! Alright, let's go!" Challenged by the snipey boi@Sai himself, Tenshi waited for the next available Basseal to trade off and give it a few reassuring pats of confidence and friendship before mounting up and diving on in.
▣ Attire: TBH pretty much the usual, just more water friendly.
▣ Rare Fishes: 6
